Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Location is quiet, having a car it is no problem to get around. There is a parking space available. Rooms are big and clean, beds very comfortable. Staff asked us what we want for breakfast, it was simple but good. You can always have tea and water in the main area. What makes this place special are the owners! You feel they really bother about you and are always there to help. All the staff is very kind.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Het personeel was fantastisch. Ik verbleef in deze homestay tijdens de grote aardbeving die Flores in augustus 2026 trof. Hoewel de situatie best angstig was, maakten het personeel en het echtpaar van de homestay mijn verblijf juist heel bijzonder en warm. Dit was het beste verblijf op Flores! De mensen waren ontzettend vriendelijk en deden er alles aan om ons, ondanks de moeilijke omstandigheden, te voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden en ervoor te zorgen dat we ons veilig voelden. Kortom: geweldig! Ik ben ontzettend dankbaar voor hun gastvrijheid.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Een fantastische familie om te verblijven! Als je in de dorm verblijft loop je regelmatig door hun keuken/woonkamer en wordt er altijd wel een praatje gemaakt. Ze helpen je met alles en verbinding andere reizigers. Samen eten en verhalen uitwisselen. Ik had een dokter nodig en dit werd binnen een paar minuten geregeld. Ze onthouden je naam, spreken goed Engels en geven goede tips. Het is brandschoon en een warme douche!

Ils nous on propose de prendre un repas avec eux, amener un gâteau fait le même jour et nous on donner un petit panier avec des morceaux de gâteaux quand nous avons prit le bus pour partir. Les gens les plus adorables possible. Merci. - la propreté - les conseils et l'aide pour les choses a faire autour - les petits restos proche a pied - la location de scooter sur place - la finale de coupe du monde sur grand écran 😬 - café thé eau chaude a disposition en salle collective
- la zone est bruyante parfois ... Moto avec ligne d échappement enivrée 😂 - autre convive se pensant seul dans la homestay la nuit (les gérants se sont excusés pour eux a plusieurs reprises 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻)

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026The family is amazing. We enjoyed spending time with them and just chatting. They were lovely and welcoming and helped us arrange transport and a driver when there were no more bus seats for the cost of bus seats. The workers have all Completed hospitality programs and speak decent English so service is always available. They ordered us scooters and provided extra blankets when needed. The breakfast was simple and fine. Coffee, tea and water available all day The rooms and place are very clean. The location is ideal. Walking distance to town and restaurants and all the drivers are familiar with the home stay. The place can get noisy at night but this would be the same anywhere you stayed in town, so just bring your earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The noise at noise is just the nature of Indonesian towns. The owner even went out of her way to ask the neighbors to keep the noise down. Overall, a simple but perfect stay.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026- Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Hausherrin hat mir den Shuttle zur Weiterreise organisiert. - Saubere Zimmer und sehr sauberes Gemeinschaftsbad. - Frühstück im angegliederten Warung war lecker.
- Als ich ankam, lag meine Buchung nicht vor. Vielleicht bekam ich deshalb nicht das angefragte ruhige Zimmer, stattdessen hörte ich die Straße. Generell ist das Haus (aufgrund der Bauweise) etwas hellhörig. - Es gab nur kleine Handtücher und keinen Mülleimer im Zimmer.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Solides Zimmer mit spartanischer, aber zweckmäßiger Einrichtung. Alles war sehr sauber – sowohl das Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsbäder, von denen ausreichend vorhanden sind. Tee, Kaffee und Wasser stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, ebenso das Besitzerpärchen. Sie betreiben außerdem ein Restaurant, das ein sehr gutes Frühstück anbietet. Auch die übrigen Gerichte sind lecker und dabei sehr preiswert. Außerdem kann man hier zu einem günstigen Preis einen Roller mieten. Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein Busbüro, in dem man unkompliziert Tickets für die Weiterreise buchen kann. Klare Empfehlung!

The owners/family is really nice and shared some arak with us and we talked the whole night. The owners even invited us to the communion of their neighbor, and we had same great food there!

El personal no fue muy profesional. Estaba el alojamiento vacío y nos pusieron en la de al lado de la recepción. Durante toda la noche se escuchaban ruidos de los trabajadores y del teléfono a toda voz, ruido de tráfico y perros ladrando. Pésimo aislamiento. Caro en comparación con otras ofertas de la zona. Desayuno muy simple.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Nach unserem ersten Aufenthalt hier waren wir wirklich begeistert. Deshalb buchten wir auf unserer Rückreise erneut eine Nacht. Dieses Mal war aber vieles anders.
Das Frühstück fand diesmal an einem anderen Ort statt, was jedoch nicht kommuniziert wurde. Als wir nachbestellt haben wurde uns über das doppelte des Preises auf der Karte berechnet. Auch das war schwer zu kommunizieren. Die Jungs vor Ort können leider kein Wort Englisch. Der Austausch miteinander ist also dementsprechend schwierig.

J’ai même eu l’occasion d’échanger avec Chacha et sa famille et ils sont adorables. Je pense tout simplement que c’est le meilleur endroit à Ruteng pour les backpackers. J’avais une chambre pour moi et j’ai au l’occasion d’aller sociabiliser avec les gens du dortoir (il y a un salon de ce côté du bâtiment). J’ai sincèrement passé un excellent moment à tout point de vue. Encore merci à toute l’équipe, c’était impeccable !

Man merkte, dass die Gastgeber das Hostel mit viel Herzblut führen - sie waren jederzeit für Fragen da und haben uns an einem Abend sogar zum Nachtessen bei ihnen zuhause eingeladen, so super lieb!! Die Toiletten/Duschen und die öffentlichen Räume wurden mehrere Male am Tag gereinigt - ich glaube, so ein sauberes Hostel hatten wir bisher noch nie gehabt =) Danke an das gesamte Personal für den super Service, ihr macht das super! ...und es hat ein Billiardtisch =)
Einziger Kritikpunkt: unser Zimmer war direkt an der Strasse und daher war es sehr laut (die vielen Autos und vorallem unglaublich lauten Motorräder waren sehr störend). Der neuere Teil des Hostels kommt etwas kahl daher (weder Bilder, noch Pflanzen, noch Dekoration). Der ältere Teil ist aber schön gemacht mit Sofas und Pflanzen.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026구능마스와 함께 있는 아주 깨끗한 곳으로 트윈룸, 공용욕실이었지만 욕실이 여러개라 사용하는데 아무 문제없었다. 욕실과 화장실이 함께 있고 샤워기도 여러 형태라 선택해 사용할수있다. 직원들이 엄청 친절하고 청소를 아주 깨끗하게 한다. 특히 바로옆 식당에서 조식도 먹고 밥도 사먹을 수 있어서 좋았다. 사장님이 알려주신 다마스같은 로컬 메모를 타고 거미줄논에도 다녀왔다. 시장부근에 메모가 많이 있어 차마다 노선이 있는줄 알았는데 그냥 택시처럼 이용하는거 같았다. 그랩,고젝이 모두 안되니 아쉬운대로 편리했다.
세수하는곳이 170m인 내겐 너무 높아서 팔꿈치가 젖지않으려면 뒤꿈치를 들어야했다. 하지만 다른 모든것은 완벽했다. 강력 추천합니다.

Pas d’eau chaude dans la salle de bain du dortoir.
