Lovely rooms - comfortable beds, pillows and with nice armchairs and table. Helpful but not cluttered! Also with air conditioning ❤️ Great breakfasts and they even coped with our crazy diets 👍

Prachtige plek en fijne mooie sfeervolle kamer met een goed bed. Fantastisch ontbijt. Vriendelijk geserveerd. Er werd een heerlijke omelet voor ons gebakken. Het was zeer uitgebreid en luxe. Fijne gastheer en gastvrouw.

Het was voor ons allemaal perfect. Ruime kamer met goed bed, badkamer heel netjes. Heel origineel en lekker ontbijt. Leuke tuin met dito omgeving. Rustgevend. Vriendelijke ontvangst.

Super gastvrije mensen, heerlijke locatie, prachtige locatie en tuin, zeer mooie kamer, lekker ontbijt... Alles was perfect!

Un court séjour que nous aurions aimé plus long, tant l'établissement et les hôtes étaient parfaits ! La décoration est magnifique, la chambre extrêmement confortable, propre et bien équipée. La climatisation et les stores occultant équipés de moustiquaires étaient un vrai + pendant cette canicule ! Nous nous rendions au festival Graspop a deux pas, c'était vraiment idéal. Les environs sont charmants et nous aurions aimé avoir le temps de flâner en vélo proposés par nos hôtes Ils ont été chaleureux, aux petits soins, et le petit déjeuner fait maison était excellent et en bonne compagnie Nous reviendrons, sans aucun doute, pour un séjour plus prolongé afin de mieux profiter du confort et du joli extérieur !

Rien à redire, tout était parfait !

Es war alles mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett super bequem! Es gab eine Klimaanlage, was super war bei 31 Grad Außentemperatur. Außerdem konnte man die Fenster komplett verdunkeln. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Gastgeberin super freundlich und immer ansprechbar.

Le cadre et la propreté, les équipements sont modernes

Eine wirklich schöne, fast luxuriöse Unterkunft. Sehr modern, sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Sehr ruhig im Grünen gelegen, man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl dort. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, mit viel Sorgfalt und gesund zubereitet.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt

Bijzonder vriendelijke eigenaars, erg gezellige plek. Heerlijk ontbijt, en erg uitgebreid. Ze hadden speciaal voor onze kinderen ook pannenkoeken toegevoegd aan het ontbijt. De kamer was ruim, erg proper, mooi ingericht. Heel rustige, natuurlijke plek. Ook leuk dat er zo veel spelletjes en speelgoed ter beschikking was voor de kinderen. Als we iets nodig hadden, hoefden we het maar te vragen en de eigenaars deden wat ze konden om het in orde te maken. De kinderen hebben ook vele leuke babbels met hen gehad. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Jammer genoeg was er een festival of tentfuif vlakbij, waardoor er wel wat lawaai was het eerste deel van de nacht, maar daar kunnen de eigenaars natuurlijk niets aan doen. Misschien zou het wel nuttig zijn - als dat een jaarlijks festival is - dat aan te geven op hun website.

De luxe en properheid, het wat een schoon huis in een schone omgeving

Ik kom nergens op uit, zelfs geen verbeterpuntjes.

De host was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam we kregen de code en hoefde ons niet zorgen te maken over de check in tijd de kamer is echt strak en modern maar wel in het bos thema airco en tv aanwezig onbijt was ook super uitgebreid alles vers en van de boer wij komen zeker nog een keertje terug !

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The service was outstanding, the rooms were very comfortable, and everything was clean and well organized. Ann was always friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly stay here again.

B&B with 3 spacious rooms, located in a quite location outside the village of Retie. Good place to stay overnight when visiting SCK CEN. Bed was good, the blinds made it pitch dark for a good night's sleep. Excellent breakfast. Friendly host

De kamer was niet super ruim, maar de gemeenschappelijke ruimte maakt dit goed. Alles was wel heel netjes en proper.

Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Heel vlotte communicatie op voorhand en heel vriendelijke, behulpzaam ter plaatse. Heel nette en ruime kamers met alle nodige comfort. Bijzonder lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Als we in de buurt zijn, gaan wij zeker daar terug. Een aanrader!

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Farradabstellmöglichkeiten mit Lademöglichkeit. Ein sehr hübsches und großes Zimmer mit fantastischem Ausblick ins Grüne. Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns noch Proviant für unsere Radtour mitgab. Das Frühstück war klasse, mit Kuchen, Obst und Joghurt mit Granola. Das ganze himmlisch ruhig gelegen. Besser geht es nicht.

We were warm welcomed and had a very pleasant stay at this quite and beautiful place. We enjoyed great breakfast and conversation with the owners who were really interested in making our short stay very comfortable.

Loved D&A Nest! Ann is the perfect host. The breakfast was delicious (home-made) and we even made sandwiches for lunch in the car. Ann is a wealth of information - she helped us plan our route around the Netherlands and was willing to help in any way. This was one of our best experiences at a B&B! The views from the bedrooms were lovely as were the views from the dining area. A lovely property with many thoughtful touches. The house is set up to provide privacy and comfort. I would highly recommend D&A Nest to anyone visiting Belgium and particularly individuals from the United States, as Ann's English is excellent!

Our stay was absolutely outstanding. The owner was brilliant—exceptionally friendly and attentive, going to every effort to ensure our comfort. The room was amazing, providing my family and me with a wonderful night’s sleep. Breakfast was lovely, and the property itself is beautiful, with charming gardens that add to the overall experience. Truly an amazing place.

The property was pristine - a picturesque modern cottage style building amongst fields with an incredible garden space. The decor was calm, inviting and really made the property feel like home. The room was immaculate - cleaned up for us daily and with all the necessities provided such as water and coffee facilities in the room. However the stand-out for this property are the hosts. They are welcoming and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They make you feel like family! I couldn't believe how lucky I was finding this property with it's location at the price listed! I'd whole heartedly recommend this for anyone looking to explore Belgium or just spend some time in the countryside.

There's nothing negative to say about the property at all! The only thing to bear in mind is that Uber - whilst available - is quite pricy in this area. However you can rent bikes from the property and use these instead.

We met a great hospitality from the owners. The room was big and nice and the view over the garden and trees was relaxing. Even a deer came by. The breakfast was rich and good.

I didn't think we'd find somewhere so heart warming and lovely after a long car journey in a windy and rainy, horrible sort of day. We arrived at the D&A Nest and felt immediately warm and welcomed. The place was nice and gives a lovely home feeling. The host was excellent, very friendly, and gave us such a wonderful breakfast that I still remember. We had many lovely conversations and she also made our children very entertained and happy. We were really lucky to find such a gem, and will definitely come back to stay in the future. Thank you so much!

Is there a rating higher than 10? D&A Nest is a fantastic place to stay - a restored and converted farmhouse made into a B&B with guest rooms upstairs with the entrance and main kitchen and dining room downstairs. We found everything to be extremely clean, the room to be comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a great private shower room and the hosts to be absolutely lovely. The "honesty fridge" (and coffee machine) is a nice touch and means that a selection of cold drinks and beers as well as proper coffee is available to guests at all times and at very reasonable prices. We stayed with a baby and a comfortable baby crib was provided and also with two dogs for whom bowls were provided. The charge for the dogs was 15 euros which is also very reasonable charge in comparison to other places which sometimes charge per dog. The parking is right outside and the surrounding area is extremely quiet. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Incredible breakfast with all kind of things you MAY need like fresh fruit, juice, bread, cakes, honey, jam, butter, ham, fresh fried eggs just made by the owner, milk, cheese and more..like at home. Incredible location, sorrounded by green, orchards, vegetation and trees, a place for quietness, calmness, with no noise at all neither during the day or the night. The owners, Ann and Dagan, are very nice, polite, focused to help, and in fact, very good people. I will remember this stay as the best in much time. If ever I come back to that region of Belgium, I will stay in their house for sure if they have avalaible rooms after these comments 😂😂 I could write many more things but I am supossed to make brief comments. I tried to publish pictures but the web doesn,t let me do it, maybe is my mobile. Thanks again Ann and Dagan for making us feel like at home.

Rarely seen such an aesthetically yet comfortably furnished B&B. I had the 'Zwalwennest' room, a cozy bed and a great view with a window front into the garden and the fields behind it. There is no oversized luxury here, the furnishing is functional - but still super elegant with a lot of flair. Everything very clean. A breakfast to die for! Various fresh fruit, homemade jam, apple juice from the fruit farmer next door, fresh cheese in whole or in slices, sausage, freshly baked rolls and slices of bread while still warm, a bite-sized piece of freshly baked cake, a glass of homemade crunchy yoghurt. You sit in the open dining room kitchen and watch how Ann (the owner) prepares either a fried egg sunny side up or a delicious boiled egg...

I did not like that I had to leave so early and could not stay for a while ;o)

What a perfect place! Lovely location that is peaceful, easily accessible and close to Retie. Rooms are super cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Common area and garden are much more than we expected. Like everything is meant for you to relax and enjoy. Breakfast is amazing (local delicacies, fresh warm bread, some of best cherries in my life...) with interesting twist every day. Best part of this already amazing B&B are the hosts. Such a warm, friendly and fun people who really care to make your stay best as possible. Lots of little details and treats that make you feel like home. Highly recommended if you are going to Graspop, exploring Flanders or in any other case.
