Reviewed Aug 7, 2026We did Turku Archipelago drive and arrived fairly late. Communication with the host family was very good. They welcomed us late and made tour. Everything was so tastefully designed and very fitting if you have group of 4 people. Had night-swim in the lake whuch was magical. The breakfast itself is a culinary treat and the host family gives good information about the area - they seem to have travelled a lot by themselves.
We liked all.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Das B&B liegt sehr idyllisch an einem See und trotzdem nicht weit von der Autobahn entfernt. Es befindet sich mitten im Wald. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Trotz dass wir kurzfristig zu fünft angereist sind, haben sie es ermöglicht, in den beiden Zweibettzimmern zu schlafen. Die Zimmer liegen im Untergeschoss des Wohnhauses der Gastgeber; der Flur ist ein offener Bereich zu ihnen. Die Grillhütte dient uns als Küche, unsere Lebensmittel durften wir im Kühlschrank der Gastgeber lagern. Unser Geschirr und die Feuerstätte haben die Gastgeber täglich gereinigt. Es waren für uns ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden: unter freiem Himmel und überdacht. Den PKW konnten wir auf dem Grundstück unter einen Carport stellen.
Aus der Beschreibung war nicht ersichtlich, dass die Sauna nicht auf dem Grundstück genutzt werden kann, sondern es sich um eine öffentliche Sauna in 300m Entfernung handelt; es hätte einen Rabatt von 10% auf den Eintritt gegeben.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Die Lage ist fantastisch: nicht weit von der E18 entfernt - und trotzdem sehr naturnah und still. Es lohnt sich, allein wegen der außergewöhnlich herzlichen und humorvollen Gastgeber Judith und Timo anzureisen: Ihre Gastfreundschaft ist beispiellos liebevoll und umsichtig - was mein zum Beispiel beim Frühstück mit allen Sinnen erleben kann (unbedingt buchen!). Die beiden sind auch in Sachen Architektur (Entwurf und Umsetzung) ein bemerkenswertes Team. Großartiges Gesamterlebnis, sehr zu empfehlen!

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026We loved the location, the peacefulness, the quietness, the whole environment near the lake, a little forest with high trees and trail paths amongst them... We, also, loved our apartment, the very well-built "Green Tower", very nicely decorated with the logic of reusing old and beloved materials from bygone eras... There were also barbecue facilities (not used by us), as well as the public saunas nearby (again, unfortunately, didn't manage to visit/use them). However, we DO tasted Judith's & Timo's handmade breakfast and... it was, for sure, a real experience!
The size of our apartment would be great for a couple; however, it was a bit small and "tight" to fit a family of 3 and their luggage. But... there is a solution: stay outdoors! It's amazing! :)

The only thing that I wasnt happy with ...was.. There was definitely not enough hot water for a decent shower... my only issue..but otherwise all very good and beautiful.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Värdarna var supertrevliga, det var väldigt rent och snyggt, allt förklarades noggrant trots att vi kom sent på kvällen, det var inga problem eftersom vi hade sagt till i förväg, läget är perfekt, inte långt från centrum i Åbo, samtidigt känns det som att man är mitt ute i naturen, det finns också en populär bastu i närheten, de har en mysig grillstuga som man får använda och en fin brygga ut i sjön, vi gillade det verkligen, tyvärr stannade vi alldeles för kort tid.
Fönster i sovrummet var för små och så högt uppe.

The sauna is public and has to be paid for, but is situated only 5 minutes from the residence.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The breakfast was varied and hand made. The location is excellent for a starting point to the city area of Turku but it is as if you are in a more wild area. A great place to unwind.
The beds are fine, but on the smaller side. Same for the shower. Someone larger would find them a bit cramped.

House is situated in the magical finnish forest away from noise. - wonderful hosts and lovely chat over breakfast - fluffy cats - very homely feeling - delicious local breakfast - private pier with access to the lake - close to the sauna place which was the main goal of our trip We will return next year for sure! :)
There is only a small window in the bedroom, could be an inconvenience for some people for during longer stay

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Timon ja Judithin pitämä Aamuranta on oikea helmi~ Tosi kaunis alue, huoneemme oli siisti ja tilava ja kylpyhuone oli myös todella siisti. Paikka oli rauhallinen ja kaukana kaupunki hälinästä mutta silti tarpeeksi lähellä Turkua ettei tarvinnut maksaa itseään kipeäksi taksilla. Aamupala ei kuulu hintaan MUTTA se todellakin on hintansa arvoinen. Letut itse tehdyillä hilloilla ja kanttarelli munakas olivat todella herkullisia. Ehdottomasti haluan tulla uudelleen hiukan pidemmäksi aikaa kuin vain yhdeksi yöksi. <3

The beautiful lake is perfect for swimming. The hosts, as well as the two cats, are exceptionally nice! The delicious breakfast is very lovingly prepared!
