Reviewed Aug 29, 2026The view was stunning, we had a car but with a 20 min walk you can reach the city center (Corso Umberto etc), the breakfast was very tasty and nice. Safe parking at the end of the road so someone hitting your car is minimized to your neighbors only. Housekeeping was available daily however we didn't use it as there was no need. We also had some cold water prepped in the fridge which was nice welcome after a long trip.
I've expected the bathroom to be in the bedroom. Although it was private, you did need to pass the corridor in the common area which wasn't very comfortable. Weather in the night you wanted to go or in the morning it's quite strange and uncomfortable showing yourself like that. You are provided with bathrobes which is a very nice touch to manage the situation however still if it's important for you to have the bathroom inside consider a different room within the property. Another thing was that the bathroom had NO ventilation. No fan, no AC. Spending anytime in the bathroom was a struggle for us because, standing there you easily start sweating. The walls were also quite thin. Luckily enough our neighbors just as us were out most of the time, but in the evening/night you can hear voices. The main door also should have some stopper to quietly close the door because it just makes a big bang without effort. All of this information are just things that had to make our stay a bit less comfortable however we do not regret choosing this place. Just somethings to consider.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Leuke kamer met mooi uitzicht. Kamer was gezellig ingericht en keurig schoon. Koelkast op de kamer was erg fijn.
Airco heeft een servicebeurt nodig. Het was behoorlijk warm en hij koelde de kamer niet voldoende. In de badkamer was het 28 graden. Er stond een waterkoker. Wat theezakjes maar geen koffieapparaat (Nespresso) wat je voor de prijs van de kamer wel mag verwachten. Geen suiker etc. Zelf maar oploskoffie gekocht. We hadden kamer met eigen terras. 1 ligbed en geen tafeltje met stoelen. Dus tja, wat moet je er dan mee. Ontbijt is te weinig. Italianen ontbijten niet, maar wij wel. Niet voldoende broodjes. Wel geteld 1 klein pistoletje, 4 boterhammen. 3 plakjes kaas en ham, geen eieren, sap uit een pak. In review zegt men geen mogelijkheid te hebben tot het koken van eieren. Je hebt prima eierkokers. Koffie mocht je absoluut niet zelf pakken (Nespresso) en dit kon je goed merken aan de mevrouw die het regelde. Ontbijt is dus 1 koffie. Haar blik was niet prettig als je nog een toast wilde maken. Zorgt van controlfreek, alles meteen weer schoonmaken als je iets had gepakt. Mijn man moest zijn schoenen aan bij het ontbijten, terwijl een andere (gast) dame in bikini met iets open gehaakt er overheen aan had. Prijs voor de kamer is te hoog door slecht werkende Airco, geen koffieapparaatje op de kamer en nauwelijks ontbijt.

Dalle foto sembra che la struttura sia diretta sul mare, invece non lo è.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Majoituspaikka on itsessään siisti ja upeat näkymät, oma parkkipaikka. Huoneessamme oli hämäävästi oma kylpyhuone, johon piti kuitenkin mennä yleisen aulan kautta. Sinänsä tämä ei meitä haitannut, mutta nettisivuilta emme ainakaan itse tätä olleet tajunneet. Sijainti on rantaa nähden kätevä, vanhaan kaupunkiin kävelymatka on pitkähkö kuumalla kelillä (portaita n. 10 min matka). Meidän reissulla toimi hyvänä tukikohtana 😊

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026L’établissement est à juste au départ d’un chemin terreux qui permet de rejoindre Taormine à pieds. C’est un chemin caillouteux, assez pentu. Il faut avoir de la force dans les jambes mais de toute façon tout le village est comme ça. Chacun à son rythme, c’est faisable pour tout le monde. La salle de bain n’est pas dans la chambre, elle est juste en face la porte de chambre. Mais c’est une salle de bain privative. Ça ne nous a pas dérangé du tout. La terrasse face à la mer pour le petit-dej ! C’était excellent. Il y a de tout ! Le dernier jour la dame a même accepté qu’on vienne 15 min avant l’heure du petit dej pour déjeuner avant qu’on parte. Personnel extrêmement gentil
Accès en voiture Il y a un parking en bas de la pente de l’hôtel, je vous conseille de vous y garer. La dernière partie est extrêmement pentue et il y a trois places pour se garer. C’est difficile pour manœuvrer.

Los alrededores al pequeño hotel, además encima del armario había una luz ( se supone que alguna alarma, que no nos lo advirtieron) que cada 15 minutos iluminaba la habitación, muy molesto de noche. Estaba muy alejado del centro

Najväčším sklamaním bol prístup pani počas raňajok. Celý čas sme mali pocit, že nás neustále kontroluje. Keď sme si zobrali chlieb, hneď ho išla zarovnať, pri ovocnom šaláte premiešavala misu, pri croissantoch opäť všetko upravovala. Kávu sme si nemohli pripraviť sami, musela nám ju urobiť ona. Keď som si chcela zaliať čaj, okamžite prišla, otočila kanvicu s etiketou dopredu a priniesla mi podšálku, akoby mi dávala najavo, že všetko robím nesprávne. Počas celých raňajok sme nemali ani chvíľu súkromia a necítili sme sa ako vítaní hostia. Bežne negatívne recenzie nepíšem, ale za cenu ubytovania som očakávala oveľa príjemnejší prístup. Izba aj výhľad na more boli krásne, Taormina je nádherná a určite sa tam ešte vrátim. Do tohto ubytovania by som sa však už nevrátila.

Dat het centrum boven op de berg lag en best een eind klimmen was.. Niet helemaal bedacht van te voren.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Sauberes, grosses und modern eingerichtetes Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage war in Ordnung, eher auf der ruhigeren Seite. Ins Zentrum von Taormina gelangt man entweder bequem mit dem Bus oder zu Fuss in ca. 15–20 Minuten über einen steilen, aber gut machbaren Fussweg. Ein Parkplatz ist direkt bei der Unterkunft vorhanden. Die Zufahrt ist etwas eng und steil, aber gut befahrbar.
Das Bad war etwas klein.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Es war eine wunderbare Unterkunft mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf das Mittelmeer. Daniela ist eine sehr reizende Gastgeberin und war sehr um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht. Es war sehr sauber undcsehr fut ausgestattet. Daniela hat jeden Morgen fantastisches Frühstück mit frisch gebackenem Gebäck, frischem Obst und Joghurt, Wurst und Käse und Cerelialen für uns zubereitet. Das B&B ist 5 min zum Strand und über einen Wanderweg bergauf von dem fantastischen Taormina entfernt. Da in Taormina das Autofahren nicht empfehlenswert ist, war es genau richtig so. Wir würden definitiv wieder dort hinfahren. Grazie Daniela

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Daniela ist eine bezaubernde Gastgeberin, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück auf der Panorama-Terrasse war fantastisch, unser Zimmer ein Traum mit Blick aufs Meer vom Bett aus. Das Zimmer war wirklich groß, modern, sauber und das Bett ein Traum! Die Lage am Weg nach Taormina ist genial - in ca 20 min und 140 Höhenmeter später ist man direkt in der historischen Altstadt. Der nächstgelegene Kies-Strand mit kristallklarem Wasser ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Gut zu wissen ist, dass der Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft sehr steil und eher was für kleine Fahrzeuge oder Geländefahrzeuge ist. Unterhalb der Unterkunft ist jedoch ein freier, öffentlicher Parkplatz im Flachen, auf dem mit etwas Glück auch etwas frei ist. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!!!!

Reviewed May 30, 2026A gem of a place, tucked right outside the main Toarmina city. The owners are understanding and lovely, the check in is until 22:00 however our flight was delayed and then issues with rental car, we arrived only close to midnight but they gave us no trouble. Our room, The loft, was wonderfully spacious, glass windows overlooking the sea and comfortable bed and mattress - we had our own separate entrance as well. Breakfast is simple, but enough to get started for the day! Parking is on the street out front and free.
Not per se about the property, the only way walking to the city centre is a 10 mins hike which is more like 30 mins rugged terrain - and def not for the night time. This isn’t about the property, but just so one knows for planning purposes.

Esta ubicado en una pendiente pronunciada, cuando decidí rentarlo en parte era por que estaba cerca del casco histórico de taormina, lo que no estaba para nada claro era que ese acceso era a través de un sendero ( en parte de tierra) de unos 600 mts con una pendiente muy importante y mal iluminado

Was not happy with the location - too remote. Very steep hill to get to property. Difficult to get into Taormina. Buses were unreliable-often late or full. The walk was treacherous. Gravel unpaved path, very steep. Very tiny shower with no shelves for soap or shampoos. Made it awkward to shower.

Asiakaspalvelu oli ala-arvoista. Meitä kohdeltiin epäasiallisesti koko majoittumisen ajan. Emme saaneet maksavan asiakkaan ansaitsemaa kohtelua. Paikan pitäjä lähetti meille viestejä kun olimme rannalla. Kuuntelimme päivällä musiikkia huoneessa ja asiasta huomautettiin välittömästi. Saimme myös viestiä, että huoneessa ei saa keskustella yöaikaan. Hotellin kannattaisi ilmoittaa etusivulla, että kyseessä on todella hiljainen majoitus. Emme suosittele paikkaa.

Liebloses Frühstück mit Billigprodukten, diese auch noch streng rationiert. Die Lage sieht auf den Bildern wunderbar aus, in Wirklichkeit schaut man aber nicht nur schön aufs Meer, sondern unten auf einen Parkplatz und die Bahngleise von Taormina-Giardini Bahnhof und links und rechts auf ein paar heruntergekommene Nachbargebäude. Nachts ist es immer wieder abrupt laut, weil ein Weg aus Taormina direkt unter dem Fenster vorbeifährt und die Motorräder und Züge unterhalb die Durchgangsstraße beschallen. Man muss die Fenster geschlossen halten. Die Gastgeber sieht man kurz zur Schlüsselübergabe, danach nur noch zu Frühstück eine mürrische Dame, die mit strengem Blick über die abgezählten Scheiben Käse und Salami, das als Saft bereitgestellte bunte Zuckerwasser und die Billigyoghurts wacht und mit indigniertem Blick den Wunsch nach einem großen Cappuccino nachkommt. Die Atmosphäre ist beklemmend. Ein paar freundliche Worte, etwa um einen zu fragen, ob im Quartier alles recht sei oder um noch einen Wunsch zu erfüllen , erspart man sich und den Gästen. Dafür nimmt man sich am Ende des Aufenthalts Zeit für eine längere Nachricht an den Gast, um dessen höflich zum Ausdruck gebrachte Unzufriedenheit zu kommentieren. Am Frühstückstisch sitzt man auf nackten Plastikstühlen, im Zimmer stehen nicht Gläser, sondern Plastik-Einwegbecher. Sauber ist es aber. Jedoch nie im Leben 200 Euro die Nacht wert. Reviewed May 14, 2026Daniela was sweet and friendly, the room was wonderful with a great view. Just a bit of a hike from the main streets of Taormina, but worth it. Quiet but not isolated. The hosts were very quick to reply with any questions we had. We hope to visit again!
Our stay was too short. Parking is available, bit of a slope so make sure your parking breaks work!

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026If you don't have a car, forget about this location, steep uptrend hill. Far from the center of you cannot climb for 25 min up the very steep hill. We are seniors and have back issue, the property description did not disclose that it's located on a steep hill. We asked the owner for some compensation so we can rent a car, the husband and wife got upset and ignored us. Do not recommended it.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2025Der Name des B&B ist wirklich Programm. Der Blick auf das Meer ist fantastisch und auch die Lage am Goetheweg nach Taormina ist toll, wenn auch etwas anstrengend. Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist einfach herrlich. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit ist etwas unterhalb der Unterkunft, wenn man nicht den sehr steilen Platz neben dem Haus nehmen möchte.
Das Frühstück könnte vielleicht etwas üppiger sein, ist andererseits aber auch völlig ausreichend.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025Ein unfassbarer Blick auf die Bucht von Giardini Taormina/ Naxos. Das B&B liegt direkt unterhalb von Taormina und ist über einen Fußweg (bergan) in etwa 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll bereitet und es gibt eine gute Auswahl. Das Zimmer (Dreibettzimmer) ist in hervorragendem, fast neuem Zustand. Die Deckenhöhe ist etwas niedriger als normal. Wichtig sind für Anreisen mit dem Auto die Parkplätze fast direkt am Haus.
Der Weg zum nächstgelegenen Restaurant führt entweder über den Fußweg nach Taormina oder entlang der Hauptstraße nach Naxos. Das Taxi, der Bus oder das Auto sind eigentlich ab und zu notwendig. In dieser insgesamt aber hochfrequentierten touristischen Gegend ist das nicht abdingbar.

Parkplatz sind empfehlenswert. Liegefläche zum Verweilen in der Sommersaison ist ebenfalls vorhanden und wer einen Strandtag oder Nachmittag einlegen möchte, kann dies Fussläufig erreichen und genießen.

Als wir die Koffer abgeholt haben, konnte man nicht mehr auf die Toilette gehen, da alles abgeschlossen war.
