Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Heerlijke en rustige locatie. Wij (mijn dochter en ik) waren er nu voor een concert in de Ziggo en wilden dichtbij overnachten. Ideaal, dichtbij station Abcoude, zo bij station A’dam Arena en vlg dag voor middag shoppen. Ik wil nog wel een keer terug voor de mooie omgeving (fietsen en wandelen). Superfijne bedden. Lekker ontbijtje.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Deze locatie aan het de Gein gelegen biedt de mogelijkheid om prachtige fietstochten te maken. De kamer is gelegen op de eerste verdieping, toegankelijk via een steile trap, van een oude boerderij. De badkamer achter het bed gelegen heeft een bad met douchekop en toilet. Op het gelijkvloers was een klein keukentje voor koffie en ook een kleine kamer die we konden gebruiken om een tweede toilet te hebben. Het ruime ontbijt werd geserveerd door de vriendelijke en sociale Jikkemijn. Vanuit de kamer hadden we een mooi zicht op de Rivier en de prachtige tuin met zitplaatsen aan het water. Een aanrader als verblijf voor fietsers en wandelaars.
De steile trap was niet zo evident. Spijtig genoeg hadden wij een herfstvakantie in de maand juni geboekt; het was koud en fris, maar dat is NATUURLIJK niet de schuld van de uitbaatster.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026C’était notre second séjour dans cette charmante et très typique maison au milieu de la campagne, à quelques km d’Amsterdam. La nature est superbe, peuplée de canards et de moutons. Notre chambre située au premier étage était mansardée avec beaucoup de charme et une vue magnifique sur la campagne et les canaux qui bordent le jardin. L’hôtesse est plus que charmante et prépare le matin un superbe petit déjeuner ( fromage hollandais, pains délicieux et petits gâteaux maison, œufs, etc…) En résumé, un véritable paradis.

Reviewed Oct 15, 2025The location was beautiful on the water with a large garden. The hostess Jikkemyn was great and very helpful. The room was very fun with a great view. There are several good restaurants not too far away. There is a train connection to Amsterdam close by, so you could easily visit the main tourist places and other places in the Netherlands. The breakfast was simple but high quality items. It would be great to take a day and bike around or use a canoe to follow the waterway.
Parking is somewhat difficult, don’t come with too large a car. It is a rural location so the roads leading to there are small. Although the room was very romantic, my husband could not climb the very, very steep stairs. Jikkemyn found a solution in a single bedroom on the ground floor but just for him. So not really advised or romantic for an older couple like us, unfortunately.
