Great response from Sofia who got us an additional bed side light. Shutters are great at excluding all light. Really clever internal lay out and the breakfast basket was a good start to the day. A bit noisy in the morning.

Very good location, close to everyting. Well equipped, comfrotable and nice place. The building, the high ceiling and large windows were charming. The nice morning goodies were a nice gesture. The communication with the host was very good.

Others noted in their reviews: The garbage bins are locared in front of the building entrance and the trucks come quite early to colect. There were no hooks to put the towels in.

The property is well positioned and close to everything ie River,Train station,restaurants. Access is easy and I loved the staircase and wall decorations leading to the room. Everything was clean and fresh and the view to the streets was exceptional.

The room was beautifully decorated , spacious & clean . It was in a fabulous location . Sofia was very responsive in her communication & staff were friendly .

It was a lovely surprise to receive a bread basket every morning that contained everything we needed for our breakfast. The location of the property was very central. It was in walking distance and very easy to reach from Sao Bento train station.

Right in the middle of everything happening in Porto, easy to get around from there. The room is quite spacious and they deliver a very nice breakfast every morning.

Some of the bathroom door fittings and so on look great but are quite impractical, and it would have been nice to have a shelf in the shower to place shaampoo and body wash on

Everything about the property is fabulous. The decor, the cleanliness, the prompt replies from the owner Sophia to any queries, the absolutely wonderful location to access the lively riverside. The morning breakfast basket was an unexpected addition which we loved. The staff who came to clean the apartment when we were checking out absolutely refused to accept any tips, which I found very surprising too.

We had a wonderful stay at Viterbo’8 – The Artists House. The apartment (we stayed on the first floor) was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided by the host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—within walking distance of all the main sights in Porto, so we hardly needed any transport during our stay. A lovely extra was the cute breakfast basket delivered every morning, which was a great way to start the day. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

Honestly, we didn’t have any complaints. Everything matched our expectations, and we would happily stay here again.

I didn’t realise there was no one at the premises to welcome you but it all worked out fine and it was easy to contact the staff.

We had a wonderful stay at The Artists House. The location is excellent,very central and within walking distance of all the main attractions, restaurants, and the riverfront. The room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly baked bread, which was a lovely touch.

The shower door didn’t seal very well and the floor outside would become very wet. Also sometimes the rugs were a bit slippy on the wood floor

We stayed in Musica apartment which is on the second floor facing the street. The location is absolutely ideal for exploring the city with a multitude of restaurants and bars within literally a minute's walk. We enjoyed listening to the street musicians who take turns at the square just up from the apartment. The river is about 5 minutes' walk. The building is a traditional building and inside you are greeted with an amazing blue marble wall and a calm spacious interior. The apartment is beautifully decorated and themed, and very comfortable with everything you could need for a short stay. We very much appreciated the delicious and generous breakfast basket brought to the door each morning with fresh pastries, rolls, juice, milk and coffee pods. The shower is very good and strong and lovely toiletries are provided. Sofia was very communicative and helped make our short stay in Porto an enjoyable one.

There are communal recycling bins directly outside the property which are emptied loudly by machine early each morning, we do realise this is to be expected with the busy city centre location and is not the fault of the apartment. Bathroom lighting is dim - could do with better lighting around the mirror in particular.

Loved the stylish, themed rooms with high ceilings. The location was perfect in the middle of the action while still being quiet inside. We had everything we needed and the breakfast basket was very well received!

Breakfast hamper was a lovely surprise each morning. The Artists house is very central off a lovely square with plenty of restuarants and bars. With a short walk down to the river.

If I had to say anything it would be slightly large handles on the wardrobe doors.

The Artists house is great! Very spacious room (Peintura) and styled after the theme with attention to the last details! 👌 Kitchen and bathroom are very new and everything is exceptionally clean! The location is in the heart of the city and just a 10 minute walk from the Douro (south) or Bento station (north). Many good and better restaurants just around the corner. Sofia was an excellent host, very helpful, super responsive and quick in solutions! 5 ⭐️ Can recommend this place without hesitation! 👍 Oh, and the breakfast basket is a delightful add-on! 🤩

Fantastic central location central to everything. Generous breakfast basket delivered daily to door.

Issues with shower and toilet doors getting stuck and difficult to open. No hanging hooks for towels so hung on a hat rack in the middle of the room. Advertised as having a separate bedroom but was a studio separated by a TV. Breakfast delivered after we left the room at 8am on two days and could not be delivered any earlier.

Probably the best spot in Porto - 5 minutes proximity to all tourists destination, restaurants ( including Michelin), river cruises, tram, metro ect.

Great location - unique and beautiful rooms with views. Very clean. The breakfast basket delivered was a treat.

It was difficult to get to by car due to the pedestrian barricades on the streets surrounding and parking took a while (but our host gave us the address of the closest lot). I did notice there was no hot water in the kitchen sink, counters had cleaning product residue. Otherwise perfect

Set up was great and location can’t be better. The breakfast basket surprise is an appreciated and a great detail.

Minor theme. Weather in spring in Porto is humid. There are no towel racks to the towels don’t dry properly. A heated towel rack would solve the problem in a wink. Shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, and you have to use the rug and a hand towel to dry it out, so these are always wet or humid also.

Looked forward to the basket of goodies at our door every morning. Good coffee and fresh milk and juice. Kitchen was a big plus on our stay. Perfect neighborhood to stay in, close to the river and the town. Very good value, comfortable, easy, romantic, perfect.

Location super central while quiet. Spacious, comfy and super tasteful decoration. Literally 1m away from Castro pasteis de nata bakery Sofia is very reactive.

Wonderful location yet quiet enough - right in the centre of Porto and literally 2 mins walk to the river. Beautiful suites and breakfast delivered each morning left in a basket outside your room. Small kitchenette in the suite , extremely large and comfortable bed. Beautifully decorated individual suites - I’d recommend this accommodation unreservedly.

This is an amazing apartment, fully equipped, you could stay here for an extended period. Huge size apartment, great location, warm, and sunny. Also, they leave a little breakfast picnic basket outside your door in the mornings.

The shower seamed dirty as there was a lot of hair piled in the corners, and what could possibly have been soap build up on the floor creating the orangey look in a few spots on the floor. The shower screen door didn't shut properly so it squirted a lot of water out into the main area. The couch is more of a feature than for sitting on. The toilet seat is very heavy and not soft closing. Careful not to slam it down and lose a finger.

Really, I never write this kind of stuff usually, and generally what I am writing now is not a problem for the vast majority of people, but as I have a very sensitive sleep, I would need the roll-ups for the upper window, just right above the bed upstairs. Without that window, the sunlight was awakening me too early in the morning.

The unit was beautifully appointed and in a fabulous location. The unexpected breakfast basket was a nice touch that got our days off to great start.

It would have been nice to have a few more places to hang bathroom towels to dry.

No where to store luggage after checking out before flight. We asked if there was anywhere to store luggage but received no response. There was the bin collection noise in the mornings but this did not bother us unduly.

The only small note for an otherwise perfect stay: we found a slight lack of hanging space for towels in the bathroom. Given the premium feel of the suite, a few stylish hooks or a rail would be a welcome addition to help dry towels between uses, especially for longer stays.

Wonderful apartment with high ceilings and an enormous ceiling rose! The room had 3 tall windows with wooden shutters and a 6 foot bed. Beautifully decorated which created a luxury feel. Large walk in shower with hot water all the time and lots of mirrored wardrobe space. The breakfast basket was a real treat, left outside your door between 8.30 and 8.45 each morning. We loved the 'Literatura' apartment, on the third floor, and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Porto

Once you realised the best place to hang your towels was on the 'coat stand' all was fine!

Amazing accomodation in a perfect location! The room is large and spacious, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast basket in the morning goes above and beyond. I would stay here again and highly recommend. Sofia is very helpful and accommodating.

Not a negative but note that it isn’t like a hotel with a reception to leave your bags if you arrive before check in, inform Sofia and she is always trying her best to help you and find a possible solution!

Sofia was fabulous at making sure I had everything to enter, was quick to respond when I called her, and she even delivered the cutest basket of breakfast treats. The apartment was stunning, far better than represented in the photos. My little boy loved the swivel TV feature.
