Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Two wonderful hosts, each worth more stars than I can give. The hosts are as helpful and friendly as they come! Next, three exceptional dogs that I am missing. Thirdly, amenities and facilities are very good — No worries. Also, I had more privacy and peace than I am used to in my travels. And Valencia village is a short walk (or a very short ride), and is quite entertaining after you get your bearings.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Anna and the women were amazing, and to forget the 3 wonderful dogs. Giving of a girst impression of guardians then once through the gate want to cuddle up at every opportunity. Lovely building. The staff cannot do enough for you. Bike hire also. Would come back if visiting Valencia ❤️

Reviewed May 25, 2026Everything! This place is an absolute delight! There are gorgeous wooden-framed mirrors everywhere. And the dogs 🥹😍🥰 and the humans!!! Loved this place. The shampoo and conditioner smelled great!

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026What I like most about our stay is how everything felt perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stay. I also really loved the food; it was delicious and definitely one of the highlights of the experience. Overall, the excellent service and attention to detail made the whole staycation unforgettable.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026We had a great stay here! The host was very helpful and welcoming to us. We stayed on the top floor so had a nice view of the sunrise in the morning and the air con is great so the room never got too hot. The location of the property is great, walking distance from a 7-11 and a bar/restaurant with a souvenir shop across the road. Can’t forget to mention Achilles, Paris & Athena, the 3 most friendly and lovely dog residents at the house! Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Dumaguete or Valencia.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026Tout était très bien. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien ( comme à la maison). L’équipe est vraiment gentille, attentionnée et font tout pour que vous soyez bien chez elle. Une belle surprise. C’était l’anniversaire de mon mari et nous avions des bougies pour qu’il puisse souffler. Vous pouvez accéder au bas de la maison si vous souhaitez ramener à manger le soir. Le jardin est très arboré et agréable. En plus 3 chiens que nos enfants ont adorés. La chambre familiale était très bien /propre et grande. Nous avons même pu regarder un film un soir dans le salon de la chambre.
La maison est au bord de la route donc assez bruyant le matin.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2024Cath made us feel at home - their warmth was felt as soon as we stepped inside the place. Clean and very homey. Their dogs were very friendly even my 3yr old son wasn't scared of them. The breakfast was great, loved the freshly-brewed coffee. And the view from our room was awesome, no filter needed! We will definitely come back!
It's beside the road so expect some vehicular noise but it wasn't a deal-breaker for us. We still slept good during our 3-night stay. :)

Reviewed May 10, 2024Good location. Snorkeling in Bacong or hitting up Dumaguette's city scene is a 10 - 15 minutes from here. And Valencia is just a stroll away too. Rooms cozy with all the coffee and tea you need, plus your own bathroom. Breakfast steals the spotlight! Tasty and creative, I'm already dreaming of those morning delights.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2023Our hosts Anna and Cathlene were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was a combination of English/ Philippine style and was very good indeed. Location very good. Spotlessly clean . So we can recommend this guest house fully.
Only small downside is some traffic noise,but since it is on main road, then this is to be expected.

Nice room with little details everywhere, private bathroom outside just next door. The overall is very clean and the breakfast is a killing to fuel your day. Highly recommend. Thank you Ana.
Try to avoid using Aircon at night, a little noisy, Valencia is a cooler area too therefore no problem there.

Reviewed Dec 5, 2022Our stay at Belfort house was exceptional. The house is beautiful and big, accommodating 3 guests in separate bedrooms. It is sparkling clean. They have a big garden and two beautiful, playful dogs. We totally loved the dogs. The location is very good, walking distance of Valencia main square, and 15 minutes drive to Dumaguete center. Anne, the host, and her cousin, are very kind. They informed us about touristic stuff and were always checking if we needed something. The price is fair.
If I must look for a negative, just that the bathroom is outside the room (not a deal breaker)
