Peaceful at it’s best. Clean & tidy. Eco-friendly and with very friendly pets.

Not so accessible. No food and drinks offered. Still, were grateful to be offered free coffee.

Only One week the fan on rooftop work perfect but the last 3 weeks didn't not for me it was okey but my wife but she didn't care about it also, in the shower need to take time for the power on shower head so yeah

Friendly helpful owner, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent Swimming pool. Location nice right in the hills in the Province. Pick up and drop off service very good at owners expense...unlimited mineral water. Would definitely stay again!

Hot water service for Shower a bit unpredictable...probably get used to it! Horizontaly flushing toilet downstairs needs adjusting!

A's place is truly 5* Everything you want and need at your fingertips. The hosts are amazing and will go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The nature surrounding the property will definitely make for a very relaxing stay I would have no hesitation in recommending A's place. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful house under palm trees with a pool and jacuzzi. I had everything at hand - beautiful bathroom, kitchen, TV and air conditioning. Comfortable bed and strong WIFI, rented scooter from the owner helped me a lot on my trips to waterfalls and mountain valleys. It is not far to the city of Valencia, where I visited the local market. Many thanks to the owner who helped me when I needed new airline tickets.

The couple who owns and manage the place are fantastic and helped me a lot, even with personal request which were not regarding to my staying in the house. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a nice private swimming pool, the bed is comfortable, there is a nice big window and a balcony with a nice view, and privacy even when it is open. Two toilets and showers with hot water. Electric socket near the bed. Silent Air conditioner.

For me it was perfect. You only need to make sure that you understand exactly the location, because you need to cross some 100 meters of small trails which are not marked on Google maps. Also, groceries are limited in the area, so make sure to bring what you like. The driving time to Valencia town is 5 minutes.

Great location up the mountain and a real home from home. The host was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. They were so nice and even invited us to their Birthday gathering. The pool was a very nice place to chill out and have a swim.

Well it's really hard to say any negatives as there isn't. I guess the water pressure was a bit low at times for the shower. But it's not really a complaint, but more of an obsession and that is the reality of out of the way places in the Philippines.

The owner and his wife are very friendly and they do everything to make their customers happy! Well done!!! I had a great time there!

Very hard get to as the road is in very poor condition and not marked well. Ac didn't seem cool down the hot upstairs and the lower kitchen part very hot I think if another bigger ac unit installed place ve more comfortable on hot days as we had.

Such a lovely place to stay for a few nights. I could have honestly stayed for an entire week. The location is very nice. 5 minutes from Valencia, which is a cute and laid back town. In the middle of nature. The view is so relaxing. Close to waterfalls and all the sides. The place has a lot of facilities (pool, jacuzzi, entire house + kitchen). It is clean and very comfortable bed. The perfect place to spend a get a way or a couple of nights just relaxing, reading and roaming around. Host was very helpful and responsive. Would love to come back

What an amazing find, the property is beautiful, the surroundings peaceful, and the hosts lovely people. Located up in the hills just minutes from Dumaguete and an easy drive into Valencia if you’re looking by for a stay anywhere near here then this should be your first choice.

Don’t use Google maps to find the property. Look for signage on the road. My experience might be different than others as the owner was not present during my stay. Their dog barked and whined intermittently most of the first night. At 6 am the barking and whining was non-stop. I think the noise drove the cats crazy. The cats used my motorbike seat as a stress relieving scratching post. The second night was better, but at 6am I woke up to constant barking and whining again. I ended up letting the dog out to get some sleep.

( trató increíble y muy atento en todo momento, nos vino a buscar al puerto y el día de salida nos llevó también a la parada de bus). Recomendable 💯 por todo! Sin duda, repetiremos!!

Very accommodating host and beautiful location!

The hosts were really amazing. From picking me up at the airport, to dropping me off at the ferry terminal. The owner gave me a Tiki Tour upon arrival through Dumaguete, pointing out various places of interest. The place is out of Dumaguete and Valencia, in the hills. You would need a moped for getting around. I liked the serenity of the place, only noises coming from animals and insects. Not everybody's cup of tea, but suited me, to relax.

It's 2 storeys. Since I have a heart condition, climbing stairs was an exercise for me! Ha But all good. Shower had at times low pressure, but hey, it didn't really matter.

I had a great stay at Adrian's place and he was also a great host. He's been super helpful from pickup/drop-off, scooter rental, driving me around to giving advice with activities. He and Jen went as far as giving me medecine when I got sick. The house itself was clean and well equipped with good bedding in a peaceful environment. The swimming pool was also a great commodity. I can't recommend enough staying there for a few days

A’s Place is a great spot for a quick getaway! The pool is clean, and the jacuzzi is a nice touch. The kitchen is accessible, and the peaceful location is perfect if you enjoy a quiet stay. It’s a bit far from Valencia Plaza, but great for walking. The owner is approachable, and we'll definitely go back!

This place is amaizing. Here you can be far away from all the noise and distraction! Also Adriaan and his wife are wonderful hosts🙂 They did everything they could to make me feel at home. Also you can watch some good football with Adriaan!

It was absolutely delightful staying in the highlands above Valencia. The town was only a short ride or drive away but the location was semi rural and a chance to enjoy a slower pace. There's a road cyclists' cafe nearby that makes great coffee and waffles. Waterfalls are nearby. The hosts at A's Place were very thoughtful, organising a scooter for me and offering great suggestions of what to see and do. The accommodation was private, the bed was so comfy and the pool and kitchen, amazing.

I felt very lucky staying at this self contained accommodation, and with the hosts close by to answer any of my needs. Being a more remote location, the roads were being worked on, so it was a bit tricky getting in and out, but a lovely experience to be off busy streets and asphalt and the farm animals were friendly!

Billiard inside the house saved our stay, that was good. The view over the mountains from balcony is very nice. They arraged scooter rent and transportation from/to Dumaguete. Swimming pool condition was good, wifi was good, kitchen was ok.

The worst thing there was no privacy, as an apartment is connected to the host house, didn’t feel very confortable in the swimming pool. The road to get to apartment is very dusty and rocky, not easy to drive scooter. Water issues during brown out, didn’t provide any bucket of water even for toilet use. Nowhere to sit really comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at A's place. The location is quiet in a small forest. The apartment is on two floors. The kitchen is downstairs and the bedroom with bathroom is upstairs. From there you have access to the outside terrace with a whirlpool. The swimming pool is right in front of the apartment. Everything is clean and well-kept. But the best thing is the host Adrian. He is super friendly and even invited me to dinner with his wife and his staff. He has lots of tips for things to do in the area. I will definitely come back.

We really loved our time here, situated up the mountain away from the noise and heat was perfect, close to all the great trekking trails and waterfalls all within walking distance, the place itself was immaculately clean and “A” Adrian is a very easy going and polite guy who gave us great recommendations for food and waterfalls to see. We were sad to leave after just 5 nights and would definitely come back as the area was our favourite in the Philippines.

Super host, place had an unforseen water shortage problem and he upgraded us and looked after us above and beyond.. First class host .would absolutely stay again next time in Valencia or Dumaguete. He also recommended a stunning huge waterfall nearby that was the highlight of our stay.Thankyou very much

Adriaan has been the best host I have had. Since coming to the Philippines in March of 2023. He is very friendly and has helped me in so many ways. I have felt very welcomed here in Valencia. After meeting him I have decided to live and stay in Valencia. Instead of randomly moving around the Philippines. I feel lucky to have ended up staying here. Even luckier to have made a really good friend. A’s Place is very nice inside and out. I enjoyed using the pool. I was even given some advice on how to swim. Since I do not swim well. I know anyone coming to stay here after me will enjoy their stay as well.

Firstly, the apartment itself is excellent, comfortable, clean, has a big screen TV with Netflix, beautiful swimming pool. A home away from home. But what really makes it special is the host. Helpful and friendly does not begin to describe it. He'll make you feel like a welcome family member. Simply awesome!

The apartment that I booked was not the apartment that I was expecting but the owner was right the bamboo apartment was superb! It was very child friendly it's very beautiful inside way more better on the uploaded pics here. And the owner was very friendly :)

They should update their picture in this app so that people will see the interior designs. Some roads going there are still not concrete.

Sir Adrian is the nicest guy! A 10/10 score is not enough for everything that the owner and the place has to offer. We loved our stay and would've probably stayed 2 weeks or a month if only possible. We came with in with a lot of stuff and food and the owner got us a bigger fridge even if we didn't ask for it. We inquired if there's an oven toaster and the next day he bought a brand new one. During check out we were even allowed to extend 2 hours without charges. Going to and from the property, we were fetched and dropped off to our next destination by Sir Adrian himself, with no added fees. This is the place to be when going to Valencia.

The host was very accommodating. We had our every need taken care of. You get a tiny home all to yourself. The host lives on the house next to the property so you can easily ask them if you need help with anything. You get to use the pool and the hot tub. Some A+++ amenities for a fraction of the price.

The road to the property is a dirt road and can be challenging when it rains, but it's totally worth it when you get there.
