The bed was comfy, well equipped kitchen, nice little balcony in a good neighbourhood.

Blinds in the bathroom were slightly broken and the fan wasn’t very powerful so steamed up quickly. However, these were tiny issues.

Blue Tulip studio is very nice. Located pretty central but not in Red Light District, which is big plus for me personally. Studio is pretty clean and has a great size bathroom. Owner of the place is friendly and responsive. Just keep in mind studio is located on second floor (for me it seemed more like 3rd floor) and stairs are narrow and there is no elevator. However, it seems the case throughout most of Europe. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Amsterdam.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking the canal. The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the Metro, less than 10 min walk to Van Gogh Museum. A good choice of restaurants within 5 min walk.The shower was powerful, and the large bed was super comfy. Highly recommend. Thank you, Paul

It is in a strategic location, one to two minutes to Metro, tram & bus station making travel both in the city and outside the city so convenient. The room with a kitchen is stylish and comfy. Moreover, there is a small balcony with a view of a canal. It was enjoyable being there having a drink and immersing in the neighbourhood. The host, Paul, is super nice and friendly and thoughtful and helpful. There is a list of things to do and places to visit provided so we can have more ideas of what to do and eat. There were also some complimentary drinks, fruit, and a bottle of wine ready in the room for us. Also, we were able to leave our luggages in their store room before and after check out as we have early and late flight respectively. He even assisted us with the luggages making the check in and out easy for us.

The location was perfect and the bed was soooo comfortable!

Bathroom floor was a bit slippy when wet, so could do with a larger mat, but only a very minor point.

The locations was easily accessible to the metro and a Tram stop. It was very easy to get to where we needed to be. The apartment was lovely and included all ameneties needed to make our stay comfortable.

We could sometimes smell cigarette smoke in the apartment, no doubt coming from other units nearby. The problem was easily fixed by opening up the windows.

The apartment was truly exceptional in all aspects from location, comfort and quietness. Brilliantly appointed rooms and perfect for a 4 night stay. View of the canal from the balcony was a perfect start to the day, a rare find to have private outdoor space in Amsterdam for a coffee and a smoke! Very easy access from Central station just 2 stops on Metro 52 - on arrival we took an expensive taxi ride but on departure managed the Metro with ease. Thank you Paul for the advice.

Steep stairs, so be aware no large luggage

Great location, huge bed and fully stocked kitchen. Paul was very friendly and even gave some refreshments, including wine:), which was very nice after a long day of travel. Very quiet place at night so its easy to sleep and the blackout curtains are awesome.

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Tulip Amsterdam. The location was perfect, and our accommodation was perfect in every way. So comfortable and clean. Felt like home!

A great location, very comfortable. Paul was very pleasant and had lots of information about the attractions in Amsterdam. The Dutch Apple Pie and the bottle of wine was a huge surprise (the pie was delicious).

Lugging our 23 kg suitcase up and down the narrow staircase, BUT, after learning about why the staircases are so narrow it is a nice story to tell our friends back home.

The place was amazing and cosy. Really clean and a lot of space. The location was ideal next to the tram and the underground. I recommend for a trip in Amsterdam with your loved one ! And 10/10 for the nicest host ! 😊

Paul was a great host and he told us everything about the apartment, the neighborhood and the city. He was warm and friendly, also left some fruits, drinks and an apple pie. Apple pie was great! The apartment has a great location, you can walk anywhere from there. The balcony is better than it looks on photos, I would stay in the same place if I ever travel again to Amsterdam.

Perfect location, perfect host, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Balcony overlooking canal. Easy walking distance from museums, metro, lovely restaurants, supermarkets and centre. I would recommend staying here and will book again if visiting Amsterdam.

The room is way bigger than it looks on the picture and has a very luxurious feel to it… Paul the host was lovely and helped us multiple times during our stay. Thanks Paul and would definitely recommend staying here for any one.

Couldn’t fault Blue Tulip, it was a great stay!!

It was lovely the layout, and everything you need was thought about. Paul was a great host, and even let us check in earlier, which was great as we arrived at 11.45am, but even so, we were orignally offered to drop our bags off so the thought was very appreciated. We loved the touch of the apple pie (delicious by the way!!) some refreshments in the fridge and fruit. The power shower was amazing and the memory foam bed and feathered pillows were comfortable after a long day off exploring, it was needed! The balcony was a good touch as we were smokers so it was nice to be able to go outside with a coffee in the morning and enjoy the fresh air. Just what we wanted for a nice short break away. Thank you for sharing your apartment with us.

Apartment was clean. The bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was clean and large. Paul was so helpful and hospitaple. When we arrived, we met a lot of surprise in the kitchen. Like delicious applepie, vine, beer, fruits etc.

Really lovely property well taken care of, and good quiet location. The owner was lovely and thoughtful and let us keep our bags there the following day, very friendly! Had everything we needed and wanted and would definitely recommend, or come back too!

No "established " breakfast but Paul provided wonderful apple tart and fruit bowl.

Everything, Paul’s place is right at the Rijsk museum (2 min walk) the area has many restaurants, coffees etc., great vibe, public transport is short distance too, trams and metro also in 2 min walk. The place is like on the pictures! Paul is an excellent host, he goes the extra mile, we were welcomed with apple pie, coffee for the machine, several teas, cold drinks etc. The little balcony is right on the canal, we loved sitting there in the evening. The place is very quiet during the night, only seagulls😊. We had a wonderful stay, thanks Paul!

The location of the property is excellent. We walked around the city and also to and from various sights in the city. The apartment we stayed in is to the rear of the property and therefore very quiet and peaceful. The shower is powerful with plenty of hot water. The owners left us a bottle of wine to welcome us and a very tasty apple pie. Tea, coffee and fruit were also supplied.

The stairs is steep but the apartment more than makes up for this.

We loved the comfort of the big bed & lovely outlook onto the canal from back of property. The convenience of metro to apartment… & easy transfer to airport.

Paul's apartment is sweet, warm, very clean and in an excellent location. There is a Nespresso machine with free tea and coffee. everything was within walking distance and as vegans we had no problem finding delicious food. For smokers, there is a tiny balcony with a view of the channel which was super fun. Paul is a wonderful host.

Wow this place is incredible!! It looked great in the photos and even better in real life. The location is excellent, the balcony and the view from it was amazing, the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need/want and more (we also got left some lovely treats by the host), the bed was probably the biggest and most comfortable i’ve ever slept on and THE SHOWER… it was beyond incredible! I never wanted to leave!! Thanks so much to the host for an unforgettable stay. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Wow what an amazing apartment, view of the canal from the private balcony beautifully decorated, centrally located close to Heineken brewery and many places to eat drink or "have a coffee", super friendly host who welcomed us with home made apple pie, fruit and a fully stocked drinks fridge!! Would highly recommend 🇮🇪

The bed was huge and very comfortable. the shower was also very big and powerful. There was also a small balcony to sit out on and look at the canal below. The neighbourhood was quiet but central and made it easy to explore, plus it was 4 mins walk to the Rijksmuseum!

Although at first I loved the dark bathroom, it made it really hard to put on make up! The stairs up to the flat are incredibly steep, and whilst we managed them, I think many people would struggle.

The apartment is completely updated with all amenities. The owner stocked refrigerator with drinks, and welcomed us with a homade pie. Very responsive owner and helped us with luggage.

Excellent location, Paul is supper helpfull and willing to help me take my heavy bag down the stairs. The balcony is supper and in general nice place to stay when you visit Amsterdam.

The stairs are too steep for old people or with an infant.
