Lovely clean property very close to Glendalough Monastic Site

We booked a studio but received a suite which turned out to be spacious. Unfortunately breakfast was not an option on Booking but other guests got vouchers for a good restaurant nearby.

Great location for visiting Glendalough and for Wicklow Mountain hikes. Clean, spacious rooms, and nice common areas.

The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Our family had two rooms--one in the main house and one around the back with a separate entrance. That was not a problem, but it was odd and inconvenient that the family members staying in the outside room were not given a key to access the main house where all the common areas are.

Very reasonable price. Nice and compact, comfortable and had everything you needed. Reception and staff were so lovely and helpful

Had asked for a cot in the room but we didnt get one. I coul have mentioned it though but I didnt.

Schönes Haus, funktionell und gemütlich eingerichtet.

Haben nicht das Zimmer bekommen, das wir gebucht hatten. Mussten uns dann mit weniger zufrieden geben. Man erklärte uns, dass es halt Gäste gibt, die öfters kommen oder Familien, die zwei Unterkünfte nebeneinander haben wollen. Eigentlich wirklich nicht unser Problem, einfach nicht akzeptabel. Hatten dadurch weniger Sicht und weniger Platz. Fühlten uns durch das Personal beobachtet. Alles wurde kommentiert (die Marken unserer Schuhe, die Sauberkeit in unserem Zimmer, usw.). Schade.

L'accueil de la propriétaire était excellent, la maison est très bien située (pas loin d'un PUB et d'un restaurant). La chambre était très confortable et très propre. les extérieurs dont le jardin sont magnifiques. Au besoin une supérette est à 200 m en face de la location.

Il est bien dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas compris ou en tout cas qu'il existe car le village est très petit et les offres pour cette prestation sont très limitées. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un partenariat avec le restaurant d'à côté... Pour notre part nous avons acheté des gâteaux à la supérette pour le petit déj.

Beautiful location, room is more like a studio. Really clean, comfy and everything we needed. Would also recommend the heather restaurant just 2 mins walk away.

Laragh itself has no e-charger for anyone with e-car

The room was lovely, well appointed and spacious. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was perfect. The location is within walking distance of a pub and a fancy restaurant. Parking is available on site.

Heather House was an absolute delight..The staff, particularly Erika, were attentive and helpful. The furnishings were gorgeous- antiques also feeling fresh and bright. Such a pleasure.

Wir haben hier übernachtet, um fußläufig zu Glendalough zu sein. Dies ist sehr gut machbar, die Straße dorthin hat durchgehend einen Bürgersteig. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, wir hatten sehr großes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Garten. In der Unterkunft gibt es viele gemütliche Sitzecken und eine kleine Küche mit Kaffeemaschine. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die liebenswerte Empfangs Dame, die uns den Schlüssel zum Zimmer gegeben hat und das Haus gezeigt hat. Das gleichnamige Restaurant nebenan können wir für einen Drink oder das Abendessen ebenfalls empfehlen. Gefrühstückt haben wir dort nicht.

Da gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and the beds were perfect for a restful night’s sleep. There’s a beautifully maintained garden where you can relax (weather permitting). We hadn’t booked breakfast. The staff member who greeted us was very nice, attentive, and very friendly. A special thanks goes out to Erica :-). We highly recommend this place.

Sehr gute Lage, nah an den Sehenswürdigkeiten Das B&B ist an einer Hauptstraße, einige Zimmer liegen aber in der zweiten und dritten Reihe hinter der Straße und sind sehr ruhig. Nebenan ein gutes Restaurant das auch gutes Frühstück hat

Die Lage war super für Ausflüge im Wicklow Mountain National Park. Wir konnten das Auto einfach bei der Unterkunft stehen lassen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und bequem. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Es gibt eine kleine Teeküche für alle, mit Gemeinschaftskühlschrank, Besteck, Tellern und Wasserkocher.

Wonderful facilities, wonderful staff. We stayed here as we were walking the Wicklow Way, and it was an absolute treat.

Lage top. Wanderungen können direkt am Haus begonnen werden. Leckeres Pub und das Heather House Restaurant fußläufig erreichbar. Toller Garten mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Möglichkeit den Gemeinschaftskühlschrank zu nutzen ist ebenfalls toll.

Location da favola, vicinissima al sito di Glendalough. Il nostro cottage era adorabile, con un giardino da sogno immerso nella totale tranquillità. Erika é una persona accogliente e molto gentile, oltre che disponibile.

I had a great experience in Heather house. I've booked one night only to rest after a family trekking in the Lake, and I was impressed with the accommodation, staff cordiality and common areas. It's a relaxing place full of green and with a view to the mountains. The room was spacious giving slight privacy between the guests, with a small living room and walls hiding the beds. We were able to prepare my baby's food as it had microwave and fridge. The staff was lovely, super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for families.

Die Begrüssung durch die Besitzerin war äusserst herzlich. Sie hat uns in ihrem Namen auch gleich einen Tisch im nahen Restaurant reserviert. Hier wären wir gerne länger als nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise geblieben.

Die vielen Treppen bis zu unserem Apartment... - für Reisende mit Koffer doch sehr unbequem!

Frühstück wird nicht angeboten im Haus, jedoch kann man Tee oder Kaffee selber machen. ( coffee-, teamaking facility), und ein Kühlschrank zum Aufbewahren ist da. Frühstück kann im Nachbar Inn dazugebucht werden.

Der wunderschöne Garten hat uns sofort verzaubert! Die Betten sind fantastisch und wir wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Tolle Wanderungen direkt ab der Haustür möglich. Gegenüber gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und rechts oder links fußläufig sind zwei exzellente Pubs/Restaurants. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Weather was unusually warm, so I wish we had fan, but you wouldn’t need it any other time of year. That was not something that should be expected from Heather House.

Lovely location, room and grounds. Restaurant right next door is very convenient.

We had a suite and the shower in bathroom was tiny. We managed with the lack of space in the shower stall but a disclaimer should be added to the description that the bathroom won’t accommodate larger sized people. Also the garbage bins in the room are too small and they didn’t provide a sponge or soap to wash dishes at the sink. We had to improvise.

Het appartement is zeer comfortabel met alle voorzieningen die je kunt wensen of anders in de buurt te vinden zijn. Wij hadden een kamer in het hoofdgebouw. Er hoort geen ontbijt bij maar er was een keukentje waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Daar was serviesgoed, een koelkast, koffiezetapparaat en thee. Ertegenover is een winkeltje en vlakbij een goed restaurant en een prima pub met pubfood. Het ligt in een prachtige omgeving en heeft een mooie geaccidenteerde tuin met zitjes. Eigen parkeerplaats. De omgeving is schitterend voor wandelingen of om de Militairy Road R115 te rijden met bergen, meertjes en uitzichten. Je kunt smorgens voor de drukte uit beginnen met wandelen bij Glendalough.

It was so cute! Honestly, so much better than I expected and the staff was amazing.

Locatie in Glendalough midden in de Wicklow moutains. We hadden een aparte cottage in de tuin. de accomodatie is prachtig. Parking bij het gebouw en restaurant ernaast.

De trappen naar beneden. Ons verblijf lag lager in de tuin. Even wat gesleur met koffers. Dit is niet altijd zo. Er zijn ook kamers in het hoofdgebouw.

Die Lage der Unterkunft liegt ideal zum Wandern. Gegenüber hat es einen Supermarkt, eine Tankstelle und gleich daneben ein Pub mit leckerem Food. Wir waren im Gartenhaus untergebracht. Ein sehr grosszügiges Zimmer mit Küchezeile, Wohnzimmer und viel Platz. Der Garten lädt zum verweilen ein.

Die Rezeption scheint nicht immer besetzt zu sein - in dringenden Fällen schwierig.

Ontbijt niet inbegrepen. Ontbijten in het restaurant is prijzig. Tweede dag hebben we in het winkeltje aan de overkant zelf ontbijt gekocht. En op het terras buiten opgegeten. Ondanks het feit dat het zeer ruime kamers waren kon er geen extra bed op de kamer gezet worden voor onze tienerdochter. Onze kamers lagen ook niet naast elkaar zodat we met spullen heen en weer moesten lopen langs buiten . Eerst hadden we één kamer binnen en één kamer aan de achterkant buiten maar dat hebben we toch nog kunnen veranderen. Hoewel het niet ideaal bleef. We hadden nochtans lang op voorhand geboekt.
