Well kept pods and beautifully maintained site. The manager has thought of everything from fresh water taps along the path, to BBQ area, to a fully equipped kitchen. Also loved the location as you can do many walks straight from the site. Would highly recommend

Such a unique place! The cabins were so cute and equipped with everything we needed. The property itself was beautiful and everything was SO clean. Our host was welcoming. Would love to bring my family back one day!

Waking up in the morning and being able to sit with a cup of tea, using the kettle provided in the pod, while watching the sun come up over the beautiful scenery was honestly magical. It was one of those moments where you just sit there and think, this is exactly what a getaway should feel like. The whole place is incredible. We only stayed for one night and honestly wish we had booked three nights instead! We genuinely didn’t want to leave. We had the pleasure of meeting Patrick the owner the following morning, and he genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful. He was an absolute gentleman friendly, kind, welcoming and so accommodating. It’s clear that he really cares about his guests and wants everyone to have the best possible experience we can’t wait to go back

A very quiet location, beautifully set out and extremely well organised. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Our glamping pod was surprisingly spacious. We were warmly greeted and given useful information about the area. We enjoyed the presence of deer next to our pod.

Location was excellent. Beautiful setting with lots of trees and views of the mountain. Yet, a short walk to the village which ad a restaurant , pub and shop. Very clean. Pretty. Had everything you needed.

The mattress on the bed was very hard . That’s the only thing I could say bad.

The location is superb. Patrick, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The glamping pods are so cosy and in the most serene setting in the Wicklow mountains. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Wat een mooie plek ! De “pods” liggen verspreid over het gebied. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Overal is over nagedacht. Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar die veel informatie over de omgeving geeft.

The views were breathtaking and so peaceful. We ended our trip here in the Wicklow mountains before heading back to US. What a treat. Lovely pub only 5 minute walk.

Very quiet and relaxing with spotless showers and toilets.The host, Patrick, is a friendly, helpful person who ran around to get a jump starter for my motorcycle after the battery died. Couldn't recommend this wonderful place enough, we will be back for sure!!!

The views from our pod was incredible! Stayed for one night! room and terrace were perfect. cute and comfy layout. so much wildlife which was so lovely to see and hear at night also! 10/10 stay!

Lovely host! Thanks so much for your hospitality, Patrick! I had a short but wonderful stay. The location is absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed the peaceful quiet and visiting deer and rabbits around the site. The common kitchen is clean and well equipped. Shops are only a few minutes away. Best of both worlds. :) Highly recommend staying at Glendalough Glamping!

Toilets and showers can be seperate. A bench or extra storage in the shower would be handy.

Prachtige locatie midden in de natuur. Perfect voor Wicklow way wandelaars. Heel schoon. Heel goede Kookgelegenheid maar ook restaurantjes op 4 minuten lopen. Supermarktje op 5 min lopen.

Voor 1 nacht perfect. Wij zaten er vier nachten, dan wil je wel wat meer ruimte om je kleding neer te leggen of eens goed te zitten met een boek.

So happy to have stayed here! The whole set up is so lovely and peaceful, so many little details that show how much thought went into creating the place. Location also couldnt be better, a short stroll away from both Laragh and the Wicklow Way trail.

Owner Patrick was a pleasure to deal with. He has done an incredible job in creating such an amazing little place just outside of Laragah - walking distance to the cafe, pub, shops in Laragh village, but far enough out to have complete peace and quiet.

Sehr netter Chef der Patrick. Coole Übernachtungshütten mit allem was man so braucht. Tolle Lage, tolle Aussicht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The pods were immaculate, and the whole site was exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need. The heater inside the pod worked great, although we hardly needed it because the weather was gorgeous! It’s such a gorgeous place to stay and we’ll definitely be returning. Lynhams of Laragh is a lovely pub within walking distance and perfect for a delicious dinner.

Magnifique camping au coeur de la nature, la chambre est très confortable, le cadre est incroyable ! Les équipements du camping sont propres et bien pensés ! Super séjour, nous avons même pu observer des biches.

De pods waren netjes en nieuw, maar in verhouding hebben we erg veel geld betaald voor 1 nacht.

Had a nice unique stay glamping in Glendalough. The host and his wife were so friendly and had thought of all the little details in the cabins - even putting a little torch on the keys for night time! The facilities were very well set up - recommend!

The location is gorgeous, mountain views and sunset watching was amazing. Really peaceful stay. The owner was lovely and gave us some good advice. The showers are clean and well maintained which was really delightful. Check in was easy and quick. The cabin was super clean and had lovely blankets to keep us nice and cozy.

No real negatives to be honest, the shower head does spray widely so make sure you have moved your pants out the way otherwise they’ll get wet! But that’s not a real issue :)

De ligging is geweldig als je van natuur houdt. De kamers zijn zeer origineel en rust overheerst! Patrick en Merry zij heel fijne en vriendelijke hosts. Ik voelde me er helemaal thuis. Ook alles is echt superclean en verzorgd. De keuken is ook volledig uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt!

Ik heb voor 5 nachten €850 betaald wat wel aan de dure kant is. Als je direct via hun boekt is het wel goedkoper maar toch. Maar hun gastvrijheid heeft alles goed gemaakt.

Everything, the nature, the pods, the owners, the area. It’s perfect.

The surroundings were gorgeous and the pods very cosy, having everything you need ! Spacious kitchen and lots of supplies. A perfect stay in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by nature with deer all around! Thoroughly enjoyed getting away from the city and enjoying the quieter life at the pods. We didn’t have a car but it wasn’t an issue for us, we enjoyed Laragh and Glendalough by foot and the surrounding walks were perfect for us. Patrick is an exceptional host and we would love to come back !

There was nothing we didn’t like! It was all idyllic and we didn’t want to leave.

Room and cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very charming. Feels like you’re in North America. They provide tea, coffee and mugs so you can sit outside on the patio in the morning surrounded by wildlife and a morning chill. Great for stargazing too. I found myself appreciating how thoughtful the experience was a lot. Based off of the advertised photos, my expectations weren’t too high but when I got there my partner and I were pleasantly surprised and quickly fell in love with the place. Lovely restaurant, pub and shop down the road and of course the Wicklow mountains. Delighted with choosing this.

People tend to hog the bathroom just outside the cabins but the bathrooms at the entrance are always free.

Hillside pods with mountain views and neighboring sheep pastures make for a bucolic setting with just a 5 minute walk to café and restaurant offerings in Laragh. Staff are available to address questions/concerns and are incredibly forthcoming with recommendations for food, drink, and hiking trails.

Instructions regarding common spaces and site access were a bit long-winded. The shower facilities lack space to stash a change of clothes or other items, instead requiring that you leave things on the floor or counter, impeding other glampers intending to use the restroom.

We liked the fact we could use the kitchen to prepare meals and had our own dishes to us. Very clean spaces. The sleeping accommodations were nice.

For the number of people/pods that could be full, it was an insufficient number of bathrooms. Also walking a distance like that to use the bathroom or a shower was too far. They should incorporate at least one more bath house with toilets and showers. I’m used to more primitive camping and campgrounds and even they have more pit toilets per person ratio.

The facilities and property were very clean! Running water everywhere and the bathrooms and toilets were exceptional.

Maybe an extra pillow and thicker duvet as it was getting very cold in the night even with the rad on. Room was slightly dusty but overall clean.
