We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shannon Breeze. Phyll was a very welcoming and friendly hostess and the breakfasts were lovely , especially the free range eggs from her own chickens.

We were made to feel at home from the outset.

Very comfortable stay at this lovely BB. It’s our second stay . Spotlessly clean and a wonderful breakfast including fresh vegetables and fruit , homemade bread and full Irish with great coffee .Phyll the owner couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. She gave great advice re walks and places to visit . Best places to eat and for music too .

Phyll is lovely, major bonus being dog friendly!! Very clean room with ensuite most b&bs have shared bathrooms. Extremely comfortable beds. Fab location will definitely stay again.

Hosts were great! And loved the cows, chickens, ducks and puppy visible out the window while still being on a main road. Easy cab into town...

Die Eigentümerin, die sehr, sehr gut deutsch spricht, hat die ansonsten schlichte Einrichtung wettgemacht, vor allem da sie sich auch gut mit den politischen und wirtschaftlichen Verhältnisssen in Irland auskannte. Die Lage des B & B ist sehr ruhig und obwohl nahe an einer Straße gelegen hörte man diese nicht. Das Frühstück war, wie immer in Irland, sehr reichhaltig und gut.

Man musste am Abend vorher schon entscheiden, was man am anderen Morgen zum Frühstück möchte. Dies ist wahrscheinlich daran gelegen, weil die Eigentümerin alles alleine machen muss. Dass man auch angeben musste, wann man zum Frühstück zwischen 8 Uhr und 9.30 Uhr erscheint, ist sicher zu vernachlässigen. Aber wieso die Unterkunft mit 4 Sternen geratet ist, ist ein noch unentdecktes und noch zu lüftendes Geheimnis -:) Der Monitor im Zimmer ist winzig und unerklärlicher- und überflüssigerweise außerdem viel zu hoch angebracht.

la acogida que hemos tenido por su propietaria y su buena atencion hacia nosotros. su ubicacion esta muy buen para poder desplazarse a todos las localidades que hay a su alrededor ,kilalloe- shannon , limerik etc no nos ha faltado de nada durante la estancia , la habitacion muy correcta y su cocina para poder hacernos la comida tabien ha estado perfecta .

Lovely warm welcome. We had a really nice large comfortable room. Loved the dining room decor and the breakfast was great.

We were made very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious and really set us up for each day. The room was comfortable and very clean. It was lovely to meet both Phyll and Catherine, and we were given some really helpful suggestions about places to visit.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Shannon Breeze B&B is a wonderful, cosy and welcoming accommodation in beautiful Tipperary. I was travelling with my dad to visit family in Nenagh. The B&B is a 2 minute drive from Ballina & Killaloe. Phyl couldn't have been more welcoming and was in touch with me before arrival to make sure she'd be around to show us everything. We arrived quite late but she was happy to come up and meet us, and even took a breakfast order for the following morning. The breakfast was beautiful, and the eggs are from Phyl's hens on the property, plus a lot of her home grown fruit and veg is included, she make her own marmalade etc. Everything was lovely. She gave us loads of suggestions on things to do in the local area and nice restaurants to visit, local walks to go on, details of the Sunday market etc, and she took the time to chat at breakfast even though she was busy cooking. She always stopped to chat when she saw us. Her B&B has such a homely feel thanks to her warmth and kindness. The rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm back in Tipperary. As it was May, there were beautiful housemartins nesting above our window and feeding their young in the nest, it was absolutely lovely to watch! I also loved meeting Phyl's little rescued Jack Russell!

There was nothing I didn't like, this accommodation is wonderful.

Chambre ne disposant pas d'une vue sur la montagne, seulement sur le parking et une pelouse. Pas de coin cuisine mis à disposition comme annoncé dans l'annonce. Eau du robinet non potable, était ce temporaire ?

Very friendly owner, large clean room, and good breakfast, quite location and highly recommended guesthouse.

The place was clean and easy to find.

The WiFi was very poor, don't rely on it if you need to do anything meaningful. The walls are thin. I could hear snores etc from another room. And conversations from downstairs. I'm glad I had earplugs.

Host was really kind and accommodating. Bed was comfortable, shower was excellent.

You need a car or taxi, which we had which is fine, you can walk to Killaloe if you like walking but bear in mind it's a country road with no footpaths.

Phill is extremely friendly and was very helpful with recommendations concerning activities. Bedroom with a view over the countryside with cows. The breakfast was freshly cooked and provided a superb start to the day.

There was a dreadful smell in one of the two rooms allocated to us. Received a phone call earlier in the day to say the host would not be there as they were attending a function and we should just let ourselves in. There was nobody therefore there to discuss the issues with. The internal walls were not soundproofed and we could clearly hear a loud argument in an adjoining room The rooms were unbelievably warm despite the windows being wide open The beds were very old and uncomfortable The booking was non refundable so we just left and found alternative accommodation at an extra cost late at night nearby

there could be a dressing table in the room especially for when you want to put your makeup on, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about

Lovely spacious room and bathroom with very comfortable bed..The shower is a good size with great power. Friendly staff ,plenty of parking. Wonderful breakfast with homemade marmalade and organic eggs from hosts own hens! Lovely location close to killaloe.

A lovely warm welcome from our host. A lovely b&b. Room was bright, clean and comfortable. Special thanks for facilitating an early breakfast as I was going to Nenagh to run a half marathon. A nice touch to go out of their way for us.

The hostesses were very kind and flexible, we slept very well, and the breakfast was delicious. The house and rooms are lovely, and though the address was a bit difficult to find, it was very calm and resourcing.

Shannon was absolutely amazing!!! She made the place feel like home, the room was exceptionally clean, warm and cozy, no complaints whatsoever. A massive thank you to her and her partner John for going the extra mile and dropping me off in Limerick for my race. I really appreciate all their efforts, would highly recommend, thanks again ✨

The host Phyll was friendly and helpful. Room was immaculately clean. B&b appears to have undergone renovations so rooms are more modern than on their website. Clean , crisp and fresh bedding and pillows . There was an extra blanket and heater in the room if you needed. Tea and coffee station with kettle and biscuits in the room. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this B & b and I would certainly stay again.

Phyll, the host, was lovely and attentive. She went above and beyond to make our stay homely and comfortable. The breakfast was high quality and delicious. The rooms were comfy and had everything we needed. Plenty of parking and good location, only a couple of minutes drive into Ballina.

Lady of the house was lovely & welcoming, Our stay was v nice & we were served a most wonderful breakfast... Only issue was, the room was cold & we could not get the radiator to work..

Lokacija je super i osoblje je ugodno. Soba je bila uredna ali krevet raskliman, skripi, deka stara 20+godina, a slavina u kupatilu stara, sa dvije pipe odvojeno za vrucu i hladnu vodu...malo sve treba update.
