Lage, Personal, Restaurant, Komfort im Zimmer

Leider haben wir ein intensiviertes älteres Zimmer erwischt. Womöglich wurde es auch zuvor längere Zeit nicht vergeben, da wir im Bad Spinnengewebe zwischen den shampooflaschen hatten und sich Motten im Handtuch befanden.

Bed very comfortable, breakfast was lovely , staff were very friendly .

We stayed one night. It was comfortable and the staff were both helpful and friendly. We didn't take breakfast. It was a bit expensive and we only wanted a cup of coffee and a croisant.

The bed was very untidly made Quilt cover not in place Also a smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom. Weerenot smo,ers so found that uncomfortable

Good location alongside the lake, but no access to it. Our first room was dull and dingy and after complaining the second room was smaller but with a walk-in shower and a better view of the lake!

All of the hotel was was in dire need of a complete up-dating and a decent paint job Both rooms only had low level lighting which meant the that they were dull & gingy. Our new room the walk-in shower and basin drain blocked. All in All Very disappointing!

Food and parking

Our room was very dark and in the basement. I had to ask for a lead extension so I could reach a mirror with the hairdryer. Another light was also requested. Our friends were disturbed during the night (2am) by wedding celebrations.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, helpful booking in staff, good room with excellent view. Lovely setting.

Not enough staff in the restaurant, lots of people standing waiting. Rain curtains from collapsed guttering.

Great location, very clean spa was fantastic .

Breakfast was very good, ordered and served at our table instead of the buffet style. There was plenty of choice on the menu, excellent.

There was no bar lounge area, instead seating was at the tables used for food. There seemed to lots of spaces in the hotel that could have been utilised as a relaxing lounge.

Location, food at dinner was good, free car park.

Room was “tired” dripping cold tap, shower screen on bath wasn’t sealed properly so using shower flooded bathroom floor. Condensation inside windows obviously ongoing as window frames were rotting.

Wasnt happy with fire alarm goung off at 6 in the morning and told it was a fire drill ...at that hour ? A fire drill should be done during the day and not at 6 on a Sunday morning

The location is good for day trips. The property was beautiful. The morning breakfast staff were very friendly. The breakfast selection was delicious and room service is available for all meals.

Our room smelled damp. The heater in our room did not work and it took them three days to give us a portable heater. We came back two times after being away for the day and the cleaning staff left our door unlocked. When we booked we were advised the spa services (one of the reasons we booked here) would be closed for the first two days of our trip. When we arrived they said the spa services were closed indefinitely. When I asked about a refund for lack of services, I was told they put it on their website and were not liable. I had not reviewed the website AFTER booking.

Hotel could do with some maintenance.. a littke tired looking. Eg taps not having the tops on them. Grouting needs replacing. Toilet was wobbly. Wall plug hanging off wall, only lamps in rooms no ceiling lights so very dim. There are no spa treatments available and we were looking forward to booking these as part of our trip., there was limited thermal spa access on weekends only. These are all so easily fixed. Otherwise a great place

Lovely walk from hotel into Killaloe. Room was large and clean, lots of toiletries.

This town is a gem - beautiful. Place is ok too. Clean etc breakfast was good, staff were accommodating for our baby.

The spa isn’t open and they only called us to tell us that after I paid. It seems like it’s closed for a while too which should be put online when booking.

Hotel &SPA ? Der SPA-Bereich war geschlossen; dies war bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich; Handtücher waren für 1 Person vorhanden, obwohl wir 3 Personen waren;

The hotel is conveniently located with an excellent view over the harbour. The food was of a high standard with plenty choice. The staff were helpful and friendly.

My wife and I were disappointed to find several dark stains on the bedroom carpet which we reported to reception. An area of carpet was threadbare and appeared to have been badly damaged by acid or a similar corrosive substance. Overall, the hotel looked 'tired'.

Posizione al di fuori dai soliti giri turistici. Tranquillità del luogo e della struttura. Personale cordiale e disponibile. La struttura è pulita anche se datata. Colazione varia e abbondante con diverse scelte sia per il salato che il dolce. La stanza (102) pur essendo una standard è risultata spaziosa, accogliente e silenziosa. In conclusione posso affermare che il soggiorno è stato piacevole.

I mobili della stanza sono evidentemente datati e l'usura è evidente. Il bagno è di dimensioni adeguate ma la rubinetteria risale a qualche decina di anni fa... non sono presenti miscelatori ma rubinetti singoli per acqua calda e acqua fredda. La vasca che incorpora anche la doccia ha evidenti perdite che bagnano il pavimento. La Direzione dovrebbe considerare un ammodernamento. Il prezzo pagato per lo standard è un pò troppo elevato.

Nice breakfast & staff were very friendly.

We booked a Deluxe room with a terrace. The room was absolutely terrible. Mould on the bathroom ceiling. Really out dated and dirty. Certainly not remotely a 4 star facility by any stretch of the imagination. We complained & were allowed to choose another room, which was a bit better. The receptionist was lovely and helpful. The hotel needs upgrading and a good cleaning.

All meals were great. Location was wonderful but you need a car to see the sights and go to the nearby towns. Staff were all great. Parking was very convenient.

Room was hot - no aircon, and badly lit - side lamps only, no refrigerator. Limited availability rooms with separate shower. Bathroom - limited shelving, no towel rails. No mixer tap. Floor and some grout appeared dirty. Web site photos give the impression that the apartments on either side are part of the hotel complex.

Great location, beautiful setting beside the lake. Room on ground floor was quiet, clean and comfortable. We had lunch and breakfast and the food was good. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Bit expensive for one night but we enjoyed our stay overall.

Það er greinilega ekkert viðhald á staðnum, fátt starfsfólk, of dýrt miðað við gæði, hótelið auglýst sem spa hótel en spa var lokað vegna viðhalds og þess ekki getið við bókun. Engin lyfta til að fara með farangur milli hæða. Þetta hótel er aldrei meira en 3 stjörnur.
