Our hosts were extremely kind friendly and helpful to assist us in organizing our bus trips, the breakfast was delicious (and very local!), and the bedroom was clean with a working AC. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly ik the middle of Dambulla which means you are a 2min wlak away from a bus stop, food around is great (albeit on the lankan expensive side due to then being full on restaurant), and you have a lot of banks if you need to draw cash.

Bathroom floor is extremely slippery but this is a non issue for careful people 😁

Eine sehr nette Dame und eine sehr gepflegte Unterkunft und schöne Natur hinterm Haus. 2min zu Fuß und man ist direkt in der Stadt wo zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bestehen.

Fantastic hotel! Dambulla is a bustling city and the main road is as busy as they come. 100m down a side road and you are in a completely different environment! It's calm and quiet.. the hotel is lovely and the main house where you are greeted is old and cool. The hosts are welcoming and you feel like you are home. The room is great - a small kitchenette with fridge, lovely bathroom and very comfy bed. Seating outside and a nice outlook.

Dambulla Rock Arch is a great family run guesthouse. It is right in the middle of Dambulla town, but up a driveway so it is away from the noise of the main town. Each room has its own balcony to sit out on of an evening looking into the quiet gardens surrounding the main home. The rooms are all the same, all big and airy, comfortable beds, very clean, great hot water shower, large bathroom. Rooms come with a sitting area inside also and a small kitchenette to make tea and coffee with a small fridge. The breakfasts are generous and slightly different each morning. There are a few restaurants nearby for dinner and lunch. Restaurant 11 (a take on 7/11) across the road is pretty good. Very friendly hosts, highly recommend this guesthouse.

The place is great. The hosts are super nice. The room was very spacious and even has a little extra corner with a kitchentop and sink, which is very convenient. They have their own taxi, so it is very easy to go around. They charge about the same price as a regular on Pickme. Off course they can also arrange a Tuktuk if prefer that. The location is nice and quiet. Just a short distance of the main road. It is easy to visit Sigiriya rock. About 20-30 minutes by car. And when you stay in Dambulla, don't forgot to visit the Habarana Cultural show. Worth every penny !! The garden is nice and squirels are running around in the trees, really nice and relaxing atmosphere ATM from HBN bank (which is the best bank for foreign bank cards) is on only a few minutes walking distance. Within a few minutes walking there is also a supermarket, some restaurants and various other shops. So this is really the best place to stay in Dambulla.

It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was prompt and they understood our dietary needs and arranged accordingly. The old aunty is very sweet.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The exterior of the building is especially beautiful and stylish it immediately gives a great first impression and has a unique charm that stands out. Breakfast also fantastic. I should have requested smaller portion and preference to avoid food waste.

早餐比较精致丰富。地理位置优越，距离主路步行2分钟，主路就有超市，餐厅，公交车站，非常方便。

・シーギリヤ、石窟寺院、キャンディへのバスストップ、スーパー(２階でビールも買える)、食堂へ至近距離でありながら、一歩路地に入るためすごく静かで快適。 ・冷蔵庫、食器も用意してあり、ビール飲みながら部屋食が出来る。 ・１階の部屋(Double room)は前庭、専用裏庭があり、鳥のさえずりを聞きながらの休息、衣服を裏庭に干すことも出来た。 ・全体で４部屋だけでプライベート感がある。 ・女性オーナー、娘婿ともいろいろお話、アドバイスくれます。

・特に良くない点は無いが、施設自体はアジアの地方にあるHotelのイメージを持っていったほうがいいと思います(シャワールームに仕切りカーテン無、薄手のブランケットなど)。

Dobra lokalizacja, środek miejscowości, ale obiekt oddalony od głównej drogi. Smaczne śniadanie, duży pokój.

Akurat w nocy, którą tam spędzaliśmy, było bardzo głośni, trwała jakaś impreza w mieście, nie wyspaliśmy się. Brak możliwości płacenia kartą.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte hier. Unterkunft ist familiengeführt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich, man kann sich super mit ihr unterhalten. Die Betten im Zimmer waren bequem. Da die Unterkunft nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt, ist es auch ruhig, sodass man gut schlafen kann. Frühstück hat uns gut geschmeckt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

ダンブッラのバスステーションに近く（キャンディに向かうバスがすぐ近くなのがうれしい）、周囲にクオリティの高いお店やスーパーもあるので快適に過ごしやすかった。オーナー家族がとても親切なのがありがたかった。

部屋の鍵をかけるのが大分コツがいりました。

To spoil an otherwise excellent stay, one of the family, a guy who arranges transport, booked me a car for a trip I didn't ask for. I arrived for breakfast at the usual time 8am but was confronted with "... your driver is here, he's been waiting since 6.30am". I was totally confused and went out to see the driver along with the guy who'd booked him. I told the driver that I hadn't booked this trip ... the transport guy said "But he's cancelled all his other trips today so he can drive you, it's 15,000 rupees, I didn't have your phone number". Long story short, I gave the driver 5,000 as he may have been conned into taking me on a trip. The experience was a bad reflection on this property and the other family members who run the business as they are all very nice, very helpful, and try their best to provide a very nice and comfortable stay ... pity.

Schöne große Zimmer mit hübschen Balkonen. Obwohl sehr zentral in Dambulla gelegen, ist es herrlich ruhig gewesen und nur die Natur war zu hören, was ich persönlich sehr genossen habe. Die Besitzer, ein älteres, sehr freundliches Ehepaar, können Kontakt zu einem Fahrer und der Organisation verschiedener Touren herstellen. Ich persönlich habe das nicht benötigt, da die Bushaltestellen quasi direkt vor der Haustüre lagen und ich so gut auf die lokalen Busverbindungen zurückgreifen und alle Touren alleine organisieren konnte. Es gab ein sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück:)

Ich hätte mir mehr Sauberkeit gewünscht und ein weniger aktives Bewerben des Fahrers und der Touren.

一对老夫妻经营的民宿，房间干净整洁，卫生间很大，热水很足，民宿闹中取静，绿意盎然，有个室外阳台，大大的院子种了很多果树，房东很健谈帮我们叫了车去狮子岩，出去就是公交站可以去任何地方，门口有家面包店很好吃也提供本地快餐食物价格实惠！可惜我们没有预定早餐，民宿早餐看样子也很不错😊😊😊

L'hotel è in centro, leggermene rientrato rispetto alla strada principale: questo ha assicurato di poter raggiungere i ristorantini vicino ma al tempo stesso di essere fuori dal rumore e dal traffico. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con una tazza fumante di te e una cortesia straordinaria! La struttura è tenuta benissimo, molto pulita e la camera grande, con un bel balcone affacciato sul giardino privato. Abbiamo passato 2 notti, e abbiamo riposato divinamente; la colazione abbondante e veramente buona, senza cibi piccanti ;) Super consigliato: è bello svegliarsi la mattina e trovare persone sorridenti!!!

Ottima posizione, vicino alla stazione quindi comodo sia per arrivi/partenze. Proprietario e staff gentilissimi,cordiali e molto disponibili, oltre che affabili e amichevoli. Colazione abbondante e generosa! Camera da letto molto confortevole, ben arredata e spaziosa, così come il bango. Letto grandissimo e comodo! In sintesi: SUPER

What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.

La struttura è gestita da una famiglia splendida. Amma, Marito e figli sono davvero delle persone accoglienti e molto disponibili, si sono adoperati a risolvere qualsiasi nostro inconveniente e a fornirci innumerevoli consigli. In più, consiglio vivamente di affidarsi al loro driver, Susa, una persona molto premurosa.

Excellent séjour de 2 nuits. Hôtes très accueillants, nous ont servi un thé. Grande chambre avec frigo et balcon. Un des gérants de l’hôtel nous a proposé d’être notre taxi pour une matinée avec sa voiture. Très gentil et nous apporte des explications sur les visites. Vigilance sur le jardin botanique Prince Villa qui nous a été proposé pour la visite… attrape touriste.

The hotel was not so clean, blankets at first were so dirty: we asked to change them and they did, but the new ones were not so better. Moreover you can not pay with card.

Das Dambulla Rock Arch ist ein ganz tolles familiengeführtes Hotel im Herzen vom nicht ganz so touristischen Dambulla. Die Eigentümerin und auch alle anderen sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und das Badezimmer sehr modern. Glutenfreies Frühstück war auf Anfrage möglich und es wurden mir extra glutenfreie Speisen zubereitet. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Absolutely excellent room and service as well. Location was perfect and close to shops and tourist attractions. Very quiet as off the main road. The hosts were super kind and welcoming!
