La camera grande e il letto comodo

La descrizione della stanza non è per niente come viene descritta su internet, avevo prenotato una camera con balcone e vista montagna e mi sono ritrovata una stanza con un piccolo terrazzino che affacciava sulla strada, e si sentivano tutti i rumori , la vista montagna non esiste in questo ostello!! Il bagno un po' sporco, per il resto la camera era carina

De locatie zat op een ideale plek. Restaurantjes en winkels waren aan de overkant. Verder was het schoon en netjes.

De bedden waren enorm hard. Verder werd de hele avond best wel luide muziek afgespeeld in de lobby.

The stuff was really nice and helpful, especially around the Ha Giang loop we had thought of what to do so much and the guy there helped us with so much patience and also came to the police stop when they stopped us the first day :) (they let us go, don’t worry) And when we returned they also helped us with bus ride and Taxi The bed in the room was good But that’s all I actually liked about the place

Overall I think this is the standard in Ha Giang. Basic hostels, not something special and not that clean.The private room wasn’t clean enough, generally not a clean vibe. We paid 13$ which feels too much in my opinion, especially compering to another place we went to on another night which was much much better in the same price. Over all a basic ok place to come to before the Loop. But don’t expect much. About the loop- a basic level of home stays , two nice places but the 2nd night was in a room without a window which for me is a big no no, it was humid and felt bad. Different stops for food, some good and some really not (and it’s the first time I had food in Vietnam which I didn’t like!) Apparently this is the basic everyone’s level of this Loop, but maybe some takes you to better places. The drivers of the group were super nice and helpful so again, human wise - beautiful people Hostel and home stays level - can be improved

バスターミナルからは２〜3キロ離れているので、機動性重視の方には向かないと思う。

The staff is very helpful and friendly, they facilitate everything on their power to make you feel welcome. I also did the Ha Giang loop tour for 2D1N and my rider Tuang was a very good driver, very experienced and a bit of daredevil, so if you are into tourism adventure you will definitely have fun riding with him, full of adrenaline! Also my group leader Hoan was very friendly and gave us a tour and intro in English of the places we visited, very good English speaker and listened to all our requests. I recommend both drivers.

The hostel facilities are ok for the price, beds are a bit uncomfortable and the keys from lockers can open more than one locker. Apart from that all good. Also the Homestay in Don vang has beautiful views but the beds are mattress in the floor and since it is deep in nature. There were some bugs and I got an allergic reaction ( nothing serious but I'm not allergic normally to anything). Also make sure to check if you have a private room or a dorm in the Homestay, I got the wrong impression that I was supposed to have a private room but ended up sleeping in a communal room. Avoid nuances.

Everything was perfect! We did the loop with them and it was amazing. Best experience to do in Vietnam! The drivers are so cool and kind!

The room was big and nice

The address was wrong on booking and they didn’t tell us that so we arrived to the wrong location and then someone there told us the new address that was 10 minutes walk from there. Was very upsetting because we were with big baggage and took a taxi especially for it. We arrived in 11pm and we found out that our room was not clean!! So we needed to wait an half hour for them to clean our room. Overall very bad experience but the room was big and nice .

The hostel is good situated.

The room was directly on the Main Street in Ha Giang. We had a big hole in the door of the balcony, so it was very noisy. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected and very wet when we arrived.

About the hostel: The best thing about it is Tao, the hostel manager - she is super helpful and has wonderful communication skills. But there is just so much one person can do. About the Safari Loop Tour: The price was very affordable, I enjoyed the option to get a private room for just 50K more per night, and the food was good. I'm glad we made it back in one piece

I did not feel safe enough during the tour. My first impression was terrible - we had no debriefing before starting the tour, nobody talked to us about safety or itinerary or anything - we were told to put on helmets and then we just left. I had trouble fitting mine above my wool hat but nobody helped me. 10 minutes into starting the ride one of the easy-riders needed to be replaced with no explanation. The girl he was driving said she had the impression he was hung-over since he bumped into someone shortly after they started riding. That of course made me even more anxious than I was. Unfortunately throughout the trip, communication and organization were poor. Some of the driving felt reckless and too fast. On the last day one of the easy riders and his passenger had a minor accident - fortunately nothing serious happened to them, but it was frightening. It seemed some of the easy-riders were too young and inexperienced. However, I must say - they were incredibly kind and sweet so I appreciate them on a personal level. My personal easy-rider was the best of them. The motorcycles also did not seem high quality - All the speed meters (and some of the mirrors) were broken, and there was not enough shock absorption and padding. My body ached at the end of the trip. I had the impression that other tours were better - they had uniforms, I heard them communicate better, better itineraries and some of them had better protective gear also. The accommodations for the tour were not great, especially due to lack of heating in freezing weather. The Safari hostel itself was disappointing - the bed in the dorm was so uncomfortable I could not sleep, and the sheets did not look clean. The private room was a bit better but very noisy and poor shower. I chose this tour because I wanted a non-party tour with a small group size that was within my budget.

The Safari Hostel offers one of the most affordable options for the Ha Giang Loop, which is a great deal for budget travelers. A notable perk is that if you book the loop tour with them, you can stay at their hostel for free—a nice bonus. However, during our stay, we observed some issues with cleanliness. As we were taking a later bus to Dong Van, we had the chance to see the cleaning process. The staff member responsible for preparing the rooms did not appear to change the sheets fully. Instead, she brushed the sheets with a mop-like tool and only stripped the pillowcases, while the quilts were taken out and seemingly returned without being replaced. While the hostel provides a decent base for the Ha Giang Loop and is budget-friendly, cleanliness might be a concern for some travelers. If you're comfortable with potentially reused bedding, this could still be a good option for the price and the experience they offer.

We didn’t stay at the hostel but we did go on the 4 day Ha Giang Loop with the Safari crew led by Nam, a young, capable, fun man. We rode with amazing, confident easy riders. It definitely was a highlight of my entire life. I highly recommend this company. Small tour groups, awesome homestays, it was incredible. Thank you!

The staff was super kind and helpful, super professional. Helped us plan our loop tour, store our luggage etc. Perfect for travellers going on the HaGiang loop.

Hostel is in the centre and room looked beautiful

The shower is in front of the toilet, so once you shower everything is super wet and you can't go with dry feet to the toilet anymore. We also had a huge cockroache in the room. Prices we got online in a message for doing the Ha Giang loop were more expensive than the advertisement on their own door?!

I loved my time in Safari hostel. It was an excellent value for money. I loved the people there ans it was sparkling clean and very comfy & convenient. Highly recommend.

The owner is such a lovely, beautiful person, the hostel itself offers an amazing tour, and has great facilities. The tour guides were also such lovely people, and they even gave us a partial refund because we cut our tour short, because of the super typhoon. Had the best time drinking happy water and all the homestays were amazing (with sum cute cats as well). Can't recommend enough. Cheers

Wonderful time, this hostel offers the perfect combo to enjoy the Ha Giang Loop, I booked the 3 days 2 nights tour and I had the best time really. Great guides, super careful and caring, they make everything as smooth and easy as possible. Amazing adventure! Because I booked a tour I had my night at the hostel for free and they took care of booking my return trip as well. Bonus... if you make a post on IG mentionning the hostel you get 50% off your bus ticket which is a pretty good deal tbf. Shout out to Hoan, Nam and Twin ! Definitely recommend =)

I'm so glad I stayed with Safari and did the loop tour with them! I had so much fun and the group was only 6 people so it was really nice to get to know everyone on a personal level. The staff here are also very nice and helpful, they also helped me book the bus to cao bang. Thank you safari!

The Loop, the Drivers, everything was just awesome;)

I stayed at Safari in June and booked the loop tour with them, driving myself. On the first day, we couldn't leave due to rain, so we started the following day despite a terrible weather forecast. The staff ensured we could do the loop safely, and I really appreciate this. And to our surprise, we had amazing weather! The group was small (just 3 people), which I preferred as I wasn't looking for a party tour. We LOVED the loop, and the guys were fantastic, always making sure we were happy. The hostel is also nice, offering breakfast, and the staff are very kind. Thanks, Hoan and Hoàn, for being the best guides!

We can't review the Safari hostel itself. We are not sure if they were overbooked or what happened. But they took us to another hostel a few buildings down the street. Here the beds were not the cleanest. It was too warm. And after seeing the showers we decided not to use them.. We didn't really get any respons when asking/complaining what happened. Overall very poor experience.

Absolutely nothing!

I couldn’t sleep till 2am because stuff who work in kitchen played tick tock videos in the room! I gave them to was my clothes and said to do gently,they put in dryer and destroyed completely my expensive mammut tshirts and pants!

The beds were nice.

The bathroom not very clean and not enough we had to wait for other people to finish showering especially that everyday there’s a new group that are done with the loop so it gets packed with people and waiting longer for shower.

Water stop tuningové without any notice and it took ages to repair it.

the staff was THE NICEST ever! They helped us so much with buses and any questions. We booked the tour (3d2n) with them and I loved because we were a small group of just 9 people, which made it really comfortable. The drivers were tje funniest and most caring and I felt supee safe riding with them.

THà Gang Loop was amazing, I can only recommend it. The hostel is great, and the people who work there are very nice and willing to help you out. The beds on the second floor are great. It was nice to sleep with a real blanket for once-in-a-while.

It could be a bit cleaner, and there is a big difference between the second and third floor dorms. The second floor dorm I stayed in one night before the Hà Giang Loop was great. The third floor dorm I stayed in after the Hà Giang Loop was a big downgrade to the one before. The hostel still gets a 9 because I stayed there only for the Hà Giang Loop tour and the tour was a 10/10.

The prices here very cheap. They offered me a free night stay as I booked the Ha Giang loop with them. The rooms were not very great but for a price like this I don't think you can get anything better than this. Also, the host was very sweet and their hospitality was very good. She always had a big smile while greeting their guests.

The mattresses were spotty. The lockers have their own keys, which is good, however my key could open other lockers as well, so this is a safety risk.

We celebrated Lunar new year here - bunch of travelers got stuck In Ha giang… the stuff organized dinner for everyone and joined us in the city to watch fireworks - such a humble experience. Therefore I recommend it to everyone!

I liked that it was a social hostel, not party, just social. It was well located and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was good, hot water, and breakfast kind of average in Vietnam, egg and bread or similar. Also, the tours for the Ha Giang loop looked pretty good (I didn't take any but people was coming back happy and satisfied). For the bus to Sapa they take you to the bus station, so it was great as well.

Location is perfect. Price is the best in Ha Giang (so cheap) and also the room and the bathroom were clean. Tao helped us a lot with the Ha Giang Loop and she gave us great advices, she is so kind and helpful. We did not have breakfast (which is included) because we were leaving really early in the morning but I've seen they have many options.

I asked for a cup of hot water to a guy from the staff (of course I would have paid for that) and he rudely said "no" but the rest of the staff is so nice.

All was perfect!

Beds were comfy, breakfast was tasty and checkin was easy. Booked a 4D3N motorcycle tour with them and it was by far the best time I had in Vietnam. I strongly recommend. The drivers are good and experienced: they brought us to amazing homestays, the food was amazing. And the views of course, breathtaking. Thank you for everything!

Great staff with lots of tips for the Ha Giang Loop. I didn't do the tour with them and just rented a motorbike for 6 days. It was a great bike for a fair price!

This was the best hostel ever ♥️ they were so helpful and nice with us. We tried to do the loop on our own but I really suggest to take part of a group that they organise, trust me... We had a looot of troubles with accomodations, restaurants and the street. They also helped us to find a bus to Sa Pa. Thank you so much for everything, guys! 🙏
