Stunning view from our bedroom. Nice and new facility. Quality with lots of attention to detail! The host also making our stay enjoyable, they are so nice and friendly. Their breakfast is top notch and better than many hotels we stay. We felt like home! If you want to travel to Hallstatt I recommend to stay here in Obertraun and you can take little boat ride with great view at 12eur/ person , return at 20euro. And stay in Obertraun for day trip. We went for a biking around the town and that's really superb!

התאהבנו במקום הזה ממבט ראשון. החדר עוצב בצורה כזו שהרגשנו רגועים ונוחים. יכולנו לראות ציורי טבע בחלונות, שהתחלפו כל יום, והפכו יפים יותר מהקודם. החדרים היו נקיים מאוד; הם נוקו כל יומיים והמגבות הוחלפו. המקלחות היו מצוידות היטב בכל מוצרי הטיפוח הדרושים, שחשבו בקפידה עד לפרטים האחרונים. היה חדר אוכל בקומה שלנו, ובמהלך היום יכולנו להכין קפה איכותי ממכונת הקפה וליהנות מעוגיות טעימות, חלקן תוצרת בית. ארוחות הבוקר היו טעימות, כולל מבחר רחב של יוגורטים, גבינות, בשרים מעדנייה, ירקות עונתיים, מאפים טריים ופירות מהגינה. מארק וג'ני, הבעלים, הם אנשים נפלאים שעשו הכל כדי להפוך את שהותנו למהנה ככל האפשר. המיקום שקט ויפה, ומציע הזדמנויות מצוינות לטיולים בטבע לאגמים, הרים, יערות ועיירות קטנות ומקסימות. למרות שתחנת הרכבת נמצאת חמש דקות מהבית, מומלץ להשתמש ברכב. רוב האטרקציות המפורטות נמצאות במרחק של 20 דקות עד שעה נסיעה. נהנינו מאוד משהותנו ומקווים לחזור בעתיד. תודה ענקית למארחים!

La vue fabuleuse sur le lac, la plage est 5mn à pied. Le calme et la quiétude du village. Le merveilleux petit déjeuner complet, muffins faits maison par Jane. Tous les conseils avisés de Mark pour les balades à faire, les restaurants, les visites des environs. Un séjour reposant inoubliable !

Fangen wir mit den Gastgebern - Jane und Mark - an: besser geht nicht. Total nett und hilfsbereit ! Wir kamen aufgrund des Wetters (Motorrad) einen Tag später an - kein Problem. Dann wollten wir noch eine Nacht länger bleiben (Wetter...) -kein Problem. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, viele frische Sachen, gutes Brot und auch Käse und Schinken. Die Sicht vom Balkon auf den See - grandios ! Ach ja, und die Katze :-)

Não ter AC . Estive hospedado durante uma vaga de calor anómala e o quarto era super quente e nem a janela aberta ajudava a refrescar.

Meget venligt værtspar og dejlig beliggenhed. Rigtig god morgenmad. Pæn og rent værelse, som var gjort ekstra hyggeligt med pynteting mm.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet -es gab einen Frühstücksraum mit herrlicher Aussich wo man sich auch tagsüber aufhalten konnte .Dbei war der Kaffee kostenlos u.es gab gekühlte Getränke zu fairen Preisen.Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich,nett und höflich .

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Przesympatyczni gospodarze. Cudowny widok z okna, bardzo czysty pokój. Dostępny garaż na rowery i możliwość ładowania. Polecam.

In addition to breakfast, the hotel offered coffee or tea with homemade cookies 24 hours a day, and a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks was available for an additional fee.

Cudowni właściciele i Ich gościnność. Smaczne śniadania w jadalni z widokiem na jezioro. Super lokalizacja ( polecamy spacery nad jezioro). Parking. Kawa i herbata dostępne 24h/ dobę. Pięknie urządzone pokoje.

Exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts who were very accommodating with our late arrival. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered stunning views of the mountains and the lake. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious homemade cakes. Convenient parking is available directly at the property, which is also just a short walk from both the lake and the train station. Everything was perfect.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons très bien été accueillis, les hôtes sont attentionnés. Magnifique vue sur le lac, délicieux déjeuner, bonne localisation. Machine à café et thé disponibles dans le salon commun/salle à manger. Nous recommandons cet établissement!

Il pourrait avoir un peu plus de surface pour déposer les valises ou nourriture achetée à l’extérieur.

מארק וגיין אנשים מקסימים, נתנו לנו טיפים של אלופים. המליצו על מסעדה מצויינת (הזהירו אותנו מראש שהיא קצת יקרה אבל שווה ברמות) המליצו על התצפית המדהימה ( ושצריך ללכת קצת ברגל) וכמובן המליצו על מסלול ההליכה לאורך האגם. המיקום מצויין.

חסר מזגן, אבל הגענו בתקופה טובה. צריך לדעת לנווט כדי להגיע למלון (עם רכב).

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT! Can’t explain how wonderful this place was… I proposed to my girlfriend just next to this magical place. Mark and Jane are full of love and joy, the energy and the vibes they give are simply amazing. We couldn't have chosen a better place than this. The room was perfect, the guests/breakfast room was perfect. The location is perfect. Thank you Mark and Jane for making us feel like home.

Mooie rustige locatie en toch zo in het historische en drukke Hallstatt. Mark en Jane zijn fijne mensen die je het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk proberen te maken. Schone kamer met goede bedden en fijn terras. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt en in de nabije omgeving genoeg te zien en te doen.

In de regio gaat alles, maar dan ook alles pas open vanaf begin mei. Dus we hebben wat attracties gemist (Five Fingers, Dachstein, Zoutmijnen etc.). Het waterniveau in de Vorderner Gosauesee viel helaas ook tegen (pompen ze schijnbaar in de zomer terug...).

Minden fantasztikus!!!

Vista incrível, cafe da manha com frutas frescas e muffins de mirtilo caseiros deliciosos. Espaço aconchegante, máquinas de cafe e bebidas disponíveis, estacionamento gratuito. Muito perto de Hallstat (5km) oara quem vai de carro, com uma vista ainda mais incrível.

Nao tem como não gostar de algo. Mas é importante destacar que degraus para subir com malas.

Haus Salzkammer to absolutnie cudowny pensjonat, prowadzony z ogromną pasją przez wspaniałych ludzi – dziękujemy Jane i Markowi! ❤️ Od samego progu człowiek czuje się jak w domu (a może nawet lepiej 😄). Klimat? Przepiękny, typowo austriacki wystrój, dopracowany w każdym detalu. Pokój czyściutki, przytulny, a na dodatek czekały na nas kapcie – no kto by się nie ucieszył! 😍 Widok z okna? Bajka! Góry, jezioro… można siedzieć i patrzeć godzinami ❤️ Śniadania to już w ogóle inny poziom – wszystko świeże, pyszne i przygotowane z sercem. A ciasto bananowe z rodzynkami pieczone przez właścicielkę… mistrzostwo świata! Na drogę dostaliśmy jeszcze muffiny od Jane – serio, czy można chcieć więcej? 😄 Dużo podróżujemy w ostatnich latach i bez żadnych wątpliwości – to najlepszy pensjonat, w jakim byliśmy. Wszystko dopięte na ostatni guzik! Dziękujemy za wspaniały pobyt Michalina Robert❤️

The best thing about accommodation is feeling welcome. We only had a short but very enjoyable time. A good breakfast, including homemade muffins, gave us a great start to each day. We will definitely be back ;) Best regards, Sven and Michaela

Everything was perfect! We truly felt at home thanks to Mark and Jane. They made our stay really special by giving us great tips about the places we had planned to visit and also recommending some additional spots we hadn’t considered. The location is perfect and the view is amazing! If I visit Obertraun again, I will definitely choose this place to stay. Highly recommended!

这是一家布置的非常温馨的家庭式旅馆，店主夫妻俩很亲切也很健谈，英语很标准。早餐还不错，肉蛋奶水果面包茶咖啡都有（茶和咖啡二十四小时免费自助），马芬每天换口味，顶上带糖霜的那款特别好吃。最后一天我们赶早上五点的火车，正遗憾吃不到早餐，他们说不用担心，给我们提前打包好了四人份的三明治、马芬、鸡蛋、饮料放在冰箱里自取。店主夫妇住在屋子的二楼，一楼大概是储藏室，三楼是四间客房外加一个客厅，客厅用来吃早饭和娱乐，特别适合几个朋友一起过来。 湖景房窗外的风景很不错，虽然住的几天都是阴雨天，但是坐在阳台上喝着咖啡看着小镇很惬意。特别适合休闲游，放空一下。 旅馆离火车站七分钟步行时间，属于上特劳恩中位置很不错的地方，可以走到哈尔施塔特，大约40分钟，也可以火车大概10分钟。

没有。只是上特劳恩这个地方本身的交通有点不方便。

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy house in Austria. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. The property itself is charming, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with a true alpine atmosphere that makes you instantly relax and feel at home. One of the highlights is the breathtaking view of the mountains — waking up to that landscape every morning was simply unforgettable. The location is also perfect: peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to everything you might need, making it easy to explore the region. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, were the hosts. They are an amazing couple — kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. As Brazilian tourists, we felt especially embraced by their hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, always ready to help with recommendations, directions, and thoughtful gestures that made us feel almost like family. Their warmth and generosity felt almost angelical. If you’re looking for a cozy, authentic Austrian experience with stunning mountain views, a great location, and hosts who truly care about their guests, this is the perfect place. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and heartfelt stay.

Location was amazing, and it was easy to get to Halstatt from this bed and breakfast. Plenty of delicious options for us vegetarians and breakfast. Hosts went ABOVE AND BEYOND making us feel at home, comfortable, and informed about the local area. These folks are not only professional, they are kind, thoughtful and have a great sense of humor.

Mark and Jane are very hospitable hosts, and you can tell from the details (beddings, mattresses, showers and the common area decorations) that they have taken much effort in making it a homely place. We spent some time in the common area in the morning, looking at the beautiful landscape through the viewing window. The breakfast was generous and sumptous as well! This B&B really sweetened our stay in Hallstatt.

The room with the balcony had the perfect view of the streets , water , mountains. The room had every essential I could think of. It made me feel like home with the aesthetic interiors and the warmth of the owners. Most importantly the breakfast was delicious and served with love! I would recommend this to all those looking for a cozy place to relax and rejuvenate.

Mark and Jane are wonderful people. When me and my girlfriend arrived Jane came out with a huge smile and showed us around. The rooms were super comfy and everything was so nice. In the morning even though me and my girlfriend overslept 2 and a half hours they kept breakfast out for us and then drove us to the cable cars. Truly amazing people that you don’t come across often.

The hosts were exactly as everyone says - very kind, welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing. The location was perfect, quiet and close to the bus stop. Breakfast was also very good. Everything was really excellent and deserves the highest rating.

Absolutely brilliant hosts - incredibly friendly and excellent conversationalists. The location was idyllic and peaceful, super easy to get to from the train station. Room was very clean and had everything needed, beds were incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows. Breakfast exceeded expectations, great selection of food and drinks laid out buffet style. The view from the breakfast room was outstanding. Overall, a superb experience! It's clear that the hosts are really passionate about ensuring their guests have a great time.

Everything was at high standards at Haus Salzkammergut! Starting with the owners, Jane and Mark, that are the perfect host, always ready to help you with anything you need to have a pleasant stay there, continuing with the house that is very clean, cosy, quiet and super nice decorated and located exceptionally, with an astonishing view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. Super delicious breakfast, with bread and muffins made by Jane, and everything you need to have a complete breakfast at the beginning of the day. A great location, where we shall come back for sure. Tudo maravilhoso. Jane é a anfitriã perfeita, nos contou sobre a vida no vilarejo e nos fez sentir em casa e querendo ficar por mais tempo. A acomodação é super aconchegante, limpa e confortável. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage ist spitze, man kommt schnell zu den umliegenden Zielen auch ohne Auto.

Bitte als Verbesserungsvorschlag sehen, ist absolut keine Kritik. Die Vorhänge könnten besser abdunkeln.

숙소를 할슈타트가 아닌 오버트라운에 잡았는데 좋은 선택이었음. 할슈타트는 여행객 주차장과 거리가 멀어 캐리어를 끌고 들어가야하지만 이 숙소는 주차장이 있어서 바로 앞에 주차하고 짐 가지고 바로 올라갈 수 있음. (그리고 야외 주차장은 무료!) 날씨가 좋아 숙소에서 건너편 할슈타트도 보이고, 4분거리의 가까운 피자집에서 저녁 먹고 조금만 걸어가면 호수가 나오는데 거기에서 밤에 별 보는 것도 좋았음. 주인분들도 굉장히 친절하시고 샤워시설도 깨끗하고 좋아서 다른 유럽 숙소들과 달리 물이 잘 내려감. 공용거실에서 아침식사도 주인분들께서 준비해주시는데 굉장히 이쁘게 차려주시고 계속 필요한게 있나 체크해주심. 할슈타트를 관광할 생각이라면 완전 최고 숙소!

엘레베이터가 없지만 유럽은 엘레베이터 없는 호텔도 많기에 딱히 아쉬웠던 점은 아님! 한 층만 올라가면 되기에 무리 없다고 생각함.

Valóban azt kaptuk, amit vàrtunk! Gyönyörű volt a kilàtàs a szobàból a tóra és a hegyre is. Közel van a vasútàllomàs és a buszmegàlló is ( kb 5 perc), ezért könnyen el lehet jutni a környező településekre. A szàllàs nyugodt, csendes. A szàllàsadó pàr nagyon kedves és segìtőkész, jó tippekkel làttak el minket. A reggeli bőséges volt, valamint a szàllàs tiszta volt.

Sehr nette Gastgeber! Hilfsbereit, freundlich! Total nett weihnachtlich dekoriert, einfach zum wohlfühlen! Kaffee, Tee jederzeit möglich, im Aufenthaltsraum verfügbar! Herrlicher Blick über den Hallstättersee und die Berge!
