Wij hadden de prachtige bootkamer. Heerlijk ruim en origineel ingericht. Daarnaast was het heerlijke balkon met uitzicht op zee echt het grootste pluspunt. De locatie is top, met 2 min sta je op het strand. Ook het personeel is heel vriendelijk! Hassan heeft elke ochtend ons weer super gastvrij ontvangen met een heerlijk ontbijt. Wij zijn ook een avond op het dakterras gaan eten, echt een mega aanrader! Let op ze hebben er 2, wij raden juist die aan die zich niet boven het hoofdgebouw bevindt!

Everything about this place feel right. The location was perfect. The staff were wonderful and so incredibly helpful and kind going above and beyond and out of their way to help my friend who was unwell at the end of our stay. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so cosy and clean. We loved everything about it and felt so at home at Munga. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore Taghazout.

Shower pressure could have been better. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say at all.

Deco sympa, personnel très sympa, resto convivial et très occidental avec bière pression (après le surf 🏄👌), jeunes. Emplacement idéal .

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Munga GuestHouse ! L’endroit est vraiment magnifique, avec des chambres très originales, décorées avec beaucoup de goût et de personnalité. Nous avons eu la belle surprise d’être surclassés, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le personnel est adorable, très accueillant et attentionné. Gros coup de cœur aussi pour les petits-déjeuners sur le rooftop : délicieux, avec un cadre très agréable pour commencer la journée. Les deux restaurants de l’établissement offrent également une très belle ambiance, à la fois branchée et chaleureuse. Une très belle adresse à Taghazout que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Trop de bâtiments trop de marches pour monter aux chambres c’est un Riad rénové trop de meubles dans les chambres trop de récupérations ça manque de nettoyage le petit déjeuner est simple . Je trouve le prix de 580€ les 2 nuits très chère

Il y a 3 bâtiments Munga dans le centre ville de Taguazout, Une guesthouse ou tout est décoré avec finesse, Check-in/out hyper simple et ça fait plaisir; Myriam à l'accueil est top et hyper réactive sur les demandes. Côté chambre, là aussi le cadre est très beau et la décoration authentique; le lit est immense et en hauteur (chambre très spacieuse). La terrasse et le rooftop avec vue mer et village ou l'on peut prendre le petit dej, boire un verre et se restaurer est lui aussi super bien agencé et décoré. Et là encore un super personnel avec Hassan et ses co équipiers toujours gentils, de bonne humeur et aux petits soins. Le petit dej est super et le master chef pour les repas avec ses équipes, nous ont offert une jolie cuisine pleine de saveur. En conclusion : une réussite et un coup de coeur à faire les yeux fermés Bravo à vous tous, enfin un endroit ou l'expérience client prend du sens ^^

C'est tout en hauteur donc il faut être prêts pour les nombreux escaliers, dont certaines marches sont très hautes. Peut-être préciser dans le descriptif, pour les gens qui ne peuvent pas se passer de clim et de TV dans la chambre... que cela n'y ait pas. Et oui avec le vent, la clim est naturelle ^^ et le paysage est suffisamment beau pour ne pas avoir besoin de regarder la TV mais juste de profiter de la vue et la vie :-)

Absolutely superb. Lovely decor, big rooms, comfy beds. 2 minutes from the beach. The staff were fantastic, nothing was a problem. They let us check out late and then offered us another room to shower and change in for no extra charge if we wanted to go back to the beach. The Favella restaurant on the roof is excellent, the chef really knows what he's doing and the front of house is run by a lovely French guy. Fantastic.

Our first room was silly noisy at night but the hotel did warn us and were able to move rooms the next days. To some extent the rooms are style over function - our ‘shell’ tap came off in the shower spurting out boiling hot water ( which my daughter just managed to avoid 😬) the room was one of ‘jeopardy’ .. benches to climb into bed, rugs to trip over, headboards with sharp bumps! A foot lean in to the bedside table! Don’t get me wrong we absolutely loved the aesthetic and left injury free but if you are a ‘sleek edges’ person it might not be for you. The final thing is the hotel is in 3 buildings and it’s worth checking them all out when you arrive or you might miss something ( we did for a few days) … a rooftop to have a cocktail, a lounger to lie out on.

Le paradis L’établissement était notre point de chute après avoir bien baroudé … nous avons extrêmement apprécié l’accueil et la qualité des services. Le personnel était tous plus serviable les uns que les autres Nous étions dans le même bâtiment que là où nous petit déjeunions : pratique. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai festin et change tous les jours …

Auf unserer Tour durch Marokko waren wir gegen Ende 2 Nächte im Munga Guesthouse. Wir wurden in ein ruhigeres Zimmer gebucht, da abends eine Party war. Das Zimmerdesign mega originell und durchdesignt bis ins letzte Detail, witzig mit dem Baum, gemütliche Sitzecke auf dem Balkon. Für alle Ladies: ich hatte hier den besten Fön, wird nachgekauft :) Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war der Hammer, so viel Auswahl dass man gar nicht alles probieren konnte und den besten Kellner (danke dir Hassan!). Am 1. Abend war Party im Haupthaus, tolle Stimmung mit Hatim (we will never forget you, bro!), und am 2. Abend waren wir im Favela-Restaurant und hatten einen wunderbaren Abend mit hochwertigen Essen bei Sonnenuntergang.

Das Guesthouse besteht aus 3 verschiedenen Häusern, was zu Beginn etwas verwirrend ist und man muss viele Treppenstufen steigen zum Frühstück/ Resto/ u.U. zum eigenen Zimmer. Wir haben uns im Bett die Füße am Baum angehauen und dann sehr aufpassen müssen (und dabei ist mein Partner "nur" 1,80 m). Unser Zimmer war leider quasi im EG, daher etwas dunkel und direkt am Gässchen wo die Leute abends vom Strand hochlaufen, was man schon gehört hat.

L’emplacement est top. La deco est très originale et le petit déjeuner est incroyable, tant par le lieu, roof top face à la mer que par la qualité des mers. Une pâtisserie maison. Enfin un restaurant toujours sur le roof top excellent.

Uitgebreid ontbijt Grote, mooie kamer Vriendelijke ontvangst, met vlotte communicatie via WhatsApp om op te volgen tijdens ons verblijf als we vragen hadden.

Onze douche had geen warm water, wat kan gebeuren. Er werd ons meteen een nieuwe kamer aangeboden. Super vriendelijk!

We loved it from the first approach, the place is so unique and full of character... Super quirky unlike anywhere we've ever stayed. Our room with a seafront balcony view was just amazing. We found the staff to be super friendly and approachable, food was great .. And it has an overall great vibe with music in the evenings if you fancy staying out. We highly recommend Munga house and will no doubt return.

Stayed here with my partner and had mixed feelings overall. The positives first: the staff were genuinely lovely throughout our stay and the rooms themselves are really cool, quirky and full of character. The design of the place is great and you can see why people are drawn to it.

When we arrived, reception actually warned us that our room would be noisy and offered to move us. Unfortunately, the second room was also noisy as it was directly outside the restaurant area. Noise went on until around 11:30pm and then we were woken again around 7am by staff preparing breakfast. After we complained, we were moved again, but the next room still wasn’t great for sleep because guests were talking loudly until around 3am. For us, the biggest mismatch was that the place is marketed as a relaxing/chilled stay, whereas the reality felt much more like a party hostel vibe. The bar stays open until 1am and attracts lots of people, so if you want a social atmosphere you’ll probably enjoy it, but if you’re looking for peace and relaxation, it may not be the best fit. The “pool” was also disappointing. It was very shallow, more like ankle depth, and the chairs inside it were dirty and unclean. It didn’t really feel like a usable pool and was a bit misleading compared to expectations.

Die Fenster im Zimmer sind leider nicht dicht, sodass man jeden Lärm der Straße hört. Viel schlimmer ist jedoch, dass es super super kalt wird im Zimmer. Wir haben extrem gefroren. Auf den Hinweis an der Rezeption sagte man uns dann nur "Haha ja an der Küste hier wird es kalt, gab es keine zweite Decke im Zimmer?" Finden wir für den Preis leider inakzeptabel

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Nahe zum Meer, Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Um zum anderen grösseren Strand zu laufen, benötigt man nur 10 Min. Wunderschöne Location zum Frühstück.

Die Rooftop Terrasse mit dem kleinen Wasserbecken, welche man auf den Bildern sieht, ist heruntergekommen und wir nicht mehr benützt, was sehr schade isr. Man sollte wissen, dass das Munga house aus 3 verschiedenen Gebäuden besteht. Wir mussten zum Frühstück in ein anderes laufen.

Crazy amount of stairs to climb for breakfast and sun terrace in separate buildings lucky we are fit but it was really a lot. There should be a warning about this on the website. Beds were the hardest i ever slept in. Triple room but only got towels for two people. Soap not refilled and ran empty. No bin in the toilet No shower curtain just beads - not ideal when sharing.

Room was extremely noisy until around 2 AM every single night, so it was impossible to catch sleep before (even with closed windows) - something that needs to be mentioned in the booking, as the prices for the rooms are way too expensive for this experience.

It’s a beautiful property. I was in one of the suite rooms, which was huge and beautifully decorated. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the aesthetics of the hotel and it shows. The receptionist was also delightful - very helpful and gave great recommendations - and also organised a late check out so I could surf on my last morning.

It’s not a major criticism and this didn’t really affect me, but my room opened out onto their rooftop restaurant- so although that meant amazing views, it did mean that it could be noisy until around 10:30pm. It was quiet between 11pm and 7am though, so if you don’t want an early night / a long lie in, then it’s not a problem at all.

I loved almost everything! What a beautifully designed, unique property. Every room has been interior designed following a common theme. It was a joy and privilege staying there.

The shower in the 3rd room we stayed in was a trickle. The pool was not usable as it was being cleaned.

Bring earplugs as it can get quite noisy at night if you stay above the bar. The pool area was a bit dated.

The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, in the middle of village. I didn’t have an ocean view room but I could hear the ocean from my room. The decor was incredible. I have never stayed anywhere like this. Loved it.

Der schöne Blick über die Bucht von der Dachterasse beim Frühstück und von unserem Balkon. Super engagiertes Personal, wir konnten über WhatsApp jederzeit unsere Fragen stellen. Die Einrichtung, wobei die auch etwas dunkel und massiv wirkt. Die Lage: man ist mitten im Ort, mitten im Geschehen

Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, und nicht direkt über der Bar, aber nicht so sauber, wie wir es uns gewünscht hätte. Die Oberflächen waren schlecht sauber gemacht. Das Wasser in der Dusche floss kaum ab, sammelte sich eine Weile lang. Der Preis ist sehr hoch für das was geboten wird. Als der Zimmerservice da war, roch es in der Wohnung nach dreckigen Wischwasser. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig, aber da kann man wenig machen, das liegt an der Bauweise. Wir hatten etwas Sorge uns irgendwas einzufangen.

The noise for from the bar travels through into to the rooms! But we had headphones and still slept like babies! Everything else being so wonderful - this really wasn’t an issue!

Heel lawaaierig als je kamer krijgt aan de voorzijde, straatkant. Er is een openlucht bar die heel populair is bij jongeren en lawaai tot 2 uur 's nachts. Daarna beginnen de straathonden te blaffen en vervolgens start het verkeer op.

Le secteur bien situé et endroit plutôt propre

Voici quelques points importants à savoir sur cet hôtel : - Optez pour led chambres avec suite car elles sont situées en dehors de l’enseigne principale. Pourquoi ? L’enseigne principale ne propose que des chambres à lits simples, et surtout, elle abrite l’un des rares bars à servir de l’alcool donc SOYEZ prêt à faire face à une forte affluence de vacanciers, principalement anglophones. Ils sont connus pour leur passion de l’alcool et leur tendance à faire du bruit. Les murs ne sont pas insonorisés, vous pouvez donc vous attendre à entendre des bruits et des cris jusqu’à 3 heures du matin. - La chaudière de l’hôtel fonctionne uniquement à l’énergie solaire. Soyez prudent les jours de pluie, car vous pourriez vous retrouver sans eau chaude. Si vous voulez être sûr d’avoir de l’eau chaude, essayez de vous doucher tôt le matin. Nous avons personnellement rencontré ce problème pendant les quatre nuits de notre séjour, et le personnel n’a proposé aucune solution ni aucun dédommagement financier.

Het is een 150+ euro kamer hotel dat wordt gerund als een hostel. De nadruk lijkt te liggen op het restaurant/café. In het geval van problemen wordt er niet adequaat gereageerd en belandt je al gauw in discussie. Echt benedenmaats voor een dergelijke kamerprijs.

The guesthouse is lovely. The rooms and balconies were really unique and charming, the staff were very friendly and the roof terrace and restaurant were both awesome.

Het is echt veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Onze eerste kamer was niet goed schoon; zowel toilet als vloer smerig. Ze hebben een mooi dakterras maar we moesten 3x vragen of er wat kussens konden worden neergelegd. Maar het belangrijkste; we hebben 2 van de 4 nachten in een kamer boven het restaurant geslapen. Het was echt heel gehorig, harde muziek tot 1-2 uur ‘s nachts. Echt niet oké, daar kun je geen geld voor vragen. Terwijl we bij het boeken om een rustige kamer gevraagd hadden. Daarnaast moet het hotel onderhouden worden, het was ooit mooi maar nu zijn ook veel dingen kapot.

Everything about Munga is so considered, chic, and focused on providing their guests with a forgettable holiday. This was our second time at Munga, but our first with a toddler - all the staff were so happy to help and kind. The big rooftop on the third building is a truly wonderful place to switch off and relax. The never-ending beeakfast was also a highlight.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, all the buildings have lovely decoration and it is very clean everywhere. The staff at reception, cleaners and on the roof for breakfast and dinner were wonderful. We ate there each morning, the food was always great and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We ate once on the rooftop, the food is slightly pricier but worth every penny! It is delicious, a lovely vibe and I would happily have paid more to be honest. We also ate at the other restaurant, which was busy because it was Eid, but the food still arrived in a timely manner and it was delicious. The staff were very busy but made sure everyone was taken care of. On this day we had a slightly sour interaction with one woman on reception, as she was seemingly rude for no reason and ignored us while she checked her make up in the toilet mirror, however it was busy so she may have been stressed. Other than that, all the staff were wonderful and very helpful.

amazing room, loved the decoration, the bed is very confortable. the hotel has 3 buildings, each one with its own rooftop, we enjoyed a little bit of each at different times. breakfast was great and offered many options, staff was very friendly and helpful, loved the stay.

The three different rooftops with views of the sea were incredible! Breakfast was excellent. The unique design of all the rooms was amazing.

Some of the rooms were loud but the team did their best to accommodate to a quieter room when possible.

From the very beginning, the team helped us organize our transfer from Marrakech and welcomed us warmly with a room upgrade to a quieter building and a spacious room with a beautiful ocean view. Breakfasts were very good, with bottled water available, and every morning during breakfast our towels were changed and trash taken out, which was a very nice touch. In the evening, the breakfast area turns into The Favela restaurant, in our opinion one of the best places in Taghazout — the seafood is simply amazing. If you have trouble finding it, just ask at the Munga reception. The location right in the center of Taghazout, by the main road, is very convenient, and all Munga buildings create a lovely coastal atmosphere. We especially appreciated falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves rather than nightlife noise. On our last day, after check-out, we got caught in rain during a walk. When we returned, the staff invited us to warm up by the fireplace, offered us tea and even a room to change — a truly touching moment that made us feel at home. We are very grateful for this experience and wholeheartedly recommend Munga Guesthouse as a perfect place to relax.

Truly one of the loveliest places we’ve ever stayed in. From the incredibly warm and helpful staff, the stunning views and location, the two marvellous restaurants and exceptionally beautiful bedroom and comfy seat on the balcony…We fell completely in love with Munga Guesthouse and Taghazout.
