La terrazza sul mare è fantastica, le camere sono pulite, confortevoli e ben arredate. La colazione era buonissima.

Si je ne mets qu'une étoile, c'est uniquement pour la gentillesse du personnel sur place, qui était adorable et disponible. Eux seuls sauvent l'expérience humaine.

Trompeur, surévalué et opportunisme honteux Tout est à revoir pour nos hôtes Anglais.Dès notre arrivée, le décalage avec les photos était flagrant : elles sont très certainement retouchées, car la réalité est bien loin de ce qui est présenté. Le lieu donne l'impression d'avoir été abandonné aux outrages du temps et du sel marin. La peinture s'effrite un peu partout, avec des moisissures,le carrelage manque d'un nettoyage en profondeur, et globalement aucun entretien sérieux n'a été fait depuis très longtemps. Des petits gestes qui ne coûtent pourtant pas grand-chose, mais qui changent tout. Le mobilier, quant à lui, est très peu confortable et tout aussi abîmé que le reste. On est loin du cocon de luxe que les images laissaient imaginer. Autre détail agaçant : la literie est mal placée. Le lit devrait être plus proche de la baie vitrée pour offrir une vraie vue sur la mer. Là, on l'aperçoit à peine. Dommage pour un lieu qui se vend sûrement sur ce panorama. Mais le plus choquant reste l'attitude des hôtes (des Anglais). Alors que nous étions bloqués et le sommes encore,à cause des tensions géopolitiques entre les États-Unis et l'Iran, nous leur avons simplement demandé un geste pour prolonger de deux nuits, le temps que la situation s'apaise. Leur réponse ? Et louants aussi 2 autres lieux au Sri Lanka ,Ils ont augmenté le prix, et pas qu'un peu : plus cher que le tarif affiché sur Booking. Oui, vous avez bien lu : en pleine crise, ils ont profité de notre vulnérabilité pour nous facturer plus cher que le prix public. Nous avons refusé, quitté les lieux, et trouvé ailleurs un logement deux fois moins cher et absolument magnifique. Bref, nous avons eu l'impression d'avoir été escroqués. Fuyez ce lieu, ou à tout le moins, exigez des photos récentes et non retouchées avant de réserver.

Вилла всего на три номера. Ощущение интимности и уединённости. Не смотря на то, что вилла расположена прямо с рядом главным пляжем Унаватуны, множеством кафе и развлечений, рядом с автобусной остановкой и дорогой На ней очень тихо и спокойно. Только шум океана. Пляжа у виллы нет, так как берег каменистый, но 1 минуте ходьбы есть уютное место для купания, с чистой водой и песочком. Хотелось отметить шикарный вид на закат. Хотелось плакать от этой красоты. Интересно наблюдать за черепахами, которые обитают рядом с виллой. Панорама на океан роскошная, словно ты плывёшь на лайнере.

Kleines, feines Haus am Rande des Strandes von Unawatuna. Leider etwas störende Straßengeräusche. Netter Garten, kein Pool und kein Schatten. Getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt weil der Ort Unawatuna eine Katastrophe war! Das Personal ist bemüht und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist gut aber nicht sehr reichhaltig. Pancakes etc. kosten extra. Das einzige Hotel in dem wir waren, welches keinen Wasserkocher und Tee in den Zimmern hatte.

Почти всё супер, расположение достаточно удобное, рядом с пляжем и торговой улицей, завтрак хороший, потолки гигантские, балдахин от комаров, патио с видом на море и пляж. Персонал отличный, по приезде нам выдали по кокосу с трубочкой )

Минус в том, что не всё из заявленного реально было в номере. Если жить дольше, чем 1 день, то безусловно понадобятся хотя бы сейф и холодильник (он же мини-бар), их в номере не было.

De ligging en het uitzicht waren geweldig! Zeer comfortabel gevoel met zo dicht op zee te zijn.

Een tip voor de eigenaar om 2 parasols te plaatsen in de tuin bij de bedjes en die betonnen tafels en stoelen weg te halen en daar een klein pool te maken. Alleen om af te koelen ..

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch viel(seitig). Die Lage direkt am Meer sehr schön aber zum Strand musste man das Gelände verlassen, wenn auch wirklich nur ums Haus gehen (1min). Das Personal sehr freundlich. Sauberkeit stimmte auch. Für den Preis hätte ich jedoch zumindest mehr Pflegeprodukte und einen Wasserkocher mit Tee/Kaffee im Zimmer erwartet. Auch ein Strandlaken-/Handtuch wäre förderlich gewesen. Sitzbereiche außen und öffentlich sahen einfach nur schäbig aus. Hier und an anderen kleinen Stellen, die aber das Gesamtbild prägen, tät eine Renovierung dringend not. Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach nicht und dankbar wären wir auch über Kartenzahlung gewesen.

Die Zimmer waren wunderschön, sehr sauber. Das Personal super lieb und das Hotel liegt ruhig.

Ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre noch perfekt, ansonst war wirklich alles super!

Needed a fridge in the room ..there is plenty of space and available plugs. A mini-bar would then be good. We would also have liked tea/coffee making facilities and perhaps bathroom supplements.

This place and room were the same as on the pictures. The is good wifi, breakfast are fine and the view and sound of the sea is gorgeous. Place is near restaurants and shops and also you find here quite and peace.

We had an amazing stay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect with very easy access to the beach. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable, especially the beach view rooms, which give a truly relaxing and special vibe. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A special mention to the Sri Lankan style breakfast, which was delicious and highly recommended. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to see turtles and enjoy snorkeling right near the beach. Overall, this hotel offers great comfort, warm hospitality, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

Терасса отеля выходит прямо на берег так, что с нее можно рассматривать крабов на камнях, рыбок в воде и иногда даже черепах. И конечно же закаты! Номер очень просторный с высотой потолка метров 5. Кондиционер мощный и без проблем справляется с местной жарой. В отеле всего три номера, и те половину нашего отпуска были не заняты, поэтому весь балкон и зона отдыха внизу были полностью в нашем распоряжении. Зеленую зону на первом этаже часто посещают белки и ящерицы, что может сделать завтрак более увлекательным.

В номере не хватало шкафа, где можно было бы разложить вещи. Эту роль выполняли диван и стул.

Reality exceeded all our expectations: great location, everything matched the description and photos, very comfortable bed, the beach is only 100 meters away (it wasn't a problem for us), private courtyard with sun beds, panoramic view from the terrace. Huge thanks to the staff, especially Chanthu, who were ready to help with any our request. Very tasty breakfast in a local manner with a lot of fresh fruits. We also ordered relaxing massage after long flight and a tuk-tuk tour to a turtle nursery, boat safari and Galle, both were great 👍

Galle Henna Beach House was a fantastic choice for a relaxing stay by the sea. The location is excellent, right on the beach, allowing you to enjoy stunning sunsets and the soothing sound of the waves every day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request or local advice. The atmosphere of the house is very peaceful, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, and the option to enjoy meals with a sea view made it even more special. As soon as we got there the staff were just the nicest. Our room wasn't ready so they gave us a coconut each while we waited. The breakfast was also lovely and we also got to choice how we would like our eggs prepared. We unfortunately could only stay the one night and I really wish we had more time, we didn't get to explore loads of the are but from what we did it seemed to be in a great location.

Beautiful entrance and Lovely view, you can see a lot of turtles from out the huge balcony and it’s very peaceful . The breakfast not only extremely tasty but also a lot of variation and generous ( Sri Lanka breakfast) . The Staff was very nice and helpful . The room was comfortable

It's a private villa with just 3 rooms. There's no access to the beach from the villa, but the beach is in several minutes walking. Super nice and helpful staff! They cut fruits for us, carried luggage, etc. Someone from the staff is always there, 24/7. There're helpful, but not invasive. We were lucky to be the only one at the villa for 2 days. All rooms have a shared balcony, so when it's fully occupied, people walking to their rooms may look into yours. I noticed that staff never does that - they just look straight as they go. I recommend this place as a romantic getaway.

Loved every minute of our stay! From the moment we came and were granted a lovely compliment drink to the beautiful sea view, amazing breakfast and caring staff who made our stay comfortable and pleasant!

This was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The place is exactly like you see in the pictures. It's a beach house with 3 rooms located on the first floor with a huge shared balcony. The ground floor has kitchen, dining area, a big area where to can play games or just chill and a garden. It provides a perfect ocean view and you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks. Since it is on the main road so it is in close proximity to restaurants, cafes, liquor shop. The breakfast was really good. We stayed for 2 nights and there was a variation on each day. The staff is extremely helpful (We had to go for whale and dolphin safari at 6 am one day and they prepared the breakfast by 5.30 am which was highly commendable)

Honestly, cannot think of anything.

The location was perfect. Right on the rocks of the ocean and the entrance to the beach is no more than 20 meters from the accommodation. The staff were always available and more than happy to assist us. We were able to store food in the fridge for our daughter as well. The view is stunning as well. Overlooking the unawatuna beach with the most magical sunsets.

Beautiful house right on the sea and on the main road. Upstairs terrace with an almost 360 degree view overlooking the ocean and beach. Spotless and modern rooms with hair dryer and comfortable bed. Excellent friendly and polite staff that greet with a welcome coconut and kindly made a huge and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on request. The regular continental style breakfast was also delicious. 1 minute walk to the beach, fruit shop and wine shop across the road. The town is a 5/10 min tuk tuk trip to where the restaurants, bars & shops are.

No fault of the property or staff: When the sea is rough you can really hear the waves crashing against the rocks in front and if the roads are busy you can hear the cars on the road behind. If you’re a light sleeper like I am you may have an interrupted sleep on these occasions. When the rain was really torrential there was a slight leak from the ceiling on one side of the room which stopped when the rain stopped and dried out quickly. Worth noting the balcony / terrace is shared so if you have the curtains open people will be able to see inside your room if walking past. On 2 occasions other guests stopped and peeked right into my room.

We recently stayed for 6 nights at Galle Henna Beach House, located at the peaceful end of Unawatuna Beach. Its prime location offers easy beach access and proximity to great restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast, offering both continental and traditional Sri Lankan options, was consistently delightful. Galle Henna Beach House comes highly recommended for its serene setting, friendly service, and delicious breakfast.

True as the pictures. Amazing staff, thanks to Aruna and Yasindu for making out stay memorable. Spacious room (the pics don’t convey how big it is) clean and tidy. Bathroom spotless, with shampoo, soap etc provided. Spacious balcony to relax and enjoy the view. Working AC and fans. Breakfast: superb! Need to ask the staff a day ahead for SriLankan options. Everyday variations were provided which made our stay even more pleasant. On the last night, the manager (chef) cooked us dinner (we put an order). Best meal we had on the coast! Fresh, fragrant and delicious! Great property for those who enjoy a quieter stay at the beach. Next to a couple of restaurants, wine store and hopper shop.

At night you can hear music from a nightclub in the beach, not the properties fault. We had earplugs so it was not a problem. Bit if confusion about the house cleaning and room cleaning - but it was resolved.

Everything was so great. The room was just what we wanted. The a/c worked great, so did ventilators. The breakfast was incredible, the view from the terrace was great. The staff was just so helpful and wonderful to us. Even though the house is close to a quite busy Unawatuna beach - it didn’t feel very crowded. You’re a little away from everything, but it’s still reachable. Truly an amazing experience.

Outside there were containers for recycling, but in the room there was just one bin in the room and one in the bathroom. Makes it a bit tricky to keep the recycling stuff apart from everything else.

We really liked our stay. The location is very good - the beach is nearby, restaurants are within walking distance. We really liked breakfasts: delicious smouthies, fruits, pancakes, omelette and toasts. There is very nice stylish lobby at the first floor. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

One night there was a loud disco not far away from the hotel.

This was our best stay in Sri lanka! It is an amazing property overlooking the ocean. Stay has 3 room and we were the only ones for one day and enjoyed lazing around the property. Felt like our own villa. We didnt want to go out on our last day and had requested the manager to arrange dinner which was great! Every day breakfast was very elaborate and they served delicious pan cakes. The property was close to a small secluded beach overlooking the property, making it feel as a private beach property. The staff is very courteous and helpful with bike rental. Everything about the room and property was just excellent.

on fridays there is an extremely loud techno party until sunrise next door. I couldn‘t sleep at all that night.
