Monkey Homestay & Bar

Le homestay est juste à côté du port du débarquement. La chambre était basique (n°5), avec un tarif très abordable. L'ambiance de l'île est sympa à partir de 14h une fois tous les bateaux partis.

Le bruit du climatiseur très très bruyant, d'ailleurs des bouchons d'oreilles nous ont été remis lors de notre installation et nous ne comprenions pas pourquoi au début... La location du scooter est plus chère chez eux que sur le port. L'excursion snorkelling se limite à un spot où se trouve d'autres bateaux et avec peu de visibilité... Déception.

Pas grand chose. Si! l'amabilité et la gentillesse du mari de la propriétaire qui tient aussi le bar de la plage de bai chong.

Accueil très froid de la part de la propriétaire. Ambiance morose et tristounette. Aucune attention particulière Pas d'eau dans les chambres, pas de café, pas de thé. Pas d'eau chaude dans les douches. Et une clim surtout qui ventile mais fait très peu de froid. Une terrasse laissée à l'abandon..fleurs, plantes, devenues cendrier.. Bp trop cher pour ce que propose l'établissement en réalité

Le personnel un peu froid . Une homestay devenue un peu « usine à touristes ». Mais pour une nuit à Cham, c’est parfait

Lieu magnifique. Personnel très gentil et serviable, ils nous ont organisé la traversée en speed boat, une sortie en mer et les déplacements en scooter. Chambre confortable et qui se rafraîchit avec la clim.

Check out un peu tardif quand on arrive avec le bateau de 8h.

L’emplacement idéal pour découvrir les belles plages de l’île

Sauberkeit Personal war zuvorkommend aber ein freundliches Lächeln wurde vermisst. Das Essen war gut. Für Schnorcheln oder Tauchen sollte man einen extra Tour buchen( meist vormittags ab 10:00Uhr). Das bieten ansässige Fischer oder Restaurants an, da es an den Stränden wenig zu sehen gibt.

La ubicación excelente, el servicio del personal muy bien, nos facilitaron todos los servicios que necesitamos (alquiler de motos, equipo de esnórquel, excursiones…). La habitación estaba muy limpia y nos recomendaron las playas que visitar en la isla.

De kamer was wat krap voor 4p. er passen net twee twee persoobsbedden in de kamer en de twee stoelen hadden we even buiten de kamer gezet zodat onze spullen kwijt konden. En dan gaat het prima.

La struttura è molto centrale e conveniente. Sufficientemente pulita (anche se l'area comune era disordinatissima quando siamo arrivati). Ci sono scimmie ovunque. Il personale sorride poco e non tutti comprendono l'inglese ma cercheranno in ogni modo di accontentare le vostre richieste, organizzando transfer, escursioni e altro. Il bagno è molto spartano ma comunque dignitoso, ancorchè esterno come specificato. Nelle aree comuni si soffoca dal calore.

Dalle foto sembrava di intuire che la struttura avesse un servizio spiaggia adiacente. Invece la spiaggia attrezzata è a 30 minuti a piedi o 5 minuti di scooter (ed è gestita dalla stessa famiglia).

La gentilezza del personale, la posizione strategica tra il molo e la spiaggia più bella e la camera vista mare. Buon ristorante

We had a wonderful stay at Monkey Homestay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The owners are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about making their guests feel welcome. Their friendliness and helpfulness made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic, with everything conveniently nearby while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The homestay itself is cozy, charming, and full of character, making it a truly pleasant place to spend time. What stood out most was the warm and inviting environment. It is the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and can fully enjoy your stay. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for creating such a special experience. We would happily stay here again!

Great location. The room had basic amenities and a beautiful sea view.

While the owners were pleasant, we did not feel particularly welcome, as they seemed somewhat uninterested and not very engaged with their guests. Another disappointment was that the property was listed on Booking.com as accepting card payments, but it was not actually possible to pay by card.

Super leuk eiland, heerlijk verblijf gehad!

This Homestay is so beautiful and our room all the way on top was really nice, with a balcony that has a view of the ocean. :) the family can help you organize everything and are very helpful and kind people. We felt very lucky to have been here.

Det var en meget sød familie som tog i mod os i deres eget hjem med åbne arme. Vi følte os virkelig velkomne.

This was a lovely property close to the beach. The owners were were really nice couple. We got picked up from the dock as soon as we arrived which was fantastic because we had lots of baggage. The house was lovely looking out on the beach. The rooms were airy and clean with a lovely balcony.

Maybe the food took awhile to come out but that wasn’t a big deal.

Great location and food. Room was good for the price. Staff are wonderful, very welcoming and friendly. We couldn't do the snorkelling trip, so the staff arranged a private boat for us, which cost less than the tours and meant we had the snorkelling spot to ourselves.

We had a great stay at Monkey Homestay! We were here for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special trip! Great options of activities that you can organise through the homestay, delicious food and beautiful views from the balcony!

The bathrooms didn’t have any aircon so were quite hot at times but that might just be us English tourists not well adjusted to the heat!

The location was perfect , staff great arranged bikes and speedboat , nice food in restaurant. Its basic accommodation but for £12 a night it’s a great little find , don’t take food on the balcony though the monkeys come and take it off you lol

Owners arranged boat and snorkelling trip, and picked us up on arrival ( although that does depend on someone being available) Nice location. Very effective aircon. More storage in room than expected.

Sijainti aivan sataman vieressä oli kätevä, ja kattoterassilta oli mukava katsella rantakadun elämää. Huone oli hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyvä, ja ravintolan ruuat ja juomat erittäin maukkaita.

Pieniä puutteita oli esimerkiksi ilmastoinnin tehokkuudessa, mutta majoituksen edullisen hinnan huomioon ottaen olimme tyytyväisiä huoneeseemme. Retkistä ja muista majoituspaikan tarjoamista palveluista olisi voinut olla esillä esim. infokansio, sillä palveluita oli todennäköisesti tarjolla enemmän kuin huomasimme kysyä.

Location, 5 minutes from the boat and in front of a small beach, and just on the side of Cham Island letters and hearts for pictures. Small balcony at my room with sea sound and a little bit of sea view. Amazing rooftop where I practice my yoga every morning with open sea views and sound. Filtered water available. Food at the restaurant is amazing and it’s really nice to eat “at home” when you are tired or if it’s raining. Owners are super! For me this is the best place to stay in Cham Island

My room has no private bathroom. It’s just in front of the room but would be more convenient inside. Anyway, it worked well for my 3 days stay

Everything was fine

We booked a 3-night stay, and the homestay was a budget place, as expected for the low price. It was clean, and the location was lovely. The rooms are on the smaller side, and our rooms had the bathrooms outside (still private, but you need to step out of your room). There is no TV in the room or any other facilities, so travelling with kids can quickly become boring if you spend more than one night. Some reviews mentioned music at night, as it is a bar, we had none the whole time (April visit). Also, they will pick you up with a buggy (they didn't offer this to us, although it wasn't a long walk from the pier). The island is lovely but slightly more expensive than the mainland.

Tout. La terrasse magnifique avec une vue splendide ( en prenant la chambre au dernier étage) Les singes qui passent devant la fenêtre. Grand espace pour la douche. La location de scooter sur place. Ils nous les ont laissé jusqu'au lendemain pour porter nos bagages au port.

The location was excellent and the air con was good. Beachfront with great food and a beautiful beach within walking distance up a steel road..but worth it!

The rooms were very basic. There was a kettle with cups but no coffee and the rooms were small, towels were threadbare and the toilet and shower was together so you have to wipe the floor after the shower. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

Experiència recomanable, envoltada de micos. Ens van tractar molt bé, i el lloc és espectacular.

I had a wonderful stay at Monkey Homestay and can highly recommend it! The location at the end of the village was perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet still close enough to everything. The beds were very comfortable, which made it easy to rest and recharge, and having a small private balcony was a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful view from the terrace! The Coconut coffee that they serve is by far one of the best I tried in Vietnam! The speedboat ticket was organised by the staff, which was a very comfortable service. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

nothing, just keep in mind that there is many monkeys on the island, one of them climbed on the balcony and almost stole a little bag. :D so don’t leave your stuff unattended while having the balcony door open!

Останавливались на 5 дней. И это было самое лучшее решение, жаль что не планировали на более длительный срок. После посещения этого места хочется вернуться снова. Дом,где мы остановились был прекрасен, рядом красивейшие пляжи. Сам дом очень атмосферный. Хозяева потрясающие, готовят очень вкусно. Мы даже и никуда не ходили больше кушать, кушали только на месте, попробовали почти все меню, каждое блюдо было очень вкусным. Все морепродукты очень свежие. С билетами на остров помогли хозяева, а также встретили с лодки и отвезли обратно. Каждый день нас посещали обезьяны, там их много очень. Интересно было наблюдать. Получился очень спокойный, умиротворенный, тихий отдых. Однозначно рекомендую это место, вернемся обязательно
