Niezwykle sympatyczna i pomocna właścicielka obiektu. Bardzo czysto. Świetne śniadania Kilka minut spacerem do plaży, przystanek autobusowy 20 m, sklep 50 m
Everything and friendly and helpful
Sehr gutes frühstück und sehr freundliches personal!
Nichts
Friendly hosts. Good breakfast.
The breakfast was delicious. The host was friendly😊
Jessie’s was like home from home and she does the most incredible breakfast (her homemade apple cake is so tasty) only a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. Love Jessie’s garden great place to sit out and watch the birds, beautiful flowers and multiple fruit trees
Colazione stanza posizione
Assolutamente nulla
Nice place to stay!
close to Beau Vallon beach......
use better beddings and improve on breakfast
Very cosy and close to the beach
There is nothing in particular I didn’t liked. I felt good
Great location, lovely outside space to sit and enjoy quiet evenings, breakfast was fantastic.
Room decor looks a little outdated and not sure what in our room constituted 'deluxe' as it was quite basic (no TV etc)
Breakfast was great with view of beautiful garden and friendly birds. Ease of access to Beau Vallon beach with lots of food options within walking distance.
Nothing at all.
Small, comfortable mouse with several rooms. Great hostess and homemade breakfast)
Really loved how Jessie deals with customers and how you get to meet the entire family if you are lucky! Everyday good breakfest and service! Absolutely loved the stay.
Excellent service and location
.
There’s absolutely nothing good about this accommodation—just like everyone else said in the reviews, but I didn’t listen. The first time i'm giving a 1 rate in all my years of travelling.
Let me start with the not-so-nice lady who owns this place. I sent her a few messages before my arrival, including asking how to get to the property, but never got a reply—even now, after checking out. I also wrote to her on WhatsApp, and still no answer. But when I arrived, she had her phone in her hand. You can only pay cash in rupees at a rate that she decides is "the rate of the day." I went to a nearby exchange to change euros, but of course, that wasn’t the rate I actually paid, so I ended up paying even more than the actual accommodation price. There was construction in the yard, and they were pouring concrete, so it was messy, loud, and you had to watch your step to avoid stepping in wet concrete. The room had no AC, and for those saying the fan was enough, I honestly don’t know how 40°C inside a room is "okay." I took a chocolate out of the fridge, and in less than 10 minutes, it had melted. I feel like it’s inhumane to rent out a room in these conditions. The room also had a bad smell, likely from mold, and it was clear that cleaning wasn’t really done properly. Speaking of cleaning—when they "cleaned" my room, they unplugged all my chargers and even closed the sockets (who does that?!). Also, I was just one person, but when I checked in, I had towels for two. After the first cleaning, they took away half of them for no reason. As for breakfast, people said it was so good, but honestly, you just get some fruit and a tiny omelet. When I asked for an extra omelet, the host refused, saying that she had already cleaned the kitchen—even though it was still between the official breakfast hours (7:30-10 AM)! A few days before checking out, I asked if I could have breakfast at 7 AM because I had to leave for the airport, and the answer was no, because breakfast is at 7:30. If you're considering booking this place, think twice. There are so many other accommodations at a cheaper price, with way nicer hosts.
Nice place to enjoy Mahé Island. Only 5min walk to the beach. A 10min drive to Victoria. Very good family restaurant and take aways few minutes walk. And the supermarket 50 meters away. Jessie lives there, so if you need anything she will always be ready to help. She was very kind to accommodate our needs. We had the feeling to be like home. We enjoyed seating there in the small garden with mango trees and flowers. We were 7 adults so we could have the space almost for us. The home made breakfast was just delicious, even with fruits from Jessie’s garden. In the main living room you have 2 fridges where you can put your drinks or take aways food. The room #1 is the deluxe family room. It seems to be the best. With fridge and Air conditioning. Nice bathroom. The room #5 is the deluxe double room. Good for 2 adults with 1 child or 3 adults as the rooms are kind of separated. But the air conditioning is not in the main room with the double bed but in the one of the single bed. Not the best to cool down the main room. No fridge there. Our friends didn’t like the plastic curtains in the shower. (In room #5 they were in textile). The room #3 is the double room . Basic, so cheapest of the 3 rooms we had. No air conditioning, just fan. Just before departure, my friends showed me their room, to confirm what they had for 4 days: strong smell of mold. We didn’t have time to discuss that with Jessie. But this should be for sure addressed.
See my main comments.
Breakfast was lovely, I loved the fresh juice and fruits. The host was friendly and ensured that her guests were not disturbed by noisy guests.
The worst encounter right upon arrival, the woman at the reception being surely the rudest person I have met during 4 weeks of traveling the Indian Ocean. When I pointed out that the room didn’t seem to be what it looked like on the pictures, she told me “You can go to another hotel, I don’t care”, then left the property, then told me over the phone that I still had to pay even if I wanted to leave and then just hang up while I was talking to her. The next day my phone charger got damaged during house keeping. No apologies, no reparations were offered. Finally, she charged me 7% above the agreed price from booking - to be paid in cash. Needless to say that it is difficult to feel comfortable in such an atmosphere. The room without AC and poor service are definitely not worth the money. The most unpleasant experience of my entire trip.
I really liked the familiar atmosphere with the hosts every morning, the clean and thoughtfully equiped guesthouse within a beautifull garden (felt like beeing in the jungle), the comfy bed and well equiped room and the awesome breakfast: fresh fruits (often from the own garden), scrambled eggs/omelette, fresh toast, sweet bakery... after this emperors meal i was ready to go to the beach (10' by foot) or explore the island otherwise. Btw: if you have a car, there is enough parking space for several guests 👍Price-Quality is unbeatable.
There is nothing to complain. It is not a 5 star hotel, obviously, but I'd choose this familiar, honest to the bone, comfy accomodation any time before paying a fortune.
The close proximity to the Beau Vallon beach and room was cleaned daily
While a stand fan was available in the room, it would have also been nice to have an AC
I have really enjoyed my stay and a big thanks to the owner Jessie, who has been all the time very helpful and taking care of me. The house in creole style is very cute and cozy. My room was very clean and confortable, as well the spacious common spaces, like the living room and the spacious veranda. The breakfast has been excellent, for both quality and variety, including cofee, juice, fruits, different types of pastries, omelette, bread and marmelade. The location is very convenient, just approx 5, 7 minutes walking to the Beau Vallon beach - with many bars, takeaway and restaurants - and 1, 2 minutes walking to minimarket and two good takeaway. Indeed, the bus stop - where to take the bus to Victoria - is just in front of the entrance of the guesthouse.
The best is that is one minute away from the bus stop, supermarket, the beach, many restaurants, a very good an affordable take away. I had a lot of space in my room that was super confortable, quiet and one minute to the kitchen. In the kitchen there is free coffee and tea and bananas and two huge fridges. The breakfast is excellent, everyday different kind of fruits, you can order eggs as you wish and different sweets. I was really confortable and happy there plus is 5 min walk to the beach. The garden area is very nice and there is a huge private parking if you come by car.Internet works perfectly, much better than in other locations in Seychelles. The owner Jessie was so kind that she let me do the check in late on my last day with no extra cost as my room was available and that was amazing so I could take a shower after the beach and use the room until late. Ronny can also drive you or pick you up from the aiport or port at normal taxi fees, very confortable too.
I recently stayed at Jessies Guest House in Beau Vallon, and it was an incredible experience. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the stunning Beau Vallon Beach. The guest house itself is cozy and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The breakfast provided was delicious and fresh, with local flavors that added to the overall experience. The common areas were great for unwinding after a day of exploration. I would recommend Jessies Guest House for anyone looking for an affordable and welcoming place to stay in Beau Vallon. It’s a home away from home that perfectly captures the serene beauty of Seychelles.
There’s no air conditioner inside the rooms and you’ll be provided with table fans
Great location close to supermarkets, the beach and various restuarants. Includes breakfast served with fresh fruits daily, delicious juice, freshley baked sweet treats and the yummy local vanilla tea. Change of sheets and towels every 2nd day was great in the heat, the bed was really comfortable and our room was very spacious fitted with an aircon and a fan. We had a very confortable stay.
Shower was not working. When I asked the host the hot water is not working she asked me to take a shower in another room, not room change just for shower. I did not want this ( because all my belongings was in my room ) and she said me "what can I do then." It was the rudest sentence I ever heard from a host and I had to take a shower with cold water. breakfast was just 2 slices of bread and butter and some fruits. that was not enough.
Good location, very helpful and caring staff, clean room. Very nice breakfast!
No shower gel/shampoo
A very close walk to the beach and restaurants in Beau Vallon. Delicious breakfasts each day and very comfortable room.
Sadly the wifi was out for most of the stay due to a bad rainstorm.
It’s so close to the beach, shops and the road. No need for car as you can walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Ronny the driver was so kind enough to show me around to the conference hotel where I was going to attend my workshop for the 3 nights I was to stay there. He also showed me the restaurant and the beach before dropping me to the guesthouse ( all this was at a free cost ) The breakfast was served on time and can keep you full until lunch time. The family is warm and welcoming and always checking on me to see if I am fine. I was complimented daily about my outfit and this boosted my confidence and made me feel at home since I was traveling alone🤗
Everything was exceptional. They are very kind people. They even offered my friend a cup of coffee when she came to pick me up in the morning😊
Very good people. Helped me a lot and even more. Thanks for everthing
Bed was comfy, very calm environment and the very good breakfast
We couldn’t reach the place before our arrival because they didn’t check their messages. The old lady, Jessie, didn’t wait us and later she lied about it. Very unprofessional. She was quite grumpy and unnecessairly packed away our personal staff in the room (e.g: unplugged the charger and put it in a drawer). Sorry, it was a bad experience.
Breakfast was great and friendly. Room was ok, and beach was close
There should be a kitchen available for residents to be able to use it, to warm food etc.
The breakfast on both days was very good, we really appreciated it being freshly made, thank you!
Simple but very cosy B&B. Excellent hospitality, you feel at home instantly. The home-cooked breakfast was superb. Location is good with a short walk to the nice Beau Vallon beach with many restaurants and bars. The owner and her son also helped us arrange a short trip to the nearby beautiful Anse Major and car rental, which was extremely helpful.
If you are looking perfect location to move around Seychelles this property right place for you.everything near by ,bus stop, super market, beach , restaurant, take away..... don't hesitate to book this place you will not regret it.i been moving around lot of place in my short stay but beauvallon area give you perfect vibes to walk around and to visit another beach.seychelles have lots of beautiful beaches to explore within different areas of the capital this guest house on perfect location to make easy your movement.breakfast also plus👌, Seychelles is expensive country just plan everything head before coming here to control your budget,if you're on budget buy unlimited bus card so you can easily move around..... food around beach beauvallon like coral strand hotel, etc nice but check their menu outside the hotel door to check the prices if you're ok with that, lot of take away but you may not like it depends on your appetite... don't compare Seychelles with another country that you book by cheap five star hotel ,Seychelles vibe different, you have to set your mindset with island vibe not luxury apartments, hotels,....
......
Breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly, great location, room was clean and no ac was not a problem because the room comes with a fan. Would highly recommend
A small getaway close to the beach and the "center" of Beau Vallon. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the rooms great, the breakfast tasty and enough to set you up for a day diving. I was very happy.
Nothing in particular.
I loved that the hostess and family treated us like oart of their household and eas very helpful and responsive. The breakfast was really good and Jesse put her petsonal touch to it
Lady of the house and all her family make you feel like you are family member. They all speak fluent English, Italian and French. I had spacious room which was cleaned everyday. Breakfast is beyond any expectation with fresh selection of tropical fruits, eggs and pastries served in the beautiful veranda under mango trees. Location is by the main road but surrounded with beautiful tropical garden. Beach is 7 minutes walk and shopping is very close.
Mangoes, care and love and affection and Rony's cheese egg. Wish you all the best.
The hosts are super nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, with fresh products including delicious fruits from the garden! The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily and the common area is very nice. The location is quite convenient, few minutes walk from the beach. Very good price/quality ratio.
The dark and relatively busy road to get back to the guest house in the evening as there are no sidewalks.
The beach was close. Fresh fruit.
Bad smell in the room, like after the old grandma. Staff/cleaner was touching our things and moving them, putting them to bag or use them to hold the window. Organising our toothbrushes in the bathroom. Taking our charger out of sockets etc. Close to busy road. Only two options for breakfast (for a week I would expect little bit more).
We spent 8 nights with my best friend in Jessies Guest House Seychelles, Beau Vallon. I have to say that Jesse is a real fairy and all the staff was very friendly and helpful! We felt like at home, just with an environment of a tropical paradise with amazing flora and colorful songbirds and geckos. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, with 2 spacious bedrooms, very good AC and a nice bathroom. The view was exceptional to the garden and nearby hills. The breakfast always included fresh tropical fruits and croissants or super homemade pastry. The place is also very close to the bus stop to Victoria and surrounded with several good shops and street food bistros. The ocean shore is a few minutes away on foot, with one of the best beaches with fine white sand and ubelievable color water 😃. We are dreaming of coming back and going home at all 😊... Istvan and Peter
Good breakfast
nice breakfast, location is ok, parking.
room did not have AC nor ceiling fan, the room will get really hot, the staff will leave all windows open to get a little of air but that meant to have mosquitoes at night so be prepared to be eaten (no mosquito nets). I had issues to find the location, I wasn’t able to reach anyone to get help, I had to find it myself. My first night I went for dinner when I came back at around 10 pm I found all doors and parking gate locked. Person working there wasn’t friendly nor helpful the first day. Note they don’t take credit cards either. Overall this is not a good place to stay, there are better guesthouses on the southern part of the island.
Jessie’s guest house was the ideal accommodation for my week long stay in Mahé. Jessie and her family are very welcoming. Jessie organised airport and ferry transfers for me, a boat excursion and renting a car. I was very grateful for her hospitality along with the lovely breakfast every morning. My room was very clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. The beach is a 10 minute walk and had lots of food options. Multiple supermarkets and ATMs are 5 minutes from the property.
nothing!
the atmosphere, cleanliness, the premises (greenery, a real oasis), hospitality and breakfast.
none
Very friendly atmosphere, I felt myself like I’m at home. We spent 10 days together with my child and were happy with the guesthouse. Thank you for our vacation. There is a space outdoors to relax or to read book so no need to spend time only in the room. Very good breakfast. Hosts are helpful and try to solve all asks. Near there are several supermarkets. We had conditioning in the room. In the guesthouse territory there is a parking space. I recommend to take taxi from the airport from the guesthouse recommendation not to worry about anything.
Spacious room, wonderful property and owners! Excellent breakfast.
Nothing.
The staff were friendly, location great and the breakfast delicious!
There was a slightly musky room smell (due to the heat and high humidity I’m presuming), otherwise if you air it out it clears.
Cozy room with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast cooked by the hostess! Fresh fruits from the garden. Great place to stay for a few days!
Broken shower holder.
location , breakfast
The hospitality was very good and nice breakfast provided. The staff are nice
No AC in the room
Excellent breakfast with Mangoes. Room was clean. Most important you have all restaurant nearby including an Indian restaurant.
Very friendly staff, helped me to get dinner when I arrived late on the first day. Great breakfast and very close to the beach and cafes.
Nice staff and manager. Wonderful breakfast. Clean room but no TV in the rooms. Close to the beach
The strategic location of the property. Good staff and hospitable people.
The serenity of the compound lace with green leaves. The environmentally friendly scene, the fruity breakfast served with smiles
Slow internet and no alternative power source in the event of power outage from the grid
The breakfast was amazing! As was Micho the cat 🐈 :)
The place is squeaky clean and quiet. The host is the nicest lady. I loved the breakfasts!
Location is perfect. Breafast is very good. Hospitality is very good. There is a good parking place for cars.
Aircon is missing.
Great place, really kind people, and super tasting breakfast!
nothing, all great!
location, delicious breakfast
no card payment, small room, no air condition, not any privacy, quite pricey
