From the very first moment, Derek, his family, and Nando made us feel at home and took care of everything we needed. They gave us great recommendations for safaris, helped us reserve restaurants, and were always happy to assist with anything we asked. Beyond the incredible hospitality, the place itself is perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers who want to experience the amazing vibe of Jeffreys Bay. The facilities are beautiful, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. The rooftop balcony is simply magical—the perfect place to relax after a day in the water. We can't wait to come back!

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026The hosts and the staff were just amazing!! not only were they attentive, caring and very accommodating but they are knowledgeable about the area and they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped with a fridge, hairdryer, kettle, and a safe. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is wonderful. The location is perfect with private parking and easy access to the beach.

I had some good conversations with them, the room an the whole place was very beautiful with eyes for little details. If I am coming back to Jeffrey's bay I will definitely stay there again

L'emplacement est exceptionnel, la chambre est extrêmement propre et les draps sentaient vraiment très bon. Le petit déjeuner en face de l'appartement est magnifique. Vraiment exceptionnel.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2025Very nice room, close to the beach with great views. Comfy beds. Very friendly and talkative owner, learned a lot about Jeffreys Bay and South Africa in general. Great tip to have dinner at Nina, which was very enjoyable as we joined many local families having their Friday dinner.
Breakfast across the road was good, only partially included in the price (there is a voucher but that doesn't cover everything). Minor comment.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay At Supers in mid September. The room was perfect, with a view of the world renowned J-Bay Supertubes line up, which was steps away. The roof top terrace had even better views of the surf and shore. The hot outdoor shower was a welcome luxury after each surf session. The included breakfast at the cafe across the street was excellent. The At Supers hosts and the staff were all so welcoming and friendly.
The need to be careful on the steps to the second floor, as they weren't all the same dimensions.

It is provided with a full kitchen and a great balcony. The hospitality of Derek and his wife could not be any better. They provide you all the information you need and everything they do is with love. This is the place to stay at J-bay.

Rooms are kind of small if you have a lot of luggage/ board bags.

The fridge makes a noise at night which impacts on the person sleeping downstairs. You need to enter via the kitchenette which is not ideal but there is a side entrance that can be used. Not much too NOT like.

Small room for the price. Looks tired and could do with updating the furniture. B’fast is a token for a separate restaurant, and is for only 220 Rand, so you have to pay for anything over/above ( and the restaurant doesn’t let you have the buffet). Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2025Oh a Fabulous Location! Accommodation was great. A bit difficult to open 2 luggage bags in the room buy hey we worked it out. Derek was awesome and very proud of his son who owns the property. He gave us lots of tips of places to stop along 'The Garden Route'.
Only the rooms don't really accomodate your bags/luggage being open. It is overcome by the location which is AWESOME

Reviewed Dec 7, 2024We only stayed for one night but we liked it very much. We arrived after checkin time but it was no problem. The bathroom was very comfortable and everything was super clean. Would strongly recommend. We even got chocolate and cookies.
The room could have been a little bit bigger as the suitcases take up some space as well but it didn't bother us.

The staff, Prudence and Nando, were incredibly attentive and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had an unforgettable time and highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
