The location is truly beautiful, with views of the ocean on one side and a mountain range in the distance on the other. Zaan was very kind, waiting for our arrival, sharing all the necessary information, and even recommending great places to eat. We immediately felt at home. The only small challenge was the rather steep stairs leading to 2 single beds but it added character to the space.😊 Breakfast, lovingly prepared by Diana, was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort in a stunning setting. Many thanks again to Zaan and the whole team for making our stay so memorable!

The room was spacious and very cozy, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The garden is beautifully designed, with a great pool area that invites you to unwind. The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious with very thoughtful, attentive service. Our personal highlight was the adorable puppy, who completely stole our hearts. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back!

Very strict no early check-in and no bag drops , even at 12 pm on the day of check-in.

We started each day off with a freshly made to order breakfast which was prepared by Diana with care and attentiveness. She is 1 in a million. Our room was serviced daily and cleaned thoroughly.The tea/coffee station restocked and fresh towels etc provided each day. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was fresh and of excellent quality. I highly recommend Cycads on Sea for a holiday destination.

Da gibt es höchstens Kleinigkeiten, ein Safe wäre wünschenswert ..Die Eingangstür konnte man nicht verdunkeln, dadurch war es morgens recht früh hell im Zmmer, was sicher viele nicht stört.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2025Great location. The owner Zaan is fantastic. Spent a lot of time getting to know her and she made the stay wonderful. Breakfast is also included and it’s great value for money. There are heated blankets in the bed which is great and access to a fridge and microwave outside the room. Also a fridge in the room. There are communal areas and a pool but we didn’t use them. Toiletries are provided in the bathroom. Beautiful garden spot outside with view. Zaan recommended restaurants and also gave us a fantastic map of St Francis Bay with ideas of what to see/do.
The light comes in through the door so I think some curtains would be good there at the front. The shower wasn’t the best and makes it hard to wash hair. The temperature kept changing too. The pool area could do with some TLC so more guests can use it.
