Joan was a lovely lady, and very obliging, room was comfy and clean, view was beautiful, Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Staying at Joan was absolutely wonderful. She is a caring Irish host and she took good care of us.

The room was big enough, not extra large if you have a big suitcase.

Beautiful location and accommodating host. Even drove us about twice when we couldn’t get a taxi. Went above and beyond.

Joan gave us a lift into Clonakilty that evening which was very nice of her. Lovely breakfast in the morning very nice stay.

We loved this place. It's overlooking one of the bays and was so peaceful and definitely what we needed. Joan is a lovely host. Clonakilty is a pretty town with a supermarket and lots of eating options.

Joan was an excellent host. We were attending a wedding nearby and she allowed us to check in to get changed. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options. The views are great and the property was close to Clonakilty town. We will be back!

With car everything was close. Clonakilty a few minute drive, and the Warren Beach was about 17 min drive.

Breakfast was lovely and plenty variety too choose from. Lovely scones and brown bread.

An en-suite would have been nice but bathroom was spotless and plenty towels.

Mooie ligging, de vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van eigenaresse Joan. Ze heeft ons zelfs naar het restaurant gereden en weer opgehaald. Het lekkere ontbijt. Fijne bedden.

We stayed for just one night, but we have very fond memories of our stay. From the very beginning, we were welcomed by a lovely elderly lady who showed us to our room and explained everything. The room with a private bathroom looked exactly like in the photos – clean, cozy, and very comfortable. We booked a stay with breakfast included, and what surprised us most was having breakfast together with the other guests at one table. It created such a warm and family-like atmosphere that we will remember for a long time. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. This place has a truly special charm, and we can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to relax.

Joan ein sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Das Parken war sehr gut auf dem Privaten Hof. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wird von Joan selbst zubereitet, mit viel Liebe! Joan sorgt sich gut um ihre Gäste. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber für eine Nacht ausreichend.

Der Spalt zwischen der Badezimmertür kann sehr unangenehm sein bei 2 Personen. Ich finde den Preis etwas teuer für das kleine Zimmer

So stellt man sich ein B & B vor! Joan ist eine sehr liebe Gastgeberin. Ich habe dort 3 Nächte verbracht, nach meinen Ausflügen wurde mir immer Tee und Kekse angeboten. Sehr leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Schönes Zimmer mit kleinem Bad und tollem Ausblick.

La situation géographique est top. Les fenêtres de notre chambre donnaient côté mer !! De l'autre côté c'est le parking mais il n'empêche que la vue est magnifique quand on sort. L'hôte nous a accueillie avec une tasse de thé, trop gentille ! Le petit déjeuner était parfait. J'aurai aimé y passer plus de temps pour profiter encore plus du coin.

Un peu froid dans la chambre quand nous sommes arrivés. La fatigue n'aidant pas ! Mais une fois au lit, on a bien dormi.

Close to clonakilty and down the road from Dunmore House where I attended a wedding. Joan had a breakfast ready every morning. Clean and ideal if attending a wedding or visiting local area.

The B & B was situated a 5 minute drive from town centre and had a waterfront setting. The area is very peaceful and had off street parking. Joan was a great host and supplied several options for breakfast.

Ideal location. Spotlessly clean room and en-suite. Shampoo conditioner and shower gel provided. Hostess extremely friendly and made us very welcome.

We stayed a couple of nights in Joan’s B&B and we were very well satisfied with our stay. The bedroom was comfortable and very clean. Joan’s home cooked breakfast was really excellent with a good range of food. The host was very friendly and chatty too.

Everything was fine and our bedroom had a beautiful sea view.

An incredible stay. Joan is such a kind and generous host.

Lovely location. Although we didn't arrive until 9.30 pm, we were provided tea, coffee and snacks which we appreciated very much.

Une 1ère étape très sympa sur la Wild Atlantic Way, un accueil chaleureux, une chambre très propre avec une très belle vue sur la baie. Cadre très agréable Un très bon petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons.

We had a very pleasant stay at Joan's B & B. It was very convenient to Dunmore House and there was a beautiful sea view from our room.Joan was very welcoming and helpful.

Very clean and friendly owner

The B-and-B is well situated next to an ocean inlet 7 minutes drive from Clonakilty. If you're interested in 'Trad' music, we highly recommend DeBarra's in town. Here we heard our favourite Trad music from all of Ireland. DeBarra's is known to locals as far away as Dublin. Joan was very kind and served a wonderous breakfast!

Joan was the loveliest of host, she cooked a wonderful breakfast and was so friendly and helpful.

Siamo stati benissimo seppure per una sola notte (abbiamo sempre viaggiato, una notte per posto); e qui abbiamo avuto il più bel risveglio di tutta la vacanza siccome il bb si affaccia direttamente sul mare e quella mattina c'era il cielo azzurro: uno spettacolo. La sig.ra Joan squisita e simpaticissima, la colazione buona! Non possiamo che consigliare questo bb
