Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Man hat super viele Restaurants direkt ums Eck - zum Shuttlebus für die Berge ist man ebenfalls schnell gelaufen. Das Zimmer war super, vor allem für diesen Preis. Das beste am Hotel ist aber das Personal. Alle waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem der Hotelbesitzer. Er spricht Englisch und hilft einem bei allen Anliegen. Egal ob Empfehlungen für Wanderwege oder die Organisation von Taxis.

Wegen einer Taifunwarnung und gestrichenen Zügen musste ich von jetzt auf gleich eine Fahrt nach Shanghai organisieren. Der Hotelbesitzer hat mir unglaublich intensiv geholfen, eine sichere und faire Option zu finden, damit ich nicht abgezockt werde. Obendrauf hat er mir noch ein Ladegerät geschenkt, weil ich meines im vorherigen Hotel auf dem Berg vergessen hatte. So viel Großzügigkeit und echte Hilfsbereitschaft sieht man selten. Ein toller Mensch

Nice place with river and mountain view. ~3 km from the bus station. Everything was clean, the room was loft-stylish. Kettle, cups, towels and dental kit were included. The most important: Super owner - very hospitable, attentive and speaks fluent English:) He explained us the preferable mountain route, where to get tickets. People like that guy really make the world better.

Amazing hotel. The service we received was so good. The host speaks great English and is happy to help you plan your hike and transport to and from the hotel. They offer free baggage service and a really cool place just to unwind and enjoy a coffee/tea/beer. Amazing value for money. 10/10

Exceptional staff, very hospitable

The Host was amazing. He helped us plan our Huangshan Trek, taking us through the whole thing. He was easy to talk to, mixed amazing drinks and made the whole process an easy one. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountain.

The place, beautiful. But the very best was the host Timo!! He helped us as a friend since day one. We'll miss him. The lobby is inviting and well thought of, as well as the room. Clearly they put a lot of love in the project.

It’s a unique charming boutique hotel. The location is very convenient to go to the Yellow Mountain south entrance. Hotel staff is welcoming and friendly, good value, recommend!

Absolutely loved this hotel an the kind staff/owner who spoke really good english. We were picked up at Tangkou bus station upon arrival which was great. The room was spacious and had a balcony and bath tub which we hadn't expected but very much enjoyed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels crisp and white. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the bus transfer station for Huangsha Mountain. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around and it's a rather quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.

A great base for trekking in the Huangshan Mountains. The hotel manager knows the mountains very well and gave us detailed advice on where to go and how to plan our hikes. He pointed out many important details that are especially useful if you are visiting the area for the first time. Communication in English was easy and smooth. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone planning to explore Huangshan. We also got help arranging shared transport to Huangshanbei Railway Station at a good price. There is also a nice café in the hotel lobby.

If you are planning a visit, keep in mind that the weather in this area can change very quickly. It is necessary to be equipped with a raincoat and sunscreen with good UV protection, sunglasses etc.

Outstanding hospitality. I might be partial, as I befriended the manager Timo and the receptionist Xiao Lin. The room is very cozy with outstanding river view; room 201 has a river view bath tub. The common area on the ground floor is great for socializing (try the milk based cocktails!) with other hikers and the fattest cat ever Mimì. Free laundry is a big plus. I found a second home at 0517.

Skvělá poloha v hezkém městečku, moc milí lidi na hotelu, komunikace v angličtině, rychlé reakce na zprávy na wechat. Určitě bychom se vrátily. 10 minut pěšky je autobusová zastávka odkud se asi 30 minut jede k začátku Žlutých hor

Problémy se studenou vodou, ale na 2 noci to nebyl velký problém :)

Great location near the Huangshan walks and restaurants, helpful staff saved us from needing to hire a guide for our walk, and helped us secure reliable and safe shared transport to the station. Rooms are comfy and offer lovely views of the town and mountain.. great town for travellers, quaint, quiet and safe.

Had a great stay at 0517! The host was very helpfull with anything from transport to the train station to hiking trails and transport back and forth. The hotel itself is really nice and with great atmosphere. One of the best hotels I have stayed in during my travels to all over the world, especially when it comes to value for money!

Tout était génial ! Les propriétaires parlent anglais, ils sont très gentils. On nous a donné du thé en arrivant. La chambre est super les lits super confortables, terrasse et proche de tout et 5 min de l’entrée de Huangshan

Timo the inn operator and his staff. Timo speaks good English, is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area as well as hiking in Huangshan. Able to give advice based on one's fitness level. He arranged for a cab to pick me up from and to the train station at a reasonable price. Room is spacious with a stylish decor. Easily one of the best inns in Tang Kou area. Stayed 4N in April. Will definitely stay in 0517 inn if goes back to Huangshan again.

The location was a 10 minute walk to the transfer station where you catch the buses to the park. Staff were phenominal and went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing time. They gave some great route recommendations for my day of hiking and even drove me to a restaurant when I was craving hot pot in the evening. My room was a good size and clean. There is no elevator but if youre here to hike, you should be okay climbing up a couple of stairs as that is what you'll be doing the entire time you're in the park. They will also organise a shared taxi if you need to and from the train station for 30 RMB. All in all, 10/10! Would recommend anyone stay here.

My friend and I had a twin room, which the friendly staff upgraded as there were fewer bookings during our stay. The hotel looks exactly like the photos. The room was very comfortable, exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. The hotel itself very cool and boutique (as the name suggests). Everyone was very friendly (cat included), spoke great English and even helped us plan our trip to the mountain the following day. After our hiking day, we were able to grab food easily as the hotel is within a 30 sec walk to family-run restaurants, a convenience store and a bakery. When we returned, there was a good vibe in the lobby/bar area with other guests playing darts, with the hotel staff joining in and offering drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

I used Apple Maps when in China, but I don't believe that the hotel has a location marker on there - might be worth adding for ease of finding the hotel. Additionally, we found it difficult to know where the hotel car pick-up point was at the bus terminal in Tangkou Town. If I was to stay again, I would just get a taxi (DiDi) from the train station as they aren't too expensive in China.

Sehr zuvorkommend Besitzer, der einen direkt mit allen notwendigen Infos und Wander Karte ausstattet. Der Eingangsbereich mit Bar ist sehr einladend und entspannt. Unser Zimmer hatte alle Annehmlichkeiten inkl. sehr gemütlichem Bett. Nach unserer Tages Wanderung haben wir so fertig ausgesehen, dass er uns aufs Haus eine Cola gegeben hat, einfach super lieb!

El trato del personal fue muy bueno, nos fueron a recoger a la salida del parque nacional ya que el autobús nos dejó en una localización distinta de la esperada. También nos facilitaron el servicio de llegada y salida a la estación de trenes.

Tout était parfait ! Le personnel est accueillant et arrangeant. Ils nous ont donné une carte et détaillé l’itinéraire pour la montagne de Huangshan et ils peuvent garder les valises le jour de votre départ. L’établissement est magnifique et les chambres sont très confortables ! Vous pouvez prendre le petit déjeuner sur place le matin et pour les repas, vous pouvez commander facilement sur alipay et manger sur les tables communes ou dans votre chambre.

Very nice reception by the friendly, English speaking manager of the hostel, who gave us very helpful instructions. Cosy hall and good location to reach the South Gate of the Huangshan Mountains.

La ubicació és excel·lent per poder anar caminant a buscar el bus per anar a les yellow mountains. Molt bona comunicació amb el personal de l'hotel. Són molt amables, simpàtics i sempre amb un somriure. Et fan sentir com a casa. Parlen molt bé l'anglès, van respondre a totes les meves preguntes abans d'arribar, durant la meva estada i també quan vaig marxar. I em van ajudar en tot el que vaig necessitar, per exemple, em van enviar un cotxe perquè em vingués a buscar a Hongcun i també per poder anar fins a l'estació de Huangshan. L'habitació és gran i el llit és comfortable. Hi ha restaurants i botigues a prop.

Me and 2 mates stayed at this hotel between 3.-5. january. We would highly reccomend this hotel, not only for its excellent acilities but primarly for the superbly polite staff. Their service made our trip! Even since we arrived late, a staff memeber at the reception immediately guided us to where we could find food. The next day, we were given a good and detailed guide for hiking the Huangshan Mountain and even proided free rain ponchos to us :) This type of service and care was something we were really gratefull for! <3

Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolle Lage. Uns wurden Informationen und Tipps zu Ausflügen gegeben und die Unterkunft hat sich um Fahrer gekümmert und uns gratis Tee bereitgestellt. Sehr empfehlenswert! Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Im Winter kalt aber man konnte mit der Klimaanlage heizen also kein Problem.

We arrived a bit earlier than the check-in times, but were allowed to check-in anyways. The staff was very friendly and helped us planning the trip, what to see and what to take into consideration.

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly. They picked me up with their own vehicle from Tangkouzhen twice, and also helped me arrange a transport back to Huangshan North station. They are able to speak English proficiently too which is a big plus. The rooms are clean and the lobby is cosy. The location is good (10 mins walk to the bus station to go up Huangshan) and many eateries and a few supermarkets around. 10/10 will recommend to stay here if you are in the Huangshan area!

Timo, the owner, was very helpful as he spoke english well enough to help us with our plans for the mountain day. He gave us a map and a recommended route that worked well. The rooms are nice but expect a firm mattress. Great location within the town with easy access to restaurants and everything else.

No water (hot or cold) from 10pm to 8:30am. This may have been seasonal however as we visited in December after periods of no rain. Only a drop toilet in the lobby.

The owner went above and beyond to help me make the best of my trip - he gave me great tips on which routes to take on the mountain, helped organize a ride to get me to the village of Hongcun and back, and generally was just such a friendly and helpful guy. In my mind, that in itself is good enough reason to stay here and not elsewhere. The hotel itself is cute and very modern, and is well located within walking distance to the Huangshan tourist buses. Also the village itself where it is located, although generally just a stopover village to get to the mountain, does still have a relaxed and authentic feel to it (at least in November when I visited).

Great location, within walking distance from the south entrance of Huangshan. The owner speaks English and helped us in everything: recommended a hiking route, organised transfers to the railway station and recommended local restaurants, so we had a very pleasant stay.
