Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Loved the patio where you can hang out and see what the turtles are up to! Loved the smell of the sheets, it was all spotless. Also very clear system if you want your room cleaned. Fresh fruit and juice in the morning, delicious coffee. Nice overall vibe.
Not much to comment - the breakfast area is a bit cramped but that's just a minor detail. It's understandable that they want to avoid people taking food from the breakfast for their hike, but then they make it extremely easy for those rooms that have their own little terrace next to the breakfast area :D. Folks who don't have the terrace (or who are very honest) can buy sandwiches or pic-nic from the hotel, which is a nice offering in se, but seeing what it included also made me feel a bit silly. Again, minor details - would come back!

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Clean room, lovely architecture of the building. Comfotrable bed. Ocean view. Decent breakfast with fresh fruit of many kinds (no vegetables, though). Kettle, hairdryer and a fridge in the room.
Only one good cofee (espresso) per person at the breakfast (you can have buckets of bad coffee, if you don't mind).

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Gästehaus.Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr sehr freundlich,hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, für ein so kleines Haus war die Auswahl sehr gut und vieles wurde frisch zubereitet. Besser kann man so ein Gästehaus nicht betreiben, ich komme sicher wieder!

Zimmer war kleiner als auf den Fotos suggerierte wird. Sehr eng, Fenster zur Straße. Frühstück startet erst um 08:00 Uhr (schlecht für Wanderungen bei der sommerlichen Hitze)

Staff were exceptionally helpful and even prepped an early breakfast for us the night before as we had to leave very early. Would 100% reccomend!

This was one of the most expensive places I stayed while on the Fishermen's Trail and compare to others, it's simply not worth it. No free coffee, in my room there was only tea available and for a coffee you had to pay. Walls are very thin and you hear people talking until late hours. Even though the breakfast was nice, in the moment I stepped into the room someone was shouting at me through the whole room asking what my room number was and if it was just me or someone else. Very hostile and made me feel uncomfortable.

Das Haus wird häufig von Wanderern auf dem "Fischertrail" frequentiert. Die wollen früh starten und früh früstücken. Wer gerne etwas länger schläft und geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen.

Para lavar y secar la ropa, te cobran como €12..1 remera, 1 top y 1 par de medias... La poca o nada amabilidad del personal es de notar..y no hablan ningún idioma que no sea portugués. Vaso, solo 1 y descartable en el cuarto.. Para la pava y la heladera, y si necesitas enchufar el celular, habia sólo 1 enchufe, el otro del baño, es para el secador, y pocos cables llegan a esa altura. Tema desayuno: les pedi, como lo estoy realizando en toda mi ruta Vicentina, si podían dejarme algo preparado, para desayunar en la habitación, ya que sali 6am...y no llegaba a desayunar. Me trajeron literalmente: 1 mini brioche de paquete, jamón y queso ( 4 fetas), una manzana, un yogur que lo deje, y 1 cafe instantáneo.. Fui a pedir, si podían completar o cambiar y me trataron tan mal, que fui al super, me hice de lo necesario, y fin. La cama es muy chica, el baño ni hablar.. ni bidet, ni shampoo, crema. En fin, no lo recomiendo en absoluto, por más que gerencia se puso en contacto conmigo, tampoco entendieron, que no queria almuerzo, sino desayuno.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Ein kleines Guesthouse für eine Nacht, aber nicht länger! Netter Innenhof, welcher angenehm kühl ist. Frühstück ist im Freien auf der Terrasse möglich. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Die Lage ist gut - Restaurants und der Strand sind leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Fischerweg.
Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sehr klein, Bett nicht so gemütlich, Bettdecke nicht komplett überzogen, sondern nur mit einem Bettlaken eingeschlagen. Dies verrutscht immer und ist bestimmt beim vorherigen Gast auch schon verrutscht... Nicht sehr hygienisch! Frühstück von der Auswahl her o. k., aber die einzelnen Speisen schmeckten nach nichts.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Der Check in war super unkompliziert. Die Gastgeberin und alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Im Innenhof gab es Wasserschildkröten :) Ich glaube es kommt ganz darauf an, welches Zimmer man gebucht hat. Ich persönlich habe das günstigste Zimmer und somit ein Einzelzimmer gebucht, da ich den Trail gewandert bin und eigentlich nur ein Bett zum schlafen brauchte. Das Zimmer entsprach optisch dem, was auf den Bildern zu sehen war und war nicht besonders groß, oder gemütlich, dafür aber funktional und es gab alles was man für eine Übernachtung brauchte.
Leider gab es etwas wenig Steckdosen und davon keine neben dem Bett. Die Steckdose im Bad funktionierte nur mit dem Licht zusammen. Über dem Bett war der Sicherungskasten, der mit einem Warnschild markiert wurde. Dieser hat nachts geleuchtet, was ich persönlich als störend empfunden habe.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Quarto muito espaçoso, com muita luz e cama confortável. A casa de banho era pequena mas funcional e limpa. O Hotel fica perto do trilho dos pescadores, a 5 min das praias e da zona dos restaurantes e comércio. O pequeno almoço (incluído) é bom, com uma boa variedade de fruta, queijos, ovos e sumos. As duas senhoras que servem o pequeno-almoço são muito simpáticas.
A senhora da receção que nos recebeu não era muito simpática, e deu-nos informação errada (indicou que não havia mercearias abertas ao domingo, mas havia duas mercearias, geridas por indianos, que estavam abertas). O quarto do piso térreo tinha as janelas diretamente para a rua e não tinho onde estender a roupa (os apartamentos do 1º piso, com uma vista mais agradável, tinham um pequeno estendal). O pequeno almoço poderia ter mais variedade de pão e começava um pouco tarde para nós (às 8:00) sem possibilidade de take-away mais cedo

Rosa dos Ventos is at the beginning of town and close to the Fisherman’s Trail. You enter into a charming courtyard and your room is very nice & neat. The included breakfast was plentiful and had many options. We particularly loved the urn of coffee!

Reviewed May 15, 2026Krásny hotel, bylo to jako oáza klidu v centru městečka. V átriu hotela byla fontána a v ní želvy, kolem bylo příjemné posezení ve stínu. Milá obsluha, hezké čisté pokoje, snídaně bohatá, akorát káva nic-moc, bylo ale možné nahradit čajem, nebo džusem.

Reviewed May 10, 2026Die wunderschöne Unterkunft hat einen Innenhof mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Unser Zimmer ist im oberen Teil und hat eine Sitzecke mit Sonnenliegen! Sehr schön und gemütlich. Das Zimmer ist klein, aber sehr schön. Das Bett sehr bequem. Das Bad ist klein, sauber und neu. Die Dusche ist herrlich. Der Frühstücksraum ist klein und voll. Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker! Wir lieben es. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
