Reviewed Aug 9, 2026The property was clean and nice with beautiful view of mountains form the room and play area. The trees lawn and entry parking is exceptional. Bf is mind blowing specially he staff serving us hot choley Bhattee or paratha as asked.
ac was missing which made the room claustrophobic at Night in August summers hot nights. The room follows up a lot for dinner order and calls even for bf when u r sleeping which is disturbing during a Relaxing holiday if u r sleepy and want to sleep till late missing ur bf.

View from the window was not fair in this price. They should add plants/ or work on beautification of the ground floor view. People paying premium price for a property should have proper aesthetic for all category of rooms.

There is construction coming up so there is some mild noise and the view from the rooms is blocked because of the new construction. But that is Windermere’s property extension.

A special mention about Mr Iainang … a very courteous, polite & efficient front office staff . He was always available and eager to help us with any assistance required for our trip from arranging the vehicles to scheduling our sightseeing in the best possible time available . Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Very good food quality, we tried continental as well Indian dishes. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very polite and helpful. Must stay if you are planning a trip to Shillong.

STAFFS SPECIALLY IN DINING WERE UNPROFESSIONAL, DESPITE REPEATED REMINDER DIDINT PLACE NAPKIN /BOTTLE ON TABLE. BREAKFAST MENU CONTAINED CAN JUICE WHICH IS SHEER DISGRACE CONSIDERING A PAY STRUCTURE OF 11000/ NIGHT, BREAKFAST MENU NOT UPTO MARK. DURING CHECK OUT INSTEAD OF CHECKING ROOM DURING LUGGAGE CARRY THEY ASKED TO WAIT FOR 10 MINUTES EVEN WHILE MY CAR WAS ON PORTICO. VERY ANNOYING

1. Felt like we were living on a construction site. Started from 7 in the morning went on till 10 in the night. 2. The pillows - you’d rather sleep on bricks. 3. The Wi-Fi was very low. 4. What is not demonstrated in the pictures is that the basic category rooms are two basements down with a beautiful view of a cement wall and sewage pipe. 5. Breakfast - They charge for espresso. 6. They call you so many times even after asking them not to, for every meal! Can be taken as a good thing about the property, but in my opinion they should respect it when a guest asks to not be called for every meal.
