Hotel Aketa Rajpur Road Dehradun, Dehradun

The staff (both waiters and management in the lobby) were exceptionally courteous and did all they could to assist me with any queries. The hotel is very clean and very well run.

Location, hospitality and food. It's just amazing

Nothing at all

Everything. The breakfast selection was great, beds comfortable and the staff were very professional and friendly. Could not fault this hotel in any way. Have stayed at 5 star hotels during my holiday in India and this has been above those hotels

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Aketa. The Hotel staff provided us the best services- Guest Services including front desk staff and restaurant staff. All went over and above to assist us. The room is fully equipped with all amenities. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay here and we would stay here again, next time we visit Dehradun.

Excellent spread, but could do with a greater variety of non-vegetarian stuff. The location was just right.

A clean, beautiful, comfortable Hotel near the city center, with supportive Staff and high level quality food. We strongly suggest to visit Aketa.

Breakfast was exceptional. Big and tasty spread. The hotel was located a little set-off from the road (behind a big lawn)., which gave it a nice setting. The gym facilities were appreciated. Overall, it was nice and quiet indoors.

The dinner food menu was misleading. Even talking to the staff didn't clarify things. However, after getting served items I wasn't expecting, the staff did provide me with a complementary basic salad. Drinks were expensive .

Comfortable and modern hotel with friendly staff. I was alone and felt looked after by them. I booked a single room but they gave me a double and they also gave me free breakfast for four days (because I was annoyed about the service charge on the room rate!). The location is fine - although it's on the main road of Dehradun, it's set away from the highway, so it's quiet. There are many restaurants nearby. Ama cafe is the best.

10% service charge on the room rate and food.

The staff was courteous and helpful.

The Wifi was extremely poor. The property charges service charge at the rate of 11.2%, which is not permitted. They will charge the guest with service charge. But in the invoice they will write 'Service charge is voluntary, optional and at guest discretion'. This is highly unethical.

Neat & clean rooms, good location, good staff, decent food

Nothing really

I loved the room, so beautiful and well furnished, and the restaurant - with all the American food on the menu- it was such a welcome change!! But the best part of this hotel is its staff, especially Abhishek, who went far and above to help a foreigner feel safe and comfortable. He has earned my utmost respect, and I would stay at Hotel Aketa again just because of his professionalism and caring demeanor. Thank you again, Abhishek!!!

They should provide heating system in winter, which they rejected to do so ( in the month of December ). I am very much disappointed by their lack of hospitality to their customers.

Great food and great service. We stayed there as our friend’s wedding festivities were organized by them. Everything was done very tastefully!

Everything, a first class Hotel.

Hotel employees were good

Best location

Food n facilities

Clean rooms , helpful staff and good food

The ambience, the rooms the staff

Pricing, I feel it's a little overboard

Room was quiet and staff helpful. It gets a little quiet outside so the best option is to book a cab for travelling to other parts of the city once its dark.

The room has basic facilities and is of a decent size but definitely not spacious. The food options are very limited in the restaurant almost like a set menu buffet laid out, which we did not opt for. It is value for money and better than the usual OYOs. They have the opportunity to upgrade facilities/services.

Very welcoming staff, everyone friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make my stay perfect. Butter chicken the Best I have eaten in a long time. Breakfast a lovely spread of Indian and Western cuisine. Room spotless and comfortable Smoking cubicle on the same floor. Will definitely recommend this Hotel. I will be staying here again.

Nothing not to like...

Breakfast was Good. People working there are courteous and helpful. Food quality was good. Location is good.

Manu is short and limited. A travel desk can help customers.

very clean property well maintained

ok

Amazing staff and really comfortable and clean rooms. Would gladly return here.

clean, friendly staffs, very comfortable stay! the hotel also arranged transportation for us to visit mussoorie! breakfast was good

location may not be the most centralised but defn not a dealbreaker

Absolutely loved it - however, it is a business hotel not a family hotel (I missed play area for my 2 year old daughter)

No Specific area for any activity. Mostly a business hotel.

I liked the ambience of the whole place. First of all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I found the rooms were really cozy, neat and clean with a lovely tea/coffee set up and the bathroom was equipped with all the necessary things and spotlessly clean. The room was silent and devoid of any disturbance and there was a nice view of nature from the window. The breakfast was sumptuous and there was enough variety to satisfy the palate. The location is perfect and central to the happening places on Rajpur Road. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller and I would look forward to more stays for my future visits here.

wifi didnt work well for me.

The bed was comfortable and the food was amazing.

The room was too small for the price we paid and the property seemed over priced when visited in-person. Pictures are nicer.

We reached the hotel after a long flight and a fairly long drive. The hotel was excellent with regard to its location and the room was quiet. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the hotel.

The welcome drink was refreshing but much too sweet

The breakfast was good. Staff was quite helpful and courteous. The location is very central

There should be smoking areas on each floor

great people and great property

nothing

location, rooms were big and ver very clean, beautiful interior, very polite staff

everything was good
