We arrived on thrusday 18 de room wasn't ready to be occupied, the refrigerador wasn't working they had no soap and toilet paper we were on third floor and the elevator never worked, they never cleaned the room until sundey when we asked very bad experience I'll never use expedia again...
Gabriel made our stay wonderful! We ended up having to swap rooms the first day, and he helped us to our new room himself. All the staff are kind and patient, and the beach has waves like we'd never seen before. The swim up bar was definitely a highlight!
Very calm, Homey feeling.
The food at the buffet wasnt good things tclosed too
Great place great service, a little older but for the price it was amazing!!
The restaurant the Grill is very underwhelming for the time you'll wait to get a table and to order. Don't expect your steak to be tender. I got half a fork worth of carrot puree with my steak main course. I feel bad for anyone who spent the extra 2600 pesos on the tomahawk steak. Or the 2800 for steak and lobster.
Good food (options and quality), good service and activities, room was spacious. Liked the pool options and was kid friendly with a small kid slide pool and kids club. Great stay overall!
Had a great stay here at the BelAir. We actually got upgraded to the Krystal Grand along with some friends we went there with. The food and drinks were excellent. Overall had a great vacations and would recommend this resort.
Not much of foods options. Everything is kind a average. I guess what you paid is what you get 😂
Great place for family, room location was quiet , the only suggestion would be let the guest staying st BelAir that the Krystal Grand is where you make your check-in since they are together which made just a little confuse for us to find the lobby for check-in.
Lack of communications, limited english, not oriented front desk. For those Expedia travelers double check the hotel advertisement before booking. As we booked Belair Sunclub hotel but they put us in Krystal Grand..
Front desk servicers need to do faster. Need more food and change food menu every day. Like the big Pools and some young waiters at the pool are very friendly
Very basic. We did not do the all inclusive. Room was in separate building, Bel Air was bought by Krystal Grand. Parking and check in we're difficult to navigate . Check in was at the Krystal Grand, which wasn't communicated before arrival. Staff is super accomoyand helpful. Room had nice kitchenette but few other amenities/extras
Beautiful view and room.
We have booked with BelAir and ended up at Krystal Grand..don't know why but I guess its okay. Either way we won't go back. Our rooms were Very, very noisy.not only because the highway was very close but because of all the noise people-staff from hotel were making while doing their chores. Food was ok. I got sick from my stomach. Lots of flies around the food area. Only once we were able to eat at the Italian restaurant and it was a joke. Missing a lot of plates from menu. Almost all of the staff was nice. The one who got our trust was this youg guy from the pool named Urias, Daniel and Cecilia from the Buffet O were really really kind too. Urias was very friendly and he even recognized us from the distance and always wave at us. I didn't like the area because there was construction on the highway. And everything was very far away. So we wont go back soon. We have stayed at better hotels.
Nice hotel a little outdated. They highway has highway noise but the food was excellent
Subpar 1st an
My room was not at BelAir, it was at Krystal This was a disappointment Krystal is ok, the service is not what I expect from a high rated hotel
It was quite an eventful process to get checked it. Staff was helpful but we arrived at noon and got a room about 4. We were able to use the property until we checked in which was nice.
Very nicely kept Staff very good
We had a very good vacation!! Our concierge, Gabriel, was amazing!! Upstairs bartender made the most AMAZING mojitos!! Food was delicious and lots of choices!!Our only complaint was housekeeping!! They “missed” our room several times. All in all I would highly recommend staying here!! !
The Expedia team members at the hotel, Gabriel and Omar, was. Way helpful. They provided an upgrade to our team and booked different restaurants everyday. Great service
It was okay check in was weird had to walk across to the other property to check in and then walk back. The room was decent but the front door is loud can hear the traffic pretty good. The ceiling in the shower fell down on my head in the middle of the shower. Dry wall got into my eye and scratched it. Later that day had to go to the dr for eyedrops for the scratches on my eye. Told the front desk they sent someone and only said sorry at check out at the very least maybe should have discounted our stay.
Staff was very kind and helpful. I’d like to mention bartenders, mini bar service and housekeeping were my favorite! S/O to Carlos, main lobby bartender, he was kind, respectful and very polite!
Nice resort
Nos encantó todo.
Belair is on opposite side where everything is, the food was terrible.
Belair is on opposite side where everything is, the food was terrible.
We get there with are family had to wait 40 minutes for someone to check us in then put us in two of the worst rooms they had by the garbage cans that a truck came every morning at 7 o’clock and woke everybody up. The toilet didn’t work properly. Had somebody come up twice to fix it still didn’t work. The shower was plugged holes in the floor in the bathroom from the tile balcony door did not shut properly are open properly. The food at the buffet was very poor and limited, and the service was not very good. and before we left the air conditioner stopped working and the TV shut down. I would not recommend the hotel to anybody.
Diferent choices of restaurants, nice pools, big room, lots of employees helping
The cleanliness of this facility was amazing! The housekeeping actually does a great job. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. Food options were good. Drink options were great. Hotel had different activities everyday. The pools were great as well. The only small downside was that even though there is direct access to the beach from the hotel the beach area outside the hotel was not safe to swim. Unsure if this is year round or just certain times out of the year. Overall great and would definitely return.
The views are amazing and the staff is very kind. The rooms are a bit run down and there is a loud road just behind. But the property is gorgeous.
We had exceptional service from our concerige. Never have I stayed at a place when the concerige would message me ahead of time before the trip to ask if I had any questions and to give me information about my stay. Then during my stay he was constantly in contact with me to assist us. Great customer service!!
We stayed at the Bel Air/Krystal Grand in San José del Cabo for three nights in late April/early May. It’s a family-friendly, budget-conscious resort with nice pools and kid areas, and thankfully not a party scene—quiet and relaxed. Beach access was great, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The buffet was decent, rotating between Mexican and Italian themes, though options for picky eaters (like our 9-year-old) were limited. Room service nuggets were $15 with tip. Outside of the buffet, dining was underwhelming—the grill restaurant served a thin “New York steak” with five fries, two wings, and tiny ribeye skewers. We laughed and went back to the buffet. We initially checked into the Bel Air side, but both pullout sofas were broken and one bathroom latch didn’t work. Front desk staff there (notably Tania) was unhelpful and dismissive. We were eventually moved to the Krystal Grand side, which was more spacious but oddly laid out—we had to move furniture to use beds and dodge a low-hanging chandelier. Overall, we had a decent stay and enjoyed the beach and pool. The resort isn’t luxurious, but it’s fine if you’re after a mellow family trip. That said, hospitality on the Bel Air side could use improvement, and next time I’d check more reviews beyond just Expedia.
First off, I would love to give a huge thank you and appreciation to the care and attentiveness from Gabriel, from the front concierge. He was able to answer all of our concerns and worries before our arrival, during our stay, and even for the checking out process. Truly was a pleasure and made our vacation plans much smoother. The patiences and helpful hand from his service made the stay safe and like another home away from home. Thank you! For an all-inclusive package, the food for the week was limited (from my knowledge) to the “O buffet,” for most meals like breakfast and lunch. Which isnt so bad, considering it would change from day to day. It was cool that dinner is open for every restaurant on the resort; however, to have the best experience early arrival is recommended otherwise you might wait longer than expected. The drinks, non-alcohol were much better than the alcohol ones. The resort is family friendly for sure. There is an adult only pool, spa has to be booked in advance, wasnt able to visit the gym, but there is plenty to explore if stay for a short period. Overall, i would come back.
Wish there was more restaurant option for breakfast/ lunch
Service was poor, but location wasn't bad. You had to buy all inclusive to eat any food on property. Adult pool was clean, but amenities were out dated.
Great family vacation! Good food, service, fun time. The only bad part was that there is not enough lounge chairs around the pool areas.
Enjoyed our stay would definitely come back
The pool service was amazing! Julian, Rodrigo, Raul and Manuel were very friendly, inviting and accommodating. The view from our room was spectacular and I was surprised with a slice of birthday cake. Unfortunately, that's the only positive review we can give. We upgraded to the members area for a better view. We were told that we would have a butler to help us with reservations, but we never met or talked to anyone. When we wanted to order room service, we noticed that there was an upcharge, which is fine, however, we did not have a telephone in our room. Julian, once again was available to help. I waited at the hibachi to make reservations for an hour. We were all told that the the guy who was going to help us would be there at 3, but finally at 4, a nice gentleman at the concierge put down my name. Thankfully, we were able to eat dinner there. Just FYI, you're given 2 beers per day in your room fridge. You're charged if you want more.
We loved all the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Always helped with our luggage and answered any questions. Our room was just ok. Didnt have hot water, and shower pipes were leaking from the ceiling. But it was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. We absolutely loved the pools and restaurants as part of the Krystal grand resort! Overall we absolutely loved our vacation here.
Gabriel our cobtact person was amazing. The property itself had some hiccups but Gabriel made everything more enjoyable
Pool was not heated lounge chairs in terrible condition children running up and down the halls of the hotel all hours of the night buffet breakfast good lunch and dinner not so good!!
Is a good place to stay with family Food is 7 of 10 Staff is good , I will s
Gabriel was a phenomenal expedia host! He went above and beyond with a slightly delayed check in and moved us to Krystal Grand where EVERYTHING was sensational!! The room, cleanliness and staff were stellar. Mostly thanks to the helpful, kind and knowledgeable Gabriel from Expedia Mexico. Thanks again Gabriel.
The staff was really accommodating and their service was great. Food at the restaurants were pretty good and the buffet had a large variety. The property definitely needs new furniture but other than that it was a beautiful place to stay. Nice pools and very walkable. The Belair is a sister property with Krystal grand so all of the amenities are shared. Gabriel, the Expedia concierge, was very considerate and constantly checked up on us to ensure our stay was wonderful. Pedro, the bartender, and many other staff members worked extremely hard around the clock and gave us a wonderful experience. Views on the 4th floor gave an amazing ocean view!
Expedia was supposedly going to give a birthday gift/cake and it never happened.. the first day was a nightmare trying to figure out the room. Ismael and Jonathan were beyond great… Attentive and kind. Food was great, beach was amazing. Great stay overall
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and facility were well cleaned and maintained. Sufficient dining options and nice drink and snack bar on the pool side.
We went in with lower expectations for this resort and were blown away. Yes- the food is not the best (momma Mia down the beach was great and the resort restaurant closest to the beach was great for breakfast). However the location is great, amenities were clean and the view was fantastic. Ubers were cheap into town and to a more “swimmable” beach. We were contacted a week before by Gabriel the Expedia concierge who had a desk in the lobby - and he was outstanding. Honestly made our trip. Upgraded our room, helped when we needed water or a key. But he also found our lost wedding ring! And then coordinated for us to get it back- both Gabriel and Mario were very helpful. Our room had a couch that folded out that was big enough for my daughters (6/8) to share. Over all we really enjoyed our stay.
I would stay again!
Room was a one bedroom suite 750 sq ft. Run down furniture , small bathroom air conditioner sounded like it was getting ready for take off. Rooms are along the highway and all you hear is traffic noise all the time. Room is nothing special maybe a step up from a hostel. Food options limited , buffet sucked , sit downs were just okay. Good thing for the staff it’s about the only thing that made it all right. Older run down property which is charging an arm and a leg , you can find better properties fro same money. This one would be a 3 star at best.
Expedia host Gabriel was very helpful. Nice place.
This resort was one of the more affordable resorts. The location is right on the beach so it was easy to take a long beautiful walk. There’s no swimming (due to crazy waves). The only down side is that the resort has the beach on one side, and the highway close to the other side. The rooms weren’t sound proof, so you’d hear the constant waves crashing and loud traffic. There’s no special nights (white party/silent disco/foam pool party) but you get what you pay for! We sat by the infinity pool all the time and it was great. Lots of lounge chairs in the shade and in the sun. The buffet food was okay, the restaurant food was great!
We arrived at night, outdoor lighting in the garden was very pretty. In the daytime you can see the property needs painting/fixing/maintenance. Not a 5 star, maybe 3 1/2. Food was fine. Other guests either really liked the food or didn’t. Read other reviews about the drinks and I would agree, either drinks were very strong or seemed to have very little alcohol. We are not big drinkers so I didn’t care, after I saw they re-used all the plastic cups which appeared to be rinsed not sanitized I was less interested in having a drink poolside. There was a kids area but I saw very few children. There are very few activities organized …I mean if you have to list your single ping pong table on your website not much is going on here. Front desk staff seemed unhappy, waitstaff and housekeeping were great. My biggest complaint and in 10 visits to all inclusive Mexican hotels I have not had this - there is no evening entertainment, no shows, no magic show, no comedy show, no Vegas show, NOTHING! They have a tiny alley way area they that seats 10 for karaoke or they had someone playing a violin etc. Not enough poolside loungers. Also, the tables in the lobby areas are full of time share salespeople. For the guests who went on the “90 minute” presentation said they were there for 4 hours - for that they got a discounted or free tour. Not much to see in Cabo, the oldest church was built in the 70’s. If you are easily bored organize some things to do as the resort is boring.
A few highlights of the property-book the full package and get the amenities of the Altitude Club-get a room in that section on the beach or a junior suite in Krystal. Gabriel from concierge was amazing and booked all the reservations for us, made life easier. Go visit Hugo the bartender at Altitude Sky Bar-he's a gem! Food was hit or miss, could have been better, the hibatchi restaurant and taco night was the best in my opinion, and that was great. And everyday at this resort, you see the whales in the ocean, they put on a great show and the restaurant rings the bell when they see them! The beach in this location was beautiful.
Clean room with nice view
Best open beaches I've ever seen. Simply a beautiful resort.
Everything we could possibly needed was covered. Breathtaking room view. Clean room and facilites. Courteous staff. Buffet was excellent especially for breakfast and lunch, always staffed well. The ceviche did not disappoint. The sushi restaurant was also very good. Daniel in the Cafe and Alfredo in the bar were tremendous at taking care of us. Excellent location into San Jose del Cabo, short uber rides to good swimming beaches. Definitely reccomended.
I will start my review by saying that Gabriel our Expedia rep was amazing. Our vacation started off terribly because WestJet had delayed our flight and we weren’t able to get there until a day later than expected. Upon arrival we were greeted by extremely friendly staff and told we had been upgraded. We were brought to the Krystal Grand lobby where Gabriel then took over he made our experience great even after 2 long days of travel. I cannot say enough good things about this resort it was beautiful. My family and another stayed at Krystal Grand in Nuevo Vallarta last year and this property was way nicer. All of the staff were amazing and friendly, the restaurants exceeded expectations and were better than most all inclusive restaurants that I have been too. Overall this was resort was a 10/10 I will definitely be back!!!
We had a great stay at Krystal Grand Los Cabos. Check-in was smooth despite a delayed flight, and we were upgraded from the Bel Air section to a spacious room with a partial ocean view. Housekeeping was excellent, cleaning daily and restocking the mini-fridge without being intrusive. While our balcony lacked outdoor furniture, we used chairs from the dining table, so it wasn’t a big issue. The food was decent. The Mexican restaurant was our favorite, and the poolside snack bar had great lunch options like burgers, nachos, and pizza. Although the resort seemed short-staffed, the team worked hard and delivered great service. It was also easy to explore local dining options in San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. The staff were fantastic. Poolside service was efficient, and the bartenders at the lobby and sports bars were friendly, even during busy times. The entertainment staff made the stay memorable with fun activities like aqua aerobics, bingo, and a Super Bowl party. Nighttime entertainment could use more variety, though karaoke nights were enjoyable. The location is excellent, just a short drive from the airport. The sunrises were breathtaking and visible from almost anywhere in the resort. The beach was beautiful but unsafe for swimming due to strong currents. Walking along the shore and spotting whales was unforgettable, and the “whale bell” at the buffet was a charming touch. Overall, Krystal Grand lives up to its 4-star rating, and we’d happily return.
The staff were amazing. Gabriel at concierge was very helpful and attentive. Hugo at the Sky lounge bar was amazing. Super friendly they make you feel very welcomed. Property could be a bit more clean but besides that, great place to stay.
Gabriel at reception was great! Very helpful. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly.
Esta muy bien ubicada y buenos servicios, necesita mejorar el mantenimiento de su mobiliario o cambiarlo.
Overall, our stay was a great experience! The food was below average and the restaurant service was hit or miss, but the pool and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Nice pools and vibes!
We did not actually stay at Bel Air Sun Club but were upgraded to the Palmilla at Krystal Grand. The concierge staff from Expedia were extremely helpful and were always there to help out. Great value for what we paid, the food and service were great.
The peace.
The staff at this property are wonderful, especially our concierge Gabriel. The property is nice, the rooms were clean and modern and the beach was lovely. The food is ok but even after dining at one of the restaurants, we would still end up at the buffet because it never seemed enough. We had some issues navigating a gluten allergy too as some of the menu items are mislabeled and the servers are not well informed. There isn't much to do in the evening which is likely fine for young families. We're a mid-forties couples and don't party or drink excessively but often found ourselves back in our room around 8:00 since there was much happening. Having said all that, we did have a pleasant and relaxing stay.
This was our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort. The resort was very clean and well maintained. The service by everyone on property was truly outstanding and above and beyond. The restaurant selections were plentiful and the food ranged from okay to very good. My only criticism is that we stayed on the road side of the property. This part of the property was extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night. Having said that, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend. Oh, and the whale watching from poolside was amazing!
Hold on to your belongings Locals can walk in the property as they please Outside of that it was a good experience
Our stay was lovely. Very nice and relaxing. Staff was amazingly helpful!! Shout out to our concierges Gabriel and José for all their help with any questions and making our stay great!! Appreciated the different dining options and the many pools! Pools and pool areas were always very clean! Fun events on certain nights!
The property has a nice rooftop bar area and the adult pool area was nice and quiet. The main pool area looked fun for kids. The Expedia Concierge Service did a great job also.
The best thing about this trip was the staff... they are quite simply the best... always willing to help with a smile abd chearful attitude!!
Robes in the rooms would have added great touch. Beds were comfortable. Some restaurants were under renovation during our visit.
I liked the convience of the location. The property is in light deferred maintenance. The food left something to be desired. I have never been anywhere at anall inclusive where the food was not good. Unfortunately it was not true here. The food was not good.
Some basics were missing like blenders, 24 hr food and very little evening entertainment. Happy we upgraded to Altitude as the rooftop bar was really nice and breakfast ala carte also nice. Beautiful view from room - due to the upgrade - and grounds/layout was nice.
Gabriel at the Expedia concierge was excellent. Checked in with us regularly and made certain we were having the best stay possible. Service in the altitude member areas was better than other areas but still was good. Very clean resort, great food and welcoming environment for kids!
Gabrielle welcomed me and made sure my stay was perfect. He accompanied me through all the bookings for excursions and even made sure my birthday was well spent. The hotel staffs were all so kind and loving! Best place to stay for a relaxing trip!
We Stayed at the BelAir Sun Club for one week. The baggage handling staff carried our bags, we were greeted with welcome drinks, the concierge upgraded our room to a nicer one with a better view for free and all of the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Close walking distance to money exchange, OXXO convenience store, around 2.5km to Walmart and 4km to lots of shopping at the Art Walk in San Jose Del Cabo. We had a great trip and would stay at this resort again. Thanks, Gabriel for taking great care of us! Brad.
I just want to start off my saying Thank you so much for having me BelAir sunclub Hotel Cabos . I appreciate your hospitality and the staff they were amazing. They made feel so welcomed and love there I had freaking blast ! The property was amazing and beautiful the view from hotel room was breathtaking. Therefore the only thing I think need be worked on is the food, it didn’t taste that good at all. I would like better tasting food. I also would’ve like if things stayed upon until 12am instead of 10am at night like restaurants and adults pools. I don’t think that very Inclusive at all inclusive hotel and how much money I pays for such. Lastly cleaninesss my sheet in my room were dirty and it took the hotel whole day to change. I had to ask twice to get my sheet change so I didn’t really like that. Other than those couple things that can all be worked on and fixed. I had a wonderful stay at the property. I want to say thank you all so much for my stay and I shall be back again!
Let me start by saying Gabriel Avila was an excellent concierge and most of staff was so helpful. The property is the problem. My room would have been nice but it was infested with roaches. I had to purchase my own bug spray just to skill the vermin. Housekeeping was sent to my room and we were told because we had room service that enticed the roaches. No the floor was infested because when they switched me to another room on the hall, it had roaches too! I asked the hotel to provide me with a partial refund since we did eat and drink there and they decorated my door for my bday. The manager said he could not refund me but instead offered me a 3 night stay for free. Now why would I go back to a hotel that has roaches! I don’t know if I am able to put the video and pictures on Expedia but I definitely will on Trip Advisor.
Excelente servicio. Especialmente del concierge Gabriel que nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitabamos. Gracias por todo!
Convenient. Overall clean. The staff was pushy when we first arrived. We didn’t know the place sells condos. We were on vacation, not looking for a condo.
The facilities are getting old, coming to the lobby area in the morning is like to be in an expensive flea market, everyone is trying to sell a tour, a sheared time condo, rent a car, a taxi, that makes a non restful hotel.
Nice resort but they need many more lounges around the pool and at the beach. Every morning by 7 am, all seating was already claimed. That was disappointing.
The refrigerator was not working throughout my stay
The service was really bad, they often bordering rude & inconsiderate. They needs lots sensitivity training.
Everything
The property is beautiful and altitude the only viable option which is an upgrade. Dining restaurants were limited in menu and options. There is absolutely no activities onsite nor entertainment. Drinks in the adult areas were delicious.
Great place. Exceeded expectations. Gabriel was a great ambassador and he set us up well. Will be back.
The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. However, I got disappointed with the food..few options to choose from ( besides buffet), very small serving and not tasty.
