Hyatt Place Los Cabos

Nice property

I had to stay at this property because of a medical emergency and could not fly for five days. Two of the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was OK and comfortable. Everyone on the staff was kind, professional, and courteous.

Access to the hotel was complicated due to construction in the area, which made getting to the property difficult. In addition, there was construction noise between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m., which affected my rest.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our kids and overall enjoyed the stay. It was withing walikg distance to resturants, a grocery store, and coffee shops. The hotel itself is clean and had a decent breakfast buffet.

This is more a business staying hotel than tourist. However, it had the regular type pool you see in standard USA hotels. Walking distance to the NOT swimable ocean. But you can walk the beach. Rooms clean with all you need. A fantastic morning breakfast! Many pilots and stewardesses stay here

The staff were very friendly and helpful.. the complimentary breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh options.. I would definitely recommend for location.. it was noisy outside because of the busy street close to the hotel, but when inside you could barely hear it.. I would get the rooms with the ocean view, it was worth the upgrade.

We stayed a week at Hyatt Place. It was a great experience and the staff were incredible. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with many options. The restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced. Everything was TOP NOTCH!

We stayed at Hyatt Place Los Cabos for 3 nights on a quick trip and everything was great! The hotel is safe, quiet, and in a very walkable area. Parking was super easy, which made things even more convenient. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety definitely a plus. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant stay. Would definitely come back for a longer visit next time!

Overall had a pleasant stay. Stayed four nights. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. There are two supermarkets within walking distance. Breakfast was good. They served eggs, chilaquiles, beans, fruit, and oatmeal. There are bus routes to Cabo San Lucas and downtown San Jose.

Okay for a overnight stay but that's about it it's certainly looks a little tired I was mold in Alberta lots of scratches on the walls food was certainly very average indeed staff were pleasant but seems confused at times

The Hyatt Place was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is heated and they have towels at the pool which is convenient. The buffet style breakfast in the mornings had a variety of foods from fresh fruit to typical Mexican dishes. The room was also spacious. We would definitely come back again.

Was trying to relax at the pool and a maintenance guy couldn’t find anything to do so he began chipping away at the concrete with the back of a claw hammer in an attempt to take something off the cement. The noise was beyond irritating. When I looked he could’ve went and retrieve a bucket and scrub brush or waited till the guests had left. However he pounded away for an hour. I had to leave.

Customer service is great. Staff accommodates customer necesities like check in earlier and late check out. It's a lot of construction around the area and it's not very clean. The San Jose del Cabo sign is not by the hotel, you need to walk 40 minutes or take transportation. Prices are just the same like USA. It's safe to take busses or taxis. The pool was cleaned and with warm water.

This is our first time visiting Los Cabos. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff, morning breakfast was excellent. We had nothing bur an awesome exsperince.

Stayed here for a couple days as a last minute extension of my vacation and gotta say it was a pleasant experience. Great bed, awesome breakfast, only a $4 uber trip to old town and some Amazing restaurants nearby like Sushito :) Walking distance. The only thing is that there is no pool, but its close to the beach if you want to walk a couple blocks

This is a lovely hotel. The room is huge and in great shape, including the bathroom. There's a nice view of the ocean from some windows. The breakfast is very varied. There's a big mall having lots of food and any other items one may need next door. The ocean is one block down the road.

I'm not easy to please, however, I cannot think of anything negative to say about this property! Breakfast great, room with a view, clean facility, friendly staff, good value, 2 blocks from the beach! 5 Stars

Hotel has 4 lane semi-freeway running in front and very noisy all night. Loud trucks back-firing into a roundabout, motor bikes drag racing at 4am. Usual well appointed Hyatt with good breakfast included and good staff. Would not book there again due to location - AVOID.

Clean, quiet, safe, and convenient location given it's walkable to the beach and is a short taxi/Uber ride to downtown/central San Jose del cabo. There's also two markets, a couple of banks and some restaurants within 10 minute walk

We had an amazing experience at Hyatt Place. The staff are friendly and nice. The place is very safe. It is walking distance to the beach. We love the buffet breakfast. They have a lot of choices. We are glad that they are changing some of the menu everyday.

Heated pool was nice! Breakfast was enjoyable, eggs, fruit, large choice of items. Easy access to intercity buses and local transport to Centro. $7 bus trip to airport via city bus. Stops near La Central shopping centre and 1 block from hotel. Short walk across the street to the beach and whale watching. Bring a chair.

We had a place in downtown San Jose del Cabo. It was so noisy we had to leave without a refund. I found this place to be quiet and professionally run. Thank you. Julie

It was everything I needed for my short stay

Hotel is very close to bus stop. The airport bus (Ruta del Desierto) stops at a block away north from the hotel. After you get off the airport bus, you can easily walk to the hotel by using the pedestrian skywalk to cross the transpeninsular highway. To go to Plaza Mijares located in downtown area, you take the city bus #3 that looks like the yellow school. The city bus stops and picks people up along Paseo Malecon San Jose in front of the hotel. You save lots of money by taking the city bus and the airport bus instead of taking taxi or Uber! My wife and I really enjoyed the breakfast there, it is very good and is free!

Hyatt Place was a great hotel for my friends and me. We wanted a hotel that was near things (walking distance to the beach, food options close by, even a market!) and a comfortable place to sleep. The area is quiet and walkable. Getting an uber or taxi is also easy to get to the Gallery District or Los Cabos. Overall, a good hotel at a great price!

Wonderful concierge, Rocio, delicious breakfasts, pool was poorly planned as it’s mostly shaded, all the time! Also pool is very loud as it’s next to the highway!

Nice clean room with a sofa. Appreciated the easy underground parking and breakfast which were both included in the price.

Excellent if you are not looking for a beach hotel

Good location for beach access and walking to town center. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice pool, never busy, but sometimes short of towells. Water station in lobby in afternoons was nice but having it available throughout the day would be nice.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The room was not clean upon arrival, which was already a red flag. On top of that, I could barely sleep because the front door didn’t seal properly, letting in noise and drafts, and the window kept shaking all night. To make matters worse, there was no staff on duty overnight, so there was no one to address these issues. The only real plus is the convenient location for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless major improvements are made

Very Central Hotel

Great spot in San Jose del Cabo at a reasonable price

For price and location this place can't be beat. Our room was spacious and relatively clean. They supply you with 2 snall bottles of water per day. The pool area is nice but shaded most of the day. The pool water is super warm which is rare in mexico. Their happy hour was a bust as they were missing drink ingredients most days. Easy access to the beach where we spotted whales and rays. Overall I would recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great location, staff were friendly and their breakfast succeeded our expectations. If you want somewhere quieter, this is the place.

Stayed at the hotel overnight before going to the airport in the morning. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Nice view of the ocean. Air conditioner a little noisy but got used to it. Staff at the front desk and restaurant were all pleasant and helpful. Hamburger was really good.

Our first time in this area- we were so pleased with our choice to stay at Hyatt Place. The staff were so friendly and responsive- the breakfast buffet was excellent! Very close to buses and the beautiful beach- great price point!

This is a wonderful hotel. The room I had was great. Clean room nice bed. Good pillows. and bathroom clean and working! AC works too. Little noisy fan. Will visit again.

Switched to this property from another 4 minutes away and it waa night day with this property soaring above the other very horrible hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating providing me with a phone charger when I left mine. I would stay again.

It was comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant and looked after our bathtub drainage issue. However we found the bar and food service sadly inefficient.

Very Central

This hotel was extremely well priced, within walking distance (3 min) of a lovely beach, and offered a delicious and ample complementary breakfast. Parking was free and just under the hotel. We enjoyed snorkeling at Playa Santa Maria (15 min drive) and hanging out in the cathedral plaza at old town each night (8 min drive). I recommend eating the churros in the plaza and the flan at Los Tres Gallos.

The breakfast was ‘cheap’ eg hotdog sausages cut into tiny pieces,and not much variety Coffee was gross, juice was mystery brand Not very hygienic as the area is a mess. Jars of jam,marmalade and peanut butter are contaminated. We end up going to a restaurant for breakfast

The hotel is beutiful, rooms look a little bit old but is cery clean. It is in the out side of San José so there are no shops or dining options other than the ones in the hotel. The staff was very nice

our room was dirty, hair all over the bathroom, had a broken toilet seat, broken phone, and supplies like kleenex and clean towels were low.

Aunque el hotel no tiene acceso directo a la playa, hay un pasillo casi enfrente que te permite acceder a la playa pública. También pudimos encontrar varios restaurantes caminando y disfrutar de una caminata nocturna. En las cosas no tan buenas es que la alberca del hotel es pequeña y la ubicación respecto a los edificios le hace sombra casi todo el día.

I liked that everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers were always polite and welcoming. Our rooms were clean everyday. We got fresh and clean bedsheets & towels everyday. Free breakfast is included( very delicious with many options). Parking lot is also available if you’re driving, Gym and pool are also available. At walking distance to the beach and main stores. 10/10 recommend.
