I love everything about our stay, although booking through this platform, we had to leave earlier than expected, and we could not receive any money back due to booking 3rd party, in which the hotel exclaimed, so we lost a night's stay, even though we actually came in a day earlier and paid extra for the earlier stay so it was a bummer losing a night paid for

O quarto tem um tamanho ótimo e é muito confortável em todos os aspectos.

O café da manhã foi extremamente decepcionante, considerando o preço da diária e o nível do hotel. Poucas opções e um cardápio que se encontra em qualquer esquina por 2 dólares. O ar condicionado do quarto também não era suficiente para o tamanho do ambiente.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, Jaime, Diana and Julio went the extra mile to accommodates our needs. Additionally, they provided useful information of interesting places around town. Breakfast and the overall services of the Maison Mexique were excellent.

In my humble opinion, it was not issue with Maison Mexique.

Muy bien ubicado, a solo unas cuadras del parque principal. La habitación muy cómoda y excelente presentación. Uno de los mejores hoteles que me he hospedado.

Me encantó la arquitectura, el interiorismo y el diseño del hotel. Los materiales tradicionales como el adobe y la piedra le dan un carácter muy auténtico y hacen que el lugar sea realmente especial y bonito.

En días de mucho calor, la habitación puede tardar un poco en enfriarse, probablemente por los materiales tradicionales que retienen la temperatura. Podría ser un área de mejora en términos de climatización, aunque no afectó de forma importante la experiencia.

Our first room had no window. We were moved to another room that had a partial skylight in the shower, and a tiny window that allowed very little light in from the courtyard.

La presión de la regadera super baja, el agua no calentaba, avisamos en recepción y lo revisaron pero duró caliente 2 minutos.

La habitación es bastante amplia y el hotel tiene una excelente ubicación podia acceder caminando a todos los lugares que quise conocer.

El piso de la ducha de la habitación 5 estaba muy liso, resbale la primera vez que la utlice.

Olor a humedad en las habitaciones, el baño también tenía un olor a caño, la habitación muy amplia pero sin ventanas (muy oscura) , el desayuno muy regular y la logística confusa.

Good location, clean room

Terrible communication with manager. We paid for a room with a bathtub — this was the main reason we chose and booked this hotel. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the bathtub was not available. The administrator was polite and genuinely tried to help resolve the booking issue. However, the manager, who was not on site, decided that this was our problem, and stated that in order to have a bathtub in the room, we would need to pay extra

Ubicación buena

Mala relación calidad precio. Muy caro para lo que es. Habitaciones frías, oscuras y húmedas. Agua sin presión y templada. Malos capuccinos en el desayuno. Pequeño snack de la habitación carísimo.

Decoracio i amplitud de les habitacions

Molt fosques i mal insonoritzades, sents els cotxes del carrer com si fossin dins de l’habitació. Vam demanar canvi perquè el bany de la 7 feia molta pudor de cloaca. Diuen esmorzar continental inclós, però només es un suc i un cafe amb un pancake, no ofereixen quasi res. Si deixeu el cotxe al valet parking (cost extra) haureu d’esperar almenys 20 minuts perquè us el portin. Surt a totes les webs de design i boutique hotel però està molt sobrevalorat.

La ubicación, la comida, el diseño y la vista en la terraza. El personal muy amable y atento. La habitación muy amplia y acogedora.

La regadera con muy poca presión de agua, nuestra habitación estaba en el piso de la entrada y era susceptible al ruido. Sugiero mejorar el aislamiento de puertas y ventanas para las habitaciones que dan a la entrada y al restaurante, además de mejorar la presión del agua.

This property absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. Miguel and Christian were so incredible. Miguel was literally the best house manager we have ever dealt with. We were emotional to leave. The rooms were exceptional, they were clean and comfortable and beautiful. The owners take so much pride in this property and it shows. The views on the decks were beyond. We cannot wait to return.

We loved the Maison Mexique and felt immediately at home there. The staff was amazing and could not have been more helpful. Great beds and a nice dark room with nespresso coffee machine and good bathroom facilities. The 3 rooftop terraces to enjoy a happy hour margarita and some tostados from the kitchen were amazing !! Great location a few mins from the main Square. We will be back !!

A destacar: El baño tenía demasiado olor a tubería.O indicamos en recepción No llegaba internet a nuestras habitación por lo que no pudimos ver la televisión. También lo comentamos al recepcionista, que intentó repararlo sin éxito

El staff es realmente amigable y servicial. Buscan ayudarte en todo momento, aún cuando está fuera de su alcance. Fue lo mejor de nuestra estancia.

El hotel se encuentra en la entrada al pueblo por lo que el tráfico de la calle afecta la tranquilidad de los huéspedes, aún dentro de las habitaciones. El internet del hotel no es nada confiable. Perdí una junta importante de trabajo porque jamás pude tener una conexión estable. Tuvimos varios problemas con la caja de seguridad. Al final, dejamos de utilizarla porque en repetidas ocasiones se quedó cerrada (con nuestras cosas adentro) sin que nadie pudiera abrirla por horas. Muy cerca de nuestra habitación había dos motores que arrancaban de manera intermitente tanto de día como de noche. (Bomba de agua y presurizador). Los cuartos son sumamente oscuros. Hay muchas lámparas decorativas pero ninguna resuelve realmente la iluminación. Además, tienen un problema con los desagües de las coladeras de los baños y se regresan los olores, por lo que hay que ventilar los cuartos constantemente.

La ubicación está muy bien, el personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones son muy amplias. Desde la terraza tienes unas vistas muy bonitas.

La ducha del baño no tiene presión y del lavabo tampoco sale casi agua. El desayuno empieza muy tarde a las 8.30hrs, el servicio es muy lento, tardaron una hora, éramos 5 personas y no había nadie más en la sala. Mejor avisar en el check in de los horarios, dicen que está incluido pero es un continental muy básico. Mejor no incluirlo o incluirlo completo.

la decoración de la habitación y tamaño. nos quedamos en una Suite Superior y es muy amplia. La gente de recepción que nos ayudó con el check in fue muy amable.

Al llegar nos ofrecieron café, y estuvimos esperando más de 20 min y nunca llegó... Sobre la habitación (#5; si van no pidan o soliciten que no les den esta suite) está pegada a la recepción, está casi enfrente del área de comida y da a la calle. De entrada teníamos el ruido de la calle. (creo que deberían de poner doble o triple vidrio para evitar el ruido como en otros hoteles. y por dentro se escucha todo lo que pasa en el área común o comedor. Las cortinas no cierran bien la entrada de luz así que desde temprano se te cuela la luz por las esquinas. La cama tenía un cubre colchón (impermeable) que hace muchísimo ruido cada vez que te mueves. La regadera no tiene presión y no tiene buen flujo de agua además de la temperatura... nunca realmente se calentó. El piso es porcelanato y resbaloso, es importante tener cuidado al salir de la regadera porque no tiene antiderrapante.

¡La ubicación es excelente! El cuarto era realmente excepcional, la decoración de excelente gusto y la cama deliciosa. Estabamos en el cuarto que daba a la calle, sí se escuchaban los carros... pero la verdad que no afectó el sueño. ¡El servicio es espectacular! Volvería SIN duda. ¡El cantarito de agua en el cuarto fresca me encantó!

El desayuno me parece regular, podrían mejorarlo. El agua caliente en la ducha tardaba un monton en salir, lo que propicia al gasto de agua (para los que no nos gusta bañarnos con agua fría).

The room was excellent and comfortable. The staff was beyond belief. Christian, Diana, Elizabeth and Miguel will go out of their way to suggest things to do, make reservations and help you have a great stay. We highly recommend this small boutique hotel.

Small detail, in our room, we had to relocate the nespresso coffee maker because there was no electricity outlet where it was located.

We had a suite. The room was beautiful. Large, tall ceilings, and a fireplace! The outdoor terraces offered spectacular views. Breakfast every morning was amazing. The French toast was probably in my top three favorites ever! The staff are always willing to be helpful.

My only complaint, our room, the honeymoon suite, had no natural light. There was no window at all. There was plenty of lighting but just something about natural light that I never thought was important until this. I guess they figure honeymoon people are too busy and don't worry about that. But we weren't on a honeymoon. Hahahahaha

En general todo, pues tiene una muy buena ubicación. Sus instalaciones son increíbles, la atención del personal es excelente, la comida fue deliciosa, la vista desde sus terrazas son muy bellas y atendieron todas mis necesidades y solicitudes.

El hotel es acogedor y con detalles preciosos, recibimos una excelente atención y las habitaciones son preciosas! Realmente disfrutamos mucho la estadía. La ubicación también es muy buena, cerca de lo principal de San Miguel. Si volveríamos sin duda.

Fue una estancia muy agradable. Con techo alto de madera, pared de color salmon acabado de muy buen gusto. El restaurante del hotel fue estupendo.

I loved the design of the reception, the fact that the room was super spacious with a working fireplace and a terrace. Early check in and late check out. The hotel arranged for perfect transportation from/to CDMX (David). Kudos to Elisabeth at the reception!

No breakfast buffet, service at breakfast could be improved but maybe we caught him at a bad day.

The property was very comfortable and clean. I had a great week-long stay. It is a boutique hotel without many amenities, but that is to be expected for the area. The hotel is walkable to all areas. The only aspect that was a bit uncomfortable is that the rooms are basically in front of the restaurant. Basically, you will have to walk by people that are eating to come in and out of your room. You can also hear the music and conversations from your bedroom. For this reason, I don't think I'd stay here again.

Excellent location! This hotel is beautifully decorated, with a colonial yet modern style. Bed, linens and pillows were extra comfy. The restaurant was amazing. And the staff were super friendly and helpful! Shout out to Diana the manager, Osvaldo and Miguel, you guys made us feel at home and made our stay even better! Thank you!!

Nothing to dislike

Thus property caught us by surprise. It is a lot better than we expected. It retains the colonial architecture down to the condition of the stairs and doors. It took me back to my grandma's place in the old country. The layout of the rooms is veey smart where no 2 guests can open their door and look or bump into each other. We stayed in room #9 and were beyond our imagination satisfied. It was veey roomy, comfortable and welcoming. Right outside our door and above are two terraces from you can see the city almost in its entirety. Though accessible to other patrons the location of this room makes it feel like the terrace was ours alone. The only down side is that the elevator was out of order on our check in day but that was nothing in comparison to the rest of our stay. The location of the hotel is in a busy area on a street heading out to Queretaro but by 9 or 10 p.m. all is quiet but you're in for a walk uphill when returning from where all the action is. But there are so many eateries and watering holes on the way that the walk does not matter at the end. The staff is amazing, Diana, Jimena and Miguel go above and beyond their duties to make sure our experience is a good one. The cook, the gardener and other unsung heroes were super polite and approachable. We traveled in May and the city was hot but its parks and sitting areas have so many trees you can take refuge before pushing forward. The market has everything, their eateries are excellent at very affordable prices.

I was hesitant to leave this review because I did have a few issues that the hotel needs to address to become a top notch destination. First I want to acknowledge the personnel: they were awesome in every aspect! A special commendation to Miguel. He was amazing: friendly, thoughtful, helpful! However, there were a few issues: the flow of our shower was tiny(yikes!) very little water to shower. Then the service to our room was a little raw. It seemed that the covers were put on top of the fitted sheets but they were never stretched. Also, I cut myself while shaving and accidentally stained a towel. We left it so that it could be replaced, but unfortunately it never was replaced. We had to ask to get a new set of towels. Perhaps these are not issues but I think guests will appreciate when service takes care of these details whiteout having to ask.

The breakfast is great, the location is Centro, the rooms are great, the staff is lovely and hardworking. My only complaint is that it is very noisy -- the traffic noise goes till late and starts up very early. Aside from that, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and well done. The series of rooftop spaces is unmatched and the slight elevation of the building gives the best view of the Centro, including the Parroquia. Did I say that the staff is fantastic? Well they were so great, I'm going to say it again.

We couldn’t stay for the reserved number of days due to “an incident in the kitchen.” We were relocated to another hotel ( same owner) for the reminder of our stay. The staff was very helpful.

The breakfast was delicious. Dianna created a vegan breakfast for me each day. I was very impressed with all of the food and the staff at this hotel. Miguel, the night manager, took care of everything we needed including a driver. He was warm and personable. I felt at home in this hotel.

There was nothing I did not like about this hotel. Everything was outstanding. I will be returning to this hotel.

Exceptional stay at Maison Mexique Hotel! The staff was attentive and consistently met all my needs throughout my visit. The room and amenities were good, providing everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect - convenient for everything I wanted to do during my trip. The only minor issue was some condensation that would build up from the air conditioning unit, but this was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience. I would definitely recommend Maison Mexique Hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation with great service.

No complaints whatsoever. My entire stay was exceptional and I couldn't find any areas needing improvement.

We had to leave the hotel due to the a problem in the kitchen. We were early relocated , but I would have expected more presence and extra services or compensation… o simply a thank you letter from the management. We were left a bit alone.

Lovely hotel with several levels of decks to enjoy. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff there were extremely nice and really went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The owners were available much of the time and offered good suggestions on restaurants and sites. Very convenient location too. My only suggestion would be to provide better lighting in the room as it was a little dark. Also a lighter blanket would be nice instead of just the heavy quilt which was kind of hot to sleep under even with the a/c turned all the way down. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting SMDA.
