I wasn’t aware that it was a shared kitchen space & responsiveness I send a few messages about editing the dates of the stay & no response basically paid for extra night I didn’t stay there.

la ubicación es maravillosa! me gusto mucho la habitacion ya que tenia todo lo necesario. el Hotel esta a dos cuadras del malecón y como a 5 donde toda la diversión pasa en La Paz. En la esquina habia una cafeteria muy buena que abría al as 7 am, Tambien a caminado habia dos buenos restaurantes para comer mariscos. La playa es hermosa, y la gente en La Paz es un amor! Utilizamos la zona de estancia para ver una película y también fue un cómoda y agradable. Hicimos Check in muy temprano y nuestras habitaciones estuvieron listas lo cual agradecimos mucho!

hubiera estado bien tener servicio de desayuno, tambien el agua en la regadera se salía un poco, las puertas con codigo funcionaron muy bien! nos hubiera gustado hacer check out un poco mas tarde pero nos dejaron guardar nuestras maletas en lo que saliamos al aeropuerto, lo cual tambien agradecemos mucho!

La atención y la ubicación fueron excelentes. El estar cerca de puntos turísticos es de gran ayuda. El servicio de las camarista es muy bueno, atento y amable siempre.

Lo único que podrían poner atención es la ducha. ya que no se podía tener agua tibia o era muy fría o muy calente. Especialmente a los niños. Sonorización es un poco molesta pues se escucha bastante a los vecinos arriba o a los lados.

The location is just right at the city center, a lot fo restaurants and coffee places nearby. The place is clean and has everything you need.

The property itself is a newer two story boutique hotel with about 6 or so rooms. The property is clean, nice decor and well equipped. It’s also located close to Makecon and cafes, bistros and other eateries.

I wish Netflix or some other platform were available other than that everything was great.

Great location. Lovely courtyard with a beautiful tree. Kitchen in room to cook in. The housekeeping ladies were so kind and lovely. And the most comfortable bed ever!!

Everything was lovely. The only thing that I would have wanted differently is a little more natural light in the room. There is only one window. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Es una estancia muy cómoda y cerca del malecón. Gran limpieza y camas muy cómodas. Es ideal si buscas llegar a dormir a espacio agradable y si vas a pasar días en la playa, no tiene alberca. Ofrecen cocina completa y cuenta con refrigerador (aparte de la cocineta pequeña dentro del cuarto). Recomiendo!!

Very nice hidden gem in La Paz.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the malacon and restaurants. As others have said, this is not a traditional hotel. There was only someone at the front desk for an hour or two each day. This did not affect our stay in any way, though. The room wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. There were dead bugs on the bed, mildew in the shower. The showerhead sprayed all over the place, which made it difficult to wash shampoo out of my hair. The shower dispensers were not labeled, so we didn't know which was soap and which was shampoo. There is a common area with a nice kitchen and couch/TV, but it was only air-conditioned for a couple of hours per day when the front desk was manned. After that, we could never find the remote for the AC. The neighbors next to the hotel seemed to have a lot of dogs, and we were woken up each morning with barking. The hotel was otherwise quiet and met our needs.

Al llegar el Hotel estaba cerrado , pagué por adelantado para garantizar mi estancia, no me respondieron por lo pagado ni Hoteles.

No hot water in bathroom and kitchen sinks. Shower warms up to extreme hot and when you turn down the heat it goes to extremely cold. Either way cannot shower comfortably. Contacted the manager and no reply until we asked for another room, which he replied that there were no rooms available. So we had to stay and deal with the shower. Only outlet in the bath was on the light switch by the door, not by the mirror. Either had to dry my hair without a mirror or next to the kitchen sink.

Location was excellent, great room very comfortable. Nice floor design, setup and decor. Staff was helpful and late checkout was awesome.

Some guests in hotel were loud in the patio early morning and perhaps signage could be posted to be mindful of noise, mannerisms. But other than it was an great stay.

The location is great. An interesting neighbourhood away from the craziness of the male on, but close enough to walk.

It could have been made clearer that we were to WhatsApp for the door code when we arrived.

The location was great, La Paz is super nice and I managed to walk between places safely. In the common area, the courtyard is really cute and it's great there is a kitchen - I used the fridge and there is a water cooler which was awesome, as well as water when I arrived in the room. When the housekeeping staff was there she was super friendly, offered me coffee and offered to clean the room even though I only had a 2 night stay. The staff are not always there it's just a small hotel but there is a WhatsApp number and they are helpful.

As a solo traveller the price was expensive, I wish I could stay a little longer in La Paz as it is a really nice area. Each of the towels were stained and the pillow case, I didn't mind much I trust they were clean, but I think that would bother some people more. One time I went to enter the building at night and the front door was left open by another guest (not the hotels fault- I personally find it easy to use the front door with some patience).

They are pet friendly.

Parking is on the street, this is not a hotel and is a bit misleading on the info given on the app.

Casa Madero Hotel was a fantastic choice for us to stay in La Paz. Its perfect location near El Malecón makes it easy to walk to everything, from restaurants to shops and the waterfront. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. We also loved how quiet the hotel was, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The rooms were spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

We liked the room and the facilities overall. The location is great, as the Malecón, museums and lots of restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was welcoming and provided information and contacts for possible sightseeing tours. Unfortunately, when we reported we found roaches in the room, we were ignored and we stopped getting responses via whatsapp. Also, the trashcan in the restroom was not emptied before our arrival.

El Horel es pequeño y perfecto para dormir después de un día de disfrutar La Paz, limpio y personal servicial. Lo único que se ocupa cambiar son los colchones, están tiesos.

The amenities, decoration, cleanliness in the room but not in the shower, hair from prior guests and iron needs to be cleaned, it ruined my garment. The tree at the property is breathless. Dark room but it is beautiful

It is a very nice and small hotel The assistance is extremely personalized. We enjoyed a very nice and cozy bedroom. Wifi was excellent. Location perfect, close enough but in a quiet street. We will come back again! Parking in the area was perfect.

We stayed one night during a quick pass through La Paz and had an amazing experience. Casa Madero is a cute little boutique hotel, in a great location near the malecon and restaurants, but on a safe and quiet street. The hotel was super clean and had a very nice common area. The host at the hotel communicated well during our arrival to make sure we were able to get in without any issues (we arrived after normal check-in hours). They were also able to provide additional accommodation by holding our luggage for a few hours after our checkout time while we went on a snorkeling tour. Overall a great time, and we would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this place.

Great Location, walking distance to the Malecon and lots of great food options nearby. Staff was incredible. We got lost finding the property so I messaged the property via booking app. The young man working at the reception counter was so kind and amazing. He responded within minutes of receiving my message. He even gave me a call, walked over and met me at the coffee shop we were at and explained how to get to the hotel. (we were only a block away) Hotel staff was incredibly accommodating when we requested a later checkout due to our flight time being later in the day. Seriously he went above and beyond! Before booking I was skeptical due to many reviews stating that there was no one at front desk to check them in upon arrival, but I believe if you are honest about your arrival time and communicate that information there will be someone waiting for you to check in. So be sure to include that information when booking your hotel and keep staff updated with any changes. Also, we booked one of the suites with a kitchenette and this was perfect for our travel style. We wanted a fridge to store drinks, a coffee pot and basic kitchen needs. One day we packed up a picnic for the beach and the kitchenette had everything we needed to make some sandwiches (minus sandwich ingredients, we bought these at a local grocery store). The stairs to get to our room on the second floor were a tight spiral, but no problem for us. I would recommend elders booking a room on the first floor as it could be difficult to walk up and down those stairs. Also we loved the lock system where we were able to enter a code to enter the room. made traveling around the city less stressful not having to worry about a key. Anytime we are back in la Paz we will be staying here again. Such an amazing space that feels like a combination of being in your own home while still enjoying traditional hotel amenities like cleaning services, etc.

Bathroom floors were not swept completely. Shower fixture hot and cold water valve not easy to figure. Minor issue.

I love that the room has its own kitchenette. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything about the room and bathroom were very clean and convenient. The women that were cleaning rooms were very kind and welcoming. The keyless entry is especially nice when you are going out to do water activities and do not want to have to carry the key on the beach.

The location is 2 blocks from the beach, but the sidewalk going up the two blocks is very steep. Plan on using a cab if you are taking luggage with wheels as the rocky paths are not very easy to navigate. Same for the room we stayed in, there are very narrow spiral stairs leading up to the room. It is beautiful, yet hard to navigate with large suitcases.

Water in the shower wouldn’t get hot AT ALL. I’d been in a van for the 5 previous days and all I wanted was to take a long hot shower. No dice. And there wasn’t anyone on property. I was lucky to run into the cleaning lady when I arrived and she let me in and gave me the door codes. I wasn’t contacted by anyone at the property until about 5 hours later. Not the easiest check in.

My friend and I booked this place for the location which is good. Unfortunately the room that we reserve was on the sidewalk of the busy street of Madero street was a space that meant to be for an office no really suitable for an accommodations. The bed was quite comfortable but the bathroom needs a counter space to place your toiletries. Hot water was on the wrong side and very limited.

We had a difficult time checking in. Weren’t given the security codes/ room number and no attendant at the check in space. We called and a young man came to let us in, but took 30-45 min. Our dog is elderly. Our room was on the second floor. There was a very narrow spiral wrought iron staircase to get to the room. This made it very difficult to carry a large suitcase and 55# dog up and down the narrow/steep stairs. Our vehicle was side-swiped on the street, no dedicated parking. The indoor space itself was lovely.

We didn’t know about the breakfast in time! But it wasn’t needed.

Check in was horrendous. The door was locked and we did not receive a code. It took quite awhile to get that solved. We bothered the poor lady next to the hotel . Thank goodness she was awake. And very sweet!
