Hilton Garden Inn Padova City Centre

This hotel is located very close to the beautiful historic district, with its beautiful buildings, restaurants and shops. The service was great. The rooms were good sized, had a convenient mini fridge, comfortable bed, and all necessary toiletries. The breakfast area was good sized and provided an excellent selection of tasty breakfast items. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the temperature couldn't really be controlled from the room. There's a thermostat, but turning down the temperature (room was too warm), didn't lower it. It was hard to understand, but seems the hotel is on a central temperature system. Thankfully we were able to crack a window and make the room more comfortable. Despite this, I would stay here again.

Comme il n'y a pas un choix incroyable d'hôtel 4* au centre de Padoue, nous avons choisi cet hotel pour l'emplacement. L'hotel est encore relativement neuf et les chambre sont encore relativement propres, mais je n'ose imaginer leur état dans 1 à 2 ans ( le papier peint se décolle déjà des murs et il y a des traces de moisissures au plafond).

Par où commencer car rien n'est positif dans cet endroit. A notre arrivée nous avons eu un accueil plus que glacial de la part de la personne (femme) à la réception, nous n'avons reçu aucune information sur l'hotel, mise a part l'heure du déjeuner. Nous avions tellement peur de la froisser encore plus que nous n'avons même pas osé demander d'avoir des chambres l'une a côté de l'autre ( les chambres attribuées n'étaient pas au même étage). Pour parler des chambres: impossible de régler la clim, il a fallu dormir toutes les nuits la fenêtre ouverte et il y avait beaucoup de bruit dans la rue (travaux , cris, voitures, ...), il manquait une chaise dans une des chambres, les draps étaient sales et avaient des déchirures, le mini bar etait vide ( une bouteille d'eau seulement à disposition), insonorisation tellement mauvaise qu'on entendait tout ce qui se passait dans les autes chambres. Dans la salle de bain, un des lavabo était bouché, la douche était tellement dure qu'il était presque impossible de l'ouvrir, il y avait des odeurs d'égouts, les linges sentaient la friture, pas de verre et aucune kit pour salle de bain. Concernant les services : aucune information dans la chambre, seul un code qr sur la tv en guise d'accueil et les informations sont incomplètes voir inexistantes; pas de room service, uniquement un restaurant ( si on peu appeller cet endroit un restaurant, plutôt une cantine d'ecole) où il etait possible de commander des plats à se faire livrer en chambre et le déjeuner était à la limite du comestible ( attention au jus d'orange!). En conclusion, il n'est jamais agréable de devoir donner un avis de la sorte à un hotel ( même si c'est une grande chaine) mais ici il ne s'agit pas d'un 4* mais d'un 3* correct, et encore. Et pour finir, il faudrait également autoriser le personnel à sourire, ca ne ferait de mal à personne!

At first glance the room was attractive and modern, though small, with good quality fittings. However, I would give this hotel a mid-level ranking for the following reasons: -- The advertised "Queen Room" does not have a queen-sized bed! It is a smallish double bed. Fortunately it is a comfortable bed. And the insulated windows do block out street noise so we slept well. -- There is almost no storage in the room. There is only one drawer, and access to this is awkward as it is blocked by a sliding metal grill, which seems to serve no purpose at all. -- Breakfasts in Italian hotels are often disappointing. I was hoping that Hilton, as a large American hotel chain, might offer an excellent breakfast. That was not the case. A lot of the products were of poor quality, such as the very wet scrambled eggs and the sugary orange 'juice'. -- The reception staff are not welcoming at all. Perhaps they haven't been taught how to greet guests in English. -- The 'Garden Inn' has no garden! -- The location is a bit out of the way though there are buses which connect it to the city centre and train station.

It’s not so common to find a modern hotel in some of the Italian cities with the amenities that make your stay comfortable. For me the plus was that it had a fully equipped fitness centre ( this is so hard to find I. Italian hotels ). Staff were very helpful.

Good modern hotel located a few blocks from the center of town. Lots of road construction, so you may not want to stay here if you're driving. Guest room is large, clean, and very functional. Bed is comfortable, with convenient charging outlets on both sides, good lighting, and a small night table. there's plenty of space for luggage, bathroom is very nice with an excellent shower. While not deluxe, this hotel checks all the boxes.

Great location and facilities, and extremely friendly staff who were happy to provide great recommendations for the city.

More a point of information than criticism: the hotel's parking is a public parking lot 5-10 minutes away by foot. The hotel covers the cost, but if you're arriving by car you'll have to check in first and then move your car to the parking lot (after reception has registered your plate number). You also have to leave the parking lot by 12:00 on your check-out day, or get yourself there before that time to pay extra and extend your time (we didn't find a way to do this remotely).

Anreise mit dem Auto, d.h. Halten für Check In und Gepäck ausladen, ist wegen der Baustelle auf der Via Milano und Halteverboten in den Seitenstraßen fast unmöglich. Es gibt zwar eine Haltemöglichkeit im Baustellenbereich, die jedoch nicht ausgeschildert ist und auch am Check In nicht angesprochen wird. Nur auf ausdrückliche Nachfrage bei der Abreise. Fenster zum Innenhof bieten nur den Blick in den engen Hinterhof, dafür ist es sehr ruhig.

Molto gentili alla reception. Colazione a buffet con buona scelta di alimenti. Camera pulita non grandissima ma sufficiente, bagno buono. Posizione molto centrale.

WI-FI assolutamente insufficiente per un albergo simile. Praticamente abbiamo dovuto lavorare con la linea cellulare durante tutto il nostro soggiorno (WI-FI funzionava solo a tratti). Abbiamo notato anche che a colazione il personale usava lo stesso straccio, senza sciacquarlo a sufficienza, per pulire tavoli, tovagliette in plastica e talvolta sedie. Non si può toccare le stoviglie sporche (infilandoci le dita) per riporle e poi sistemare quelle pulite sui tavoli. Non è grave ma sicuramente un punto da migliorare.

Frühstück - für jeden etwas dabei! Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Sehr nahe am Zentrum.

A internet praticamente inexistente. Nos dias atuais, uma rede wifi no quarto é fundamental. A tv poderia ser de modelo smart para poder assistir filmes via internet. Canais locais são desnecessários.

Die Klimaanlage war gewöhnungsbedürftig, da wir sehr gerne Frischluft im Zimmer haben. Leider gingen die Fenster nur zu kippen und daher war die Frischluftzufuhr kaum gegeben.

Premier désagrément ,la chambre normalement prête à 15 heure ,nous a été attribuée à 17 heure seulement, sans une excuse ni un.geste commercial. Personnel peu disponible pour répondre au problème de stationnement pour la dépose bagages lié aux travaux devant l'hôtel. Pour une chambre à 225 euros par nuit,pas de cafetière, tout juste des sachets. Le linge de toilette avait une mauvaise odeur (champignons). Point positif, parking gratuit fermé la nuit, mais tout de même à 10 minutes à pied de l'hôtel. Un membre du personnel très agréable parlant Français nous a bien orienté.

Lokalizacja była korzystna. Obsługa była bardzo miła, szczególnie Pan z baru.

Na parking trzeba iść 650 metrów, bardzo nie wygodnie, brak transferu na i z parkingu ani pomocy z walizkami. Brak miejsca do zatrzymania się przed hotelem. Pościel była cuchnąca stęchlizną i nie do końca czysta, ręczniki też. Żenująca prędkość WIFi które rozłącza się co 10 minut. Codziennie sprzątanie pozostawia wiele do życzenia, nawet kubki i szklanki nie zawsze są myte i nie dokładają wody. Nawet nie ma łyżeczki do kawy czy herbaty w pokoju. I jeszcze do tego w rogu sufitu była wilgoć. Nie polecam, Hilton tylko z nazwy.

Smell of lilies at the reception was overwhelming and unpleasant. Blue light on the wall clock in the room was extremely penetrating and disturbing, with no way of covering it. There was also a musty smell of the bedding, probably wet sheets being left in a pile for a while before drying….

Lage Top, Service excellent, Sauber. Umgang mit Störungen sehr gut. Vor dem Hotel war eine große Baustelle. Parkplatzsituation war davon betroffen. Haben ein Zimmer auf der Baustellen-abgewandten Seite erhalten, Parksituation wurde auch zu meiner vollen Zufriedenheit gelöst.

Nie im Leben 4 Sterne. Frühstücksraum offen, laut, ungemütlich. Ganze Anmutung des Hotel eher 3 Sterne. Hat das was mit dem Hotel-Namen zu tun ?

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen für einen Besichtigung Paduas, die bedeutendsten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die drei Plätze (Piazza dei Signori, Piazza delle frutta, Piazza delle erbe), der Dom mit Battistero oder die Capella degli Scrovengni oder auch die Alte Universität sind alle fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer haben eine ansprechende Größe, die Bäder sind sehr ansprechend mit einer geräumigen Dusche. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal ob an der Rezeption oder im Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke!

Das Saugen der Zimmer hätte etwas genauer ausfallen können. Für das Badezimmer würden wir uns das Bereitstellen von Zahnputzbechern (gerne aus Papier) wünschen. Der Frühstücksraum, der eher klein und nich sehr hoch ist, könnte etwas freundlkicher gestaltet sein. Dazu bedürft es nur ein paar Farbtupfern wie bunten Tischsets.

Da das Hotel im Zentrum einer riesigen Stadtbaustelle liegt, war eine Anfahrt mit dem Auto unmöglich und wir konnten das Zimmer gar nicht beziehen.

Trotz der widrigen Umstände war das Horel zu keiner Kulanzstornierung bereit. Nie wieder ein Hotel der Hiltongruope!

La dimensione della stanza: molto spaziosa. Si vede che la struttura è stata rinnovata da poco, con un arredamento minimal ma elegante.

1) Avrei preferito essere avvisato prima del mio arrivo della momentanea difficoltà di accesso all'hotel per il rifacimento della strada antistante. 2) La polvere dei lavori l'abbiamo ritrovata anche sul tappeto della stanza, 3) l'aria condizionata non funzionava correttamente. 4) Non mi può rispondere un centralino di Sofia (BULGARIA) per parlare con la struttura di Padova.

Emplacement calme, à quelques minutes du centre. L'hôtel bien organisé, fonctionnel, confortable. Répond exactement à sa description. La rue sera,( bientôt?), agrémentée de lignes de tram, dont les travaux sont en cours. Padoue regorge de palais- XIVème siècle, et d'art et d'histoire. A voir, pour les amateurs, la chapelle des Scrovegni. Les rues bordées d'arcades dans une grande partie de la ville offrent une agréable promenade à l'abri du soleil ... ou de la pluie. Des restaurants très typiques. Une ville de caractère qui ne s'oublie pas.

The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The bus stop to the airport and the train station to Venice are within a 25-minute walking distance. I didn’t try the breakfast, but there are many cafes and patisseries nearby.

Only on the first day is water provided in the room. There are no snacks in the minibar. No bathroom slippers are available. There is a long-term tramway construction site right in front of the hotel. As soon as you open the window, you are met with construction noise—even on early Sunday mornings. The female reception staff should be more polite and courteous. I was not satisfied with their attitude during check-in.
