Provider-sourced guest reviews.
I stayed 2 nights in the upper room. While the room was small (enough for a person, maybe two but without much luggage, no closet for clothes), the view from the three terraces/balconies was a dream - the old stone church, the majestic trees, the terraces with lemon trees, the sparkling blue sea and the coast. Words cannot describe the beauty of this place. They can bring you breakfast on the terrace, food was good (adding some veggies would be nice). The room was very elegant and super clean. Luisa from the front desk waited for me at the bus/taxi stop and somebody else carried my luggage. Ravello was the only place not crowded from the Amalfi coast and this added to the charm of the village. I would definitely stay at villa Barluzzi again!!
The size of the upper room was small and no closet for clothes, just some hangers.
Perfectly located in Ravello (a charming, relatively quieter corner of the Amalfi Coast), stunning view, delicious breakfast served in our room, comfy bed and lovely linens, amazing bathroom and bath with a view, gracious host in Luisa
Luisa and the staff were amazing. We had a fantastic stay:)
Everything! An amazing restoration of an old church, flamboyantly decorated with works of art including hand painted floor tiles and antique furniture. We stayed in the Icaro room, which is massive and has vaulted ceilings, as it used to be the chapel itself. There was a little private garden, a French balcony with expansive views of Amalfi coast and a bathroom with its own cupola! This room really needs to be seen to be believed. Breakfast was great. The staff were wonderful. The place is fit for royalty but the price is accessible to mere mortals. A once in a lifetime treat.
Nothing.
Louise is very helpful and the building and the room is just wonderful and perfect. We will definitely revisit and love this town and this place.
Brilliant people, unique stay, stunning views!
Beautiful historic building, great location, fabulous views and lovely helpful staff.
Not keen on the painting of Poseidon in the room, a bit too much for my taste.
The bed is a bit small.
There was nothing to dislike, everything was perfect and the staff were delightful Louisa did everything to make our stay lovely and she speaks perfect English which was very helpful as we speak very little Italian! The location is only a few minutes walk to the central square ( all uphill with plenty of steps going but all coming down from the square to return to the property) and as such was very tranquil with an amazing view. There is some construction/ renovation work going on next door, which will obviously be finished at some point, but it didn’t disturb us as we were out exploring during the day. The property has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, the bed was super comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean and fresh, the bed linen and towels were very good quality.
The only thing that would make this hotel better would have been a pool, which we understand is under construction.
Our stay was exceptional. Louisa was so kind and helpful. Our suite was out of this world. I would recommend this Villa to everyone. I will definitely stay there again.
I LOVED everything.
The views are breathtaking. It’s an easy walk to the town Square. The history of the villa is over 1000 years old. And staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You’re basically just below Villa Ravello.
Location and view were amazing.
Very noisy with building work very close by.
very clean, room is spacious and special, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, nice view, parking arrangements, lemon in the garden

My goodness, this place is incredible. Stunning building and panorama, super professional yet accessible/friendly/helpful staff, clean, super high quality products, delicious breakfast.

It was one of the best stays I have ever been at. You need to book Now
Incredible monument in the most beautiful location on the Amalfi coast, peaceful with amazing views. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, special thanks to Luisa, Silvia and Tiziana for an unforgettable stay 😍😍😍
I liked the fact that it was a small villa, newly renovated, very quiet, with amazing views. The host Luisa was very sweet, and helpful. The ladies who brought breakfast and cleaned were happy & joy to watch. The proximity to Ravello shops, restaurants and the gardens was great. The building used to be an old church which was newly renovated I enjoyed ringing the bell on the top. Liked having a storage for our luggage & additional pillows & comforter in the outside storage area. It was great to have the wall safe to store passports & valuables. Liked the three terraces to walk around and enjoy the view. We liked the clean ceramic floors & bathroom set up. We liked the car service that Luisa arranged for our trip back to Naples.
Please communicate once a guest makes a reservation with respect to car service that you recommend, associated fees & location of drop off in case one uses an airport car service. It would have been great to have goose feather pillows. May be extending the rack to the corner toward the wall to have more room for hanging cloths.
Luisa was an amazing host. Villa Barluzzi is a gem in Ravello.
Villa barluzzi is the best place we've ever seen in ours vacation. Start with dear Luisa ❤️ that help us and made the all stay beyond our imagination. The beautiful room, garden and the incredible view are better than any pictures. Ravello is the most beautiful place - quite, nice place to visit and see. Great bistro: babel wine bar with Nicola. It's definitely the best place to be in the Amalfi coast. Thank you again Luisa and hope to see you again sometime. Anyone who read this review: don't hesitate: go to villa barluzzi
Luisa was the best host we could have asked for, she was so helpful with any questions we had. The room we had was small, but that didn't matter as the terraces (3 of them!) were massive and just so perfect and the view overlooking the terraces was out of this world. We stayed for part of our honeymoon and it was the perfect couple getaway and they made us feel so special.
Staying at Villa Barluzzi was an experience beyond expectations. This extraordinary boutique hotel, once a church dating back to 1145, has been lovingly transformed into a peaceful sanctuary with just five exclusive rooms. I stayed in the King Suite, which came with its own private lemon garden – a magical place to begin or end the day. Breakfast was a daily highlight, elegantly served either in my room or in the tranquil garden. The views from the suite were absolutely breathtaking – waking up to such scenery felt like a dream. The location is ideal – 6 min walk from the city center. The service was impeccable. A special thanks to Luisa, the manager, whose kindness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made me feel truly welcome. Every detail of my stay was perfect, and the memories I made here will stay with me forever. Villa Barluzzi is not just a hotel – it’s a timeless escape.
Just an early morning strong noise coming from the neighbor construction, which is not related to hotel itself. Stairs to reach the place, but personally for me, it was not an issue.
Amazing and unique place to stay with beautiful views over the coast and sea. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend.
The history and beautiful architectural restoration of the property. Everything has been extremely well thought out and done and the room sizes are gigantic and very comfortable. The furniture is all beautiful antique reproductions. Although there is very minimal staff, they are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was extremely substantial and served on our private balcony, allowing us to take in the beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast.
Although the bed is a beautiful antique reproduction, the mattress used does not make for a very comfortable sleep. This is of course my opinion only and may not be the case for many other guests.
Everything is perfect. Villa Barluzzi is not simply a hotel, it is as close to a real life fairytale as one can experience. We stayed in the Kronos room and it was incredible. The bed is the comfiest I've ever stayed in. The entire villa oozes romance and everything is luxurious behold belief. But the real gem of this incredible venue is the staff. Luisa and her team are the kindest but most true people we have ever met. We stayed in the villa for 3 nights whilst we got married nearby and they made it even more special. For as long as I and my wife live, we will forever be grateful to the Luisa, her team and the incredible Villa Barluzzi.
The staff were really warm and welcoming - as well as extremely helpful. The view is one of the hero views in Ravello - which is already famous for its views. The villa is stunning - we had the huge Icarus room. We were unable to get into our preferred hotel so I chose this, hoping it would be as good, and it was indeed exceptional. My trouble is I don’t want to leave a great review because then I will have trouble booking in future! but I can’t lie - it’s a beautiful place to stay.
This isn’t great if you hate steps - but to stay in Ravello is to embrace steps!
Amazing!!! Lucia was great, can’t wait to come back 💖
Our stay at Villa Barluzzi was amazing! It is even more enchanting in person. There are only five rooms at this villa, which was newly renovated about 18 months ago. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Our room was kept very clean and we were served breakfast (which is included) on our patio every morning. See photos
I have never been to a more beautiful hotel. We had the Deodalo room, which is the rooftop terrace room with access to the bell tower. The views are stunning and the owner did an amazing job converting a 13th century church into a hotel while still preserving some of the original architecture and charm. We loved ringing the bells at noon and 6pm and hearing other distant bells ring across Ravello. We loved the staff and are very grateful to them for making our experience magical. Special shout out to Luisa for being so helpful and meeting us outside of Ravello to bring us to the hotel as well as to the very kind ladies who always brought us delicious breakfast to our terrace. Also, special thank you to the kind gentleman who carried our bags to our room up the bell tower. Everything was top notch and even the view from the shower was breathtaking. Some much fun to shower listening to Italian music, looking out to the sea, and listening to the birds chirping and watching the butterflies fly around. I have never stayed in a nicer place in my life.
The gardens are very peaceful but could use some tidying up.
The old church turned villa is a sight to behold. We had the best views in town while sipping on coffee on our very own terrace garden with tall trees. Everything from the vaulted ceiling to the painted floor tiles to the wood-carved bed in our room were dreamy and beautiful. Private breakfast overlooking the Amalfi coast and wine in the hot tub for sunset were unforgettable highlights. Luisa was a very gracious and helpful host and the staff were generally kind and most helpful. We also booked a daily car service from them and had a whole day exploring the busy coast towns at our own leisure with a polite and knowledgable driver. A true romantic getaway in Ravello, the most picturesque town the Amalfi coast has to offer.
Gorgeous!! We had the top room with the terrace and hot tub! We used it every day to either calm day after a gorgeous day of hiking, or to relax on a cool rainy afternoon
Unbelievable location, charming staff - best hotel we’ve ever stajyed in. Luisa was extremely helpful to make our vacation perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
This location is an exceptional treasure. Wow- what and experience!
Beautiful restoration and phenomenal staff!
If you have an injury be aware that the only way to reach the property or to reach the town from the property involves many many steps
Such a peaceful, stunning spot on the very busy amalfi coast! Our room was lovely, amazing view and bathtub.
Louisa and Silvia are so kind and helpful. We had wonderful 2 days here. Hope to come back soon.
Room, staff, property.
Lack of services.
Wow! What an incredible experience at Villa Barluzzi! From stunning views to incredible property in the best spot of the Amalfi Coast. Luisa and staff provided us with outstanding customer service made our stay extra special. Can’t wait to be back.
Nothing.
Great location and stunning view. The villa is converted from a 12th century church. Amazing experience to stay in this special place.
Villa Barluzzi is a treasure of love, and to be loved. With five palatial rooms restored from a 12 century chiesa, the villa has all the modern luxuries to make it once in a lifetime experience. Say goodbye to Salvatore, who is not with the villa anymore, and say hello to the beautiful and super capable and kind Luisa. She sent us messages in advance to arrange for arrival and guided us with expertly local advice. It must be an act of love that the gentleman who showed up to carry our luggage was no other than the owner Carmine Bisogno himself. We almost embarrassed ourselves with the five euros to be given to our “Porter”! It is their care and love that make this villa a most special place.
The hotel is stunningly beautiful, everything is very refined and clean, with a good breakfast and excellent service
Please note that despite what is mentioned, there is no parking at the hotel. You have to park quite far away, which makes the car not very accessible during the stay. Other than that, the place is perfect.
Oh goodness! So much to add…from our welcome from Salvatore, to the beautiful rooms, amazing views and hospitality from the ladies at breakfast, Villa Barluzzi was one of the biggest highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast! We would definitely come here again! Absolutely loved everything about it!!
There was nothing we didn’t like. It was absolute perfection!!!!
We loved our stay at Villa Barluzzi! The property is simply stunning, the conversion of a church from the 11th century and no expense was spared. True craftsmanship! Our room was elegant, but comfortable. The breakfast was great and we loved the layout of the villa. The views of the Amalfi coast are nothing short of spectacular! But far and away what sets this place apart is the incredible staff, lead by Salvatore. He is an absolute gem, eager to help in all ways and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay to the fullest. He has an infectious energy that makes you feel all of the Italian culture in Ravello. I will be surprised if this doesn’t become one of the highest rated places to stay in Ravello. Stay at Villa Barluzzi, you will not be disappointed! Ciao!
Everything! Our host (best in Southern Italy), Customized breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea below Ravello, the location - close to the town square, Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rufulo, the meticulously and thoughtful restoration made it hard to leave VB to explore Ravello and the surrounding towns but that would be a same. This hidden gem will be hard to reserve next year and I am blessed to have experienced a stay at the most luxurious boutique in Amalfi.
If you ask my husband with 2 bad knees, he may say the stairs to and from the villa but isn't that the case with any villa in Ravello or the Amalfi coast?!
Amazing property and Salvo and the Team were fantastic throughout our stay.
Ravello is amazing. Villa Barluzzi is outstanding. Salvatore, the Villa Manager, is amazing, friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, helpful... I could go on. The Villa itself is out of this world. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent. The staff super friendly. Our room was amazing. Clean, and beautiful, and comfortable. My wife sprained her ankle, and Salvatore saved the day, helping us get to room, and helping us get dinner and ice.
We should have booked more time!!! We had four days, next time, we will try to stay more days, so we can do more exploring, both of the coast, the towns below for shopping and restaurants, and the hikes from Ravello. But I could also see us just crash in our room, eat breakfast on the balcony, and relax.
We stayed in the Icarus room for our wedding and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Getting to stay in a 13th century chapel with 30ft high ceilings is nothing but unique and the view from our balcony and garden left nothing to be desired. Salvatore was attentive, efficient and ever so friendly and even assisted with organising a few last minute wedding bits due to his contacts and local knowledge. The breakfast was nice and served to us In our room on the large table with overlooked the coast. For the price of the room the location and level of service Salvatore provides in a stunning setting in an expensive region I would say you certainly get what you pay for.
Nothing
The villa was very nice and quiet. Great proximity to the city center. Salvatore was very helpful and had fantastic recommendations. The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean, and the view was unmatched.
A stunning 12th century property, beautifully restored and decorated. Breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast in the pretty (and not so busy) Ravello. Salvatore was such a fabulous host, and the staff were terrific. Thank you for a wonderful stay
My husband and I recently stayed at Villa Barluzzi, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Salvatore and his exceptional team made us feel right at home. The level of hospitality and attention to detail throughout our stay was outstanding. The villa itself is stunning, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm, with breathtaking surroundings. Every part of our experience, from the beautiful accommodations to the impeccable service, exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a truly memorable stay, Villa Barluzzi is the place to be. We will definitely be returning and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a special getaway!
The most comfortable bed and pillows ever. The situation of the property Salvatore is the most helpful host ever. He couldn’t do enough for us.
Nothing - best place we have ever stayed at.
History, beautiful view, beautiful hotel and wonderful staff!!!
It was fantastic!!!
A church renovated into a villa! What more could you want? The moment you step in you feel blessed to be in there amongst the beautiful architecture carved by gods! Not only was the villa the most beautiful place we have stayed but equally as amazing was the manager, Salvatore and thanks to him he has a special place in our heart alongside Room Poseidon. The mother and daughter who are the housemaids make every morning worth waking up to, the amazing breakfast they prepare alongside an amazing smile! We can only describe Villa Barluzzi as ‘Dolce Vita’ which translates to the sweet life. We didn’t make friends but rather a family where we shall surprise you guys nearer the future to relive our perfect stay! Ciao Bella
Villa Barluzzi was magnificent. A meticulously restored church with fantastic ambiance and views. Salvatore, Sylvia & Tiziciana made us feel like familia & went out of their way to help I. Every possible way!
Nothing
Everything! The views, the service and Salvatore was nothing short of exceptional as GM of the hotel. Our honeymoon was perfect start to finish due to the efforts of the team!
Nothing at all, it was simply amazing!
Astonishing property, Salvatore and his staff are top notch. We had such a welcoming stay!
AMAZING experience staying at at Villa Barluzzi. Salvatore is an outstanding host and our stay could not have been better. Excellent breakfast, super comfortable bed and pillows, unreal views, convenient hot tub, beautiful room, lounging chairs, and peace and quiet. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Salvatore!
We are fairly seasoned travellers but this was probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed in. Breathtaking views and steeped in history. Salvatore was the perfect host and went above and beyond in making our stay as comfortable as possible.
Beautiful place with unique view , but the most memorable think was our host Salvatore always polite with a big smile to answer any time all our questions, he make us feel like part of the family.
Beautiful location, beautiful building and staff who exceed expectations of a personalised service, care and attention. The view from the balcony was breathtaking
Everything was perfect
Salvatore our host was the most wonderful host. The villa was outstandingly beautiful and meticulously clean. The views were spectacular. All staff were welcoming and kind.

Beautiful views
I would like to thank my friend Salvatore for making our holiday much better than we expected, great breakfast, amazing view and comfort. This is now our favorite holiday spot.
I don't think it's something you can not like. Everything is like a dream experience, Salvatore will make your holiday even more great. Just ask him something, and he will sort it out for you. He is a really nice person. Will definitely come back
The fact that we stayed in a 12th century church! The super comfortable room with our own gorgeous garden with amazing views. The personalised service we recieved from Salvatore the manager, his dedication to his job and how passionate he is about it!
Nothing!
The Villa Barluzzi will rank among the very best places we have ever stayed. From beginning to end, it was a truly exceptional experience. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there and it was exactly what we were looking for. The Villa is a luxury, boutique hotel with attentive and enthusiastic staff who clearly love and respect this 12th century church that was reconfigured into a stunning small hotel. I believe there are only 6 rooms, and each carries a theme from Greek mythology, with unique furnishings (we were blown away by all the perfectly chosen antiques), playful frescoes, gorgeous floors, and elements from the church - all expertly woven in. If you love art, architecture, history, and the most fabulous views of the Tyrrhenian Sea right from your room (!), this place is for you. If you appreciate peace and relaxation, this place is for you. If you enjoy a delicious breakfast, prepared just as you request, this place is for you. Located just a short walk (there are stairs) from the main square, the Villa Barluzzi is a perfect jumping off point to explore more of the Amalfi Coast, if that is your desire, or to simply rest and relax (that was our desire). Taking a taxi or bus to neighboring towns is easy -- you do need to walk up or down some external paths and stairs. We saw that as a plus, and not a minus. If you know anything about the small villages and towns that dot the Amalfi Coast, this should not surprise you. They are built into the steep hills and are hundreds of years old, and the inner areas are pedestrian-only. Salvatore, who is the wonderful manager, is happy to suggest activities - whether that's a cruise for fishing, or exploring the Villa Cimbrone gardens (highly recommend). He really wanted all his guests to have the best time possible, which we did. We highly recommend the Villa Barluzzi as a gorgeous small hotel that perfectly embodies the spirit of the Amalfi Coast.
Everything was wonderful!
This hotel perfectly represents the beauty and the charm of Ravello. Salvatore our host, was full of energy and went out of his way to provide the best experience we have ever had. The rooms are way beyond exceptional, they are just.... breath taking. Breakfast was served every morning out on the private terrace overlooking the Amalfi coast. The view is spectacular, the terrace beautiful with a fountain and large lemon tree wrapped around a trellis that gave the perfect amount of sun and shade. From modern bathroom, giant tub by the widow, giant glass doors, frescas on the extremely high ceiling, fine hand crafted furniture, ice cold quiet AC and large roman columns you will find the deep roots of Ravello's spiritual past while at the same time enjoy its modern conveniences.
This place is exceptional in every way, except you cannot drive to the hotel, you have to take the steps down from the center of town. But the hotel will help you with your bags. If walking around the paths and many steps on the hillside of Ravello is not your thing, than this is just not your town to vacation.
Stunning views!!!!!! Unsurpassed assistance and care from Salvatore!!!!!!!!! All rooms seemed to be of different shapes and with different balcony and porch sizes. Our room was called Queen Room with Sea View. The room was very small but luxurious. We had 3 large porches and a hot tub. We lived outside most of the time. It was great to jump into the hot tub at the end of each day of walking. Breakfasts were great in the garden area We included pictures of our views and a very large room below us.
If I could give 100 stars for this stay I would! I have traveled to over 50 countries and stayed in many exceptional hotels, resorts, etc., but Villa Barluzzi is now at the top of my list. Salvatore and his staff are exceptional in every way, welcoming us as family. Their passion for service and their guests is unmatched. The property is not only beautiful, it is a work of art. We stayed in the Kronos suite which completely exceeded our expectations with a private terrace and garden. We cannot wait to return and experience this beautiful property again!
Everything was exceptional!
Amazing location, amazing staff, Can’t wait to go back
Absolutely nothing
This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. From the moment we arrived in Ravello, Salvatore took amazing care of us. His passion for the hotel and town are unmatched. I would come to this hotel every year for the rest of my life if I could.
There is nothing that is not 10 stars about this hotel.
One of the most beautiful locations I have been lucky enough to have stayed in. What an absolute privilege from check in to check out. The attention to detail is magnificent and Salvatore is the cherry on top. What a wonderful host!
Nothing
My secret plan from day one was to propose in Italy/Amalfi to my (now) financée. She'd mentioned in passing that she hoped for a private, intimate setting for a proposal. When I stumbled across the magnificent Villa Barluzzi while searching for a hotel suite, I knew this would be the perfect place to pop the question. Once the suite was booked (Kronos), I was in regular contact with the wonderful & sincere host, Salvatore via messaging. With great enthusiasm, he listened to and actioned my requests, and gave me good suggestions on where to book our post-engagement meal. When we both arrived at the villa for the big moment, I was just as gobsmacked as my financée even though I knew what was coming. In-person, the Kronos suite truly was something else. Inside the room, the attention to detail with the finishings, ornately painted floors, terracotta + brass tiling, and overall grandeur matched the occasion. I proposed on the AMAZING private garden terrace, the huge Amalfi panorama framed within the background on a beautiful day. It was incredibly romantic, and my financée and I loved every second. Villa Barluzzi, the diligence of Salvatore & staff helped create an unforgettable experience, for us to enjoy our engagement to the fullest in our little slice of Italy. We'll be forever grateful. Stunning - just like my future bride!
Honestly, I have no recollection of anything negative!
Villa Barluzzi exceeded our expectations on every level. The location is perfect for a quiet retreat, yet you’re only steps away from Ravello village square, the spectacular views that surround Ravello, and attractions like Villa Cimbrone. Perched high on the hillside, the views from Villa Barluzzi are so incredible that there are no words to articulate the beauty of the landscape and the Mediterranean. And if that isn’t enough, the white glove service from Salvatore and his staff was second to none – you feel like family the moment you meet Salvatore. We were so impressed that we extended our stay. 🙏🏼
Nothing
What can I say: from the moment we arrived, no actually, even before we arrived, the communication from Salvatore was fantastic, he is an asset to the Villa, nothing is to much trouble, what a genuine person he is, who truly cares about the Villa and your stay in it. After we had caught our breath, because the beauty of this Villa really does take your breath away, we were shown everything that we needed to know, impeccable service from all the staff and the attention to detail was amazing. I could go on and on, but don't take my word for it just stay here, you will not regret it. The beds were soooo comfortable it was a real effort to get up in the morning. The Villa was spotlessly clean and breakfast served in your room by Sylvia and Titiana was so delicious. I really can't praise Salvatore and the Ladies enough they made an amazing stay into a wonderful memory to cherish forever.
Absolutely nothing everything was perfect
The property is amazing. The detail and care for everything right down to tile baseboards is exceptional.
Nothing
This is a very unique & historic building with beautiful ornate features throughout! Our room was fantastic! There is great attention to detail in everything. The towels & bedding are amazing quality, all rooms have a sea view for breakfast on your terrace & there are some lovely Italian treats to sample!! Everything is very considered. Grazie mile!!!
Absolutely nothing!
Everything
You must be prepared to walk up and down stairs
The Villa is a beautiful old chapel and related rooms, and we had two room. Each was full of character with lovely views and balconies and/or outdoor space. The GM Salvatore is a delight and coordinated a car to bring us from Positano. He made a number of great suggestions of what to visit and how to avoid the most crowded areas. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds in front of the Villa are beautiful, and they are adding additional amenities.
Not a problem for us, but it is accessed only via fairly steep walkways. If you find walking up hills challenging, this may not be the place for you.
My wife and I have traveled extensively for the past 20 years, but this property was truly unlike any other. The meticulous attention to detail created a truly unique and unforgettable paradise. The manager and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like cherished family members throughout our stay. If you're seeking an experience that will leave you with lasting memories, look no further – this is the place!
Where do I start? Salvatore and the team (Sylvia / Titiana) were the most incredible hosts we have ever stayed with. We stayed for 2 nights in the Kronos suite and I ended up proposing to my partner during the stay. I really cannot speak anymore highly of Salvatore, Sylvia and Titiana - they went above and beyond for us and made our stay a truly magical experience. I am limited in my review word count so I will try to be as concise as possible! Incredible communication for many weeks before via Whatssap. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family - he helped on the phone with our taxi driver, he met us at the town centre to help with our (extremelly heavy) bags, gave us a fantastic tour of the accommodation and even a private mini tour around of the town to point out local bars, restaraunts, attractions etc. Salvatore is a hilarious, charming and caring guy - it felt as though we were old friends! The suites are stunning with amazing details throughout. Barluzzi is a converted old church and the photos really do not do it justice. We stayed in Kronos with the full private garden with panaormic views of the coast - the views are seriously breathtaking. Hot tub is also great and always piping hot ;) Salvatore had known for several weeks I was planning to propose to my partner during the holiday. We had ice cold Prosecco waiting for us - once we had settled in Salvatore snuck me off and took me to the top of the building where the top suite has an amazing private terrace. He noted they could do a surprise breakfast on the roof terrace as the guests were not arriving until several days later. I ended up proposing in the bell tower over the surprise breakfast they organised - it was truly magical and completely down to the hospitality, charm and professionalism of the entire team. We are so happy to have the team as part of our engagement story - it really wouldnt have been the same without them. Salvatore is an absolute gem - we will be back!!
Nothing.

Bor du här bor du i ett hem! De säger att detta är ett B&B men detta är ett exklusivt boende där man ger fantastisk service och extremt personlig men det är alltid med integritet. Detta är ett unikt ställe!
The room was wonderful, the view was amazing, a unique experience in a villa which was actually a church built 1000 years ago. Great mosaics, great furniture, real luxury. We also loved Salvatore, who was always a great help and even took us to a walk around the town streets.
Exceptional villa, a former church, stunning view, top luxury until the very finest detail. Our stay was made all the most wonderful by the lovely host Salvatore. We are already planning our trip cack to villa Barluzzi!
The place is out of this world, DIVINE. Salvatore, the general manager, along with two wonderful ladies -Tiziana and Flora run this place with so much love. You get everything in there: warmth, marvellous hospitality, breathtaking views, attention to detail, amazing amenities, help when needed. And the sunrises every morning leave you speechless. You just feel very welcome and looked after. And the property is pure Italian perfection.
Villa Barluzzi was exceptional in every way! The location is fantastic, the room and terraces are new and luxurious, the view is breathtaking, the breakfasts are plentiful and delicious, and Salvatore, is the most attentive, responsive, cheery, and helpful Host ever! He made our stay that much sweeter. Everything we asked for, Salvatore tackled immediately. He helped us with our luggage, made restaurant reservations, provided directions, politely answered our abundant questions and made sure that we had whatever we desired. Salvatore is a gem and such a pleasure to have as a resource. His enthusiasm and love for his quests is unmatched.
Nothing! Our stay was absolutely perfect!
The property is absolutely stunning and the location is in close proximity to the city center. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and, before the first night was even over, we were talking about coming back. The concierge was also an incredible help throughout our stay in addition to being one of the most welcoming we’d encountered throughout our honeymoon. We can’t stay enough wonderful things about the property and it’s concierge! If you are wondering whether to stay here, the answer is definitely yes!
There is no elevator and there are some stairs to get to the city center; however the concierge provided exceptional service and helped us with our luggage! He also helped us to organize a cab for the morning of our departure.
