⭐ 1/5 – Deeply Disappointing Stay at Hotel Pilgrim, Paris (3 Oct) I booked Hotel Pilgrim in Paris through Stayforlong.com, paying for what was clearly advertised as a Superior Twin Room (£385.17) for two female friends. On arrival, we were allocated a Classic Double, which was entirely unsuitable for our needs. When I raised this with Clara, the hotel manager, I was told the hotel was fully booked, the room was too small for twin beds or a cot, and that no refund could be offered. Her only “solution” was to bring in extra bedding and sleep on the floor— the bedding arrived in poor condition. As a cancer patient in recovery, this situation caused considerable stress and exhaustion. Despite it being the hotel’s error, there was no compensation, no breakfast offered, and no proper service. The room was so cramped that my suitcase posed a safety hazard, and the management showed no accountability or empathy. To make matters worse, room rates fluctuate dramatically online, which is misleading. I would score them zero if it were possible. Avoid this hotel at all costs — poor management, false advertising, and no respect for guests’ well-being.

Very much enjoyed the Pilgrim. It was clean and modern and the room size was good in comparison to similar priced hotels in Paris. I would stay there again.

High praise for this small hotel in the Latin quarter of Paris. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast area and adjoining outdoor courtyard were delightful as was the breakfast menu. The staff made us feel welcomed and gave us some excellent tips of which restaurants to visit in the area.

Close to all the restaurants and action on Saint Germain Blvd. Walking distance to Notre Dame and Saint Chappelle. Clean hotel, good breakfast but rooms a bit small, as is usual for hotels in Paris.

The staff were all very helpful, the room albeit small was very clean and fine for what we needed. The spa was a welcome bonus for us after long days of walking around Paris. The rooftop bar was also a bonus to have a drink before we went out in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this hotel

The staff is one of the best that we experienced on our trip around Europe. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy that you are there. Would always return to this hotel. Great views from the rooftop.

Great place, small but super new and modern

The hotel was in a very nice location. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Places to visit and sightsee were in abundance and restaurants many good restaurants within walking distance. The room was small, but clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hôtel Pilgrim. Die Unterkunft war ausgesprochen sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr: Sowohl vom Flughafen als auch nach Versailles gelangt man schnell und unkompliziert. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Notre-Dame oder das Panthéon sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, und mehrere Bushaltestellen befinden sich ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Duschprodukte dufteten außergewöhnlich angenehm, und die im Zimmer verfügbaren Teesorten waren sehr lecker. Wenn ich etwas kritisieren müsste, dann wäre es die Größe der Dusche und des WCs. Beide fielen wirklich sehr kompakt aus. Jedoch kein großes Problem. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle, die zentral und komfortabel in Paris wohnen möchten.

The rooms are significantly smaller than in the pictures. Ours was uncomfortably small. I suggest you publish the size of the rooms on the website and show realistic looking pictures, so travellers can make an informed decision as to whether the room will meet their needs. Apart from this the hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly.

Stayed herr for five days. New hotel. Great location. Nice spa facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooftop not staffed just a place for you to bring your drinks( i think description lets you imagine something Else). No real barfacilities, just the people at the desktop mixing your drinks. Breakfast should be better(this is a 4 star hotel): bread not fresh(stale), hot choices are: scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried potatoes and mushrooms. Scrambled eggs are not very well made and not “restocked” very often. Boiled eggs cold. Water often runs slow and can Only be extremely hot(approx 60C) making it impossible to shower. After 5-10 minutes it was ok.

Great property in the Latin district. Well appointed rooms with great amenities. Pool, spa, and steam room were absolutely wonderful and welcomed after a long day of walking.

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint hotel in the Latin District of Paris. The staff were incredibly accommodating and even went out of their way to prepare breakfast for us before the regular serving time. They also had a beautiful rooftop patio perfect for taking in the views of the Eiffel Tower and enjoying a glass of wine, and the pool/steam room was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend for a charming and relaxing Parisian experience. The staff was excellent but Sara was especially accommodating and kind. Thanks for a great stay.

Just a 6 minute walk to NotreDame this is a very quiet residential neighborhood. It is authentically old Paris with beautiful medieval college des Bernadines across the street.

Stylish, quiet, rooftop bar with a view of the Eiffel Tower (just about!). Reasonably well connected.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Hotel Pilgrim. The attentive and kind staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location this a wonderful home base for our short stay. We were just blocks from the metro and walking distance from Notre Dame, able to access everything we needed!

Staff were excellent. Made us feel very welcome. Very helpful and friendly. Very quiet street, no access to cars. Excellent location, close to Seine, Notre Dame and Batobus river ferry. Lots of places to eat and drink in 100m radius. Would look forward to staying again.

The rooms are absurdly small and breakfast is not very good. Location is very good and poll and steam are nice amenities.

One of the best rooms we’ve ever had - we fit our family of four perfectly with lots of room to spare (two small pullouts for them) and I loved spending time on the terrace and the beautiful large double shower bathroom! The pool allows kids and has jets to massage. The hotel staff was a highlight. They noticed my daughter loved the house made chocolate cake and upon returning to the hotel one evening they offered us the remaining two slices from breakfast! We were able to walk easily to restaurants in the Latin Quarter including metro stations there and to the RER next to Notre Dame. We loved our stay and want to come back!

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Pilgram. The staff were really friendly. The location was brilliant. We just wished we were able to stay longer.

Be careful with this property , the staff are very tricky -I booked direct with them hoping they would give me a better deal than booking.com only to find when checking out breakfast was not included so it cost me more than booking.com -Avoid

Fantastic hotel. Staff wonderful and we would highly recommend the breakfast. It's in a great position - close to the river and Notre Dame. Very comfortable beds. There are lots of restaurants and bars close by.

Within walking distance to many great attractions such as Notre Dame, Ile Saint-Louis restaurants, which is the main reason we picked the hotel. Lots of boulangerie close by for excellent breakfasts. Loved the hamam (sauna) and pool.

The staff at this property were so friendly. Good location for hopping onto the Bato Bus to sightsee. Enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast a bit expensive. Pool and sauna a welcome treat to wind down after a long day of walking.

We accused of stealing a throw blanket from the room. There was no throw blanket from the day we checked in. House keeping never mentioned anything about during our stay. We were not notified of the missing throw until after we left. This accusation ruined memories of the trip to Paris. Suggest that any one conducts and inventory upon check in.

Hotel Pilgrim was a fantastic location with lots of options for food and the metro being within walking distance. Rooms and common area were super clean and well maintained. Rooftop bar is tiny, but a nice way to get some fresh air. Everyone that we met was very helpful and accommodating!

Nice hotel in the city centre,with luxurious rooms and a woderfull spa. Breakfast is very good,and you can enjoy it outside at the beautiful terras in the back of the hotel.

Top Hotel, Top Service, Top Location , ist a small Hotel but everything is there what you need. A lot of Restaurants in the area and in 10 Minutes at the church of Notre Dame

Really nice hotel, excellent service and the breakfast buffet is really good. The only thinhg to consider while staying here, is that the classic room is really small.

The hotel is great, with excellent service, and a perfect location. As another guest also pointed out, our room had a weird smell (room 410). (We switched rooms during the stay, and the first room was fine). The breakfast didn't have a lot of options, but it was fine. The warm food was a little cold, and the milk a little warm (this was near closing time). So we only paid for breakfast the first day.

An amazing hotel we really enjoyed staying here. The location of great and the room was lovely. The pool and rooftop made the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My room was not cleaned AT ALL, IN SPITE OF THE FACT that for 3 separate times I asked the receptionists in charge to ENSURE that the room would be cleaned, while I was around Paris. No compensation has been offered for this horrible performance at the time of check out or even afterwards, in spite of a long follow up correspondence via email. . Having the room cleaned is the definition itself of a hotel, else on would rent an apartment. Schoking! Stay away from this hotel by all means.

If you are looking to stay in Latin Quarter, this is absolutely the place to come. Fantastic location, incredible staff and just an overall awesome vibe. We will definitely be back!

Bit expensive but worth every euro; very good and quit location in Quartier Latin on a no traffic street, lots of very good restaurants nearby, and of course very pleasant student crowds on the streets

Ett storstadshotell i en världsstad dvs för 4 200 SEK per natt får man ett litet rum med ett trångt badrum- men med ett suveränt läge i skuggan av Notre Dame och med några fantastiska restauranger i närheten.

Best hotel that we booked in Paris

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The reception and bar staff are great. Hotel room was clean and comfortable, I noticed some people complained about the size, however, our room was more than adequate. I would just add, it would definitely benefit from drawer space to put your clothes. The bed was comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect. The staff organised a birthday surprise for my son, when we returned from a long day, which was wonderful and value for money. I would definitely stay again.

Very well located, walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants, and pharmacies. Loved the complimentary slippers (you get to take with you!) and the bottles of waters, which I didn't need to even ask for a refill of! (they provided more when they came to tidy up room). Staff was very friendly, they helped me switch up my booking and informed me of a discount they had at the moment, and they checked in about airport to hotel transportation. Would absolutely book here again, amazing experience!

Great location, spacious room and friendly reception. Close to Notre Dame Cathedral and Michelin star restaurants. A fridge would have been nice even if it is a mini bar.

Conveniently located near Metro stations, a few minutes walk from the Seine and from Notre Dam, we found this to be the perfect hotel for a weekend in Paris

A modern, design-forward property in a cute part of Paris. The rooms feel new, comfortable beds with nice touches like a rainforest shower but fall short with a pretty basic instant coffee provided. The gym, while it has good looking equipment, is both small, and has a lot of equipment that is broken and clearly isn’t looked after. Staff are friendly and responsive to requests.

The hotel was very cozy and the staff very friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a very nice area on a quiet street.

The hotel was very clean with fantastic staff. I liked that yhe property was a little bit away from the loud tourist area but everything was within a 10 minute walk.

Les panier de fruits mis à la disposition de la clientèle dans la salle de sport mérite a était très apprécié.

We had an amazing stay with Hotel Pilgrim! Specifically the highly responsive and personable 24/7 customer service stood out but the pool/steam room was an amazing perk as well as the excellent breakfast service and cleanliness of the hotel...

Wonderful stay, staff were lovely, the breakfast was fantastic and an incredible location. The pool and hammam were also a highlight of our holiday and a big plus for relaxing alongside a city break.

Loved our stay at the Hotel Pilgrim - the gorgeous contemporary aesthetic was so tasteful and set the scene for a lovely, calm and sophisticated vibe! Yea the room was small but it was gorgeously appointed with beautiful decor and wonderful toiletries and fluffy towels!! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and steam room too. As well as the bar/cafe - we will definitely be returning!!!

Beautifully appointed hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Have stayed at a lot of hotels in the area, but Hotel Pilgrim stands out for its modern fit out, especially the bathroom and lifts (so much so experience dragging suitcases up stairs). Staff were also superb.

Excellent breakfast and excellent service. Good location so easy to access popular sites. Street was quiet. Nice shower....only drawback in bathroom was lack of area around the sink to keep toiletries. Beds very comfortable

The room was too small for two people. I could not open any luggage’s throughout our trip. Other than that, it could have been a great place. Too small room, feel like an egg.

We were so pleasantly surprised by Hotel Pilgrim! The rooms are super comfortable and charming, its an excellent value. Breakfast was delicious and the hammam facilities were a welcome break from walking around the city. It's only a few minutes walk to main attractions of the area, and there are wonderful cafes and restaurants right around the hotel. We'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Lovely new hotel

We stayed in the suite and it was large, comfortable and had a great balcony. Double walk in shower was also great. We also loved the pool. Location was wonderful and close to everything we needed, including metro. Highly recommend.

The room was typically Parisian small but well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The property is well located near the Latin Quarter, Pantheon, Notre Dame etc as well as Metro and Rail stations. I would stay again

Great location and staff was super nice. Initially had a problem with the AC but the management remedied the problem. Unfortunately that created some unneeded stress upon initial check in.

What a great way to recover from an international flight! Friendly staff, early bag drop off and the sauna and pool were most appreciated. Wine on the patio and the breakfast was thoroughly scrumptious

Hôtel was sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious The room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. Barely room to walk around the bed. Only place for one suitcase. No hooks or closet. At night if you use the bathroom and turn on the light the entire room is lit up because there is a glass divider in the bathroom. Not very well designed.

This is a very friendly new hotel within easy reach of the heart of Paris by foot especially the Seine and Île de France. It is also close to métro, Gare de Lyon and cabs. Ride share is quick too. The Hotel staff are very welcoming French speakers who can speak English well as needed. The included daily breakfast is excellent and the very friendly staff make it easy. The rooms were really nice but somewhat small as expected in a big city. They had two quick elevators and lots of optional staircases. The fooftop lounging area was cool with nice views incl La Tour Eiffel. We didn’t utilize the spa or pool as we were out all day. The rooms are very clean, well appointed, and stylish. We did have to ask for the AC to be turned on. There are some design features that look cool but are not too practical like ceiling lights that light up the bathroom but thanks to a glass window between the bedroom and bathroom will light up both areas which was a nighttime surprise. Also one-sided bathroom mirror lighting looked cool but didn’t make shaving or makeup any easier. Nonetheless those were very minor inconveniences. We truly loved our weeklong stay at the Hôtel Pilgrim and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Once Notre Dame re-opens for inside visiting the hotel’s location will be even more amazing.
