Der Pool war leider nicht benutzbar und sehr trüb und der Kaffee morgens beim sonst überragenden Frühstück sehr schlecht.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. There spaghetti Bolognese was very nice. Good location.

The pool chairs were wobbly and the pool seating area was a little dirty. There was little corn in the corn fritters.

Very recent build hotel probably the latest and best in Pangkalanbun. Modern design with an Indonesian touch and convenient location, easy access to airport. Green approach with no bottle and a refillable container in the room.

Restaurant and room service menu are limited but there are plenty of option nearby. The 2 mosques nearby for non-Muslim people may be challenging during early prayer time as sound proofing is definitively not good despite the recent build

Very clean and the staff accommodated our request for connecting twin rooms.

Limited food options around the place means only room service or the hotel restaurant. The food was very average for our palate. Also, the main road facing rooms having to tolerate the noise from the nearby mosque. Very loud prayer calls & prayers at 4 am makes it difficult to get quality sleep. They could surely have some good noise insulation in the windows to help guests from that noise.

El restaurante tiene platos que parecen muy lujosos, bastante más caro que comer fuera del hotel pero la calidad mala, no nos gustó nada la cena.

Un hotelazo de lujo a precio de un hotel normalucho de Europa, en medio de Pangkalan Bun. La piscina, la recepción, el restaurante.. todo perfecto. Buen desayuno. Y además está cerca del paseo fluvial aunque el la ciudad no hay muchas cosas que ver. Estuvimos en el hotel después de tres días en la jungla en barco y lo disfrutamos mucho

All the personal were very friendly, all but especially Nazir (reception) and Kholil (bar). This personal seem to do all effort to make the customers happy! Even when we hot stock in the center personal of the hotel helpt us for transport.

Das Hotel hat ordentliche und ausreichend große saubere Zimmer und gutes Frühstück. In der Umgebung gibt es leider nicht viel, der von anderen angesprochene Nachtmarkt war am Abend nicht vorhanden. D.h. Essen entweder im Hotel oder in einem der Warungs in der Umgebung. Richtige Restaurants haben wir keine gefunden.

Das Personal ist zwar sehr freundlich aber in der Auskunftbereitschaft sehr kompliziert. Wir wollten in den 2nd floor zu der angeblichen Rooftopbar, konnten die Etage im Aufzug aber nicht wählen. Bei dem Versuch, dies an der Rezeption zu klären, mussten wir erst mit drei verschiedenen Leuten sprechen, um zu erfahren, dass der Bereich wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen ist. Entweder ist das Personal schlecht informiert oder traut sich keine Aussage zu. Beides entspricht keinem Mercure Standard.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern und schön. Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön. Der Markt ist sehr nahe.

Wir wollten in dee oberen Lounge/Bar essen. Leider war das Essen wirklich nicht gut. Lieber auswärts essen gehen.

La climatisation est vraiment trop froide, on ne peut pas changer la température mais seulement la puissance. Donc soit on se gèle soit on crève de chaud si on ne la met pas. Incroyable pour un hôtel de cette gamme !

They let us check in at 8.30am instead of 2pm which we were super grateful for. Amazing shower. Great location. Nice staff. Great pool and good gym.

Tv heb je niks aan, zitten geen apps of überhaupt televisie kanalen op, ontbijt was heel duur in relatie tot de kwaliteit. Ligging van het hotel dwingt je om daar wel gebruik van te moeten maken.

La restauration est absolument déplorable ! Nous avons voulu dîner au Mercure mais c’était un très mauvais choix. Les boissons que nous avons commandées étaient beaucoup trop sucrées. Les plats n’étaient pas bons, surtout le plat de ma fille (des quesadillos) qui était quant à lui immangeable. La serveuse a été très professionnelle et ne l’a pas compté dans la note, elle a même apporté des gâteaux pour compenser. Le lendemains de nouveau déçus par la nourriture, le petit dej était bien en deçà de ce que l’on peut attendre de ce genre d’établissement.

Had low expectations as it was such a good value price but the hotel was lovely. The staff were all so friendly and superb. Pool small but clean. There is not a lot to do in Pangkalan Bun but it was a short walk to the river for an evening stroll which is fun, especially when the karaoke is in full force.

Het is de enige accomodatie in Pangkalan Bun op dit niveau. Het is keurig, een extra bed kan tegen geringe extra kosten op de kamer en het ontbijt is goed.

Berichten die vanuit Booking.com naar het hotel werden gestuurd zijn nooit beantwoord. De locatie is wat verder gelegen van het vliegveld en de haven, al stroomt het verkeer goed door in Pangkalan Bun.

Het ontbijt viel tegen. Als je later ontbijt ligt er nagenoeg niets meer. De koffie voor het ontbijt komt uit een slecht apparaat, die er lang over doet om 1 koffie te zetten. En die is niet goed. Het ontbijt bijkopen kost 200.000 per persoon. Helaas door de ligging van het hotel word je gedwongen daar te ontbijten.

Rooms were beautiful, really clean and very comfy. The whole place also smelt great, including the lifts. We were able to get early check in as members, which was nice. The location is great and the staff at the restaurant are great, as well as the staff by the door who help with luggage.

The restaurants food was really bad. We dined there twice and didn’t enjoy either of our meals; we had the Mexican quasedillas one night and chicken Caesar and chicken schnitzel the other night. The latter was pretty good, but the quasedillas didn’t taste great at all and the loaded fries which we ordered were just oven cooked frozen chips with some sort of cheese cream and gherkins. For a restaurant of Mercure’s calibre, we really expected the food to be much better given the significant price premium. Would definitely recommend eating outside of the hotel, as the food also took a while to come out. We also felt that the information provided at check in was lacking. We had to go to the spa to enquire about the sauna, as we received no information about that and also couldn’t figure out why our key wouldn’t let us access the second floor to go to the restaurant. A kind member of staff informed us that there was a private event and so access restricted , but this could have been good to know during check in. We also felt that paying extra for the sauna was a little over the top, given the price premium we already paid for the hotel and its amenities. The pool looked great, though!

Wir waren im hauseigenen Restaurant essen. Leider war das Essen beim servieren kalt, da es min. 5 Minuten an der Bar zum servieren stand.
