Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Lovely hotel, handy location, everywhere from reception to pool and our room were spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable, fantastic shower & very good breakfast offering. The stand out though was the staff, all very pleasant and helpful. The reception staff went above and beyond though and were incredibly helpful. We would visit again and wish we’d stayed longer than our two nights.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026L'emplacement est bien (30min à pieds de Praia da Rocha), le petit déjeuner est bon (les boissons sont bonnes), et la déco est très soignée. Balcon appréciable et eau à disposition chaque jour ainsi que la machine à café.
La taille de la chambre est un peu limite, surtout la salle de bain, à deux c'est impossible. Il y a un miroir mais collé au lit donc en gros pas très utile... Idem pour la salle du petit déjeuner, elle est beaucoup trop petite, il est très difficile de se déplacer. Le choix du petit déjeuner est correct mais il manque par exemple du yaourt végétal, une solution de yaourt à boire (enfants), différents pains, et peut-être des pastels des nata...(présents dans les deux autres hôtels en Algarve). Il faut aussi prévoir (en espèces) 10€ par serviette pour la piscine je trouve cela vraiment dommage dans cette gamme d'hôtels ; et dernier point (visite fin Aout 2026) l'eau de la piscine est extrêmement froide il nous a été impossible de nous baigner.

Chambre vue sur mer trop petite au regard du prix payé. La configuration etait diffférente des autres en photos dans booking. Bruit de circulation des le matin. I

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Am petrecut cinci nopți la Rochavau Hotel și am avut o experiență foarte frumoasă. Hotelul este situat chiar lângă plajă și aproape de câteva taverne locale cu mâncare excelentă. Micul dejun ne-a impresionat: suficient de variat pentru toate gusturile, dar, mai ales, foarte gustos. Întregul personal a fost extrem de amabil, iar Inês de la recepție - sper să nu greșesc numele - ne-a ajutat să închiriem o mașină și a fost foarte atentă cu noi pe tot parcursul sejurului. Camera a fost curată, elegantă și dotată cu tot ce aveam nevoie, iar curățenia s-a făcut în fiecare zi. Un hotel pe care l-am alege din nou cu drag pentru un sejur în Portimão.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral. 2 Gehminuten vom Strand und 10 Gehminuten von Praia da Rocha. Ausserdem auch 10 Minuten vom Zentrum. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und Frühstücksbuffet gab es alles was man braucht.
Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein und umständlich. Auch Aufbewahrungs möglichkeiten waren begrenzt, da der Schrank sehr klein war. In der ersten Nacht war das Zimmer auch sehr hellhörig aber danach hat es sich gelegt.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026We had a really nice stay here and would definitely come back. Vivian welcomed us when we arrived and she was so friendly and full of energy! During our stay we saw Andreia and Inês in the mornings and evenings and they were always lovely, and always smiling, saying hello, and happy to help with anything. They really made the place feel warm and welcoming. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and in a great location just a short walk from Praia da Rocha beach, with loads of restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, as well as supermarkets and little shops for anything you need. Everything was easy to get to without needing a car. The underground parking was a big plus and the prices were very reasonable. Honestly, the staff are what made the stay stand out for us. Thank you Vivian, Andreia and Inês. Would happily recommend.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026A estadia no Rochavau Hotel foi impecável do início ao fim. O hotel é extremamente moderno, muito acolhedor e limpo. O quarto era super confortável, com uma decoração bonita e uma varanda fantástica para relaxar ao fim do dia. A localização é excelente pois fica numa zona tranquila, mas a escassos minutos a pé de praias incríveis como a Praia do Amado, Três Castelos e a Praia da Rocha. O pequeno-almoço buffet é bastante completo e com produtos frescos. Um agradecimento especial a toda a equipa de pequeno-almoço!
Nada a apontar de negativo. A zona de pequeno almoço é, no entanto, algo pequena então é de evitar a última hora 9:00-10:00, se possível, para comer com tranquilidade.

A rede wi-fi poderia ser melhor, mas serviu.

Estacionamento privado caro e muito mau de acessos e circulação no interior para carros grandes. Carregador disponível para carregamento de carros elétricos incluído no valor do estacionamento porém é difícil conseguir fazer o carro chegar ao carregador se houverem lugares ocupados por perto já que o estacionamento é mesmo muito pequeno e com muitos postes que limitam todas as manobras. É mesmo o único ponto negativo mas nada que influencie novamente a escolha do hotel para mim.

It can be extremely noisy at night as the hotel is next to a big street. As we prefer to sleep without AC and with an open window, noise from the trucks and motorbikes a couple of times has woken us. Hotel should work with the municipality to enforce speed limits and controls during night.

Le seul inconvénient est la forte odeur de nourriture (ail) qui imprègne l'hôtel, particulièrement le matin en raison du brunch. Heureusement, ça ne sentait pas dans notre chambre.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Todo muy nuevo, buenas calidades, ubicación perfecta cerca de una de las playas más bonitas, alejado de las aglomeraciones pero a un paseo de la zona turística y con buenos bares y restaurantes cerca. Desayuno completo y variado (desde tortitas, tostadas, bizcochos y fruta hasta bacon, huevos , patatas …), habitaciones pequeñas pero cómodas y personal muy amable.
Me gustó todo pero por decir algo el baño y la terraza eran un poco pequeños. La zona del desayuno también y no tiene nada para niños.

Ligeiro conflito na entrada da casa de banho, a porta abre para a parede e lavatório sendo que só se consegue entrar abrindo a porta na totalidade ou fazendo alguma ginástica para passar entre a porta e o lavatório. Note-se que este fator não é condicionante para voltar ao hotel, tudo o resto é fantástico.

No tienen opción de restaurante, más allá del desayuno. Sería buenísimo si tuvieran al menos sándwiches, hamburguesas o pizza, pues el día que llegamos, llegamos tarde y cansados y nos tocó salir a buscar comida.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026I had a large double room with a partial sea view, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was also decent, with enough variety to start the day well. The location is excellent. Praia do Amado is literally across the road, making it incredibly easy to enjoy a quieter beach, while the main beach, Praia da Rocha, is a leisurely stroll away along the coastline. The housekeeping team also deserve a mention, as they were excellent throughout my stay. The room was cleaned daily and maintained to a very good standard.
The walls are thin so you are at the mercy of how considerate—or inconsiderate—other guests choose to be during your stay. There was also a surprising amount of noise from the road. Even from the third (top) floor, I could hear traffic while trying to relax in the bath, and I ended up having to sleep with earplugs. One of the biggest issues for me was the lighting in the room at night. I prefer to sleep in complete darkness, and although the room had blackout blinds on the balcony door, there was a bright green emergency exit light above the door that illuminated the entire room. Unfortunately, there was no way to switch it off, which rather defeated the purpose of having blackout curtains in the first place. It affected my quality of sleep. I also found the balcony to be very small. As a solo traveller, it was adequate for me to sit out and enjoy the view. However, had I been sharing the room with another person, the balcony would not have been big enough.
