The staff was absolutely fabulous, attentive, and so kind! Our room is comfortable and clean and quiet. The food at the restaurant was fantastic! We loved the gym and the lounge area was super comfortable as well when we were waiting for our next transit from start to finish, we had a great day and we definitely will be back!

The staff were wonderful, friendly, interested and engaging. They remembered our names. The food at the restaurant Thera was extraordinary, so well cooked and fresh ingredients. We had breakfast by the pool daily and their attention to details was outstanding. The rooms were very clean and the pillows were a treat. Very big comfy bed and remarkably quiet.

I can't find fault anywhere. The area is a big party place, but this hotel is very well designed for a peaceful stay. The litter on the streets and beach was my only sorrow, but that is not the fault of the hotel, (they used refillable glass bottles for water.)

The staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Location was amazing and it was so so clean.

Chesa Canggu was a pleasant surprise. To start, the reception and restaurant staff we're incredibly friendly and hospitable, even a small detail such as remembering your name so they could say good morning to you every day was amazing! The rooms were spacious, bed was huge and comfortable and the place was incredibly clean. I appreciated the fact that water bottles were replaced daily, not just once. There were two pools, and both we're really great and quiet. There was no fighting for lounges. The pool had a decent bit of sun on it, I would say lasting from about 11-3pm. The location was excellent as well, just a short walk to the nearest cafes and restaurants. This was an excellent bonus. Room/pool service was also great and affordable, and was very prompt as well! I had no issues with bugs in the room either. Overall, for the price, it really did exceed expectations and I would absolutely stay again next time, and am looking forward to coming back again!

I guess one thing to note is that there is a rice field nearby on the road. The smell is no issue whilst you are at the accommodation, however if you are quite sensitive to smell it is just something to be aware of when walking on the road. Best to get a Grab and pass it quicker! Also, seeing how quickly Bali changes I am sure this will be built on very soon :( There is also some noise that can be heard through the night, very manageable but just to be aware. Lastly, just some advise for Chesa it would be great for the tea and coffee stations to have black tea bags and creamer such as coffee mate or milk in the fridge for tea/coffee! :D. There really are no faults to this place though :)

My husband and I spent five nights at the Chesa Hotel in Canggu. Our friends had recommended it and we’re so glad we listened. The hotel was amazing – nothing was to fault. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and cheerful. The food at the hotel restaurant was always presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. While there were many restaurants within walking distance, we were happy to dine there. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. The gym facilities were great, with two relaxing swimming pools to choose from. We also loved the complimentary afternoon teas they offered daily. We have no hesitation in recommending the Chesa Hotel and will definitely rebook it next time we visit Bali.

This hotel was wonderful especially for 2 girls and a solo traveller I ended up extending and felt so safe- the staff are on the desk 24/7 - the staff were superb so friendly and the food was honestly world class- room service was so quick and drinks by the pool all can be ordered by QR code - also everything is walking distance from here - including the lawn,luma,spring spa, masonry and the party spots like Mexico’s etc.

Sehr nette Personal! Die Ausstattung sind modern und sauber. Terrasse mit Sitzecke und Wäscheständer. Zwei Pools sind groß genug zu schwimmen.

Die Dusche hat keine Tür bzw. Duschvorhang, deshalb wird in Badezimmer viel gespritzt. Wasserhahn in Badezimmer ist zu kurz, wodurch beim Waschen das Wasser immer auf dem Waschtisch gelaufen und runter auf dem Boden gelandet ist.

Een prachtig hotel met een geweldige sfeer en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. We hebben hier enorm genoten. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend heerlijk en uitgebreid, en de kamer was ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het enige kleine minpuntje is het zwembad. Dat ligt slechts een paar uur per dag in de zon; in de middag is het vrijwel volledig in de schaduw. Voor ons was dat geen groot probleem, maar het is goed om te weten als je graag lang aan het zwembad in de zon ligt. Verder is de locatie uitstekend. Veel bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand en met een Gojek ben je ook snel overal. Al met al een fantastisch verblijf en zeker een aanrader!

We especially appreciated them checking in on us and making sure we got home safely after being out, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel incredibly well looked after. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The food was delicious, with plenty of great options to enjoy during our stay. One of our favourite things about the hotel was how peaceful and relaxing it was. The pool areas were stunning and incredibly quiet, making them the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a relaxing day. The location was also fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to a great selection of cafés, restaurants, and bars, so everything was easily accessible while still feeling like a tranquil retreat. We had a wonderful stay at Chesa Canggu. It was my husband’s second time staying here and my first, but it definitely will not be the last. The resort is in a great location, with so many lovely cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. It made exploring the area really easy and enjoyable. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good and having the option of room service was a big plus for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We especially loved having a balcony to relax on, and the large TV with Netflix was perfect for winding down in the evenings. The best part of our stay, though, was the staff. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always taking the time to chat and make you feel at home. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, whether it was helping with laundry or helping us put our bags into taxis. Their warmth and attentiveness really made the experience special. We would absolutely recommend Chesa Canggu and cannot wait to come back.

The property was absolutely beautiful — the pool area feels like a little oasis and the design is very stylish and peaceful. But what really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can feel that they really care about the guests. Honestly, they deserve an award for their hospitality.

This is by far the most memorable stay I’ve had across all my travels. It’s my first time in Bali so I didn’t know what to expect, but the staff were super hospitable and friendly; room was very clean (little to no insects), location was safe, quiet and very near many popular restaurants and beaches, and the view of the hotel is just stunning. My friend and I unfortunately fell sick during our stay, and the staff helped to call a doctor, checked in on us from time to time, and even offered to provide us with some porridge, bananas, or bread from their restaurant. We felt very well taken care of. Overall, amazing stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone else. Thank you so much, Chesa!

Our stay at Chesa Hotel was honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. Every single staff member was absolutely incredible — friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Whether it was a quick question, a request, or anything we needed, they were always just a message away and responded so quickly and thoughtfully. The level of care they showed truly made it feel like we were being looked after by family, not just hotel staff. The hotel itself is just as impressive — beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and designed with so much care. The rooms are stunning, comfortable, and peaceful, and the pool area is just as beautiful — the perfect place to relax and unwind. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Bali a few times now, and I can confidently say this has been one of my best stays yet. The combination of the gorgeous space and the genuinely amazing people who work there made the experience so special. I couldn’t recommend Chesa Hotel more highly. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, relaxing, and truly memorable, this is it.

Great location walking distance to everything, the whole place was pristine, inc the pool and gym. The food at the restaurant was 10/10 and the staff were so helpful. Honestly a quiet and peaceful hidden gem in busy Canggu.

Персонал помнит имена и готов всегда прийти на помощь. Особенная благодарность за помощь в момент когда я чувствовала себя плохо. Утром после завтрака в одном из модных кафе, я отравилась. Персонал сразу обратил внимание на мое состояние и предложил всю необходимую помощь и вызов врача. Это было так мило и так приятно. Вечером когда я поняла что ничего не ела, в ресторане ради меня приготовили обычный рис. Хотя его не было в меню. На следующий день они уточнили все ли у меня хорошо и приготовили овсяную кашу на воде и сладкий чай и всё это было комплиментом и поддержкой отеля. Это тронуло меня до глубины души. Это первый отель в моей жизни, где сотрудники запоминали бы имела и так трепетно относились а самочувствию своих посетителей. Благодарю от чистого сердца каждого сотрудника этого замечательного отеля!

All of the staff are super friendly and attentive ensuring our stay was wonderful. The location is great situated just off the main road with close proximity to bar, minimart, pharmacy. The restaurant served some nice food. The pool areas were very clean and look like the photos. The bed was extremely comfy and the minibar was well stocked. The shower was fantastic. Recommend staying here

I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is located in a great area, within walking distance of many coffee shops and restaurants. At the same time, the hotel and rooms are very cozy and quiet, tucked away from the noise of Canggu. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe staying at the hotel. The staff are amazing, attentive, caring, and very supportive. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend my time at Chesa. The hotel is modern, the room was comfortable very clean, and the food was good.

We really enjoyed the pleasant calm surroundings. The really friendly staff, the excellent food and great quiet location but close enough to everything in Canggu. Absolutely perfect in every way. Can’t recommend Chesa highly enough! Beautiful design with amazing attention to detail, super comfortable rooms and wonderful staff. The on-site restaurant (Thara) serves delicious meals - we were very impressed!

My first impression of this hotel is, it’s new! Everything is spick and span. As someone who loves to gym, theirs is great! Most of the machines including dumbbells are brand new. May not be like Obsidian but gets the job done. They have a lounge where you can help yourself to the food from 2-5pm. They served some appetisers, infused water, coffee and tea. I believe no matter what room you choose, they are facing the pool. They have 2 pools. I would like to reach out to Ariana, Dita and Tommy for their hospitality. Loving the personal touch and greetings by name. Always smiling and I feel the staff are handpicked carefully because every single one of them from kitchen staff to housekeeping crews are always smiling and greeting the hotel patrons cheerfully. Good culture being nurtured in the team. The location is superb! Walkable to places that you would want to go e.g. Milk and Madu, Gigi Susu, Old Man’s bar, Batu Bolong beach and quality massage places nearby.

Maybe a lats pulldown machine in the gym.
