Perfect location for the beach, a beautiful short walk along a path by the waters edge.. Sunny Cove Manor is perfect for peace and calm, beautifully appointed - an air of genteel tranquility, with the kind and thoughtful staff making you feel even more welcome. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I came back. Thank you!

Fantastisch verblijf. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Prachtig 100 jaar oud pand en volledig gerenoveerd. Wij hadden een kamer zonder zeezicht. Maar de tuin en huiskamer is zo ruim dat er altijd wel een plekje is om met de prachtige view te ontspannen. Op loopafstand van een lekker strandje. Voor horeca ga je naar het nabijgelegen Kalkbay. Parkeren op het terrein achter een hek. Fantastisch ontbijt.

The sea view is fantastic, the location is very convenient for roads in all directions going to sightseeing destinations. The Manor house is beautifully furnished. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Marion

Все - великолепно. Номер- уютный, не маленький, окна на океан. Везде очень чисто. Напор воды отличный. Потрясающе душевный персонал - как к родным приехали. Своя закрытая парковка. 3 мин до песчаного пляжа. Там - великолепный ресторан. Хек - наисвежайший. Завтрак - однообразный, но при вас приготовленный (яйца в любом виде), мюсли, сыры, йогурты, тосты, теплые круассаны. Очень удобное месторасположение и тихо и до всего рукой подать. Мы ходили пешком и ездили на электричке. Вода была вполне приемлемой для купания.

Super close access to Jaegers walk to the main beach! Breakfast superb, great views over the ocean while drinking your coffee. The little extras were delightful - fresh milk for morning coffee in the room, a little bottle of wine in the fridge. Delightful!

Our stay in Sunny Cove Manor was amazing, the attention given by the three ladies that manage the place was exceptional. Breakfast was far better than expected, and the place is super clean, cozy and give a feeling of a family home, not a hotel. It is close to restaurants, places to visit, the penguins in Boulder beach, and more. I'm very glad I picked this place to stay in Cape Town. Couldn't give it the 10 stars I wanted.

Breakfast was good with choices of cooked, fruit and/or cereal. Usually cooked by the manager (Sabine) who was very cheerful and helpful at all times. to the point where she came into work on her day off, to say goodbye to us. This was very nice. the PM Manager (Charmaine) was also very pleasant. Stunning views of the sea were to be had during breakfast and from the front rooms. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for either of them. We would highly recommend Sunny Cover Manor. It is also very security conscious, particularly at night. Please have a read of their information booklet to find out more about the staff, should you visit. Also; check out Sabine's lovely dog - Luna. A very gentle Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Sunny Cove Manor is situated off the main road and opposite a small railway station. Therefore expect some traffic noise and honking of the train as it arrives at the station. Please don't be put of by this as its very bearable. It is also a good walk into Fish Hoek (10 - 15 minutes) via Jager's walk. However, again its a pleasant walk along this walkway which is alongside the sea. Being from the UK, I personally found the security measures on all premises, somewhat intense.

This was one of the cutest, coolest places I've ever stayed! Totally renovated and modern, but still has a lot of charm and old-world feel. Delicious, made-to-order breakfasts. Every employee was so genuinely friendly. A quiet and serene location, right on the beach catwalk.

The staff were so kind and friendly, providing good recommendations for activities, food, and travel in the Western Cape. The building and rooms are quaint and cozy, with a lovely aea side atmosphere. The breakfast was wonderful every day!

Breakfast - options was available, prepared at time requested by hostess, wonderful view while enjoying breakfast. Staff created a safe and welcoming homely atmosphere. Staff showed an interest in their guests, gave information related to what was happening in the area, places to visit/see, guesthouse/room was always neat and tidy. We were within walking distance of the beach and small tide pool.

The Manor was just perfect. lovely friendly helpful managers. I had a beautiful room with an amazing view of the ocean. I couldn't have enjoyed it more.

Everything was in order, simple and to the point. Private, peaceful and quiet location. The view was to die for and everything was not to far to get to. It was just a secluded, romantic and relaxing location. The ladies made the stay even easier, very informative and there was also a book prepared to guide you on activities around the area you could participate in or go to.

I Loved Everything.

The house was lovely and in a great location with super views The hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of activities to do nearby and good for exploring the Cape. Loads of great restaurants too.

We were very cold in the rooms, though we recognise it was winter! The heaters then provided did help a wee bit. The breakfast was very nice though more limited cooked items than anywhere else we had stayed. The hospitality tray/water in fridge wasn't replenished or overly generously stocked.

The breakfast was a delight, cooked by Margaret-Ann. She made sure that I had gluten-free options as requested. The breakfast room offers a beautiful view over False Bay, adding to a relaxing expereince.

This review of Sunny Cove Manor in Fish Hoek ...a little late, but finally compete, after daily mental reminders calling to me for publication since our return to UK after an amazing time in Cap Town, South Africa. There were 2 of us who stayed 15 Feb- 24th feb 2024 at Sunny Cove Manor & right from the start, our experienc was special.. Step 1: Our booking: Handled impressively with swift & fluid transaction. Directions to Sunny Cove Manor from the Airport, were provided automatically via email, great help, especially if visitors don't know the country/ area. Step 2: Arrival / Check in: Handled with ease and completely fluidly. Although only a staircase (no steep stairs), there's a luggage lift to avoid hauling heavy cases up the stairs which is a god send! Location: The Sunny Cove Manor is perfectly situated, just a short walk to the beach, as well as easy access with car. Vehicle Parking/Security: Secure on site parking with automated security gate lock up over night. 3 ladies run the Sunny Cove Manor Guest House: Margaret- Anne (Owner), Sabine & Charmaine. The positive, welcoming & hospitable service theses 3 ladies provide to their guests is amazing -Nothing is 'too much trouble', & being 'locals' to the area themselves, they are a treasure of information about the areas history, places to visit & general interesting stories / tips to enhance their visitors stay. Accomodation: Various rooms to choose from. (we chose the Double room with sea view- Very Comfortable!). Room is tastefully decorated with polished wood flooring & high ceilings, nimifridge & tea making facilities.

Nothing negative about this place at all. Everything was lovely. The Breakfast selection is amazing. We didn't want to leave.Sunny Cove Manor is a Gem & we look forward to our next visit.

The location and view from the dining room was exceptional The entire home was clinically clean. Breakfast as prepared by Sabine was absolutely delicious and her knowledge of the area was outstanding. We would love to return to this venue.

Super location, staff lovely, breakfast excellent

Not much except our room (smallest, and yes, cheapest) was a tiny little bit cramped (not the bathroom). But more than adequate.

- Location can not be improved upon. Over one road onto the promenade towards the swimming beach. Perfect for walking, for swimming, and surrounded by breath-taking views. A garden for reading, or a comfy lounge well equipped with books for the surprise rainy day. My room had amazing views of False Bay. As a huge bonus the room was equipped with ground coffee for an early morning treat, fresh milk, and it was replenished as required. Housekeeping staff do an awesome job there was nothing that could be cleaner or neater.

Absolutely amazing house and rooms with very kind and hospitable staff. All travelers heading to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach - it is a must to stay here for a few days and enjoy the unforgettable atmosphere.

My stay was exceptional. Their attention to detail is remarkable. Sabine was a perfect hostess and so accommodating. This was definitely one of my favorite accommodation experiences and the location is perfect and just to mention breathtaking.

Sunny Cove Manor is a delightful place situated in a perfect location for visiting False Bay , just steps away from the charming coastal catwalk to Fish Hoek and very close to Kalk Bay and Glen Cairn Thr property has been renovated to the highest standards , with so much attention to detail , wonderful beds and bathrooms. The managers are courteous, friendly and attentive I shall most definitely rebook for my next trip !
