The room was clean and our rooms were close together. We booked two rooms because we had six people with us.

The pool was dirty, we had four children with us. That’s why we booked this hotel. The pool was a bonus feature of staying over. We are from Kincardine, but we live 3 hours away and we were visiting family. If we knew the pool was going to be dirty and un taken care of, we would’ve booked a different hotel with a pool .

We stayed in a suite. The roommate large and clean. The breakfast was fine but basic. There was no waffle machine and I had been looking forward to this. My husband went down to look at pool, and he could smell the chlorine right away (strong smell).

There were silver fish in the bathroom. My wife tried to reach me by phone thru reception and she was questioned unnecessarily. Who was she and the nature of her call, and was i expecting her call. Very rude.

The reason we choose this hotel was because it has hot tub. The hut tub was out of service for several days and they did not mentioned it in the web site when we booked

Big room, two queen beds that was nice

Toilet tank was leaking, there were some issues with the lever. Stuff offered us to move to another room but we didn't want to waste time on that. I'd rather the tank was not leaking in the first place.

Always enjoy the breakfast! Good assortment of nutritional breakfast foods, fresh and well stocked. Great coffee too! The staff are pleasant and always willing to help!

No complaints. Our door lock was not working properly, but it was fixed as soon as we noticed the front desk.

Bathroom was too cold, fridge was off, coffeemaker did not work, elevator floors were not clean, shower did not drain, rooms had no pictures , I asked for a phone charger that never got to my room, aircondition in the hallway made it feel we were in the North Pole. This hotel was not like other comfort inns, a not comfortable in.

Toilet in the room was broken, we had to fix the pump every time we flushed. When we brought it up to the staff they didn’t seem overly concerned. Continental breakfast seemed like it had been sitting out of hours, not great quality. Would not stay for the price point again.

The front desk staff excused their lack of usb charging ports because the property is 15 years old. I suggested they simply buy some lamps with built in chargers.

I will never again use your booking site, when I got to the comfort in, in kincardin they didn't have me booked in. Yet I had a confirmation email. My credit card was charged $163 for a hotel somewhere else. Yet I had asked the individual that was changing my booking at least 3 x, this is for the comfort in, in kincardin. I totally wasted $ 203 because the person who was "changing my booking date" charged me another $40.. thanks for waisting my money!

Not very clean! Pool area was very hot and condensation was dripping off of every wall. Room cleaners left the door open by accident as it didn’t fully close unless you pulled it shut, Was open all day while we were out. Luckily nothing was taken.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy! My request to move rooms was done without issue and very quickly. Staff members were all friendly and hospitable. Great experience!

Breakfast but on weekend with crowd attendant had difficulty keeping up with demand of food. Did his best m but could have used bit help.

My stay, (4 nights), was safe , quiet, and perfectly relaxing. The pool and hot tub were quite relaxing. I will stay here again in the future.

The front desk attendant was very welcoming, polite and accommodating.

The sheets and towels smelled used, like oily hair or sweaty body. There was a poop diaper under one of the beds. 🤢 we couldn't figure out the smell and we found that.

The hotel is very quiet, close to local shopping and restaurants, also minutes away from downtown and the harbour.

Other than the pool the hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. The manager was willing to open the breakfast area for us to play games in on the rainy day. The food at breakfast was not very warm.

Jacuzzi (nice and hot) and Pool were amazing since the temperature was perfect - rare. Size of the pool is perfcet also. And the room was super clean. Bed - comfortable, clean and well done. Breakfast eggs nicely done! Gym was clean and provided water. Ice provided. In would just come back fot the jacuzzi- please don't change it!

A bit of bad smell in the hall between the rooms- maybe it was the carpet. Breakfast in general could be better, like to provide better quality of juice, but eggs were nicely done! In the gym through the "quick start" tried to start the running machine but it did not work as usual for me, but the rest the gym was very good for my needs.

Easy and quick check in. Pool area was well used and out of soap but everything worked and we enjoyed our stay.

Boston Pizza beside for dinner. In Auto Mall area. Decent pool. Property is a bit dated. Breakfast was acceptable for being included, though some fresh fruit would have been appreciated. Pleasant staff.

Standard, as expected. Easy free parking, easy to get to beach and through town. Boston pizza, Tim Hortons and grocery all walkable. Clean hotel, wifi was good. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, and the none staff member seemed to have trouble keeping things stocked/replenished during the morning rush.

The pool area was extremely hot, the water was not refreshing at all. The pool itself needed a good clean, there was a black ring around the liner.

The rooms were clean, beds and bedding comfortable. Our request for late checkout was accommodated.

The hallways smelled like the carpet was old and dirty. The breakfast was awful. Eggs overcooked, pancakes rubbery, orange juice diluted and not pure juice. Coffee was watered down.

Hot tub was barely warm. Could use a better cleaning.

Overall it was a lovely small hotel, conveniently located. Pros: location, parking, ok breakfast that is included, rather quiet with some friendly reception workers and maids. Cons: quality and cleanliness of sheets and towels... Some towels were so worn out you could see through them and most had traces of makeup or yellow stains. We had to mostly use ours we brought with us as the hotel's sheets and linens needed a bleach bath

The bathroom in our room was not cleaned. The toilet had a ring of scum and the floor had pee all over it. Bathroom not cleaned for days! The room smells horrible. The bed so uncomfortable, pillows unbelievably bad. Not recommended. Waste of money.

Breakfast was quite sufficient. It had everything needed for a decent breakfast. The breakfast area was clean and the coffee was quite good!!

there were a couple items that were out but that was our timing. I’m sure they were refilled as they were ready. There could have been a better selection of muffins. Only one kind but again, could have been our timing and perhaps more came out after we left. Still it was all quite sufficient and acceptable .

The hotel is dated. They have not kept the rooms in great condition. For example, the washrooms are very dated, grime and small amounts of mold can be seen with naked eye. The carpet in the rooms has a musty smell. There are cob webs in the corners. We stayed for two nights and there were five of us. Our room wasn’t cleaned while we were away during the day on day 1 of our stay. Garbage had piled high over two days. We did not get a replishment of towels or toilet paper. I went down to speak with the GM and told him that our room wasn’t cleaned and that we needed towels ( we had dinner reservations at 7pm and I asked for the towels at 4:30 pm). He told me that some one would come to the room to deliver the towels. 30 mins passes and still no towels. I went back down and demanded the towels as we all needed to shower and depart in under two hours. The pool area was disgusting. The humidity levels in the pool area were gross and smell of chlorine was significant. It’s almost if they just threw chlorine in the pool to cover something up. The biggest issue was that the room wasn’t cleaned and our items that we needed weren’t replenished.

I have never stayed at a hotel that was so unkept. The room itself was clean but the hotel had a bad odour- the pool was disgusting. We booked for the pool which was very cloudy with a rim of dirt around the entire pool edge and chunks of hair floating in the pool. We swam (with great hesitation) but did not stay in long given this condition. It was just too gross. Day two was the same condition. We also had a clogged toilet and asked for it to be plunged. The desk handed my husband the plunger. I would expect MUCH more for the price we paid! What was advertised was not what we received. Dirty pool & overall less than clean- outside of room.

Cleaning. My room was never cleaned, towels were never replaced and they even put a “do not disturb” sign at my door I guess as an excuse to not clean the room even after complaining

Check in said 4:00 I got there at 4:30 and told it would be another 10 minute wait before I could access my room. Rooms were noisy, which made it hard to sleep Other than that, everything else was acceptable

The general manager checked us in and was rude and said he was tired. The room was nice but had a musty smell. The young man at the counter after was nice and friendly. Check out was the same experience with a rude general manager

The breakfast honestly was pretty gross. The staff were nice and helpful. And the ice machine on the second floor seemed to not want to give us ice.

Middle of the road stay. It was clean enough that I wasn't worried about bugs or anything but the hotel is overall dingy and could definitely use an upgrade. The wall paper is peeling is some places, the lights are yellow light and flicker to turn on. Our room had a white, I'm assuming milk, stain on the coffee table. We also found a left over sock from a previous family under our bed. I would say you get a surface clean. Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean and there were clean towels. It's fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep.

The hotel's location is incredible, just steps away from the beach. However, the overall service falls short of expectations. Room service is quite slow, and housekeeping does not clean the tooms regularly. Breakfast service is also disappointing, with delays in refilling the buffet, which is only available for 3 hours window, not ideal for guests who dont want to sprnd their morning waiting.

The whole place has a strong human scent, the room also smells and I had to spray almost a bottle of deodorant and try opening the window so that I could get to breathe more comfortable. The phone isn’t picked up at nights and both staff at front desk including general manager are very uninterested in taking the suggestions, they just rolled eyes and said “Ok, ok” really bad costumer service.

First time in this town. Location decent drive to downtown. Breakfast was good times 730-930am. Variety on breakfast: eh: waffles toast eggs sausage, coffee juices cereal lots to choose from. Lady who did breakfast prep very nice.

Desk greeter mediocre, lacked in welcoming newcomers for their first time there. First impression are important. We were always kind to staff. Desk clerk Felt robotic. Room decent size, but,upon our arrival in the room, underneath bed not vacuumed. (Also had an empty pop can of Frizi,underneath bed). Corner chair had garbage behind it. Worst thing , the bed should be given it’s last rites. Old ,sunk in and springs hurt our back AND best part(not!), had wood holding the mattress base up.(pictures incl’d.).never seen anything like this before in a hotel. The reason to stay here was for sleeping comfort while visiting town. People pay a lot to stay at these places, and should not have to pay for a bed held up by wood pieces. We stayed at comfort inns before, it’s always been positive experience , this is just an exception never experienced this before, not difficult to correct, Thank you for your time.
