Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Nuestra estancia fue muy buena. El desayuno estaba riquísimo y el café especialmente bueno, algo que agradecíamos mucho cada mañana. El trato por parte del personal fue excelente desde el primer momento: todos fueron muy amables, atentos y acogedores, haciéndonos sentir muy a gusto durante toda la estancia. Si tuviera que poner alguna pega, sería únicamente la ubicación, ya que no es la más cómoda para moverse por las principales zonas turísticas de Ciudad del Cabo. Por todo lo demás, estuvimos encantados y nos llevamos una experiencia muy positiva del hotel. ¡Muchas gracias por hacernos sentir tan bien!

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Das Zimmer ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Für den Winter gibt es zusätzlich noch eine kleine Standheizung. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber sind so unglaublich sympathisch und nett. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das persische Rührei...mhmmmm... Was wir definitiv empfehlen können ist: Abends dort essen. Einfach mit den Gastgebern abstimmen, was es geben soll. Die Kinder haben die Nudeln (Bolognese oder Chicken) so geliebt. Wir waren 3 Abende da. Unglaublich lecker!!! Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für Ausflüge nach Stellenbosch, Kapstadt City oder auch für weitere Orte an der Küste.

My room was not cleaned the following day I had to stay 2 days in a room that was not cleaned the following day on our stay No aircons, was using a heater which was not fully warming the whole house The TV was not playing On a day 2 after I bathed the second person I shared room with did not get warm water Breakfast was really not appetising but eatable

Reviewed May 25, 2026Oh my goddesses!! I liked everything from the staff, the facilities, my room? I had a surprise waiting for us as I traveled with my 2 daughters and it was an upgraded room, I would stay in that my entire life the way I loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it's all thanks to Hamid for the warmest welcome even way before we arrived, the surprise morning birthday celebration for my other daughter....the rest of the crew was just as amazing. I'm definitely coming back!
Breakfast was great but I feel like it could be more versatile. I really loved the music that was playing in the background and I loved the decorative lounge.

Rien de particulier pour le logement. L'environnement reste très résidentiel et manque d'animation le soir :peu/pas de restaurants, bars, boutiques à proximité)

Reviewed May 3, 2026De ontvangst was heel hartelijk en warm. De gastheer deed er alles aan om je thuis te laten voelen en gaf overal informatie over. Het appartement was prima qua omvang, netjes qua hygiëne en tuin genoeg voor ons gezin. Wij zouden er zeker nog een keer gebruik van maken. De locatie was heel veilig en mooi. 5 minuten wandelen naar het strand met een fenomenaal uitzicht op de Tafelberg. Het is zelfs mogelijk (mits op tijd aangegeven) om gebruik te maken van een diner aan huis. Wij hebben dit een keer gegaan en was erg goed bevallen.
Er waren geen kritische punten.

I think the host likes to hug and is on the touchy side, I am the apposite. Other than, he was an amazing host.

Man ist schnell mit dem Auto Downtown und bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten Kapstadts. Auch ist man schnell in ca. 30 min am Flughafen. Am Strand gibt es viele gute Restaurants mit toller Aussicht.

Nous avons pu profiter de Cap Town à environ 20min en voiture du centre ville selon les horaires. Super petit dej. L'équipe d'Ocean vibes est au top ! Disponibles, accueillants et la cuisine est délicieuse !!!

Reviewed Mar 7, 2026Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereites Personal!!!!! Sehr gutes Frühstück in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Parkmöglichkeit. Busstation 10 Minuten entfernt (unbedingt mit dem Bus nach Kapstadt fahren und auf keinen Fall mit dem Auto). Strand und Restaurants ca. 15 Min zu Fuß entfernt. Bett war ok. Bewertung eigentlich eine 9.
Da der Eigentümer so nett war, fällt es schwer, etwas Negatives zu schreiben. So kamen wohl auch die vielen sehr positiven Bewertungen zustande. Ich wollte eigentlich keine Bewertung schreiben, wurde aber immer wieder dazu aufgefordert. - keine Klimaanlage und Durchzugsmöglichkeit nur bei geöffneter Tür. Abends daher warm im Zimmer. - kleines Badezimmer - eine alte Fußbodenmatte im Badezimmer, die echt eklig war. Wir legten sie weg, sie wurde aber wieder ins Badezimmer zurück gelegt. - die sehr netten und ordentlichen Reinigungskräfte sortierten ohne unsere Aufforderung unsere Sachen ein und um - wir hatten keinen privaten Balkon! - das Frühstück nahm man auf der Tischdecke ohne Unterlagen ein - das Geländer an der Außentreppe war so dreckig, das man es nicht anfassen wollte

Bequemes Bett, täglich frische Handtücher und ein sehr leckeres, reichhaltiges, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Sichere Gegend. Gute Kommunikation mit Hamiji bereits vor der Anreise. Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Supper Lage. Nahe am Bloubergstrand mit Blick auf den Tafelbergen und kurzer Fußweg zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Ruhige und sichere Wohngegend. Parken im geschlossenen Hof oder auf Abstellplätzen an der Straße. Überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer mit Namen Hamid. Familiengeführtes kleines Restaurant im Haus, in welchem ChefMo leckere und authentische persische Gerichte zubereitet.
Das Zimmer war für uns als Paar, für vier Nächte, ausreichend groß. WC und Dusche sind gewöhnungsbedürftig klein. Die Dusche selbst ist phantastisch. Das Frühstück ist wenig abwechslungsreich. Kaffee und Tee sind lecker.

Bis ins Stadtzentrum benötigt man mit dem Uber, je nach Verkehr, 20-30 Minuten. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Hervorzuheben sind die Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber sowie die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Vielen Dank!
Wir haben lediglich Nachttischlampen vermisst und ein wenig mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück.

The food was good, Persian tea was nice, and the staff were super friendly - the manager was helpful!.He rearranged our check-out to suit our flight time. Ocean Vibes feels like a home away from home 😊💯❤️

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026I think they could do better on Breakfast, like putting more protein variety. And the eggs for example omelet could be added in their range because they have their chef on-site so they could use his services by making fresh sunshine eggs or omelet as the guests are waiting.
As much as the staff is friendly but they stand too close to guests and stare whilst we eat making us uncomfortable. So they can check on their guests from time to time, but in overall we liked the Xhosa lady she was very helpful and friendly.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025The location of the guest house is good one minute next to the beach. Rooms are fresh and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Yoooo!! the guest house manager Mr Hamid was always friendly and helpful. The staff members together with the chef were 👌 super. I can recommend it to my family and friends. Thank you Hamid on behalf of Teme's family we are saying God bless you 🙏

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025We felt very welcome at Ocean Vibes. Very friendly host as well as the other staff. Went out of their way to make sure everything is ok. Close to the beach and shopping centre. The room and bathroom were clean. We enjoyed the delicious variety of breakfast options.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2025Die Lage war für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt. In fünf Minuten am Meer, Restaurants um die Ecke, super sicher und in 20-30 Minuten mit dem Uber in Stadt. Hamid und sein Team gehen mit Ihrem Service und Ihrer Aufmerksamkeit für den Gast weit über das gewohnte Maß hinaus. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück ist einfach aber total lecker (Tipp: die selbstgemachte Erdbeermarmelade ist ein Traum ;-)). Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen, kann ich meinen 5-jährigen Sohn zitieren, welcher aus dem Nichts zu uns sagte: „Ich fühle mich wie zu Hause“! Das sagt alles aus! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!
Wir können nichts kritisieren.

If you need to do tours or need transportation, he helped with that as well. The rooms and comfortability were exceptional. We will definitely stay there on our next trip as well.

From the first moment, I felt like I was back home — especially when dining with them and spending time having warm, sweet chats. Hamid is the first person you meet when you arrive, and he is pure positive energy and good vibes. He makes you feel instantly comfortable and truly at home. I was also fortunate to meet Sassan, the owner. He has deep knowledge, rich experience and an amazing attitude of gratitude towards every person who stays there. You can feel how much he cares about people. I genuinely hope that next time I can bring my family to Cape Town so they can stay there and experience the same warmth, comfort and hospitality that I did. +Amazing location + Very good food+ clean room Highly recommended.
