Lagoon Beach Hotel Apartments

The location is good, close to the beach

Small TV, not smart for my kids especially; Blinds in the bedroom allow too much light in at night; A lot of noise in the passage when people are pulling their suitcase (should put carpets); need for a small entertainment room for younger kids to play preferably next to the restaurant, enforce rules regarding noise at night...

We loved the breakfast spread as well as the friendly and efficient service from all the staff we interacted with, from the time we checked into the apartment, until we left. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and dinner served at the hotel restaurant. The location was awesome and we enjoyed the stunning sunsets on the beach in the late afternoons.

There wasn't anything that we disliked.

It was an excellent stay.

It needed maintenance which was not done after reporting it to reception and housekeeping a few times.

There was no hot water, it was cold in the room. It took me requesting a manager before a heater could be brought to the room. The front desk staff ignored my concerns until I got a manager involved. There was a warer bug, the iron didn't work, there was a second one that was given to us and it burned a hole in my new pants. The cleaning lady gave us a comforter that had blood. I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. They have to do better. The manager is supposed to credit me one night that has not been done yet.

Was very unhappy with the entire Experience, Staff was not eager to assist us we arrived 15min earlier and did ask if possible if room was ready and it was not, at 14h00pm it was still not ready and Front of house was waiting for housekeeping to let them know. The Photos on Booking.com did not look like the apartment we got, Photos are of a new modern Sea view apartments, our rooms were not sea view, furniture was old and nothing looked like the Photos. Our 2 year old wanted to play on the grass but we could not let him as there were a burts water pipe or Drain water and it was concerning. When talking to Manager he showed us a different apartment but it looked exactly the same. We told him the place does not look like the photos and he said to us that there has been complaints about that.

The location is perfect,the hotel has most of the facilities you will need,beach breeze heated pool for the cold weather

We booked 2 apartments and 1 hotel room, and the cleaner doesn't do justice in cleaning, I don't know which cleaning detergents they are using for the bathrooms,but the bathrooms aren't so clean,you have to wait for almost 2 hours waiting for the house keeping to provide you with basic things like toilet paper,towels for the bathroom,coffee ,when we book it clearly shows that there will be 4 adults in each apartments,but they will provide one toilet paper,you request it they will come after an hour

Sea view

Unorganized, we booked a certain apartment that was worth over 10k but we were given an apartment worth 7k, with no explanation, when we ask we get told that the one we booked is not available . We had to force the check in , by 3pm we were told that the apartment is still being cleaned, when we got inside, the apartment indeed was being cleaned a d it was filthy, we had no choice but to go inside as one of us was very sick, after passing the time at the restaurant. We arrived at 12 waiting for 2pm to check in, at 3 we were told that it’s not ready, that’s when we said we need to go inside so that we can rest and prepare for the show we went to attend in Cape Town

The location was good and the food was great, and the service was good .

The coaches in the hotel were not appealing with respect to the colour . The room was cold , even though the heater was available , it caused suffocation . An air-condition would have been much better.

Lovely location and lots of space in the apartment.

The place is in serious need of maintenance. And the noise from the corridor right outside the second bedroom was not acceptable.

Felt very cold and clinical in winter. Long way to walk to our room , past open rooms being renovated. Did not feel very safe. Shower head loose and difficult to use Broken soap dish .

I got a better room last time I was there, was a bit disappointed with the partial Seaview apartment? You needed to get out to see the ocean, so for me that is not a partial Seaview.

The best and it meet the expectation

the staff that was not willing to understand that we booked according to our expectation. She was telling us the photos on booking.com are wrong! But I was happy that one good staff took us serious and help us to get what we booked for.

1. Our room smelled like a wet dog. It was as though the carpets were washed and not given enough time to dry. One of the rooms even had a big wet slimy looking spot on the carpet. 2. It looked too different from the pictures. What we got was not similar to what we expected based on the images on bookings.com 3. The sliding doors couldn't open. We aren't sure if they were deliberately bolted shut or if they were broken. 4. Reception was really unfriendly. When we asked for information they brushed us off without taking the time to properly help us.

Breakfast was okay, baked beans were very bad. Dinner was very bad and it took the kitchen an hour to bring us our food.

Dinner was bad and it took an hour to be ready. Both lady and man were improfessional and rude to me when I was checking in since i told them my apartmwnt was different from what I saw on the booking.com App.

Room has telephone that doesn’t work, no air conditioner , they gave us a room very far from the reception and made it difficult to walk all the times to order food

It’s a beachfront property with amazing views to the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, A+ cleanliness with amazing and detail oriented staff, excellent breakfast buffet (should be paid when booking), excellent restaurants. An unforgettable experience to share with friends and family. For sure will recommend to everyone and will repeat

Everything is OK for me

There is hardly any circulation in the apartment. When i asked for a fan, it took a few hours and me following up to receive it. I ended up getting my own from family in the city for myself and my family to be comfortable. Cleaning was very poor Everyday was something different not being cleaned properly. Either garbage not cleaned, floor still showing shoe marks, toilet still had hair on the floor. Glass table not even wiped down.

Breakfast was excellent, gave a variety and with different menus daily.

The Apartment was not value for money. It looked way different from the one I picked from this site.

Beautiful spacious apartment with well resourced kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and lounge. The staff are friendly. The free shuttle service also a good bonus.

False advertising, posting different pictures to what the exact apartment looks like. Lack of transparency and communication. Overcharging for an apartment that was not at the level of the booking!!!! When we chose on booking.com, we know exactly what we are looking for and EXPECT TO RECEIVE!!!

Описание отеля вообще не соответствует факту, окна комнаты выходят в общий коридор, в шкафу не исправный бойлер , окна с кухни так же выходят в общий коридор. И при отмене бронирования из-за данной проблемы еще и сняли за 1 сутки деньги , что считаю вообще не справедливым!!!!

Excellent room service. Huge apartments with big glass fronts for the perfect view and a nice breeze from the sea.

Thank you very much. We had a really good time with in Lagoon Beach and the Service is perfect. I’m a very picky sleeper and the personell went out of their way to make sure the bed was soft enough for me. Thank you. We will come back and enjoy it again. The view out of our room was incredible, especially during sunset.

Beware of price gouging - this hotel is just like the airlines. The prices go up every day as we approach easter. If they had integrity, they would fix a price for a holiday period for accommodation and stick with it. Disgusting

AC was not working, the room was freezing on the highest setting and maintenance could not understand when we explained it was making too cold

Apartment was in a bad condition, broken cupboards, no fan or aircon and missing utensils to make food properly.

Great location, central with 3 good quality Restaurants so no need to travel for food. Breath taking views situated on a pristine beach. The hotel is well geared for international guests.

There were only a few dstv channels and we couldn't add our own netflix, showmax details to watch them because the tv was not a smart tv

Our apartment had cockroaches and our bed was not covered with a sheet. I had to request for a change the following day.We arrived late at night just before midnight

I really enjoyed the food from the hotel restaurant, and the location it was easy to take the morning walk.
