Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Niks!
Bonita casa.
Rustig gelegen. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijtbuffet.
Weinig restaurants, bars in de buurt.
The old villa is charming, the common breakfast table is great and the staff is sweet.
The roomers very small and we could hear everything outside the door and on the street
Beautiful and clean boutique hotel, very attentive staff and great location.
The code system on bedroom and bathroom were very inconvenient and excessive. Key cards would have been better. Also, the washroom was very tiny and difficult to maneuver within.
Location, staff, secure, breakfast
Cold rooms, and shower heads have a heater attached so to get hot water you do not get a lot of water pressure.
Good location and beautiful house.
Show head and water is a bit small and not hot enough.
Great place, well located in a nice neighbourhood near lots of bars and cafes. Homely feel and friendly authentic Colombian hosts who made us very welcome. Great breakfast and nice room.
No complaints. Slightly cold in the evening perhaps.
Staff, facilities.
Detached bathroom.
Homey feel
Nothing
Clean, minimal noise, comfortable beds The staff are very sweet
Initial room did not have a bathroom despite a misleading claims about a private bath Internet speed is slow but this may be a bogota wide problem The owner manager gave me another room to accommodate my needs She has very strict rules of visitors, attire The manager looks very strict! Make sure you read those first my stay was like visiting a private apartment
loved it... the staff made the stay great. it's an old house so keep that in mind when booking.
Acceptable comparing to other places in Colombia that we have seen.
Noise from the street. Boring breakfast (but this is standard for Colombia :)) No communication in English.
Good location, friendly staff and very clean.Good breakfast
Bathroom was cold as window wouldn’t close
From the moment I arrived, I knew I had discovered something special. Floralia Casa Boutique is a true treasure, offering a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and convenience. The breakfast was absolutely top-notch, setting the tone for each day with delicious, high-quality options. My bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the WiFi was strong, making it easy to stay connected. A special shoutout to Ingrid and the rest of the team—they were beyond accommodating, always ensuring I had everything I needed for a seamless stay. The attention to detail in the facility itself is remarkable, with beautifully designed spaces that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location is also fantastic! Just steps away (less than 50 meters) are a couple of great little markets for essentials and a convenient wash-and-fold laundry service—small details that make a big difference when traveling. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. Floralia Casa Boutique is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience you won’t forget!
One thing to be aware of is that the hotel is in a Water Zone, meaning there is one day a month when the area experiences a scheduled water outage. Unfortunately, this happened on my first night after a long flight from Europe, so I was unable to freshen up. While this is not the hotel's fault, it’s something to keep in mind. I’d recommend checking with them in advance to see if your stay coincides with this and preparing accordingly. Also, I wish they had some way to move the air in the room. It would be nice if they had an oscilating fan or something mounted on the wall.
Location is perfect, lovely old house, very homey feel. Staff was friendly, place was clean, decent wifi. Lots of character.
Didn't like plastic covers on pillows (eventually took them off) and some rooms have a private bath that's not en suite. Check since each room is individual.
The building was beautiful, the staff were kind and extremely helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!
The small boutique hotel was charming and had many touches that made it feel homey. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and responded quickly to last minute changes.
Nothing-
Nice room and good location close to bars and restaurants. Nice breakfast and staff
The bathroom is extremely small - not sure if it’s like that is all rooms though
The friendly and family atmosphere that Marilu and Kevin are creating! Second time in a short period and it really feels like home!
Nothing!
Location
Room too small for 3 people Bed v uncomfortable Room cold as windows does not close properly
Ok listen! The place is a house which was turned into a small hotel. Of course one can find things to complain about BUT the energy of Marilu and the rest of the staff is so strong that you don’t even care about the small things!
Not worth mentioning
Lovely old building with tons of charm. Nice neighborhood.
Strange pillows, no water for most of a day.
Badkamer onvoldoende grote. Geen verwarming in de kamer. Ontbijt onvoldoende aanbod
Super friendly staff, they let us check-in and check-out at night which was great because it was our first days in Colombia. Breakfast was tasty, room simple but we found everything we need!
The water pressure in the shower was too low, it was impossible to wash hair properly. We understand that this is probably because of the high altitudes of Bogota.
Very clean, feels like home, stayed here for four days
Great clean house, comfortable bed and good sized room, friendly helpful staff, adequate breakfast. Safe area....although I felt ok in Bogata generally in my 5 day visit.
Shower could be better and room was facing to road so bit noisy at times - some sound proofing could be handy. Hotel is 5km from historic centre - would have liked to be nearer in hindsight.
Everything was perfect! It exceeded my expectations. The staff was awesome. The attention and care they gave us were excellent! The area is very safe and there are supermarkets in walking distance. You can reach any important landmark or neighborhood with Uber and it's not expensive at all. We just have a recommendation: please consider adding a mirror in rooms because it's inconvenient for people to get dressed without a mirror.
Very cute antique place
The staff of the hotel was very supportive and friendly. They helped us to organize transport and to find our way around.
Like many of the places in Bogota, it was quite cold inside and we lacked some space for luggage and to place our things for 4 persons.
Very friendly and helpful team at this little hotel. Myvl room was brightvand the bathroom modern, with a good shower. Appreciated the free coffee & teas!
Missing a mirror in the room - especially when the bathroom is across the hall that would be really useful. Otherwise all good!
Nice room in a beautiful renovated house in a safe part of Bogota. Warm welcome and a nice breakfast. A bit of a challenge to get hot water.
We had a nice welcome from Kevin who got us settled despite a very late arrival
It was clean, safe and well positioned
Everything. The staff was wonderful, especially Kevin and Marylou. Communal breakfast was great. Our room was on the first floor which was nice after we put the children to bed, my husband and I were able to read in the front room and be within ears reach of our bedroom. Location was quiet and clean.
Cant really think of anything here.
The highlights of our visit were the absolute cleaniness of our room and bathroom, it was impecable!, the other one was kevin! the afternoon concierge, he was very nice and willing to help us out with everything that we need aid.
The afternoon concierge Marilu after kevin left, we were leaving early in the morning around 6 am with the cab waiting and came to the hotel like 15min late and we were desperate to leave the hotel and checkout
Floralia is a newly renovated boutique hotel in a beautiful historic home. The neighborhood was largely residential but a 20 minute walk takes you to a fantastic food area filled with some of the best restaurants in Bogota. A short taxi ride takes you to key sights. This hotel feels very safe and the staff are helpful in every way.
Staff were super friendly but not always had initiative.
There was not hot water. Staff gave me another shower but in this one the water was boiling. Issue was not fixed for the next day.
I have never in my life, felt more taken care of than I did here at Florella Casa boutique. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Kevin and Marilu looked after my every need. This is a beautiful facility, a beautiful old home that was completely renovated and converted into a small hotel.
Nothing
Amazing hotel. It is really beautiful and well located.
Very nice little hotel in a good area of Bogota, with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Staff was the best ever, very customer minded.
The rooms facing the street has just too much noise in the evenings. No hot water in the shower
Very beautiful and comfortable and the staff was very friendly
Nothing. I loved everything
The team operating the facility is fantastic. Super helpful and kind.
Couldn’t figure out how to use the smart tv. No passwords provided or instructions on how to use local channels. The inner pillow material is bulky plastic-like material that seems to be a sanitary decision but it’s awkward feeling. Rooms are on the smaller side but that’s ok.
The area is near 7th Ave and so there is a bit of noise as with most locations in Bogotá. I loved the boutique style, the decor and fact that it is not a boring Marriott. The staff was uber attentive and polite, the breakfast was very nice.
However, some of the larger and newer hotels have better noise isolation with double pane windows, etc.
Very friendly welcome from the staff who were so helpful throughout our stay. Great location with a yellow taxi rank a few meters away. Selection of restaurants about 5-10 min walk away. Upmarket area only 15 min to centre of town. Lovely old house converted for guests.
Charming property beautifully renovated but what made it special was the lovely helpful friendly staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good sized, nicely appointed and very comfortable. It is a beautiful old house that has been nicely decorated and updated.
Very comfortable and secure
Everything was fine
I loved that the place was newly renovated, with clean room, bathrooms and common areas. My favorite part of the hotel was nice fireplace where I was able to meet fellow travelers while enjoying a complementary "canelazo" drink.
I have stayed in many hotels throughout my life but very few times I have had a true premium experience. This was one of them. The location is on point, the historic house renovation is amazing, staff is wonderful, breakfast service is superb, rooms are elegant, spaces and ambiance for socializing and meeting people are very well designed. (Fellow travelers I met there were cultured and interesting.) By all means I recommend Floralia to anyone traveling to Bogota and looking for a premium experience.
