Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Las habitaciones junior no cuentan con aire acondicionado, fuimos buscando descanso y fue todo lo contrario, viernes y sábado tiene un pasa día en el cual son más importantes las personas que van a pasar el día que el huésped. Un dj con música alta todo el día, nos tuvimos que ir y pasar el día fuera para poder llegar y descansar cuando él pasa día termino. Las habitaciones junior no tienen aire acondicionado ni una buena vista, se siente encerrado y al llegar había aguan saliendo de abajo de la cama, cuando la levantaron para limpiar había un desastre de sucio con agua… El hotel es muy bonito, es una lástima.

One thing to keep in mind is transportation for getting around Guatape . The front desk staff were very friendly, and they help you whenever you need it.

Hay un tramo en la vía que se encuentra en vía destapada. Esta sección es bastante estrecha y presenta un sector con lodo, huecos y una pendiente pronunciada al mismo tiempo. Tuve muchas dificultades para salir de este punto ya que el carro me perdió tracción y fue necesario impulsarlo en varias ocasiones. Durante la maniobra, una de las piedras golpeó mi vehículo y le ocasionó un rayón. También considero que la calidad de la comida tiene oportunidades de mejora para estar a la altura de las excelentes instalaciones.

Desde restaurante, hasta las actividades acuáticas, servicio de masaje e incluso transporte por el lago hasta el pueblito de Guatape. Literalmente Todo disponible en el mismo hotel. Además de el jacuzzi que a pesar de estar frío el clima, lo pudimos disfrutar incluso de noche. VOLVERÉ! Gracias a Daniel que fue tan amable

Reviewed May 1, 2026The property is located in a nice area of the lake the rooms are elegant and spacious. They offer breakfast and is amazing also the place has a restaurant where also the food is amazing and the staff is very attentive and friendly
Only two things I didn’t like first the access to this place is not a nice road is a very tight road were if a car is going up the car going down must stop or back up. Scary in a way and in darkness is even more scary cause the road is made only for one vehicle going up or down. Secondly the wifi when I stayed I don’t know if it was a faulty wifi modem but at midnight no wifi connection in any area of the place.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Las instalaciones son simplemente espectaculares. El lugar tiene una vista maravillosa que te transmite una paz increíble, perfecta para desconectarse y disfrutar del entorno. La atención es 100/10; todo el staff está siempre dispuesto a ayudarte y hacer que tu estadía sea perfecta. El restaurante es buenísimo y los cócteles son aún mejores, definitivamente un plus que hace la experiencia completa. Sin duda, un lugar para volver.
Como punto a considerar, el hotel no cuenta con aire acondicionado, pero en nuestro caso dejamos abierta la ventana de atrás y fue más que suficiente, ya que la temperatura es bastante agradable.

There were water leaks under the sink that puddled the floor. My parents stayed in the Presidential Suite and had a major water leak from the roof every single night it rained, to the point that the ceiling was caving in and water reached their bed. Alot of the functions in the room didn’t work, lighting was horrible and the mirror lights did not work. There was also a power outage that caused people to be stuck on their floors, with the only emergency exit accessible through my parent’s room, so there were strangers being allowed to walk through the room while my parents were away. They also refused to turn on the generator because they “had to wait 40 minutes to see if the power came back on its own”. The hotel did not offer any compensation for the leak in the rooms, which occurred every night during the 5 night stay, until the end when they only offered 10% off the consumptions at the hotel plus taking away the gratuity that was supposed to go to their hard working staff.

The place doesn’t really have the facilities or environment to be called a resort. The music in the restaurant is extremely loud throughout the entire day, which makes it hard to relax or enjoy a quiet meal. The noise at night is also quite ridiculous — this is clearly not a place to rest or unwind. This is not just my impression: noise seems to be a common complaint raised by many visitors, and although management appears to be aware and willing to fix it, it still impacts the overall experience significantly. La comida ea regular, los Sevicios extras son muy regulares y costosos para lo que son. No hay restaurantes después de las 8:30’ y tampoco es de fácil acceso al pueblo así que mal por ahí.

El día martes en la zona de la playa y jacuzzyss de la planta baja se encontraban extremadamente sucios, se veía que hacía mucho tiempo no le hacían aseo y la zona en general estaba descuidada

El 21/08 fue el cumpleaños de mi esposa y contraté el servicio de declaración en la habitación (quedó muy bonito), pero me hubiera gustado un pequeño presente de parte del hotel. (Algo así como un pedazo de torta y que le canten por su cumpleaños)

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025Todo estuvo maravilloso, el sitio tiene una ubicación excepcional, por las vistas al paisaje y al embalse de Guatapé, el clima estuvo super. La atención fue excepcional, nos consintieron mucho. Es ideal para descansar, compartir en pareja o en familia y estar en armonía con uno mismo y con el planeta. La comida excelente, aunque podrían incluir más opciones light en el menú.
En realidad todo me gustó. Pero podrían tener opciones para el transporte hacia y desde el Hotel, ya que siempre son como 20 o 30 minutos desde el Peñol y la carretera tiene partes destapadas y regulares. El menú se podría variar más, para una instancia más larga, así no tocaría repetir platos. En las noches también podrían tener la opción de shows en vivo u otras actividades, un gimnasio básico, sería super ya que se permanece todo el tiempo en el Hotel.

Todavía hay partes en construcción y el último tramo de la carretera es pura trocha. No recomendado para quienes tengan un carro bajo En el jacuzzi de la parte inferior había una pareja drogándose. Deberían controlar este tipo de actividades
