Good place

I liked staying in this place

I hate giving bad reviews but it was simply not a good stay. We arrived and our door lock wouldn’t work. They gave us a new room which was bigger and they noticed because not even 5 minutes in the new room they changed us to another room. That totally ruined our first moments inside the hotel. Then they told us we needed to change rooms the next day before 11am. The next day the original room still did not open and we had to wait for an employee, we basically lost the morning. Water wasn’t really getting hot, they wanted to charge $10 each time we change our towels, and the room was never cleaned. We stayed for 7days and it was not a good stay. Noises really early in the morning and at random times at night, also the lock kept having problems through out the whole stay. It really isn’t a hotel mostly like an apartment or airbnb feel. The only good thing about it is the bed and location if you want to be near the clubs.

Sitting area is just an uncomfortable chair. Water pressure is low. Hot water isnt very hot. They held firm on 3pm check in BUT then asked for information regarding an early departure. Its a bed and a kitchenette. If that works for you, its great. But there is almost no additional space.

*Check-in Issues* The check-in process was problematic. The receptionist did not receive the necessary authorization email, causing delays. When the authorization arrived, the key code failed, and I had to contact the owner for assistance. *Property Issues* During my stay, I experienced issues with: - No hot water, which was not resolved - The flat was cold - Restrictions on guest access, which was inconvenient *Recommendations* Given these issues, I would caution potential renters to carefully consider this property. Clear communication and functional amenities are essential for travelers. I contacted the property owner about mold and hot water issues. Unfortunately, the mold problem seemed to be superficially treated with paint, and the hot water issue persisted without resolution.

Modern and safe building

The apartment was equipped with everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable. Having a coworking space, gym and laundry in the building was a huge plus for me. It's a bit noisy from the lift, hallway and people speaking in the street. Unfortunately when I arrived, the door code I had been sent was incorrect. As I arrived alone at 4am I wasn't too impressed! The building security guards were very helpful and helped me to contact the right person to get a new code sent. In future, the check-in process could be improved.

The area outside the property was a little run-down. The property and the apartment was super clean and great.

The flat was well located. Something that really bummed me out was the water pressure, having to shower almost near the wall is horrible

The check-in process was very bad and very time consuming. Also the emailed ACCESS code to the room was incorrect and I had to send a WHATSAPP communication to get the correct code. Should not be that tedious or difficult or time consuming to check in.

Great place!

Great deal. I white the nice property. It was a bit hard to find and the check in process is a bit long but it's a great place to stay

On the surface this place looks great, but there are many drawbacks - they first is there was no hot water. The shower oscillated from tepid (at best) to cold. A maintenance man was sent after I commented on this - I watched him fiddle with a lever but nothing changed. The kitchen water was completely cold. I was there for 10 days and they had the cheek to try and charge 10USD to give me clean towels. Finally, there is no way to regulate temperature. Some days were cold. As it is a large open studio, it was freezing. Then, on the hot days, you had to have the balcony door open, which you don’t want due to the noise. If management fixed the water, linen and had a dual aircon, then I would definitely have recommend this place (and it would be price equivalent to similar places). Until they do, sadly, I’d suggest reconsidering. The only reason I didn’t just leave was because it was prepaid and I my holiday funds didn’t budget for a hotel change.

You could hear outside noise. The area around by is rather good. I liked that the owner always was aware about us.

Great location in the southern part of the Chapinero sector of Bogotá. The apartment building has a rooftop terrace with a terrific panoramic view of (at least some of) the city; a laundry room; a game room, if one wants to use these things. I did some solitary reading on the terrace, as it had some comfortable seating options as well as nice bright daylight (even when it was cloudy, which is seventy percent of the time in Bogotá). My studio apartment was clean and comfortable; it was on the highest residential floor and provided a nice view from my window/balcony of a piece of the urban landscape and some of Cordillera Oriental. The kitchen had all the utensils, dishes, and pots that I needed for making and eating my meals. (You will need to buy/have your own dish soap to wash them.) The microwave oven and the stove worked well without any problems. I LOVED having hot water for my showers, a nice comfort considering that Bogotá can be quite chilly. My bed was wide and comfortable. *My ONLY small gripe was that I was unable to get any reception on the television set, and I did not know whom to ask for assistance with this. The remote control was impossible to figure out, at least for me. This was no tragedy, as I do not watch a lot of TV; but sometimes I do like to have it on as background sound or just to see the latest news or sports headlines.

The building has a nice, albeit not quiet, location, just about a block and a half off Carrera Séptima and approximately two blocks east of Carretera Trece, both main commercial streets. There are twenty-four-hour security guards working at the entrance, and they buzz guests and residents in and out of the front door, so the building is totally safe. There is a mini supermarket almost right next door to the buildings front entrance, where I bought all my food to cook or prepare in my apartment. A bakery making and selling some nicely baked breads and rolls was just a few doors away from this market. (One also may choose other, bigger supermarket options in fairly close proximity, a few or several blocks away.) The Bancolombia bank branch directly across the street has an ATM, but unfortunately this branch nor any of the nearby banks offers currency exchange, so plan strategically. (There is a currency exchange business a few blocks north of the building, west of Parque de los Hippies, inside a mall, so you will not be completely without the possibility of exchanging money if the need arises.) I do not do night life, so another reviewer can speak about that scene. I will say that from casual observation while walking around the general area of southern Chapinero, there seemed as if there were a plentitude of options for nocturnal social activity. Overall, I was greatly pleased with my choice of Wynwood House in Chapinero. I liked the centralized location of the building. My studio apartment was clean, well- illuminated, and comfortable; it had good working plumbing, a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious shower with hot water, and a nice, wide, comfortable bed. Thank you for being part of my enjoyable time in Bogotá. I only lament that my time there was so brief.

It was noisy, very poor water pressure and little hot water for the shower the sheets in my room had stains on them. For a week I had to sleep on dirty sheets, the WiFi was terrible and the neighborhood wasn’t safe

Nice view on the property, walking distance to all shops and ATM in chapinero. best location for you to stay.

Customer service is very deficient, not helpful and not friendly. When we called asking for help to solve noise, the response was terrible, they never helped

It was a pleasant experience. It was very dark upon check in. More lighting would be nice.

Great value, excellent location

The property was good and well located. However, there were some issues with the lock so it took a while before I could get in. Also, there was no internet and had to wait a couple of hours before it was fixed. In addition it appears to be a leak behind the toilet. Thanks.

Great location. Very close to Theatron. I don’t like the fact that there two towels. For long stay costumers there should be more towels provided.. Also, no where to dump the trash. The hot water does not have any pressure.

We needed assistance on the hot water to shower after two conversations the maintenance man came it was better but still had hot the cold water, never was repaired and the door lock you always had to put the code in twice to open or lock but the room was clean and very nice

A very convenient location.

The property is accessible to bus, local attractions and surrounded by several nice restaurants.
