The location was perfect ! Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The hosts were hospitable and welcoming.

The balcony, free wine and bottled water, the staff, the food served at breakfast including fresh croissants and mini chocolate croissants. 3 photos from balcony and one is the view from the sister hotel around the corner where breakfast is served. This is a virtual hotel so no reception on site.

The elevator was not on the ground floor so everyone has to carry luggage about 1.5 flights.

Great location. Very clean

No elevator at bottom level. Had to carry heavy luggage up stairs. Didn’t realize breakfast was in a sister hotel so didn’t get to take advantage of that. Also didn’t realize no front desk staff on property at all.

If you don’t like lugging luggage up two flights of stairs, choose another hotel. Elevator started two flights up. The stairway could use a handrail. Breakfast was offsite, but close by.

C'è un piano di scale da fare a piedi per raggiungere l'ascensore. Manca un supporto dove appoggiare le valigie per aprirle.

Perfect location. Very comfortable accommodations. Perfectly hidden gem.

One thing to mention is that there is no elevator from the main entrance therefore you must carry your luggage up some stairs before accessing the elevator. This was difficult for someone with limited mobility.

Posizione centralissima a due passi da piazza Monastiraki e 15 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso dell'acropoli. Sala colazione nella struttura principale ad 1 minuto a piedi, con vista privilegiata sull'acropoli.

L'ascensore parte dal piano ammezzato e le scale per raggiungerlo sono senza ringhiera o protezioni.

Very good location, at the centre of the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The windows are not soundproofed. We could hear a lot of noise from the outside, since it’s a rather noisy part of the city.

I would not have stayed here had I known that I would have to carry my luggage up 2 flights of stairs that had no railings before getting on an elevator .

The location was absolutely perfect. The rooms were clean and very updated.

I enjoyed my one night stay. The room was clean and equipped with necessary stuff. The location is great. It is very close to Monastiraki metro station, Acropolis and there are a lot of shops, cafes and a few markets nearby. The lady at the hotel reception is very helpful, pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend the accomodation.

Just the lift not going from the ground floor caused a bit problem with heavy luggage. One should carry the baggage one floor up the stairs and then use a lift.

Beautiful rooms, Great air-conditioning, wine and coffee in the room. Location is superb.

Ottima posizione in pieno centro. Molto pulito. Abbastanza silenzioso. Cialde di caffè e bottiglia di vino da sorseggiare sul terrazzino con tavolino e due sedie. Qualche biscotto sarebbe stato apprezzato! Ottimi i prodotti del bagno..

Mancava qualcosa di commestibile da associare a vino /caffè.

I received an email to explain that the apartment was digitally serviced and to give me a door code and room code for access. This worked brilliantly and was infinitely quicker than a hotel check in desk. I didn't know Athens at all but was delighted with the location - right on the main shopping street, down a tiny alleyway opposite the OGGI shop and through a security door, with a small balcony overlooking the street so you could people-watch to your heart's content. Very close to Monastiraki metro. Loved the fact that the air con was on when we arrived, loved the bottle of wine in the room even though didn't have time to drink it with all the amazing food opportunities in Athens. A freezing cold water bottle in the fridge was also a lifesaver on arrival. The bed was comfy, my teens were happy with the room, the bathroom and the sofa bed provided. Toiletries smelled lovely, towels were fresh, lighting was modern and bedside lights especially nice.

Only thing I would say was that the safe wasn't properly installed, and the door was hanging off - so I carried our passports everywhere with us but this was the third place we stayed where this was the case so I think it's just not thought of as a big deal in Greece.

Was very clean

The hotel was extremely difficult to find because it doesn’t have a sign of hotel. The address is not clear. The hotel doesn’t have an entrance or lobby. Only a door that you would not think that’s the entrance. In addition to it, is an old door in a horrible dirty street. For the price I paid is not worth.

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, σε κοντινή απόσταση από το σταθμό του μετρό στο Μοναστηράκι. Εκτιμάται η ευγένεια του προσωπικού που απάντησε στις τηλεφωνικές κλήσεις, όπως και η δυνατότητα φύλαξης αποσκευών πριν από το check in.

Αποπνικτική ατμόσφαιρα και άσχημη μυρωδιά στους διαδρόμους του κτηρίου. Υπήρχαν χνουδια (ακόμη κι αν ήταν ελάχιστα) στα σεντόνια, πιθανότατα από την κουρτίνα, της οποίας το ύφασμα ήταν βελούδο. Επιπλέον, το ασανσέρ σταματούσε στο μεσοπατωμα, πράγμα όχι τραγικό μεν, δύσκολο για άτομα με κινητικές δυσκολίες και με πολλές και βαριές αποσκευές.

The complimentary bottle of water and wine.

This hotel clearly advertises that it has a 24-hour front desk -- which it does not. This is false advertising. The property is down a side alley -- not well lit or secure -- and you have to put in a code to open the front door. There are 2 code boxes and neither one is marked for the hotel. A strange man sitting across the alley came over and put the code in -- hhmmm..... Also, there are fully 28 steps up a not well lit stairwell with no handrails before you can get to the small elevator. I did not at all feel safe. As a solo traveler, I always stay in hotels that have someone at the front desk 24 hours for security. This is false advertising. You have to find the other hotel down the street and around the corner where there is actually someone there. Otherwise, this hotel sends you codes to get into the property and into your room --- AFTER you have paid in full. There is no one onsite (unless you count the strange man who knows the code!!). The room is not "soundproof" as you can clearly hear others in the hallways. I have spoken with the hotel about this and with the desk at the Athens Tower --- they are not at all interested in giving me any compensation and kept all of my prepayment, even though I only stayed for one night. Poor service, false advertising.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Monastiraki metro station and a short walk to Ermou street. The room was comfortable, a bit small but had all that we needed!

While our check-in was pretty easy, with the owners sending all relevant info on the access codes beforehand when returning to the room at midnight the access code was not working. However, the issue was quickly resolved with a quick phone call. In the bathroom area, we did find a used razor and an opened shower gel tub which made us wonder if the shower was cleaned properly.

Very clean and spacious. Nice bathroom and comfortable big bed. Fantastic location!

The location was great, right in the heart of Athens. You access it from an alley which was nice to be off the main street and it was located near some great restaurants. The room was quiet, clean and we were greeted with complimentary wine.

The rooms were up a few floors and there wasn't an elevator we could use from the ground floor so we had to walk up a few flights before catching an elevator the rest of the way. It was a bit cumbersome with a lot of luggage. We didn't really interact with the staff with the exception of a couple phone calls but they were friendly and helped us secure a car to get to the airport.

The woman (at Athens Tower) who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We dropped off our luggage in the morning as we just came from a cruise. When we returned to check into our rooms at Downtown Suites, she had our luggage already moved! She was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and quiet. It was very nice to have English TV channels. The amenities in the room were much more lush than I expected.

Our only negative was I requested a van to pick us up early in morning for the airport. I was told that we needed to be picked up at Athens Tower and if we needed help bringing our luggage over to call the front desk. (My original request was for 4:00 am pick up but when we arrived at hotel we changed it to 5:00 am). At 4:45 am we called the front desk and no one answered. We managed to get our luggage over to the Tower and the front desk was locked with a note saying "be right back" and had a phone number. We called that number and a gentleman answered sounding like we woke him up. We began to ask a question and he hung up on us. We tried calling back and he did not answer. The next time we called, he had his phone off. At 5:15 our van WAS STILL NOT HERE AND NO HELP FROM THE FRONT DESK. We finally had to stop 2 taxis to get to the airport. As we were getting into taxis, your man ran out to us yelling that we needed to sign out and return the keys (we had no keys for the Downtown Suites). We were very stressed at this point and had to pay our drivers more to speed and get us to airport before we missed our flight. The main reason I booked this hotel was we had 24/7 concierge service. This was unacceptable.

Ένα στοιχείο που εκτιμήσαμε ιδιαίτερα ήταν η προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια. Το δωμάτιο διέθετε μηχανή espresso με κάψουλες καφέ, οι οποίες ανανεώνονταν καθημερινά. Επίσης, μαζί με τον καθημερινό καθαρισμό του δωματίου, ανανεωνόταν και το εμφιαλωμένο νερό στο ψυγείο. Αυτές οι μικρές αλλά σημαντικές παροχές έκαναν τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο άνετη και ευχάριστη.

The hotel is located in a separate building from the main hotel, where guests must go for breakfast. Accessing the property was initially difficult due to its location and the way the entrance is set up. In addition, the staff did not provide the instructions and access code before our arrival; we only received it after I called to ask. This information should have been communicated in advance. Another inconvenience is that guests must climb a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. If you are traveling with luggage or have mobility concerns, this can be particularly challenging. Overall, because of these accessibility and communication issues, I would not recommend this hotel for travelers with luggage or anyone seeking a more comfortable experience.

Die Zentrale Lage war super alles Fußläufig zu erreichen.

Das Fenster konnte man nicht auf Kippe öffnen. Vielleicht war es ein Fehler von uns das wir nicht darauf geachtet haben das keinen Balkon gab und was auch nicht gut war das der Aufzug erst auf der nächsten Etage ist.

הכל חדש ונקי מאוד. הבניין מסודר ומאורגן ,ואפילו מעוצב נחמד, מיקום בדיוק באמצע של הכל - מאוד תוסס מסביב וקרוב למטרו, לטוב ולרע. מרפסת עישון חמודה מאוד לרחוב (בחזית) ושמחתי על מכונת הקפה. המיטות היו נוחות והמצעים נקי

לא הצלחנו לישון בכלל (לפחות עד לפנות בוקר) בגלל רעש נוראי שעלה מהרחוב. כולל הילדים... לא אהבתי גם שיש לא מעט מדרגות (15) בכניסה לבניין והיה קשה עם המזוודות.

Location was great. Staff from main hotel reception (1 minute away) was super friendly and very helpful. Very fast response during communication via the app. Breakfast was very good

No lift access from ground floor only from 1st floor up. Ok for use during the stay but a bit of a hassle with luggage during check in and check out.

Great location. Very clean and cute room. Staff was so nice and accommodating. May 11 day staff (male staff) assisted with moving our excessive amounts of luggage from check in location to the property.

Elevator starts after 14 steps. If mobility issues or heavy luggage it is not ideal. The 24hr reception is not at location. You have to go to “sister” site. Did not know where the location was to drop Our luggage prior to check in.

Great central location, with lots of restaurants and shopping, it was also very near metro station. I guess some rooms can hear some noise from the street, but mine was quiet. Also the bed was very good.

Very high sound from the fan in bathroom and shower had no shelves. Breakfast buffet was served in another building around 100m from room.

Świetna lokalizacja, dobre śniadanie ze wspaniałym widokiem, tylko brak recepcji na miejscu lecz w sąsiednim hotelu.

Zanim wymeldowałam się to zmienili mi kod do pokoju z moimi rzeczami w środku. Na szczęście panie sprzątaczki pomogły.
