Riad Beni Sidel

Very friendly staff Ahmed and Siad were helpful. The roof terrace is lovely with a beautiful view of the Koutabia minaret. The plunge pool was very nicely decorated and the furniture was comfortable. Our room was cosy, decorated well and very clean. A little compact but sufficient for a short stay. The location of the riad is near the royal palace and felt very safe in the alleys leading from the main road.

There was nothing we didn't like though the lack of storage space/floor space would impact us if we stayed longer than a few days.

La chambre vraiment très petite. Dommage de ne pas pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner sur le toit terrasse. Petite déception sur le petit déjeuner, très sucré et jus de fruits industriels... Des œufs auraient été le bienvenue 😉

Nothing, everything was perfect.

La proximité de tout et en même temps la tranquillité. Le personnel Ahmed et Said, gentils, serviable et à l’écoute. Toutes nos questions ont été répondues et nous avons été bien conseillé. Le petit déjeuner était wow!!! La piscine géniale dans cette chaleur. Et encore une fois l’accueil et le personnel au top! Bravo pour le charme de ce petit Riad!

Ahmed et Saïd nous ont super bien accueilli, ils ont été aux petits soins ! Le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon, merci à la cheffe ! 🧑‍🍳 Piscine sur le toit très agréable avec vue sur la Koutoubia 🕌 Très beau Riad !

De service was uitstekend. We kregen alle hulp en goede tips. Personeel kon ons met van alles helpen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. De badkamer is ruim en heeft een toilet, terwijl dat niet zo staat bij booking.com. De airco werkt goed. Het zwembad en het uitzicht op het dakterras waren ook heerlijk.

De taxi kan niet tot aan de voordeur, het laatste stukje loop je door kleine steegjes, in eerste instantie voelde ik me daar niet geheel veilig, dit bleek onterecht, het bleek een prima buurt.

Abbiamo trascorso due giorni al Riad Beni Sidel e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Un posto molto bello, curato e soprattutto pulitissimo. La differenza la fa il personale: Amed e tutto lo staff sono gentili, disponibili e professionali. Grazie per la splendida accoglienza. Consigliatissimo!

Muy acogedor y su piscina en el techo, un relax luego de llegar acalorado de recorrer la ciudad.

Que la habitación era un poco pequeña y sin espacio para colocar el equipaje.

Me gusto la tranquilidad del lugar, salir del bullicio para encontrar el silencio después de un día ajetreado. Es lo más!! La piscina superó todo !! Era muy gratificante volver de tanto calor para refrescarte . Y lo mejor Said!! Super atento

Das Pesonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die EInrichtung ist recht neu und funktional aber sehr geschmackvoll. Das Essen war gut, wenngleich das Frühstück eher auf der süßen Seite war. Ich empfehle auch Mittagessen und Abendessen vorzubestellen. Der Fußweg in die Medina und zu den Senhenswürdigkeiten ist kurz. Taxi findet sich nach 3-5 Minuten Fußweg. Mohamed Moustakil bietet Taxitouren.

Der Pool ist sehr klein. Gerade mal 2,5x3,5 meter und kaum 1,50 tief. Dann war das Wasser so warm, dass man sich nicht wirklich abkühlen konnte.

Our stay at Riad Beni Sidel was nothing short of wonderful. Compared to the high energy, noise, and hustle of the Marrakech Medina, stepping into this riad felt like entering a true little paradise. The location is absolutely perfect—it is tucked away in a very pleasant, quiet, and calm neighborhood surrounded by other beautiful riads. We particularly appreciated the safety of the area; there was a consistent and visible presence of local police officers patrolling the nearby streets, which provided great peace of mind and made us feel entirely secure at any time of the day or night. ​The riad itself is gorgeous, and our room was incredibly cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The housekeeping staff deserves a huge compliment, as the room was meticulously cleaned and tidied up every single day with the utmost care. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding hospitality. Said and the cleaning ladies were exceptionally kind, genuinely helpful, and always very easy to communicate with. Right after we arrived on our first evening, they welcomed us with a warm, traditional Moroccan mint tea, which was the most relaxing and thoughtful gesture after a long day of travel. ​The breakfast each morning was simply sublime! While it featured a generous and hearty traditional base of local breads and pastries every day, we loved that the kitchen always surprised us with a unique daily twist. One morning we were treated to delicious American-style pancakes, another day a slice of sweet, soft sponge cake, and on our final morning, they prepared perfectly cooked eggs. It was always fresh, delicious, and gave us the perfect start to our day. Lastly, the rooftop area is a massive highlight of this property. The plunge pool up there was absolute heaven—after walking around and exploring in the intense Marrakech heat, having a quiet, beautiful space to retreat to, swim, and cool down was a lifesaver.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, our stay was completely flawless.

El Riad estaba muy bien, cómodo, limpio, y sobre todo el personal muy amable y acogedor, en especial Said qué nos trató de maravilla. Tiene buena ubicación ( cerca del centro, pero sin el caos de la plaza y sus calles adyacentes).

Quizás un precio un poco elevado para los precios de Marruecos.

Todo fenomenal. El personal fue muy amable en especial Said, . El desayuno y la cena fueron fantásticos. Camas cómodas y habitación espaciosa. Buena ubicación. La piscina daba un respiro!!

El Riad Beni Sidel es perfecto para visitar Marrakech. Es un riad pequeño que ofrece todo lo que necesitas. La habitación es preciosa y auténtica, el desayuno está muy bueno, y la terraza con la piscina es perfecta para aislarte un poco del calor de Marrakech. La ubicación es muy buena y segura, se encuentra a las afueras de la medina por lo que ofrece mucha tranquilidad. Además, Ahmed y Saïd, están disponibles en todo momento para ayudar en cualquier cosa, y su amabilidad y hospitalidad ha sido excepcional. Muchísimas gracias por todo!

It's sort of in an isolated area a bit which made me a bit nervous at night but I was solo travelling. However, there's loads of riads in the area so it's safer than you think and the staff were really helpful.

Très bon accueil, personnel à l’écoute et à notre disposition pour toute demande. Établissement très propre. Avec des petits déjeuners copieux et typiques marocains! Nous reviendrons !

I ragazzi sono stati gentilissimi in tutto e per tutto, hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta. Nota di merito per Said che ha risolto subito un nostro problema nonostante fossero le 23:30 e il giorno dopo ci ha anche preparato la colazione da portare prima dell’orario prefissato, in quanto dovevamo partire presto per andare nel deserto.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Béni Sidel. The riad is very new, beautifully designed, and extremely elegant. Everything feels carefully maintained and the atmosphere is peaceful and refined. The staff was absolutely adorable and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great selection and a beautiful setting to start the day. A special mention goes to the rooftop: the swimming pool area is stunning, very elegant, and the perfect place to relax after exploring the Medina. Another great point is that you can enjoy massages and hammam treatments in the riad next door, and the experience was honestly very good and relaxing. The only small downside is that, in the ground floor room we stayed in, noise can sometimes be heard if other guests are loud. However, this really depends more on the behavior of certain guests rather than on the riad itself. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this riad to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Marrakech.

Great location - close enough to the centre to easily walk, far enough away for it to be quiet and calm

Bit noisy inside - guests arriving later on echoes and can be heard easily in the room and pool cleaning (I think) on the roof were loud in the morning if you sleep in the room below

Cool spot that feels safe and is easy to find, very friendly staff that speaks both French and English. We had to leave for a trip at 5 am and even at that time we got offered a breakfast!

Petit point à signaler pour les futurs voyageurs : aux abords de l’hôtel, certaines personnes insistent pour “surveiller” les voitures en échange d’argent pour le stationnement. Cela peut surprendre lorsqu’on ne connaît pas. À noter que cela ne dépend absolument pas de l’hôtel, qui reste irréprochable. Simplement un élément à connaître pour éviter toute confusion à l’arrivée.

La habitación no era muy grande, pero tenía todo lo necesario, y estaba todo muy limpio. La cama era grande y cómoda. El desayuno fue buenísimo y abundante. Además el Riad está muy bien decorado. Said y Ahmed se preocuparon en todo momento para que no nos faltara nada, ambos fueron muy amables.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti nel riad beni sidel e siamo stati molto bene. All’arrivo con il taxi siamo stati accolti nella strada principale da loro e ci hanno accompagnati nel riad facendoci vedere dove fosse tra i vicoli, qualche centinaio di metri lontano dalla via principale. The di benvenuto all’arrivo, ci hanno mostrato la piscina in comune all’ultimo piano. Al nostro ritorno nonostante fosse alle 3:30 di mattina ci hanno preparato una colazione a portar via, prenotato un taxi e accompagnati a questo. I ragazzi dello staff Ahmed and Saaid sono stati davvero gentili e accoglienti

La ubicación muy buena y no es difícil de llegar. El desayuno muy generoso, completo y riquísimo. la comodidad de la cama y almohadas muy bueno. Y sobre todo Said, que nos recibió y nos explicó todo desde el primer momento en que llegamos recibiéndonos con un té a la menta típico y dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo. Hablamos bastante con él y es muy simpático y cercano. Totalmente recomendable.

Said greeted us and provided us with tea and some tasty biscuits, even though we arrived late at night. He was so kind and helpful! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Breakfast was delicious as well!

The room was tiny and there was a lack of surfaces to put things on, both in the bedroom and bathroom. Some shelves or countertops would be helpful.

Location is great just a 10 minute walk to the medina and Jewish quarter. Achmed and Said were both very helpful throughout the stay. Achmed even had to be resourceful and enterprising to help us pack our suitcases with our shopping. Beautiful riad, would fully recommend.

The managers and support staff were excellent and very helpful. Approaching from the alleyway the Riad's position looks very foreboding but once inside what a transformation. It is beautiful, light and airy, and furnished with authentic Arabic design. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and a clean en-suite. Highly recommend.

Me gustó todo contratemos que nos recogieron en el aeropuerto todo perfecto, los chicos que trabajan Said y Abdul muy buenas personas, teníamos excursiones muy temprano y nos preparaban el desayuno muy buen desayuno y mucha cantidad estilo marroquí,y nos acompañaban para comprar la tarjeta de Internet, la comida buenísima preparada por Fátima , sin duda si fuera más a Marrakech me alojaría en este real 👍❤️🥰

First of all, a very welcoming staff (Ahmed and Said), who took good care of us and they were always available to answer any questions. A great breakfast prepared with care The room was nice and clean in Moroccan style. The area of the hotel is safe, within a walking distance from Medina.

Pleasant staff. Cozy and modern rooms. Breakfast was typically moroccan ( break, pancakes, jams, coffee, yoghurt, fresh orange juice🍊). Tucked away from Medina, 10mins walk to the main square. For more info can ask @sandragolub7 😊

Prima plek, alle bezienswaardigheden in de Medina op loopafstand. Geweldige gastheren Achmed en Said, die je graag adviseren over wat leuk is om te doen en indien nodig uitstapjes voor je regelen. Het verblijf in deze Riad was heel fijn, met elke dag een heerlijk en uitgebreid Marokkaans ontbijt.

I ragazzi della reception sono stati eccezionali, ci hanno permesso di rimanere in piscina per tutto il pomeriggio sopo il check out in quanto avevamo l’aereo la sera, il riad è pulitissimo e arredato benissimo, colazione molto buona

Riad tipico con camere affacciate sulla corte interna dove era servita la colazione ed, a richiesta, anche la cena (ottima ma appena un po' più cara della media). Personale gentile, simpatico e sempre a disposizione per ogni esigenza. Letto comodissimo. Bagno grande e molto pulito. Riad silenzioso ed a 10-15 minuti di camminata dal centro. Siamo stati benissimo!

Il bagno aveva un leggero odore di umido, ma assolutamente ininfluente sulla valutazione complessiva.

Wir wurden hervorragend von Ahmed und Said versorgt. Sie haben sich darum gekümmert, dass unser Auto gut geparkt ist und uns auch unseren Wunsch, auf der Dachterasse frühstücken zu können möglich gemacht. Unser Zimmer und auch das ganze Hotel war wirklich liebevoll ausgestattet und wir haben die Ruhe das Innenhofs sehr genossen.

Purtroppo, durante il nostro soggiorno ci hanno cambiato stanza due volte. Ci siamo dovuti ricavare del tempo per muoverci ed é stato un po’ fastidioso ma nulla di che. Le camere sono un po’ piccole ma ci si sta bene.

Ottima accoglienza dei gestori Said e Ahemd. Giovani ragazzi pronti ad accoglierti con una tazza di the e ad essere a disposizione per qualsiasi esigenza, anche quando eravamo in giro per la città. Ampia camera matrimoniale con pulizia quotidiana. Struttura molto pulita. Buona anche la colazione, non molto varia, ma con prodotti tipici cucinati al momento dalle cuoche, anche loro molto gentili e attente. Consiglio!

Purtroppo il bagno rimane molto umido, forse perchè la stanza è al piano terra ed il bagno non ha finestre. Dovevamo appendere le asciugamani in camera, se le lasciavamo in bagno le trovavamo bagnate. Dopo aver utilizzato il bagno rimaneva un forte odore di umidità. Per il resto tutto bene!
