Absolutely everything! This is genuinely the best place I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, peaceful and incredibly well maintained. The host was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. He was so attentive, welcoming and thoughtful, and made sure every single one of our needs was taken care of. His hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable.

We had such a wonderful stay at this riad in Marrakech, and it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with so much warmth, care and genuine hospitality, which made our entire experience even more special. A special mention has to go to Hassan, our host, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. He welcomed us with such kindness and a big smile, and every time we saw him, he greeted us with the same warmth and friendliness. He genuinely made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His hospitality really stood out and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and we really appreciated that it was cleaned every day. One of the biggest highlights for us was having air conditioning, especially with how hot the weather was in Marrakech. Coming back to a cool, comfortable room after being out in the heat all day was honestly a lifesaver! The riad itself was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The indoor pool was also a great addition and was perfect for relaxing and cooling down after exploring Marrakech. Breakfast was good too, and it was lovely having breakfast at the riad before heading out for the day. Hassan was also incredibly helpful beyond just welcoming us. He helped us arrange transportation, which made getting around much easier, and he gave us really useful advice about navigating the souks, particularly regarding scams and things to be aware of. His local tips were genuinely helpful and made us feel much more confident while exploring Marrakech. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech. The cleanliness, comfortable room, air conditioning, pool and breakfast were all great, but what really made our stay memorable was the exceptional hospitality.

Tout a été vraiment bien!

De faciliteiten van de accommodatie waren uitstekend. Iedere ochtend stond er een heerlijk en goed verzorgd ontbijt klaar, verzorgd door de gastvrije gastheer Hassan. Ook wanneer we een vroege trip gepland hadden en eerder wilden ontbijten, was dat geen enkel probleem. De kamer was erg schoon en netjes bij aankomst. Ook tussendoor was er een uitstekende schoonmaakservice, waardoor de kamer steeds fris en verzorgd bleef. Daarnaast konden we altijd met onze vragen bij Hassan terecht. Hij was ontzettend behulpzaam en zorgde voor een zeer fijne service. We hebben ons hier erg welkom gevoeld en zouden deze accommodatie zeker aan anderen aanbevelen!

Eigenlijk was er niets wat ons tegenviel. Als we toch een klein verbeterpunt mogen noemen, dan hadden we het fijn gevonden als er iets meer afwisseling en/of keuze in het ontbijt was geweest.

De locatie was perfect! 3 minuutjes van de Souks, 10 minuten wandelen naar Jamaa El Fna. Super mooie Riad! De gastheren en de dames die de kamers poetsen/ ontbijt maken zijn super vriendelijk! Niks is te veel gevraagd.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au Riad Darchica. L'hôte a toujours été aux petits soins avec nous, avant même notre arrivée nous avions échangé par mail, et sur place, il a toujours été arrangeant avec nous. Aussi, le Riad peut organiser des excursions à la journée, et c'est très appréciable. Le fait d'être en petit comité dans le Riad rajoute le côté convivial et apaisant du séjour. A votre arrivée vous êtes accueillis avec le thé marocain. La chambre était spacieuse, nous sommes au calme et le Riad est très beau avec la piscine au coeur. C'était parfait !

Ligging, hygiëne , vriendelijkheid personeel. Hassan was niets te veel. Stond zelfs eerder op om ons ontbijt te maken toen we vroeg weg moesten voor een excursie.

Das riad liegg sehr zentral in Marrakesch und ermöglicht einem allea zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Innenhof sowie die Dachterasse sind sehr sauber und lieb eingerichtet. Zimmer sind sauber und sehr schön

Parkplatz ist leider nicht direkt vor dem riad möglich da es direkt in der Altstadt liegt. Gastgeber schlug uns aber einen öffentlichen sehr naheliegenden Parkplatz vor. Ansonsten alles top.

La piscine qui n’est pas chauffée, contrairement à ce qu’il y a noté dans la description, et l’eau était vraiment très froide. Nous n’avons pas pu nous baigner alors qu’il faisait très chaud.

Riad lindo, decoração suave, cama e quarto super confortáveis, silencioso, pessoal super atencioso, especialmente Ahmad, e até uma gatinha fofinha e querida. Recomendamos demais.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce riad. Il est parfaitement conforme aux photos : très beau, décoré avec goût, avec des chambres spacieuses. L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Marrakech et, surtout, le riad est incroyablement calme malgré toute l’agitation de la médina dès qu’on sort. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence pour nous, c’est l’équipe. Un grand merci à Hassan, Ahmed, Hiba et Nouhaila pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil. On s’est vraiment sentis chez nous, entourés de personnes chaleureuses et gentilles. Pouvoir échanger avec eux au quotidien et partager un peu de leur vie locale fait aussi partie de ce qui rend l’expérience d’un riad si spéciale. Les petits-déjeuners sont copieux, délicieux et différents chaque jour. On repart avec de très beaux souvenirs de Marrakech, et une grande partie est grâce à eux. On reviendrait sans hésiter !

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w obrębie Mediny. Około 15 minut spacerem przez Medinę na plac Jemaa el- Fna. Okolica spokojna; do riadu można trafić bez problemu przy użyciu Google Maps. Było bardzo czysto. W czasie wyjścia na miasto pokój został wysprzątany, nawet odzież pozostawiona na łóżku została schludnie poskładana w kostkę, a klimatyzacja włączona na nasz powrót. Klimatyzacja działa bez zarzutu. W środku nieduży basen, można z niego skorzystać po upalnym dniu. Prowadzący riad Hassan bardzo miły i uprzejmy, doradził nam w wielu sprawach jak poruszać się po Marrakeshu. Polecamy.

Beautiful Riad in the heart of the medina. Easy to reach by taxi and the souks, many great restaurants, cafes and bars are in walking distance. Safe, vibrant area even at night. The host Hassan is the most friendly and welcoming host you could imagine. Riad Darchica will be our first choice for our next trip to Marrakech.

Couldn’t have stayed in a better Riad! The location was perfect, walking distance to many sites. The Riad was just like the pictures and was very clean and tidy. What made our stay extra special was all the staff. Hassan went above and beyond for us. He gave lots of great recommendations, and in general had great chats. I would recommend this Riad for solo female travels due to Hassans commitment to making sure all guests are safe.

Tudo feito com muito amor! O quarto era excelente (cama, chuveiro, espaço). Café da manhã bem gostoso e feito na hora. Localização longe da loucura da praça principal, logo era bem silencioso. Hassan foi muito atencioso! Incrível!

Para os que querem ir até a praça para jantar, é uma caminhada de 15 a 20 minutos ou 50 MAD de Uber. Se isso não for um problema, o RIAD é perfeito!!

We had an amazing 5-night stay at Riad Darchica and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. The standout was Hassan. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great stay. He gave us excellent recommendations, checked in on us regularly, and made sure we were safe whenever we had very early morning activities or were coming back late at night. He was always available if we needed anything. It really felt like we had a family whilst in Marrakech. My wife asked if a birthday surprise for me could be organised at very short notice, and Hassan made it happen and really went above and beyond. We were so grateful, and it honestly made our trip even more special. The riad itself is beautiful. It is smaller than some of the larger riads in Marrakech, but that was actually a big plus for us. It was peaceful, quiet and never felt crowded. The pool is a great size for relaxing after a day out exploring. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a good variety and plenty to eat. The ladies on staff were also so lovely and welcoming. And a special shout-out to Kiri, the resident cat, who was just gorgeous and super friendly. This was genuinely a 10/10 stay. We would highly recommend Riad Darchica and will definitely be back next time we are in Marrakech.

Dit was inmiddels de tweede keer dat ik in deze riad verbleef, en opnieuw was het een zeer aangename ervaring. De riad heeft een uitstekende locatie: centraal gelegen, maar tegelijk heerlijk rustig. De kamers zijn mooi ingericht, comfortabel en zeer verzorgd. Elke ochtend genoot ik van een lekker ontbijt. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid van het personeel. Iedereen is vriendelijk, behulpzaam en doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ik kom met veel plezier nog eens terug en kan deze riad van harte aanbevelen!

Das Riad liegt so zentral und biete doch eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Personal war äusserst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Tag frisch auf der Dachterasse zubereitet und war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Der Pool bietet eine herrliche Erfrischung und alles war sehr sauber. Wir können dieses Riad nur weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

La chambre était agréable et confortable ainsi que la terrasse et la piscine pour profiter du beau temps tout en se rafraîchissant. Le Riad est très bien placé, il permet de tout rejoindre très rapidement et bénéficie de calme. Un grand merci à Hassan et son équipe pour ce séjour !

Nous venons de passer un merveilleux séjour de huit nuits au Riad Darchica, et nous en repartons avec l’envie d’y revenir. Tout était absolument parfait : la décoration soignée, le charme authentique du lieu, la beauté des espaces communs et le confort d'une chambre particulièrement spacieuse. Une véritable oasis de sérénité. Ce qui fait le supplément d’âme de ce Riad, c’est avant tout son équipe. Un immense merci à Hassan et le reste de l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme au quotidien. Hassan a toujours fait en sorte que nous manquions de rien. Il a pris le temps de nous conseiller et de nous permettre de faciliter certaines étapes du séjour. Merci à lui. Le Riad est vraiment parfaitement bien situé. Les ruelles autour sont très agréables et le Riad est très facile d’accès. (J’avais déjà connu une expérience plus chaotique dans un autre Riad au sein du labyrinthe de la médina). Donc très belle surprise pour la localisation! Le petit déjeuner était varié et complet. Avec chaque jour un jus différent et des sucreries différentes. J’ai hâte d’y revenir.

Une bouilloire dans la chambre serait vraiment souhaitable surtout pour un long séjour pour avoir la possibilité de se faire un thé

It was a wonderful visit. Riad situated in Medina, center of Marrakesh. All was comfortable, tasty breakfast, nice pool inside. Especially we would like to say thanks for Khasan, hotel administrator. All perfect tips, restaurants, museums were suggested by him. He spent unforgettable days in Africa!

He is amazing!! Everything about this place was amazing! The pool, breakfast, rooms. Our room was cleaned everyday which was perfect! Hassan made sure we found our way to and from the Riad, gave us some great recommendations and was honestly so lovely to chat to, he is an asset to this Riad. The location was absolutely perfect, so close to the souks and restaurants. We cannot wait to come back, one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed!! I am going to recommend this riad to everyone! Hassan ist ein toller Gastgeber. Super herzlich und super freundlich. Man fühlt sich direkt wie Zuhause. Zimmer sind sauber und modern eingerichtet. Zentrale Lage und somit ist alles Fußläufig erreichbar. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse und cooler Pool.

The location was perfect 2 min walk from the souks. The staff was so accommodating and responsive via what’s app to arrange us transportation for around $25 euro at 2am. Also guided us to the Riad so we were not lost. The pool was refreshing and clean. The owner gave great recommendations and even made us coffee and bread when we had to leave early and miss breakfast. The room itself was spacious and clean. Overall 10/10.

The only small thing would be the shower. Not great pressure and you had to hold the shower head. But was clean and it worked just fine.

De gastvrijheid van Hassan. Hij heeft ons heel welkom laten voelen, niks was te gek. Ook gaf Hassan ons een heel veilig gevoel. We mochten hem altijd appen en hij wilde altijd mee lopen tot dat je in een taxi zat. Wij waren als twee vrouwen op pad en hebben ons altijd en overal veilig gevoeld. Ook was de schoonmaak super lief en heeft helemaal onze kleding opgevouwen en stapeltje maakte, zo lief!! Verder is het een oase van rust waar je binnenkomt als je net buiten uit de hectiek komt.

Het enige minpuntje was dat er geen daadwerkelijke douche was maar een bad waar je je kon afspoelen. Misschien hadden we hier zelf ook beter op kunnen letten bij het boeken ;)

If you want to be fully immersed in the culture of Marrakesh, Riad Darchica is the perfect place to stay. Property Riad Darchica is absolutely gorgeous and looks exactly like the pictures. It is a small, charming riad with only six rooms, which creates an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The property was very clean, peaceful, and well maintained. Its smaller size allows guests to build genuine connections with both the staff and other visitors, making the experience feel personal and authentic. Staff The manager, Hasan, was amazing and truly made our stay unforgettable! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful with all of our vacation needs. He arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport, and upon our arrival, Hassan personally met us and guided us to the riad. On our first day, he also arranged a guided tour of the city, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The tour helped us learn the history of Marrakesh and gave us confidence navigating the city on our own. After that first day, we felt like pros! Every member of the staff was delightful and clearly passionate about what they do. I purchased a beautiful traditional door knocker, and the staff took the time to explain the rich history and cultural significance behind it, which made the piece even more meaningful to me. We absolutely loved our stay and truly did not want to leave. We highly recommend Riad Darchica to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Marrakesh.

Our whole stay was perfect. Hassan picked us up, helped us with our luggage and explained everything there was to know about the city of Marrakesh. The Riad was truly beautiful, the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was amazing. The whole staff was friendly and lovely during our stay. Unfortunately we had to change riads because there was no availability for the last two days. I miss it already!!

Υπέροχο riad, τοποθεσία, πρωινό, χώροι και καθαριότητα, όλα άψογα. Πάνω από όλα όμως βάζω το προσωπικό, το οποίο μας πρόσεξε από το πρώτο καλωσόρισμα μέχρι το τέλος. Ιδιαίτερα, ο Hassan ήταν εξαιρετικά βοηθητικός & πρόσχαρος σε όλα, οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε μας το παρείχε πριν καν το ζητήσουμε. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Hassan made us feel like at home from the very first moment! We enjoyed the rooftop terrace a lot and our rooms were nice and cosy. The food was super delicious and fresh! A perfect place for us to arrive in Marrakesh!

It's nothing negative, but as in any Riad we've visited, the rooms on the ground floor might be a bit dark, due to the characteristic of the building.

His advice made it much easier to explore the city and get the most out of our stay. A lovely place to stay in Marrakesh — we would definitely recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Riad Darchica. It's location is absolutely perfect - right beside the busy Medina but very peaceful. We were treated like royalty by Hassan who always made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. The room was very comfy and the air conditioning worked very well. Our beds were made every day and the breakfast was fantastic. I would love to stay here again in the future. It was an absolute dream! Thank you Hassan

The only extra I would add is maybe a mini- fridge to keep drinks cool, but I didn't expect to have one.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf in deze riad in Marrakech! Perfecte ligging: centraal, maar toch rustig. De kamer was sfeervol en ruim genoeg, met een geruisloze airco. Hassan is een geweldige gastheer: super behulpzaam met tips, dagtripjes en het regelen van taxi’s, waardoor we de stad zorgeloos konden ontdekken. Bij terugkomst bij de riad werden we steeds hartelijk ontvangen. Het ontbijt op het dakterras was elke ochtend een feestje en ook overdag konden we een lekker hapje eten. Ik raad deze plek aan!

L’emplacement est idéal dans la médina, proche de tous les lieux d’intérêt et au calme. Le Riad est en très bon état. La décoration contemporaine, le confort de la douche, les produits qui sentent bons, et le confort du lit. Petit déjeuner marocain très copieux. Équipe aimable et à la présence discrète. Jolie piscine intérieure.

Nous avons passé un super séjour au riad darchica qui est idéalement situé dans la ville. Les chambres étaient magnifiques et très propres. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, local et fait maison tous les matins et en quantité ! Tout le personnel a été au petit soin et toujours disponible pour nous renseigner ou nous arranger. Un grand merci à Yassine qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour passer le meilleur séjour à Marrakech et au gérant qui a été très accueillant également. Au plaisir de revenir :)

We literally liked everything starting from the initial meeting with our host till the last minute. The riad is exceptionally beautiful and located in a very convenient location in the medina though far from the outside noise and bustle. The breakfast was served in the traditional manner featuring excellent service and attention on our host’s side. He was literally the best, catering for every of our needs and trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The riad is pretty small — only five rooms, so it doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. It’s a truly nice place to enjoy a traditional holiday experience in Marrakesh!

Notre séjour au Riad Darchica a été tout simplement exceptionnel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été transportés par la beauté de l'architecture et le calme des lieux, un vrai contraste avec l'effervescence de la Médina ! La chambre était magnifique, très propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Mention spéciale pour le personnel et plus particulièrement Hassan qui a été aux petits soins du début à la fin, toujours avec le sourire et plein de bons conseils. Le petit-déjeuner, servi sur le toit-terrasse, était copieux et délicieux. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

The property was stunning and very clean. Roof terrace was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Hassan was incredible, went out his way to do everything he could to make your stay enjoyable. Very knowledgeable on the local area and has great recommendations, would definitely recommend

Ik heb als solo reiziger (vrouw) een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Samengevat: - De locatie is top. Net aan de rand van de medina dus geen last van de drukte. Je loopt gemakkelijk de medina in en alles relatief dichtbij (binnen 25 min lopen) - zeer vriendelijk personeel. Echt complimenten aan Hassan. Hassan is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Geeft eerlijke&goede tips en zorgt er echt voor dat je je thuis voelt. Er zijn misschien nog mooiere Riads, maar het (veilige) gevoel dat deze riad geeft is mij veel meer waard. Bij aankomst lekkere Marokkaanse thee en koekjes. Neem van te voren even contact op met Hassan/accommodatie zodat ze je kunnen ophalen en met je meelopen vanaf het kruispunt waar de taxi je afzet. Er staan op het kruispunt mensen die je proberen aan te spreken en zeggen dat ze met je mee willen lopen in ruil voor geld. Ook flexibel met in en uitchecken. Ik had een vroege heenvlucht maar kon alsnog al mijn kamer in. - eten: ik heb de eerste avond in de Riad gegeten. Het was 220 MAD voor een uitgebreid, goed en traditioneel dinner. Het ontbijt was ook lekker, traditioneel marrokaans en een omelet. Ook kon ik er nog lunchen op dag van uitchecken en vertrek voordat ik wegging. Zorg wel even dat je optijd aangeeft wanneer je wilt eten. De riad zelf is mooi ingericht en heeft goede voorzieningen. Wifi en airco werken goed. Lekker dakterras en zwembad beneden. Ook is er een hele lieve huiskat aanwezig. Ik heb elke avond nog thee gedronken en gepraat met Hassan en met andere reizigers. gemoedelijke sfeer. Ik zou zeker nog een keer terug gaan naar deze Riad als ik weer in Marrakech ben. Ik raad het van harte aan.

Het matras was wat aan de harde kant, maar dat is persoonlijk. Een topper zou fijn zijn. Tip voor reizigers: in het algemeen, ga niet in op de mensen die je aanspreken in marrakech, lach vriendelijk, loop door en laat niet zien dat je verdwaald of verward ben. Laat niet zien dat je bang bent. Gebruik gezond verstand. Neem oordopjes mee voor het gebed. Dat is niet ten nadele van de accommodatie, maar meer algemeen, want dit is overal in Marrakech.

Riad molto carino, piccolo ma accogliente. Hassan, il ragazzo alla reception, ci ha accolti sempre con il sorriso e grande disponibilità, in compagnia della micia, che è la star indiscussa della struttura. La posizione è centrale, si arriva a piedi ovunque. La camera spaziosa e dotata di tutti i confort.

De Riad is prachtig en onze kamer was heel comfortabel en schoon. Wij hadden het geluk dat we het ontbijt op het dakterras konden gebruiken, dubbel fijn want het ontbijt was ook heerlijk. Riad Darchia ligt net binnen de medina met alle hoogtepunten binnen loopafstand. Last but not least ook hier de vermelding dat Hassan, de manager, het verblijf helemaal top maakte. Hij haalde ons op van de plek waar de taxi ons afzette, nam met ons de bezienswaardigheden door, wees ons de weg daarnaartoe en zorgde dat we ons op ons gemak voelden.

Hassan did everything for us, he is a very good host. The location of this riad is perfect, rooms are new furnitured. We loved the stay here, thanks to Hassan and his hospitality.

L'accueil par Hassan est extraordinaire; très gentil et très serviable. La literie est confortable, le riad a beaucoup de charme. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des préparations faites maison. Je recommande cette adresse.

Estuvimos muy agusto en nuestra estancia, pero lo mejor, sin duda alguna, es la gestión de Hassan: su trato y cercanía, cosa que no ocurre en otros Riad, su capacidad de estar pendiente de todos los detalles, su trato humano y un largo etcétera. Se podría incluso pensar que es el propietario dado su nivel de dedicación e implicación.
