NICHT BUCHEN! Die Unterkunft ist nicht mal annähernd in der nähe des Strandes, sondern auf einem Hügel weit weg vom Stadtzentrum! Deswegen haben wir versucht mit dem Besitzer eine Einigung zu finden und unseren Aufenthalt zu verkürzen, er wurde sehr aggressiv, hat mich angeschrien und war keinerlei Kompromiss bereit. Wir haben uns dort nicht mehr sicher gefühlt und sind in eine andere Unterkunft gegangen. Wir haben keinen Cent zurückbekommen und er hat uns geghostet! NICHT BUCHEN

Nous n’avons pas compris qu’il n’y aurait pas de linge de lit à notre arrivée. L’emplacement du logement est un peu loin de Taghazout bay nous pensions tout faire à pied cela n’a pas était le cas malheureusement.

Notre séjour chez Brahim a été exceptionnel. L’endroit est très propre et l’accueil est chaleureux. Brahim est très gentil et aux petits soins. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas eu la chance de profiter de leurs activités, mais heureusement nous avons pu goûter à leur cuisine : c’était délicieux ! Kenza (si je me souviens bien de son nom) cuisine merveilleusement bien, c’était un vrai régal. L’endroit est très calme, il y a juste une petite contrainte de route, mais cela n’empêche absolument pas de profiter pleinement d’un séjour chez eux. Merci pour tout 😍😍😍

Jedlo výborné! Tešili sme sa každé ráno a každý večer, kedy budeme jesť. Všetko jedlo bolo delikátne. Nikdy sme nič nenechali a všetko sme zjedli. Na tradičnú marockú kuchyňu, ktorú sme tu ochutnali, budeme ešte dlho spomínať. Mňam! Ďakujeme Habib, si úžasná kuchárka. Vyhovovalo nám, že sme si mohli načasovať, kedy chceme jesť. Stačilo povedať hodinu vtedy nám to Habib navarila. Tichá lokalita, v okolí bol kľud a pokoj. Super terasa, svieži vzduch. Pohoda a chill. Hostiteľ sa zaujímal, pýtal sa, reagoval na naše otázky a pomohol.

Nedostatkov bolo zopár, ktoré však neboli závažné, aby sme boli nespokojní s ubytovaním. Chýbalo mydlo, uterák na ruky alebo aspoň obrúsky. Zišla by sa v izbe ešte skriňa alebo kôš. Také najvýraznejšie a nepríjemné boli vŕzgajúce kľučky a ťažko sa otravujúce dvere. V noci nás to budilo, keď niekto išiel na záchod, nie len z našej izby, ale aj okolitých a tým to znižovalo naše pohodlie. V neposlednom rade musím spomenúť hostiteľa. Bol vždy usmiaty, milý, ochotný a nápomocný, ale máme pocit, že práve peniaze živili jeho ochotu. Brahim je poriadny podnikateľ. Vypýtal si viac ako veci reálne stáli. Napr. za surfovanie nám vraj spravil "super cenu" 350dhs, lebo inak to stojí 400dhs. Až pri odchode domov sme si však všimli cenník, že cena 400dhs je len pre osobu l, ak je 1:1 s inštruktorom. Nás však bolo v skupine 5. Z toho dôvodu mala byť cena nižšia. Ak pôjdete sem, pozrite si teda na recepcii oficiálny cenník a riaďte sa ním. My sme to neurobili, tak sme to preplatili. Brahim nám ochotne vytlačil letenky. Čo sme radi. Mysleli sme, že má k dispozícii tlačiareň. Bohužiaľ nemal, sme radi, že bol ochotný nám ísť do print shopu letenky vytlačiť, ale za 2 strany si zaúčtoval 20dhs, čo je skutočne aj na európske ceny vysoká suma. Boli to najdrahšie 2 strany v mojom živote, ktoré som zaplatila.

Je me suis présentée au red carpet, le lieu ne correspondait pas au descriptions. Dans toute la maison, il n y avait personne à par le propriétaire. L hote m a proposé d annuler mon séjour..Apparemment il avait calculé de se faire payer sur une annulation ..Le lieu était lugubre..J ai demandé qu'il allume la lumière au niveau de la réception ..il a refusé en disant que l' électricité coûte cher. Puis il.a élevé sa voix sur moi..Je lui ai demandé de me parler normalement..il m a dit qu il était chez lui et qu' il pouvait parler comme il voulait. Il nous a réellement effrayé et nous avons quitté les lieux..jusqu'à présent je n ai pas été remboursé et je trouve malhonnête de prendre le prix de 4 nuitées (1800dhs) alors que l'hote lui même nous a proposé d' annuler.. Je pense que même si l annulation n est pas gratuite, dans ce genre de situation quand l hote manque de respect et est grossier, le client doit se faire rembourser Cet établissement est à fuir absolument..

The Hospitality of Brahim and the whole team was second to none! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The authentic home cooked meals were incredible, the home feel was brilliant, the community feel of every one staying together to eat in the morning and the evenings catching up on their adventures was brilliant! The surf lessons gave a 1-1 insight into techniques and water safety, sand boarding, was brilliant and Rashid went above and beyond always!! Nora and Muhammad were absolutely incredible and so wonderful to be around. Brahmin genuinely cares for each individual guest and goes above and beyond with everything he does. We stayed with our 2 daughters aged 11 & 14 and they enjoyed every second of it labelling it our BEST TRIP TO DATE!

Absolutely nothing! Yes the dogs bark in the evening but it adds to the authentic way of life in Morocco

This is a Gem of a hostel. It's off the beaten path, but it's worth it. I honestly wanted to stay longer, but the road called to me, and I was ready to move on to the next town. The owner of the establishment was very welcoming, warm-hearted, and considerate. The beds were rather comfortable and made all of wood, so they didn't shake or make annoying noises. The hostel/hotel was pretty big, but it had a great area to meet and socialize with people; I certainly met some great people there. They also have group activities! I would definitely recommend staying here, I know I will if ever I return to the area.

It's hard to say. I can't think of anything bad, really. I would recommend booking over the phone or some such to get the best rate. Booking apps take a commission that can upcharge prices for hostels and hotels.

Exceptional hospitality and service. Brahim and the team running the place couldn't have been more friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Contactable day and night, organising activities, and always going the extra mile to help us out with whatever we needed. Big delicious breakfast & evening meals available and a really friendly, sociable environment in the sitting area on the rooftop. We loved our stay, highly recommended.

If you want to gosurfmorocco you should go to Red Carpet Surf Camp! Red Carpet Surf Camp is a cosy hostel, not like the usually more cold hotels and Red Carpet Surf Camp is more true Morocco than where most come from. Red Carpet Surf Camp is nicely placed a bit off the more touristy beach area in quiet surroundings but still as a natural part of the beautiful, authentic town of Tamraght and also with some smaller shops close by. In my oppinion Red Carpet Surf Camp is a 4 star hostel. During the weeks I stayed there Brahim made several improvements and the plans for the next months will likely improve Red Carpet Surf Camp even closer to being a 5 star hostel. You’ll find clean rooms in a Moroccon style, 4 story, private building with more balconies. Generally the place is quiet, also when the building is full, but of course you’ll meet, hear and notice the presence of other guests. A hostel is to also an opportunity to get a bit of insight in the life of other people and at Red Carpet Surf Camp you can easily keep company with staff or other guests and for instance enjoy a homecooked Tagine or a cup of Moroccan Tea and the beautiful view at the roofterrasse. The staff, especially your host, Brahim are the most welcoming, helpful and friendly people doing what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Brahim, who speaks brillinantly English will happily tell you all about his country, customs, food, surfspots and places to go and he has truly taken the custom of his people of being kind to others to heart. Deeply. My plans for next autumn are finalizing and I will definitely be back.

My experience at this surf camp was absolutely unforgettable! The location is so great, close to some of the best surf spots in the area, with convenient access to parking, grocery stores, and, of course, the beach. The host, Brahim, was exceptional, an incredibly kind person. The staff was phenomenal, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel completely at home. The Moroccan food served at the camp was delicious and authentic, a real treat. Beyond surfing, the camp offers a variety of activities like sandboarding, yoga, and more. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return next year with my wife!

You can spend hours on the roof and the terrace and just be happy.

Doors (rooms and bathroom) need fixing as they close poorly therefore are loud.

The staff were just wonderful, bright and breezy and helpful. Yusef did a great breakfast and lit up the room with his smile. Great surfer vibe but even us old non surfing travellers enjoyed the social mix up on the lovely terrace. Easy stroll down into town. Excellent.

From the moment we arrived, Ibrahim, the owner, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home in this beautiful corner of Morocco. He didn’t just teach us how to surf; we discovered a great friendship along the way. His passion for surfing, and uplifting spirit made every session on the water something to look forward to. By the end of our stay, it felt like we weren’t just leaving a surf camp, but a second home filled with incredible people we will never forget. The hostel is lovely and clean . The WiFi is excellent- it’s fast ,works all over the hostel from the cute court yard garden to the roof top terrace with views out to sea and the mountains The water is hot and the pressure is great. The breakfast is great and the staff are flexible with the timing for breakfast. I was travelling alone and the owner and his staff made me feel very comfortable from the start . The boys working there, Habib and Abdoul are just the right amount of friendly and are happy to chat with you about life and make you welcome when you want to cook in the kitchen ( unlike some hostels I have stayed in . I wasn’t surfing on my trip but if you are they have lots of place to store your surf kit and dry your wetsuit etc. plus parking is easy and right on the door step so no problem getting your kit to your car . You can also book surf lessons too if you want to learn . They are a new hostel but it feels very professional as the owner ibramham ( sorry for the spelling) has years of experience in the surf camp / hostel industry. He was great at getting things organised. Any can sort pretty much anything very quickly. I would definitely stay here again 😍 P.S don’t forget to try the food the food they offer , very tasty and a good price too

The property has everything you need including a great rooftop. But the best part is that the Owner Ibrahim and his staff are there to help you with everything you need. They are ready to address all your requests and it was really great to get to know them. It’s an ideal place to surf and have a relaxing vacation a bit far from tourists.

The house and the room were conveniently equipped and accurately cleaned everyday. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop has a nice view, and comfy eat&chill couches. The house is quiet and respectful, which made it easy to perform work/study as well.

The hosts Ibrahim, Habib & Mohammed are all very kind souls, and we received nothing but friendship, warmth & love from these special people who were attentive to our every need in a family style manner. The atmosphere is very chilled and very very welcoming. There is zero clique or edge to this place, which is nice, so dudes and nerds are equally welcome here :-) Ibrahim has a wealth of local knowledge and is very generous in sharing information and tips, and of course he can help with surf lessons, equipment hire etc. The food on offer here is really fantastic home cooking and great value, the Tajine= 35d which is ideal for travellers on a modest budget like us. The terrace, kitchen, hangout area is all well equipped with plenty of comfortable seating, relaxed ambience and nice views.

Not a big problem but there was a bit of a mix up with the rooms and we ended up with a smaller room than we expected. The host offered to give us a different room but we actually liked the small room and it had a nice balcony outside.

The special thing is the staff Brahim and Habib are very helpful and heartful! Accommodation is New and clean. There are locker boxes in the dormitory room.

Great location on the edge of Tamraght, free parking, absolutely lovely guys running the place, kitchen to use, lounge with a view... Clean and safe.
