Ruime kamer, alles aanwezig wat nodig was. Ontbijt was zeer lekker, niet extreem uitgebreid maar dagelijks wat variatie. Steeds enkel beschikbaar tussen 9 en 10u. Fijne terrassen met leuk uitzicht!

Het was niet mogelijk de kamer te verluchten, nog naar buiten nog naar een open gang (zoals wel vaker in authentieke marokkaanse verblijven) waardoor zwem- en douchegerief moeilijk kon drogen. Hierdoor ook een vochtvlek op de muur.

I had a good stay at this place and would recommend it overall. The property is very clean, and you can tell they have made a great effort with the decoration, which gives the place a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is relaxing and has a nice chill vibe, perfect for unwinding. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. It was quiet during my stay, and while the rooms are simple, they are comfortable and restful. I also appreciated having air conditioning in the room, which made the stay even more comfortable.

What I didn’t like is not really the hotel’s fault, but the road leading to the property is in very bad condition, which makes the drive a bit unpleasant. There is also no proper parking nearby, so you have to leave your car in spots that are not really designated parking spaces. Some of the breakfast products could be improved in quality; for example, I would recommend serving real honey and amlou. I think it is better to offer higher-quality products, even if it means paying a bit more, to give guests a better experience. Also, we had a room where the bathroom and shower were outside, so we had to step out each time — it is mentioned in the description, so guests should read carefully before booking. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool as it was under construction or renovation during our stay. The location is also a bit far from the sea if you’re on foot; it took us about 10 minutes by car.

Staff were super friendly, went over and above our expectations. The room was decorated nicely and the breakfast was very enjoyable. Lovely overall vibe. Fantastic decor, felt very clean and authentic.

Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et excellent : crêpes marocaines, pain, omelettes ou oeufs, hamlou, confiture, beurre, jus de fruits (ce n'est pas du jus frais, dommage), olives, fromage, thé et café. Le gérant est gentil et serviable.

Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées : notre chambre du rez-de-chaussée avait même une fenêtre qui ne fermait pas ! Le concierge qui était présent le soir n'était pas très amical et manquait d'intérêt et de professionnalisme : il pianotait sur son téléphone et levait à peine la tête pour nous saluer, c'est dommage. Nous nous attendions à davantage d'ambiance au vu des photos sur le site : nous avons été déçus de cela

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und die Küchenfrau machte leckeres Frühstück. Es war recht sauber dort. Der Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse war sehr schön. Hier war alles orientalisch eingerichtet und es lagen sogar einige Spiele wie Uno, Jenga etc aus. Es ist nicht weit zu schönen Restaurants und Surfshops.

Es roch etwas modrig im Badezimmer und die Arbeiter welche auf der Terrasse im zweiten Stock arbeiten verrichteten weckten uns bereits vor 7 Uhr mit Bohrungen. Die Straßen zur Unterkunft sind sehr kaputt.

Mauvaises odeurs qui remontent de la douche, pas d'aération, serviettes usagées. Pas de rangement à part un portique sans cintre. On est obligé de garder les vêtements dans la valise.

Une des deux ampoules de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas, donc la chambre était un peu sombre le soir. Les serviettes sont assez usées et pourraient être changées, mais c'est un détail.

De kamer was proper en gezellig. De aansluitende badkamer was zeer handig. Het bed was zeer goed en aangenaam alsook de locatie was best oke. Rustig gelegen maar toch in het centrum. De host was ook zeer vriendelijk en het ontbijt was zeker voldoende.

De deur ging enkel toe wanneer je ze op slot deed en de badkamer was best nat wanneer je douchte aangezien het maar een kleine badkamer was zonder afscheiding tussen de douche en de rest van de badkamer. Voor de rest was alles best oke.

The bathroom smell wasn't good, so we had to keep the door open at all times. Luckily the bathroom is not attached to the room and we didn't have to worry about too much. It would be great if there was someone at the reception, because most of the time we needed to speak with the stuff they weren't there

Camera molto spaziosa e arredata con gusto. Terrazza panoramica fornita di giochi di società. Struttura situata in un paesino fuori dal caos delle grandi città e del turismo di massa, a pochi minuti a piedi da una spiaggia grande e sabbiosa da cui ammirare tramonti spettacolari.

La doccia non ha una porta, quindi quando là si utilizza si rischia di bagnare tutto il pavimento del bagno

The staff were amazing, breakfast was simple but good, cooked fresh every day. The building is new, clean and the wifi and air-conditioner worked well. The rooftop is cute. We asked to make modifications to our booking and the staff were helpful and offered options.

There is not much privacy in the bathroom (private bathroom), as there is only a glass door to the toilet which may not be ideal for families or groups of friends.

The hosts were really nice. The hotel was really clean and comfy. What you see in the pictures is what you really get (got the junior suite). I enjoyed the comfort and rest there, after a whole day of activities. I would definitely book here again, if I ever return to Tamraght. Note that I did not make use of their breakfast and dinner options, since I was originally staying in another surf camp/hostel.

Nothing really. If I had to nitpick, some automatic lights from the front door to the stairs would be nice. You can walk in and out 24/7 with your keys. During the first night, I banged the wall when I entered the hotel in the middle of the night.

Plein de punaises de lit, horrible, des cafards partout, des odeurs d'égouts dans les douche, les commentaires précédents étaient bien vrai. C'est salle et pleins d'insectes et de bugs dans la literie. C'est dégueulasse de dormir avec des punaises de lit dans les draps, des punaises de lit dans les oreillers.

Hubo una plaga de cucarachas en la habitación y el personal no mostró ningún interés en solucionarlo. Fue una estancia muy desagradable.

Bed bugs. Room changed to a different one than booked during the first night (because of the bed bugs), half in size, without jacuzzi. Owners refused reimbursement for either bed bugs or changing the room.

The place has a great vibe, the staff has been very friendly and helpful with all of our requests. Special thanks to Ikram, Said and the owners - lovely couple and amazing hosts!

The place is not sound proofed, so we could hear every noises from the street. However, it is quite a common issue in the area.

Surf lessons with Said were awesome. The price was very fair too. Motorcycle parking was okay. Next to the entrance within the surveillance cameras view. The rooftop terrace is amazing!

Reception by a very charming and upbeat young lady (Ikram, the receptionist). The place is sparkling clean, the breakfast is good. The roof terrace has several levels with views of the town and the ocean. My room was modestly sized, but functional and the bed was comfortable. A few issues with the hallway lighting, which I had to cross to get to my private bathroom. Location a little out of the way, but it's just a few minutes down the hill to get to the center of town. Definitely good value for the money.

The staff is really nice. It's super clean. The breakfast is quite good for the level expected.

The room I booked looked like a prison cell, but maybe it was my mistake choosing. It was the worst room in the building. The staff was very kind and helpful about it and made the arrangements to change to another very nice one! Just be careful when choosing the room. :)

We enjoyed our stay at Playa del Sol Surf House. The bed was comfortable, the rooftops were beautiful and had an amazing sight of the sunset. The staff was very nice and everything was really clean. The Riad is in walking distance to the shops/restaurants (5-10min) and the beach (20min)

The portions of the breakfast were really small, they did only served 2 little pancakes per person. After showering everything was wet for the rest of the days. The host offered us to text her with any questions, but never answered our message.

The room description does not match reality. The room was very nice, but it lacked the items that were listed on the website.

The owner is very kind and helpful. The manager, Lisa, is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is traditional Moroccan and delicious. Surf equipment is available for rent, and lessons with an instructor can be arranged. Transportation to and from the beach is provided. A perfect place to relax and surf!

Lisa on reception was great. Super helpful. The roof terrace was amazing. Nice touch having a cold fresh water dispenser. Saved me loads on bottled water.

Everything was great. Slightly noisy on the road near our room but not the accommodations fault. Also be warned it’s quite far up a steep hill as I hadn’t realised before I booked.

It wasn't clear in the description of the location that it's up a hill. Not a problem for younger people/ fitter people but if older people are attracted to come this could be a problem.

It wasn't made clear when we booked that the pool would be closed. The actual description said 2 pools and a bar and these weren't available either.

Nice decor

This have been the worst experience ever. I came to spend a week with friends, so I book the accommodation in this hostel, where they were staying. 1st night, horrible smell of sewage coming from the bathroom to the whole room. I asked for change of the room which was done. 2nd night horrible smell of sewage again, despite not using the shower. I asked again. They promised to replace the insulation of the drain, and poured bleach in the shower sink as well as in the toilet brush holder. Result: smell of sewage and chemicals. I managed to spend 1 night there. 3d night: the smell is unbearable. I spoke to the receptionist, she is obviously high on something (on inspection of the room, she bumped into the glass wall, and was so slow). I asked to speak to the owner. The women comes, Nawal, and she said it will be repaired soon. I asked for compensation, she calls her husband. Mohhamad from Saudi. He came over, I asked them to see the room on their own. They came up, agreed it stinks, and told me they are having new surf house just building, 10 mins walk, no smell. That I can move there, and they will refund me next 3 nights: 110 pounds. This was in the evening, and I agreed Night 4: new appartment = construction site, only bed and bathroom, no wardrobe, no comfort, but (!!) no smell. 10 mins away from my friends. meeting the couple - Anwar and Mohhamad in the guest house, asking about the refund: yes yes, tomorrow. Tomorrow has never come. Last day befor I left, I have contacted the man-Mohammad, he pretended that I have a wrong number (he himself typed the number to my friends phone when she wanted to buy art from him). The wife-Anwar, absolute ignorance the whole day. I started to call her,, went to reception to the old smelly hotel. Noone could reach her. Then she wrote me that the husband would retuen my 10 110 pounds tomorrow after breakfast. I was leaving at 8AM. no further reactions from her. NO remuneration, no honesty,culture.

Booked after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint! Fantastic hostel!

The room was simple and clean. The breakfast was the best I had in Morocco so far. The best part was the receptionist Lisa being very kind, giving useful tips and generally making the hostel feel a bit like coming home

I would rate this property above 10 if I could. Sure, I've stayed in hostels around the world that were slightly more luxurious, but this hostel was truly exceptional in every way. Ikram provided perfect hospitality, including giving us an early check-in, printing out our boarding passes without being asked, arranging a taxi to the airport at a good price, and always cheerful in the reception area. The room was super comfortable, clean, and huge! The hot tub in the room was a shocking surprise and great fun. Breakfast was very nice and fresh. My fiancee wasn't too keen about the uphill climb to the hostel, but I didn't mind, and it really wasn't that far from the main street, or the beach for that matter.

I really can't find fault with anything at the hostel. Just a perfect experience.

We originally booked Playa del Sol for two nights, but it was impossible not to want to stay longer, so we always added another night. We just couldn't leave! The entire environment and especially the friendliness of all the staff made us feel more than at home. We will definitely be back soon! We will always be grateful to Muhammad, Tahar, Hanny, Ikram, Esma and the other two lovely ladies who work there

This was such an amazing place to stay - honestly incredible. The terrace had an amazing view and multiple tiers which was awesome - top one was super chill especially. It was slightly up the hill, close to the beach and restaurants and the staff were all really nice. We booked a superior room because of the hot-tub bath - and it rocked, would have paid double (if i had it). The room was spotless and the bathroom was very modern and we had a TV with netflix! We were also allowed to store our bags for a few hours after check out which was great. Thank you so much for having us we would love to come back and I highly recommend to anyone !

For the price, this is a great place - clean, well-equipped and really friendly staff, we were so happy with it for our one night in Tamraght.

We were in a three bed room and there is no curtain or door for the bathroom, which meant not much privacy and it could be noisy/disturbing at night (the toilet & shower both had opaque glass doors).

We really enjoyed staying here. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. There are different levels where you can sit outside and they even have a small swimmingpool. Our room was comfortable and had a large bathroom. Breakfast was really good! Very friendly and helpfull staff! Our family enjoyed the surflessons.

Playa Del Sol felt like a home stay, warm and friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble. The hostel itself was authentically decorated, rooms comfortable and clean. There were gorgeous shared spaces, such as the terraces and pool area, to lounge around and catch the sun. Breakfast was prepared specially each morning and on our final evening, the tagine and meal around the open fire was such a great touch. The hostel is situated in a village on the hill about 15 minutes from the beach, there are plenty of great quality restaurants nearby (recommend Zaz) and Taghazout village is a 10 minute taxi ride away. Special shout out to Sofyane for the surf lesson and FIFA!

Our room was quite dark, but this is just the nature of buildings in Morocco , the hot tub very much made up for this!

We loved everything about this property! It had fantastic service, breakfast, facilities and staff! Even got a fantastic traditional free dinner provided for us.

We were 4 25 year old guys travelling for 4 days to have a lot of fun and truly a good time. From the 4 of us we’d like to say everything was exceptional, the staff the place the decore and so on. Theres nothing to complain about the hotel staff went above and beyond to match our needs and make pur holiday fantastic.

It’s a new surf house. Really cozy place, I loved the terrace and rooftop. They offered a moroccan dinner for free, we enjoyed it with others guests. Good breakfast every morning. Staff super friendly. Recommend 100%

We stayed for 8 nights in the Surf House and we could not be happier with our choice. The room was perfectly clean and the whole place was very modern. But the best thing by far is the staff, Sofyane is the friendliest guy ever and we felt very welcome. Everybody who is working there ist very friendly and you will just have a good time, If you are lucky you can even meet Mahmmed the owner and have a Talk with him and his wife! If we are coming back to Morocco, we will definitely book this place again!
