Nice design hotel with a cozy atmosphere and very good food.

Location is a bit outside the city center, about a 25-minute walk away. In the spa area, we would appreciate having some small snacks available, such as dried fruit or nuts.

Personál byl přátelský a profesionální, snídaně byly velmi rozmanité a luxusní. Rádi se vrátíme.

Vstup do sauny nebyl povolen již v ranních hodinách, ale až odpoledne od 15 hodin. Bazén bychom ocenili o takových cca 5 stupňů teplejší.

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes schickes Hotel mit sehr schönem Zimmer mit Balkon und wunderbarem Blick auf das Gasteiner Tal. Rezeption, Bar und Restaurant sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Gehzeit ins Zentrum ca. 25 Minuten, es gibt aber einen Transfer zum Skigebiet.

View was amazing, and it was a lovely Hotel, beautiful walk into town along the foot path overlooking Bad Gastein.

You had to get a shuttle bus to the ski slopes

No amenities in the rooms such as making a tea or coffee, no minibar, no snacks. Hotel offers only 1 restaurants. No chance to get a snack or anything after a hard skiing day. Cake display is very disappointing a appears a few days old. If I would have read guests reviews before I would have chosen a different place for our skiing holiday. My fault. Very disappointing 😞 although recreational facilities are fantastic.

Hele fijne plek. Prachtige omgeving. Hotel is mooi ingericht en het uitzicht op de vallei is schitterend.

מלון חמוד. צוות נחמד מאוד, מציע סיוע וחייכני. ארוחת בוקר טעימה מאוד. אוירה נעימה בכל מקום. ארוחת ערב במסעדה של המלון טובה מאוד, ידידותית לטבעוניים.

1. לא היתה מכונת קפה בחדר , די הפתיע מלון ברמתו. 2. מציגים עצמם כמלון ספא...יש סאונה ובריכה פנימית קרה. לא ממש ספא.. 3. חניה של המלון - בתשלום. מצויין באתר אבל עדיין מוזר שהתשלום עבור לינה הוא ככ גבוה והם דורשים תשלום עבור חניה פרטית של המלון. 4. מלון המעוצב יפה אך לא הייתי מגדירה כמלון אומנות.

We’re staying here for the second time and once again we’re really enjoying our experience. The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating, the rooms are nice and cozy, and the SPA is excellent.

The only inconvenience is the limited number of ski shuttle services. There are only two shuttle times to and from the ski station, which doesn’t give guests much flexibility. Since skiing is the main reason for our visit, a more convenient and frequent shuttle schedule is a critical factor—especially as there are very few alternative transfer options.

Ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet, saubere Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick, entspannte Atmosphäre, super Ausstattung (Pool, Sauna, Massagen, ...). Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tolle Lage, top Kulinarik - vor allem sehr gutes, variantenreiches Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal, feine Wellness Infrastruktur und wunderbare Aussicht

Property is nicely located and, if you take a room with the mountain view, it’s really beautiful. Majority of the staff at the reception desk is very friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is also very good and the food is of good wuakity. Juices are wonderfull too. We loved one of our dinner experiences, since the food, presentation and portions were all very just amazing. Most waiters are friendly and helpful, and do anything they can to make you stay feel pleasant. The gym is somewhat basic, but since not many people use it I guess it’s fine. The pool is not too big, but again, in winter not that many people come so if you like, you mostly will find it empty (the water could be little warmer in my opinion). At the end, the hotel is very stylish and that must be taken into account, as it makes it very comfortable and luxurious.

Although breakfast is nice, it can get little boring after a few days since only one dish changes one day to another. Also, there was a waiter at the dinner that was rather uninterested at us, but to other tables that were Austrian guests he was very very friendly and was explaining them dishes, wines and was very talkative (none of which was to us). Room service leaves the door open after they clean up, which is weird, but I guess safe in case when there’re two doors between the hallway and the room. Pillows were extremely soft in my opinion. Even though this can be very opinionated, I think they should have other pillows to provide in case these do not suite you.

- Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig (fleckiger Teppich, Haare im Badezimmer, schmutziger Couchtisch)! - keine Minibar im Zimmer - keine Kaffeemaschine und kein Wasserkocher im Zimmer (sollte bei 390 Euro die Nacht und für ein 4*Sterne Hotel selbstverständlich sein!)

One of the best hotel experiences ever. What a beautifully designed property where every single detail is on point. We stayed during the Christmas time and hotel employees made our days truly unforgettable. Different activities were organised for the hotel guests, gingerbread cooking classes for kids, mulled wine and open fire with live music for adult, movie nights and so on. After skiing or spending time outside you can have an amazing rest in saunas/ swimming pool overlooking the valley. Everything is pristine clean and very well maintained. Would come back wit no doubt)

The design and style of hotel very well, the view from our room was amazing, the vibe and atmosphere at reception area and bar was really great.

The fist thing - is housekeeping service. During our stay only after I went to reception to ask for cleaning our room we’ve got the service, and still during our four nights stay we had it just one time I’ve mentioned before. Second thing - poor service in restaurant. Literally doesn’t meet the stated standards. The glass of champagne for 14€ pour from the remains of the bottle, almost dead without any bubbles; low staff communication skills, so from the first dinner we were disappointed and didn’t visit it again.

I returned to this hotel after a previous stay that already raised concerns regarding billing accuracy and data security. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that the operational standards do not match the hotel’s image. Although we booked our preferred room months in advance, we were initially placed elsewhere and only later moved after insisting. While some staff members were excellent, especially at the bar and spa, several serious issues overshadowed our stay. The spa and pool areas are overcrowded, and the hygiene in the pool restroom was unacceptable, with wet floors, toilet paper on the ground, and even visible fecal traces. For a hotel of this category, this should never, never happen. More concerning was a major security breach: we returned to our room to find the terrace door left wide open and the safe open. Whether accidental or not, it means the room was left unsecured while we were away, which is extremely alarming. This alone would prevent me from recommending the property. Additionally, restaurant service during dinner was unusually slow, with long waits between courses and noticeable delays as the evening progressed. The hotel is beautifully designed, and some employees truly care (I will not mention their names, but I hope that the General Hotel Manager, T.H., will greet them and recognize their hard work ), but the recurring operational failures, hygiene issues, and especially the security breach leave a very bitter impression. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here until these problems are taken seriously and corrected.

Tolle Architektur, begeistert von den Inneneinrichtern, Aufenthalt sehr unkompliziert mit Hund,wahnsinnig schöner Ausblick vom Zimmer, schöner Waldweg am Hotel

Eigentlich war alles gut, das Servicepersonal hätte bei leeren Gläsern mal fragen können, oder beim Frühstücken fragen ob Kaffee gewünscht ist, da mussten wir immer aktiv werden, vielleicht sind sie schlecht entlohnt?! Eine Espressomaschine am Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

Extrem freundliches Personal und wirklich tolles Restaurant

Eine kleine Zeitreise in die guten alten Zeiten. Allerdings neu interpretiert. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl, und gut aufgehoben. Nettes Personal, ich komme bestimmt wieder 😀

Qualität und Auswahl der Speisen auf der Abendkarte könnte besser sein bzw. alternieren.

Excelente design e comodidades que nos fazem sentir bem e ter uma ótima experiência, com vontade de continuar a usufruir mais dias e de voltar.

das frühstück war sehr gut. es war sehr aufmerksames personal und der service war echt top. die produkte waren frisch und sehr gut und es gab eine große auswahl.

die zimmer waren nicht sehr gute gereinigt. es war okay aber hier waren haare evtl. vom reinigungspersonal und als ein paar kekse heruntergefallen war, waren die krümel am nächsten Tag nicht entfernt, was bedeutet dass nicht gesaugt wurde. um nicht von wischen zu sprechen.

Das Zimmer war atemberaubend modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, die Lobby im schicken 70er-Jahre-Look mit großer Terrasse lädt sofort zum Verweilen ein. Auch bei der Sauna gibt es eine Terrasse, auf der man wunderbar frische Bergluft genießen kann. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam; vom Willkommensdrink bis zum letzten Tag fühlte man sich rundum wohl. Alles war makellos sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Unbedingt Halbpension nehmen! So gutes, regionales Essen mit dieser Vielfalt und Qualität findet man selten. Das Frühstück ist ebenso top, frisch, regional und mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Der Wellnessbereich ist wunderschön, besonders die Sauna mit Ausblick in die Berge. Der Pool war anfangs etwas lauwarm, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell – und der Blick beim Schwimmen ist einfach traumhaft. Auch ausreichend Liegen sind vorhanden. Ruhige Lage, tolle Atmosphäre, modernes Design und großartige Küche; das Comodo ist der perfekte Ort zum Abschalten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Lediglich die Pool-Temperatur könnte etwas wärmer sein, man gewöhnt sich jedoch sehr schnell daran :)

The view from both the room and the pool area was beautiful. The pool facilities were definitely a highlight -stylish, relaxing, and well maintained, although the sauna area felt incomplete, missing the usual features like a cold plunge pool, which is quite standard. The indoor relaxation space by the saunas was also rather bare and not especially inviting lacking the usual wellbeing vibe. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection, though on two mornings the staff forgot to bring items we had ordered. The massage at the spa was excellent - one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

The fact that parking on the hotel grounds is paid feels odd - you’re a guest, yet still have to pay extra, and it’s not even covered. We actually paid less for secure underground parking in Vienna. There was no fridge in the room to keep drinks cool, and no complimentary water provided. Although the design is nice, parts of the hotel still give off an old-school vibe, as if there hasn’t been enough investment to make it fully polished and finished down to the details, especially in the foyer area & corridors. The food in the restaurant was uninspiring and not particularly tasty, yet quite expensive, and the same goes for the drinks in the bar. We visited in the off-season and got the sense that the place lacked energy as if things weren’t running at full speed and the usual atmosphere was missing. There was just no spark; most likely it feels livelier when there are more guests around. The bicycles we rented from the hotel had no mudguards, so we ended up returning with our backpacks, jackets, and trousers splashed with mud - though otherwise, the bikes themselves were good quality. We just expected more from a design hotel recognised by Michelin Guide.

Clean room and very friendly and helpful staff

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic — so many options to choose from. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Having a bathtub in the room really added to the vibe — pure relaxation. The staff are extremely well-trained and genuinely helpful. Being able to rent bikes was a big plus. The location is perfect — quiet yet close to everything. My sleep was 10/10 — it’s such a peaceful place.

the staff are not friendly, except for one or 2. they do not serve with happiness. they got to be educated how to deal with guest and serve in the best way. im not saying they are bad, they just not friendly.

The cleanliness was excellent, the service was professional and quick, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the facilities were complete. Overall, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at — highly recommended
